Style Rendering toolbar: link states buttons.

Hi,
I do not manage to display a link rendered according to a pseudo-class using those link states buttons. Any help?

Since you don't seem to have an example page to look at, let's do this backwards.
Create a test page in Dreamweaver. Add this code inside the body (in Code View):

<p><a href="#">Curabitur quam</a>. </p>
</div>
Add this style sheet to the head of your page:
<style type="text/css">
.fubar a:hover, .fubar a:focus {

</style>
Now in Design View, click the ":h" icon on the style rendering toobar. If you followed the instructions, your links will both turn red. If you need further help, you really need to post a link to a test page on your web server.

I understand the style rendering toolbar was removed in CC.
Is there some replacement feature I'm not finding that will display a page as styled for print? (Besides using the browser print preview?)
If not: Will a replacement be added to CC 'Real Soon Now', as the saying goes?

Is there a way to link state buttons?

Hi, I'd like to know if there's a way to link state buttons to activate their hover state together. For instance, when the link 'Pioneers of Design' is hovered over it turns red and links to another page. The yellow image loses the 25% white opaque screen on it when it's in hover state and also links to the same page. Both are in separate state buttons. Is there a way to link the two so that when I hover over the image the screen disappears but also turns the pioneers link red at the same time and vice versa when hovering over the pioneers link? I know both can be put into a state button together but that means that the massive space in between the image and text would create the hover state as apposed to only occurring when hovering over one or the other. Also, I don't know what would happen to this because the text links stay fixed when scrolling and the image links do not. Is there a way to do what I'm talking about? Thanks.
I have the latest version of Muse CC 2014

There's no built-in way to do disjointed rollovers, but if you look it up on the web, you should be able to understand how the respective CSS rules work and implement them as custom HTML or after publishing the site.

Lost CSS style rendering

Help!
I've read the FAQ regarding toggling CSS styles as I've lost/inadvertanly switched off the detail in the design pane leaving me only with the code. This was the advice:
Sometimes, though, your CSS looks completely wrong or isn't displayed at all. Usually, this happens if you have accidentally turned off the display of styles, or if you have selected an option other than Screen Media Type in the View > Style Rendering submenu or the Style Rendering toolbar. Make sure Display Styles and Screen Media Type are selected (they should have checkmarks against them like this:
However, I'm running an old version - DreamWeaver MX 2004 v 7.0.1 - and it doesn't have Style Rendering etc. under the View tag. Please tell me what I must do. (Don't say upgrade!)

More than one style for a single link state?

Is it possible to define more than one style for a single link state?
For example, I would like a link in the footer of my master page to be smaller than the links that appear in the body of my topics. I want to retain behavior, and simply change the point size.
I can't simply hand format in Design mode, because my link is within a script. Or, am I missing something easy here?

I'm pleased to say I figured out how to change the formatting of a hyperlink embedded within a script.
Within the script, I used a var string to reproduce the text in my link. Then I used another var to change the string size.
So, here's the part of my script that produces what I'm after:

var str = 'Was this information helpful?';
var mailDisplay = str.fontsize("1");
Upon generation of the CHM, the script trumps the CSS. It's a beautiful thing.

Style EDIT LINKS pencil button in top Navigation

On the top navigation of my site I've styled the menu with CSS and a custom master page. However the 'EDIT LINKS' pencil button is an image coming from spcommon.png as an HTML <img> and it is an incorrect color.
How to do I change this image or replace the spcommon.png with my own version?

The icons in SharePoint sites are generated via sprites, you could type the url in the picture in your original post :

It will display a picture as below, and different themes have different pictures like this.
You could use SharePoint Color Palette Tool to generate theme as you like. Then import the file into the Themes Library :

How to link several 4 state buttons to an one image area?

I've created a page with several 4-state buttons. I am trying to have a specific image show up in a target area when a specific button is selected. When i go into my states palette, all of the buttons show up in states 2-4. I can set this up easily to be roll-overs but i really want them to be buttons and i can't figure out how to get one image for each button. HELP!

Button symbols are self-contained so it may be a little trickier to do this. Try adding a hotspot on top of each button symbol and create the disjoint effect from the hotspot, rather than the button symbol slice.
NOTE: You may have to put the rollover effect on a 5th, 6th, 7th etc.. state.
You could also try opening the Behaviors panel and adding the effect directly from the panel, using the button slice.

QUESTION: How does one suppress relative links with CSS in
print-style rendering mode?

The following is a quotation taken from a webpage hosted by
Communication MX (see source page below).

The State Button Widget was introduced in November 2013 release. The new updates for Muse are automatically offered to the users when the updates are available. If for any reason, your muse was not updated, please close it and open it again. You should get the update muse prompt.
If the video you mentioned in your post is about something else, please provide us the video link and we'll further look into it.

Active State Button

I can't get my movie track button to change 'states'. It works fine on a computer. On a DVD deck it's impossible to know when a track has been selected. You can't tell when to push 'Enter' on the remote. Of course on a Mac, it's just point the mouse and click to make the track play.
My button is the movie track, dragged and dropped, so video track icon is also a button. I have tried to assign colors on the Normal, Selected and Active settings, but it doesn't show colors in the Simulator.
How do I get the button (movie track) to change when it is selected?

I changed my workflow to make the active state work. I added a button to the menu and then linked the button to the track media. When done that way, the buttons could display an active state for selecting a track using a deck remote.
I consulted my training DVD from macprovideo.com.

Can't click on links and buttons from verizon 8330 curve

I am currently working on developing a web system using HTML & PHP. I have it up and running in a development environment, but when I look at it from my blackberry (Verizon 8330 Curve) I can see the page, but I can't click on anything. (Links or Buttons) I asked a coworker to try from his phone (Verizon Storm) and he didn't have any trouble. So my question is what am I doing wrong where nothing is appearing as usable? I wanted to make sure that my coding wasn't the problem so I created a test page and had the same problem. Below is the code I am using from the test page.

Cannot find object state button

I am having trouble finding the object state button on my inDesign cs6 for some reason.
I do see the interactive menu, but there isn't an object state button.
Anyone have any idea what is going on?

Haven't used PSE5 in a very long time. I don't remember what version of Elements we added Layer Masks to, but I do remember that older versions didn't have this feature, and it is possible that 5 falls under this category. State Button behaving like Photoshop Smart Object?

I've created a State button which I have copied across three panels in a tabbed panel widget. I assigned a link (file download) to the first button before duplicating the button across the next two panels. When I change any one instance of the link, the other two change with it. Is this the expected behaviour?

Hi David,
This is not the expected behavior. I have created the state button and applied a link to it and then paste it to the other tabs and then change the links and it seems to be working fine. I will recommend that you try to recreate another button and see if the same thing happens with the other button too.

How do I create more than one CSS style for text links?

Just like the title says, I need help with creating more than one CSS text link style in Dreamweaver CS4. For instance, I want the navigation on the website I'm building to have a different text link style than a link in some part of the body copy. I've been playing with Dreamweaver for a while and can't find any way to do this. If it's even possible to do this, I would really appreciate any help.

Yes it is possible but as you have failed to provide a valid link to your site, I will tell you in general Terms:
1) First create a class or an ID to to your Nav bar;
2) Now style your navbar in such a way that these styles will only apply to your nav bar. To do this, you start your style by doing something like this:

ul#navigation a {.........}
ul#navigation a:hover {.........}
ul#navigation li {.........}
your html code might look like this:
