Strange Behavior between identical servers

We have an interesting problem that is effecting the performance of an
application on our production servers but is not happening on our test
servers. All servers are the same, Win2k server sp3 running Weblogic
5.1 sp9. Our clients were complaining of slow performance on the
production servers, they were describing a situation where the page
was "painting" across the screen rather than loading instantly as it
does in test. We are using ssl and have an enterprise requirement
that the "Do not save encrypted pages to disk" setting is checked
(meaning we are not caching the pages) in IE (IE 6). Given that we
immediately ruled out caching on the client as it is a non-issue.
After running a tcptrace, we found a difference in the way the boxes
were pushing the pages down to the client, in test, a single
connection is established to the webserver and all of the components
of the page (images, javascript files, etc...) are being pushed across
that one connection. However in production, we found that when
loading the same page a separate connection is being opened for every
object pushed down, this is clearly what is causing the "painting"
effect but the question is why???
My first guess was HTTP1.0 vs HTTP1.1, but client is sending requests
HTTP1.1 and in both test and production the server is responding with
HTTP1.1, keep-alive settings are identical on both servers, in fact
all configuration settings in configuration.properties are identical.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this? We have
verified that the primary configurable tcp/ip settings are identical
on all boxes.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I think you're reading way too much into my giggle.
It was innocent smile at Dimitri's officiousness. Any reasonably well-read person knows that it doesn't matter what country you're in, if you just want to mention the name a product
especially
in a venue like these forumsthere are no regulations that say you need to mark it with an ® or a or a ©. It's universally understood that the applications we speak of here are owned by our esteemed hosts, and they sure don't give a rip about it.
That's what I think.
Oh, and I still think you need to take a remedial writing-for-comprehension class, as I have for a good 8 or 10 years now.

• Strange behaviors between TextInputSkin and StageTextInputSkin

Hi All,
I met a very strange behaviors, and need help with, any idea will be truly appreicated.
I have a phone field and date field both from TextInput field, I aslo have textfieldskin which is original from TextInputSkin.
When I apply the TextInputSkin to the TextInput field, the softKeyboard Type can not be modified. I found out that as TextDisplay is not StyleableStageText, the autocorrect, type, etc can not be modified while StageTextInputSkin will work just fine.
However, when I applied the StageTextInputSkin to my fields, the mouse click event can not be rececived any more...
My question: How can I change the softkeyboardType and be able to receive mouse click event at same time if my control is from TextInput?
Kind Regards,

6 months, and a new cs6 with no improvements on this issue.
My biggest problem is with an android ICS unit the softkeyboarddeactivated gets called when the keyboard switches and shows the mic speak input keyboard but softkeyboardactivating or activated does not get called when the mic input keyboard is shown.
Also the scrolling bug is horrible and needs to be fixed.
and keypresses are needed.
and being able to layer the native components would be great.
im sad.

• Strange Behavior with gMSA in Server 2012 R2

Greetings,
I have been doing some testing with gMSA Accounts in a Server 2012 R2 environment (two separate environments, actually), and I have noticed something very strange that occurred in both environments, which does not appear to be occurring in one of our customer's
self-managed environments.
We created a Group Managed Service Account using the following article:
http://blogs.technet.com/b/askpfeplat/archive/2012/12/17/windows-server-2012-group-managed-service-accounts.aspx
Everything went smoothly, and the account installs/tests successfully on both of the hosts that we are testing on. I am able to set my services to run under the account, and most of them appear to work fine. I am having some issues with a few of my services,
and I believe that the strange behavior I am seeing may have something to do with this - described below:
As soon as I set the service's Log On Account (via the Log On Tab under the Service's Properties), the entirety of the "Log On" tab changes to "greyed out," and I am unable to change the Log On account back via the GUI (Screenshot
attached).
I found that I am able to successfully change the account via Command Line using sc.exe, but the Log On tab remains greyed out! So far, I have found nothing to remedy this, but confirmed that it happens for any service I set to use the gMSA as the Logon
Account, and that it happens in 2 separate test environments, but not in a Customer's production environment - very strange.
All servers in this environment are running Server 2012 R2, and domain Functional Level is currently Server 2012.
I have been unable to find any information online about this behavior, so I am hoping someone has seen this before, and can explain why this is happening.
Nick

