Stupidly i reset my ipod while it was updating ios6. it now wont come up when i plug it into my computer and just presents a white screen all the time. is there anything i can do?

I reset my ipod using the home and sleep buttons while my ipod was in the middle of installing ios6 it now will not respod to being connected to my computer and only presents a white screen. is there anything i can do?

Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

It doesn't say anything. It runs through the sync process like normal and tells me all of the songs that it's synking. But then when it says I can disconnect it, nothing actually synked.

I have a theory. You don’t want to controll your car, you want to controll somebody who is driving the car. Volvo XC 60 is a nice family car, usually used by married men between age of 35-45, probably with small children, so it’s very unlikely that you want to controll your teanage kid, mainly because probably even if you would give him/her to drive the car in the neighborhoud, I don’t think that he/she would be „several hundred miles away”… If your child is not young teneage anymore, and he/she has his/her own life, but you want to control him/her, that is sick… So I am convinced that you want to controll your husband who probably travelling often! My ipod 5 touch has just been stolen today. I dont know if the "find my ipod touch" is on or not and im not sure if i have the number. is there ANYTHING i can do to find it?

The only way to track or take additional actions is if Find my iPod was enabled. Go to http://icloud.com, click Find my iPhone; if it doesn't list your iPod then it wasn't enabled.

Your USB ports do not supply enough power to charge the iPad. That is normal and expected behavior. The iPod does not require nearly the same amount of power to recharge so it will work from your computer. Use the power adapter and plug into a wall socket to charge the iPad.
Are you sure that iTunes doesn't see the iPad? If you are running iTunes 11, from the menu at the top go to View>Show Sidebar. After the sidebar is enabled - do you see the iPad under the Devices heading in the sidebar?

After at least 15 minutes, if the display turns on and…
The home screen appears, the device should be working. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen: . Then disconnect the device from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears even after the iPod touch has charged for at least 20 minutes: See the "iPod touch displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or low-battery image appears , continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.

I'd say your best bet is to try to regain access to your old account. Call 1-800-MY-APPLE, and ask to talk to the account security team. Hopefully they can verify you are the account owner, and then reset the password for you.

Anything that was on the phone is already gone. You have no choice but to restore. If you were backing up and syncing the phone on a regular basis, you should be able to restore your backup with minimal data loss.

Depends on the damage. The battery came loose in my iPhone. When Apple opened the phone to redo the glue they discovered the speakers were also loose. Apple replaced the phone.
If the glue was properly bonded or had some other flaw Apple will replace the device if the device is still under warranty.
