Sub menu not getting focus/highlighted

Hi,
I am facing issue where Sub Menu dosent get highlighed
I have followed following steps
I have created a new customized page.
Then I have created a function for this customized page
I have included this function in Menu
So when i navigate to the desired menu,i can see my sub menu.
Once i click on the sub menu my page gets displayed.
Only issue I am facing is that My sub menu is not getting highlighted (When i click
on Oracle Sub menus they do get highlighted)
Do i need to set some attributes at PageLayout ? Any clues ?

Within your processRequest, please call pageContext.resetMenuContext and pass your menu function name.

Tab not getting focus on left-click after suspend in Windows 7 64-bit.

When I left-click on a tab in Firefox 4 rc 2 after my pc wakes up from suspend in Windows 7 64-bit the tab is not getting focus. I have to use the hotkeys in order to move to that tab. My mouse works fine in other programs.

How to make a JScrollPane not getting Focus?
When i tab out from a textfield inside a scroll pane focus is going to ScrollPane .And if i press tab once more then only focus is going to other textField which is outside the scrollpane.
For me when i press tab from a text field inside a scrollPane ,i should go to textfield out side the scroll pane.

I've the same problem, that I have to double click on tab
to step from a textfield with a scrollpane to the next textfield in my panel.
I tried to implement a FocusListener on my JScrollPane, but without success.
Can you tell me in detail how to implement this listener ?

Recently I upgraded my Application with Java 1.7 (using jdk-7u17-windows-i586) from java 1.6. Swing component JTextfeilds used to get focus when using java1.6. But after up-gradation to Java 1.7 in few scenarios JTextFeild is not getting focus and I am unable to do any thing with keyboard. Again I have to click on some button with Mouse and need to keep focus using mouse in the textfeild.
OS : Windows
Used Java Version : jdk-7u17-windows-i586

Toolbar icons are not getting focus

The buttons on the toolbar are not getting focus when I move the mouse over the buttons. I am facing this problem if I use JRE 1.5.0_15 but it is working fine in JRE 1.6.0_6.
But I need solution in JRE1.5.0_15.
Can anybody please help me out is there any work around in JRE 1.5.0_15.

I found the solution, We need to change
some coding style by giving conditions for particular version , foe example we should make changes in color initialisation. Insteatof color.red , use [RGB,1,0,0] and many.........

[OpenBox] Window not getting focus if skip_taskbar is set to 'yes'

I have bound gmrun to ALT-F2. When I have skip_taskbar set to yes in rc.xml, gmrun does not get focus. This is quite annoying as I have manually click on it to get the focus.

I have the same problem, but, and this part is really bad, I also mostly don't have this issue.
So I can't help except to say I run OB 3.4.7.2 and [sometimes!] have the same issue as you.

Premier Elements 9 - DVD Main Menu not showing navigation highlights

Hi All,
Apologies if this discussion / question appears twice. I seemd to lose the original and did not think it had been posted.
New to Adobe and just started using Premier Elements 9 for a basic DVD project.
I managed to work out importing, editing, transitions, adding soundtrack etc and got to the DVD Menu stage where everything seemed to come together.
Once i had burned to DVD i checked it worked on the PC which it did but when i tried in a number of DVD players, there was an issue with Main Menu marker navigation.
This project has a main and four scene menus plus an 'Extras' marker i added to the Main Menu pointing toward Stills..
On all the Scene menus, i can see a clear highlight dot move from scene to scene as i navigate with the remote, showing where I am as you would expect.
On the Main Menu however, where i have Play Movie, Scenes and Extras markers, there is no sign of any dot or highlight to tell you which of these you are currently on so its a lottery as to which you get when navigating with a remote from the Main Menu.
I am pretty sure this is user error and if anyone has thoughts of what i have done or not done when i set up the DVD Menu section maybe, i would very much appreciate it.
A little additional info is apart from adding the 'Extras' button to the main menu i imported a still image/Logo to show up in the middle of the menu screen and added a sound clip to the main and all the 'Scene menus.
Whether that has anything to do with it i don't know.

My sincere apologies for not getting back to you sooner. This project has been above and beyond my day to day work as an integrator to the Post Production area and everything went a little nuts over the last few weeks.
I wanted to let you know that I was successful in the end, thanks to your input.
I ended up substituting the ‘Fun in the Sun’ with’ Memory Box’ HD under ‘Memories’ and this was the magic solution.
I got bogged down trying to lengthen rolling end credits and lengthening a title plate that headed the Extras but I left as is in the end.
The main thing was the menus worked just fine after the change so I won’t go near Fun in the Sun again if I do another sometime.
I kept it to NTSC widescreen and it looked fine.

In FIM datasource creation,model name dropdown menu not getting populated

When we try to create a new datasource in FIM it asks for a default model name. The default model name drop down menu is not getting populated by the model name. Please suggest what could be the possible solution for the same.