VIvian,
Yes, we used the Install-AdServiceAccount gMSA command on each host using the gMSA account, and then ran Test-AdServiceAccount gMSA, which returned "True."
However, one thing I noticed is that if I run Test-ADServiceAccount gMSA as a Local Administrator, it fails with the following:
PS C:\Users\Administrator> Test-AdServiceAccount gMSA$
Test-AdServiceAccount : The server has rejected the client credentials.
At line:1 char:1
+ Test-AdServiceAccount gMSA$
+ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
+ CategoryInfo          : SecurityError: (:) [Test-ADServiceAccount], AuthenticationException
+ FullyQualifiedErrorId : ActiveDirectoryCmdlet:System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException,Microsoft.A
ctiveDirectory.Management.Commands.TestADServiceAccount
If I run Test-ADServiceAccount gMSA as Domain Administrator, it returns true:
PS C:\Users\Administrator.<domainname>> Test-AdServiceAccount gMSA$
True
Is this normal?
Overall, I think the issue I am running into is at the Application Level, and not a problem with the gMSA, as it appears to be working. (Can Start/Stop services without any issues). I will be investigating my issue further with 3rd-party vendors, unless
you think there is something wrong with my gMSA accounts based on the information I have provided.

• Strange Behavior in iMovie 08

I recently purchased a MacPro, installed Leopard and moved all my files, applications, and settings from my MacBook Pro notebook by way of a Time Machine backup. Everything went without a hitch except for iMovie 08. When I open it it appears to start up but the application window never opens and almost all the menu items are grayed out. I can quit the application and start it again, but still get the same strange behavior. I have repaired permissions, verified my disk, deleted preferences and reinstalled iLife, then updated in software update, all with no effect. However iMovie 08 runs just fine on my MacBook Pro which should be identical to my Mac Pro. What gives? Ironic since a primary reason for purchasing this computer was for its enhance performance capabilities

1) load and install the update for iM08, vers 7.1.
2) then, in System Preferences/Monitor/Color Profile choose 'any other' than the actual one (e.g. AdobeRGB).. launch iM08.. now, set the Color Profile to your wanted one..

• Strange behavior in Webi : No data returned

Hi,
I am experiencing a strange behavior.
I have created a condition object in universe.
Start Date : DATE_DIM_TBL.DAY >= UPPER(to_char(to_date(@prompt('Enter start date','D',,mono,free),'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI:SS'),'dd-mon-yy'))
End Date : DATE_DIM_TBL.DAY <= UPPER(to_char(to_date(@prompt('Enter end date','D',,mono,free),'dd/mm/yyyy HH24:MI:SS'),'dd-mon-yy'))
Now when I create report to display years between 01-05-2005 and 04-05-2009. Report does not return any data.
Where as when I execute the generated query from SQL prompt it return correct data.
SELECT

• Strange Behavior In IE 8

First off I would like to say how happy I am to find an active comunity of GoLive users. I had lost my copy of GoLive during a computer change. I tried several times to make the transition to DreamWeaver and hated it with a passion. It literally sucked all the joy out of creatinyg websites for me. I have been inactive for that reason for quite sometime.
Just recently I decided to start a new project and was thrilled when I was able to aquire a legal copy of GoLive CS2 from a coworker who had upgraded to CS5 and no longer had a use for CS2.
So here is my problem. I just finished designing and building a small site as a corporate identity site. I am very happy with the design but when it first loads it exhibits some strange behavior. In IE8 the logo on the index page on first load comes up out of place. I have to refresh to make it come together correctly. Then the page transitions are the ugliest thing I've ever seen. Going from one page to the next produces a hidious flash. Everything looks and works fine in FireFox.
My first thought is that it has something to do with the encoding.
Here is the URL:
http://www.ffdminc.com
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

If the license of CS2 was used to upgrade, then your co-worker had no right to pass off CS2 or any part of it. You may not really be legal. But if you used their media to install your own license, you are fine.
Your problems might be due to the table-based design you have used. You may do much better by moving forward with CSS and reusing images instead of pushing an entirely new set of image files with each page.
The flicker/transitions may appear in any browser where the images are not yet cached.

