Structure of Query is creating problem in APD.

Hi All,
I am trying to use APD (RSANWB) to extract query result which is having global structure in rows.
While activating it is giving following error
The technical field name KYF_0012 for field 4E8JA7LH1QKPEG1FADK4YYI43 may only appear once per input or output structure
Message no. RSAN_WB010
Diagnosis
Technical key for message: CX_RSAN_SVC_CHECK_ANALYSIS_N=>NODE_FIELDNAME_NOT_U
Procedure
If you require further assistance, look in the SAPNet - R/3 Frontend for a note with the key words CX_RSAN_SVC_CHECK_ANALYSIS_N=>NODE_FIELDNAME_NOT_U or RSAN_WB010.
Can you suggest any solution to this.

The Query what I am using is having key figure structure in rows with formula variables. In colomn also keyfigure structure is being used. At the same time becuase of two structure in a single query they are using cell definition having formula variables. So when I am trying to use this Query in APD it is giving the below mentioned error.

It is not becuase I am trying to use it again. Even I tried ti make them all initial in transformation and then tried to check the Query but still it is giving the same error.

in Query at a time only 2 structures can be used, even thought there are many structures created on that infoprovider.

Download Query execution to a File - APD

Hi,
I would like to download to a file the execution of a Query. I thought in APD, but I am facing an issue.
The layout of the query is the following (and as I expect to be in the flat file):

Hi Fredrico ,
APD will not be very helpful in your case as it cannot change query output format .However if you want it in mentioned format you can use function module RRW3_GET_QUERY_VIEW_DATA which will provide you t_cell_data (columns ) and t_axis_data (rows) that can be further changed into your desired format and can be written into a flat file .
For this you need to write a Report program in se38 and need to execute this function module .Later on you can convert your output as per your requirement and can write it to text file (either in your desktop or application server ).
This will be very efficient if your query have structures etc and also efficient in terms of memory .
If your requirement is for passing query output to non SAP system then it is very helpful.

HI Ramu,
If ur structure is global then it will be available in the left panel in the structure tree, Just drag and drop into the rowns or colums. Make sure that the structure is saved as global.

Master /Detail create problem

Firstly to say sorry for my bad English.
Now I have a question:
I'm working in JDeveloper 10.1.3 .The model layer is SessionEJB /Toplink ,and the view layer is JSF. I have a data structure :
HrUnit : Master
HrHuman : detail
HrKnowledge : detail
the <HrHuman>'s PRIMARYKEY is <ID>,and the <HrKnowledge>'s FOREIGN KEY is <RYID>.
and I want to make a page to insert a new row on <HrKnowledge>. I drag the <hrKnowledgeCollectionIterator> into the page as <ADF Creation Form>, the page run fine.
next step, I make <persistEntity> binding to the <submit button> and the parameters(entity) is
${bindings.hrKnowledgeCollectionIterator.currentRow.dataProvider}.
when i run the page , i get a wrong . i get the SQL in the <Unit of work > is
"INSERT INTO HrUnit ....."
i create a direct mapping for the detail's foreginkey in toplink,and when i "rebuild" the map ,it gives me a warning. This warning affect my custom code in EJB,it can't work correctly. So i can't use this way in my question.

I am not an expert in TopLink, but it appears to me that the TopLink model is causes your problems not ADF. There is a TopLink forum here on OTN that could give you a helping hand on this issue.

If you have a copy of your .muse file that has not been saved using 2014.3, you can downgrade by uninstalling Muse and then choose Previous Version in the Filters drop down in the Apps panel of the Creative Cloud desktop app. There will be a popup next to Muse where you can select a prior version to install.

The above table STUDENT_DETAILS stores the details of all the students and each student has a unique student id.
Another table PAYMENT_HEADER saves the payment details as a document for each month which has a header id.
In the PAYMENT_DETAILS table, payment details are stored for the students (who made the payment for that month). This table does not save the data for a student if he has not paid on that month. This table is connected to the PAYMENT_HEADER table through a header Id.
The view should be such that when I pass the document number, it shall show the names of all the students, but shall show payment amount only for those students who had paid under the selected document number, for other it should show null.
I tried the following query:

My requirement is that, every time I use a document number in the where clause for the view it should show the paid amount against the student names who has paid on that month and for all other student it should null. Total student number is 13. So every time it should show 13 students only even when I pass document No 2 or 3.

as per your advice, I am omitting the 'DOB', 'GENDER','ACTIVE','CONTACT_NUMBER' fields from the 'STUDENT_DETAILS' table.
I shall create separate tables and insert the desired output from the view for each where clause.
First let us create three tables each for the desired out put:
1) For the desired output I want to see when I pass doc_num as 1

Query in item problem

Hellou everybody.
I need your help. I am using forms 6i and i have a block with some non DB items. But items are synchronize with DB items for viewing results. I use this items for diplaying results from DB tables. In enter query mode i write condition in this text items and execute query.
My problem is that i have text item which is VARCHAR2 type and I need to enter the condition for example > 1000. But i don't know how to convert this field to number. When i execute query under char type it not work properly (other result). I tried to change data type to number but i can't because it's not alowed to mixed types.
select * from table_name where pag_cis > 100 - i need this
select * from table_name where pag_cis > '100' - i have this
Can you help me???

You may use the set_block_property procedure built-in and the 'default_where' property so as to execute the query using the contents of your item (with the name of column , of course).
Afterwards , you navigate to the db items block (with go_block('blockname')) and execute the query (built-in 'execute_query').

More than two structures in query

Is it possible to use more than two structures in query?

you can have only two structures in a query. by default you will have one in the columns. And you can have one in the rows.

A query to create sales information for a specific date.

Please look at attached image, you will see how this query look like. This query will generate all sales from 1/1/2014 until today. I would like to see if the query can create the sales report for a range from 1/1/2014 until yesterday (does not included any sales for today). Any help will be appreciated.

Hi Bill,
The query attached looks like it is selecting results based on the salesorder name starting with the current year. As is written, it won't be able to filter out today.
If you want to exclude today, you'll need to modify the current selectivity predicate for today to perhaps a BETWEEN predicate ( e.g. table.datefield BETWEEN '2014-01-01' and DATEADD(day,-1,GETDATE()) ) or add an exclusion predicate ( e.g. table.datefield <> DATEADD(day,-1,GETDATE()) ).
Note that you'll need to have a field in the data that has the day. Your query does not have any schema information, and all it seemingly reveals is that a salesorder name starts with the current year.

Query on Creating and Populating I$ table on different condition

I have a query on creating and populating I$ table on different condition.In which condition the I$ table is created??And These condition are mentioned below:
1)*source and staging area* are on same server(i.e target is on another server)
2)*staging area and Target* are on same server(i.e source is on another server)
3)*source,staging area and Target* are on *3 different* server
4)source,staging area and Target are on same server

I am not very much clear about your question. Still trying my best to clear it out.
In your all above requirement I$ table will be created.
If staging same as target ( One database,one user) then all temp tables will be created under this user
If staging is different than target ( One database,two user (A,B)) then all temp tables will be created under this user A (lets consider) and data will be inserted to the target table that is present in user B
If staging is different than target ( Two database,two user (A1,A2), not recommended architecture) then all temp tables will be created under this user A1 (database A1) and data will be inserted to the target table that is present in user A2 (database A2)
If source,staging,target will under one database then No LKM is required,IKM is sufficient to load the data into target. Specifically for this you can see one example given by Craig.