There are 3 other things to check if the PCM schema is on a Oracle database :
From FIM server :
1.a. Locate the "ojdbc6.jar" file located in the \jdbc\lib subfolder of your Oracle client installation folder and copy it.
1.b. Paste the copied file in C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat6\webapps\fim\WEB-INF\lib folder.
Note: This procedure is mandatory for an Oracle repository. Adding the path to the classpath variable is not
sufficient.
2. From the Tomcat Management Console properties, you need to add the path to the location where the tnsnames.ora file is hosted. You add this information on the Java page of the Apache Tomcat Properties dialog box under "Java options", for example, -Doracle.net.tns_admin=C:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\NETWORK\ADMIN
3. From the parameter "Net service name" filed for PCM datastore in FIM, make sure that the name matches exactly (case-sensitive) with the name of the service set into the Tnsnames.ORA file

Sub Order not getting created

Hi All,
           i am debuggin a code which is creating SUB ORDER (iw36) through call transaction method.
The transaction is filling the superior oder ,but after OK CODE it doesnt navigate to the next screen, instead it shows a message log, without any messages.
In the debugging mode I could notice that it fails at the point where FM CO_ZF_ORDER_LOCK_MULTI is called in SAPLCOIH. The parameter 'NOT_LOCKED' is having 2 records, as a result of which the FM CM_F_ANALYSIS is getting called which displays the log.
Please guide me in understading why the sub order is not getting created.

1)                 The Work center does not exist , I checked it in IR02..
2)                 I created the sub order manually , but it works fine. There is no error when creating manually.. But whne it is called from the program it takes a wrong entry for Workcenter that does not exist. But when I change it to the existing Workcenter it proceeds further.
3) I want to know where in the program the KTEXT is being populated, as it is taking an entry that does not exist in the superior order, it is a new entry.

Custom TextInput itemEditor not getting focus.

I have an AdvancedDataGrid that has a custom itemEditor on an amounts field. If I do an inline textInput itemEditor everything works fine, but if I separate out the textInput itemEditor into it's own component then when I click on the amounts column it doesn't seem to get focus. What happens is I click once and it appears like the text box has appeared, but there is not cursor, so I can't start typing my amount. I need to click a second time in the cell for the cursor to appear.
Here are my datagrid columns:

I attempted to do as you said using the following code:

I also tried adding an event handler to my renderer to capture the focus in event and try the same thing:

Swf Not getting focus in Opera

           I did embed an swf file in html.The file is working fine in all browsers except opera(all versions).
I am facing problem that flash didn't get focus when application initially load.User has to click on page.
Then the application works fine.

Mail sub menu not woring in OWA 2013

Hi,
I have an issue with OWA on a new Exchange 2013 CU6 server running Server 2012 R2. When I try to browse to Options>Settings>Mail the page is blank. All functionality in OWA seems to work fine except for the "Mail" sub menu. When I looked
at the source code of the page I can see that it points to epc/customize/Messaging.aspx. When I then tried to open this aspx file by browsing to the path https://localhost:444/ecp/Customize/messaging.aspx it is blank but not when I do this for one of the other
options such as Calendar.
Anyone came across this issue before?

Please login Outlook client to check this problem. If Outlook works well, it may cause by IIS or the web.config file.
Since we can logon OWA, so it not caused by IIS. However, let us try to force restart IIS. If the issue due to IIS, I think all the other virtual directories will not work fine, such as EWS, ECP. If OWA works fine ever, please try
to recover this folder.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\ClientAccess\Owa
After that, restart IIS.

Why my textfield can not get focus?

I put a textfield on the first tab of a tabbed panel. I need this textfield to get the focus when I open the first tab. I tried to use grabfocus() method in the constructor of class, but it does not work. Does anybody know why? and how can I solve it?

Modal Dialog does not get focus on first click

Hi,
Identified an issue in Windows Safari 5 with Modal Dialog boxes. The below is issue.
When a Message box (Validation message) is displayed to the user the control is not getting transferred to the message box instead it still lies with the parent page.
For Example:
A list box is visible with values in parent page, when you click delete, the confirmation message pops up.
On the mouse click on confirmation message, the focus would be changed to an item in the list box of the parent page and that particular item gets deleted instead of the selected item.
Understanding:
-When a Modal dialog box is displayed control is not passed to the Dialog box .
-Once the user click mouse once then the control is passed to the Dialog box.
-The second mouse click only the action is performed.

Work-around: Click on the "title bar" of the modal dialog box. You now have control. If you click other areas of the modal dialog before clicking the title bar, it will usually register behind the box.
I think Apple forgot the code to 'select the modal dialog' after 'displaying it', which is why the work-around works perfectly.
It's a common bug that hasn't been fixed yet in 5.x that did not exist in 4.x. I would submit a bug report and hope they fix it in the next update.

Positioning sub menu not correct in IE

The site is: jdanielfamily.org
The sub menu is positioned on top of the main menu in IE, work correctly in Firefox and Safari.
I have ul.MenuBarVertical ul set the same way as I have in other sites that work correctly.
What an I doing wrong?

Just found my mistake.
ul.MenuBarVertical: Width was set at 9 px, changed to 9 em. Works correct now, thanks.