• 802.1x "MachineorUser" Auth Mode strange behavior in 2950 & 3750 Switches

Good Day Support Team around the world,
Having started recently tests with 802.1x in a lab environment, I noticed a strange behavior related to authentication. First let me provide you with the network components I used.
supplicant: domain-joined laptop with Windows XP SP3 802.1x embedded client
authenticator1:              Cisco 2950-24
authenticator2:              Cisco 3750-24
authentication server: MS NPS Windows Server 2008
1. In the first scenario with 3750 switch when I connect the laptop to relevant port the machine authentication is successful. Then I try to login with a domain account and again the authentication is completed without any problem. Then I log off and user authentication is revoked and the machine authentication is used again without any issue. When I try to login again as local user the authentication fails as expected but the port remains disabled (port blinking amber) regardless the fact that port is configured for Auth-Fail Vlan. When I log off then the machine authentication is used again and the access is granted.
2. In the second scenario with 2950 switch as authenticator, I follow the same steps as before and when I try to login as local user the authentication is failed and the port is assigned the Auth-Fail Vlan (as expected based on configuration). However when I log off it seems that the 2950 switch still use the Auth-Fail Vlan for that port and never authenticates again for machine authentication.
Could you please let me someone know if this is normal ( I suppose no). Please find attached the relevant debug output from the second scenario.
Thank you!!!

Hi,
basically what happens is that the maximum EAP packet size for communication between client and RADIUS server is negotiated. Therefore, in your case the switch notifies NPS that the client is capable of handling packets up to 9000 bytes in size.
EAP messages, especially those containing the server certificate, are usually bigger than 1500 bytes and arrive at the switch in multiple fragments:
Mar  6 15:50:11.881: RADIUS(0000002C): Received from id 1645/41
Mar  6 15:50:11.881: RADIUS/DECODE: EAP-Message fragments, 253+253+253+253+253+253+253+253+20, total 2044 bytes
Having learned that 2044 bytes is acceptable for the client, the switch forwards the full message in one chunk, but since your client is likely to have set the interface MTU to 1500, the packet is oversized and never reaches its destination.
And yes, I think changing the System Jumbo MTU to 1500 bytes would lead to the same result. If my memory serves me right, a new setting takes effect only after a reboot, so I'd suggest giving it a go in your lab first.
Best regards,
Josef

• Strange behavior of system with enabled FileVault2, Roaming profile

Hello,
I have encountered strange behavor of my Macbook Air after some testing.
Macbook Air 2012 was newly installed with 10.8.4 and joined network account server on 10.8.4 server with Roaming profile (synced with server home directory). After installing some basic apps like iWork I turned on FileVault.
Then I start to have the strange behavior - iWorks are not displaying content of document - it seams blank - just white screen without any borders where should be at least lines in numbers or empty cells.
Another display problem is in Safari. On same pages (even default Top SItes) it`s flashing and especially when scrolling.
Did you encountered something similar? I`m not able to get rid of it.
Computers was used for some time before turining on FIle Vault and problem started to occur after this action. Disabling of FileVault didn`t helped (properly restarted between steps).
I didn`t found anything strange in Console or elsewhere..

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, or by corruption of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. Note: If FileVault is enabled on some models, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain iMacs. The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of steps 1 and 2.

• Strange behavior of GetStringUTFChars in Linux

Good evening!
I made an implementation of a native method in C++ for Windows and Linux, in windows it works fine, but in Linux I have a strange behavior of GetStringUTFChars here is the piece code :
JNIEXPORT jint JNICALL Java_MyNativeMethod
(JNIEnv *env, jobject obj, jstring IpAddress) {
const char * ccpIpAddress = env->GetStringUTFChars(IpAddress, 0);
jsize size = env->GetStringLength(ccpIpAddress);
trace("IpAddress : %s size: %d", ccpIpAddress, size);
Absolute normal... but when I pass as parameter a string '192.168.1.11'
I receive from 'IpAddress : HBĽ1 size: 0' to 'IpAddress : P9D7D6DwDMS\H#M\H : 251'
I made a little and simple test to print a String to verify if is Linux problem but IT WORKED FINE!
I've notice that the differences between both programs are that the wrong one has been linked with a C lib, but the #define __cplusplus is OK also, and all the compile process use C++ code...
This is my compilation line
g++ -o lib{myLib}.so {myImpl}.cpp lib{C li}.so libstdc++.so -I {JAVA_HOME}/include/ -I {JAVA_HOME}/include/linux/ -shared -static -L{JAVA_HOME}/jre/lib/i386/
(variables put for clarity) and (I tried with gcc also)
the libstrd++.so is been used in my simple test link options too.
I was wondering if there is some -Doption which should be defined that
functions->GetStringChars(this,str,isCopy); implementation ask for...
or if the link with a C code is messing the things in a different behavior
Thanks for the help

• [BO XI 3.0] - Strange behavior regarding language settings

Hello,
I found strange behavior BOE in infoview portal. We have Desktop intelligence documents published in repository and when we open report (first time) in infoview we have right format for date and numbers e.g. dd.mm.yyyy, 123.123,00.
When we close this report and open once again the format is en-US e.g. mm/dd/yyyy 123,123.00 and this is wrong. We log out and log in and open this report but no change.
If we restart services in cmc (deski services) then the first time is report ok and when we open again this report the same error.
SW:
Windows server 2003 sp2 - english (regional settings - slovenian)
BOE premium ( BO XI R 3.0 => the same problem in BO XI 3.1)
CMS database => Oracle 10gR2 (nsl lang SLOVENIAN_SLOVENIA.EE8MSWIN1250)
Language settings in infoview we check => use browser locale and slovenian
Thank you for reply!
In BOE R2 works fine...
Regards,
Gregor

Hi Gregor,
Try the following option.
Find the file i8ln.xml in the location
"<install directory of BO>\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\win32_x86\scripts\"
Take a backup of the file and make the follwing changes.
Find the following code in the file
activate_languages>
<state value="0"/>
<State value="0" cs_lang="Bulgarian"/>
<State value="0" orig_lang="" cible_lang="Bulgarian"/>*
<State value="0"/>
</activate_languages>
Replace it with:
<activate_languages>
<state value="0"/>
<State value="1" cs_lang="English (Australian)"/>
<State value="1" orig_lang="" cible_lang="English (Australian)"/>*
<State value="1"/>
</activate_languages>
Save the file.
Restart your Desktop Intelligence servers. It might take a bit of time to pick up the changes.
Note: If you start Deski after this change, and go to "Tools > Options", you will see a disabled language button with "English(....)" written on it.

• Strange behavior when compiled with Visual C++ 2005 Express Edition

I wrote a program for Berkeley DBXML 2.2.13 on Windows XP that executes a query 5 times and prints out the runtime for each execution. When I run the program using the Debug version of the libraries the queries take about the same time to execute for all 5 executions. When I run the program using the Release version of the libraries the execution time of the queries degrades significantly between each execution. One query takes 2 seconds to execute the first time and 20 to execute the last. I have tried recompiling the Release version without optimization and the strange behavior persists. I have run both the Release and Debug versions several times and gotten the same results, so I doubt it is a program running in the background that is slowing the execution.
This behavior does not happen when I compile the program under Unbuntu using g++, so I assume it is caused by some flag set in the Release version of Visual C++. Has anyone else experienced this behavior and know what flags I should or should not set?
Thanks for your time.
Lauren

Hi Lauren,
We've had users experience this before, and it seems to be a bug/"feature" of the default windows heap allocator. Please see this post for a bit more explanation and a solution:

• Strange behavior on pick load

We have a strange behavior with TopLink when the load of the server increases : random errors appear in database : pimary key voilated !
After analysis, we noted that TopLink generates a SQL INSERT in the place of SQL UPDATE. We use the method registerObject for enregister the existing object in the unitOfWork but in certain cases Toplink does not see any more that the object exists and decides to insert it.
When we pass by again the same cases of figure after the peaks of loads, the program proceeds normally and TopLink generates SQL UPDATE.
Thank you for your assistance, our production suffers from this problem

Hello,
Looks like you have the existence checking set to checkcache only and are likely using a WeakIdentityMap for your objects identity. Under load, this could potentially cause references in the cache to be garbage collected, so that subsequent existence checks won't find them.
If the above is correct, you can increase/decrease the likelyhood of the problem occuring on a test system by tuning the JVM - removing/adding memory, tuning gc options etc. You might also want to tune each descriptor cache based on your applications usage as described at:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/doc/10131/main/_html/cachun.htm#CHEJAEBH
In addition to setting JVM options that suit your application's usage and load, you can prevent the problem entirely by:
1) reading existing objects through the UOW instead of registering them. This will ensure that if the object has been removed from the cache, it will be read from the database. If it hasn't been removed, it is just a cache hit. Or
2) use the Check Cache then Database option.
Benifits of 1 are that if you know the object is new, you don't need to go to the database, but you can always use the RegisterNewObject api as well to avoid the database hit with option 2 anyway. There are probably more ways to avoid the problem, these are just the first two I thought of.
Best Regards,
Chris

• Strange behavior scrolling LongListSelector - WP8

I have an app where I save the user's contacts in a local Database, then bind this contacts in a LongListSelector.
The app has a button that,, when clicked, update the local database (make it
identical to the devide).
When there is changes, the LongListSelector has a strange behavior after return from search to the list (view): when I scroll fast or after some time scrolling, a blank space appears in the middle of the list. Then I found out that, apparently, the list
is cutting some items...
This behavior happens only when I have a long list, like 50 items or more..
I bind the items on LongListSelector this way:
XAML:
<Grid x:Name="ContentPanelContatos" Grid.Row="1" Margin="0" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" >
<Grid x:Name="gridContatos" Grid.Row="1" Margin="12,2,12,0" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" >
<Grid.RowDefinitions>
<RowDefinition Height="Auto"/>
<RowDefinition Height="*"/>
</Grid.RowDefinitions>
<Grid Grid.Row="0" Margin="0,0,0,12" >
<TextBox x:Name="tbxSearch" VerticalAlignment="Top" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" Visibility="Collapsed" TextChanged="TbxSearch_TextChanged" LostFocus="TbxSearch_LostFocus" Style="{StaticResource TextBoxStyle}" />
</Grid>
<phone:LongListSelector Grid.Row="1" x:Name="llsContacts" ItemsSource="{Binding}" SelectionChanged="llsContacts_SelectionChanged" >
<phone:LongListSelector.ItemTemplate>
<DataTemplate>
<ListBoxItem local:TiltEffect.IsTiltEnabled="true">
<Grid Margin="0,0,0,10" >
<TextBlock Text="{Binding NAME, Mode=TwoWay}" FontFamily="Segoe WP" FontSize="28" Margin="77,0,0,0" />
<TextBlock Text="{Binding Path=NUMBER, Mode=TwoWay}" FontFamily="Segoe WP Light" FontSize="17" Margin="77,33,0,0"/>
</Grid>
</ListBoxItem>
</DataTemplate>
</phone:LongListSelector.ItemTemplate>
</phone:LongListSelector>
</Grid>
<!-- more 2 grids with contents -->
</Grid>
I was binding the items using ObservableCollection and I was having this problem.. Then I tried to erase the list and bind it again (after the search) this way:
if (llsContacts.ItemsSource != null)
llsContacts.ItemsSource.Clear();
llsContacts.DataContext = daoRd.GetData();
But I'm still with this problem...
Does anybody can tell me what is happening?
Am I doing something wrong?
Reading this article:
Frame rate counters in Windows Phone, I noticed that when this problem happens, some of the numbers that are on the side of the screen when debugging, stops changing...
They stops like this:
User Interface Thread FPS: 000
Texture Memory Usage: 007181
Surface Counter: 050
Intermediate Texture Counter: 002
Does this numbers means something?

have you dumped the contents of what is returned from daoRD.GetData()? Could be one of the items in the collection has blank strings? Also I noticed you clear the ItemsSource before setting the DataContext. That is probably
not necessary if you are setting the DataContext immediately after that.

I am learning JSF and was trying to implement a small exercise on EL (with JSF page and JSP2). i found a strange behavior and completely clueless of the reason behind it. Please find my code below and scenario
MY JSP file

The above JSP file is giving the below output on IE
Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_1 result
First Name
Second Name
ThirdName Name
Accessing Bean Properties
red
green
white
black
First Name = Tarun
Second Name = kumar
last Name =
Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_2
red
green
white
black
First Name Tarun
Second Name kumar
ThirdName Name
Why is there a difference in output between Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_1 & Accessing Bean Properties: JSP2_2 when the code written is the same. My Controller bean class below
package task2;
public class FavortiteColors {
String[] col;
public void setCol(String[] col) {
this.col = col;
public String[] getCol(){
System.out.println("in getCOl");
String[] col = new String[4];
col[0] = "red";
col[1] = "green";
col[2] = "white";
col[3] = "black";
return col;
public String processColors(){
System.out.println("in processcol");
return "pass";
private String firstName = "Tarun";
private String lastName ;
private String middleName ;
public String getMiddleName() {
System.out.println("in getMiddleName");
return "kumar";
public void setMiddleName(String middleName) {
System.out.println("setMiddleName");
this.middleName = middleName;
public String getFirstName() {
System.out.println("getFirstName");
return firstName;
public void setFirstName(String firstName) {
System.out.println("setFirstName");
this.firstName = firstName;
public String getLastName() {
System.out.println("getLastName");
return lastName;
public void setLastName(String lastName) {
System.out.println("setLastName");
this.lastName = lastName;

FYI, If you don't want to use a prefix mapping, you can use JSFTemplating. It supports the Facelets syntax for composition / insert / define / include, etc. However, it doesn't rely on the DEFAULT_SUFFIX to find pages.
However, even though JSFT (and Faclets) have the ability to limit their scope to a subset of your application and/or behave well with other ViewHandlers. That doesn't mean the Tiles ViewHandler will... it might, I just don't know anything about it.
Good luck!

• E6 Key Lock Strange Behavior

My E6-00 is running Belle. The key lock switch displays very strange behavior. When I slide it to lock the phone, there will be two or three vibrations and the phone will momentarily lock and then unlock again. I have to slide it three or four times to actually get it to lock and stay locked. Behavior when unlocking is identical - sliding the switch will make the phone vibrate two or three times, and the phone will unlock for a split second before re-locking itself. I have to slide the switch three or four times to actually unlock it.
The flashlight works fine. It seems like the switch engages once when it is pushed, and then somehow engages again at the top of its movement.
This is incredibly annoying. Is it a known problem? A software defect? Hardware? Or something else?

I dont have that problem.
Have you tried to do a soft reset?
meny-settings-phone-phone management-fabric settings-restore
Otherwise a hard reset (wipe the c and d comparment and sdhc card, After that, a reinstallment of Belle through Nokia Suite.
Dont reinstall backups of apps and a lots of old material...only contacts and the most important I think could be the solution. This goes for many people who having problem after Belle update. I call it spring cleaning.
