Sub Order and Super Order - Operations and date in IW49N

Hi Experts,
Please explain in brief the scenario of Sub Order concept
I am trying to use this scenario if we couldn't able to perform number of activities which is in Superior order
I am copiying those activities in Sub Order and deleting those activities from Superior order
And i am changing the date in sub order which is in future (i.e in main order date is 07.06.2014 and in sub order i am chnaging the date is 070.07.2014)
It means further activities i will do in next month date.
Correct if i am wrong
And please explain the effect in report IW49N , Sub Number , Sub Operation , Superior Activity not showing and
Sub Order is showing in Order and my main order showing in Super Order
For Super Order Activity not able to seen.
Please help which report we can refer to check where we can see activities for both orders along with date.
Thanks & Regards,
Abhishek Patel

Sami,
What issue?  Those results are perfectly acceptable under certain business scenarios.
Your sched start/finish implies that your routing has no duration being calculated during the schedule process.  If this is your issue, look at the various forumulas attached to the scheduling tab of your work center(s)(CR03).

  • Iw72 service order + Link b/w operations and PRTs

    Hello Friends,
So here is my problem. In transctin iw72 ( service order ) there is a tab called "operations". In tab operatinos I can attatch Resourse / tool ( table AFFH ( PRT assignment data for the work order )  and structure AFFHD (Structure of the PRTs in orders). So I can do this all manually, and after pressing save, the PRTs is attatched to the operation. ( pls note I want to attatch a documet as PRTs to the operations)
Now I want to do this via any FM or BAPI, but unfortunatelly I was not able to find any such bapi, ( I mean, I have find bapi to create the operation, and I also find the bapi to create the document, and now I have to find the bapi which store the PRTs ( in my case document ) to that operation ( or order ).
In table AFFH, I have reference to the order, but not to the operation, so actually using this table I can attatch the PRTs to one order, but my req is to attatch to the operation.
So I debug the standard code, to find out how they are doing, but could not find much, any tip how I can make it more simple to find out, what is going on in starndard code.

  • Can multiple 1394 Controllers be switched in and out of operation and configured correctly?

The test system I'm working on has a 'core' VXI System using a Slot-0 1394 Controller that is always powered up but also requires other systems to be switched in and out as required under the control of LabVIEW 7.1 software. The interface to all of the VXI systems is made via PCI Firewire interface to the single controlling PC.
The test system needs to be able to perform various sequences of actions using multiple peripheral systems but always with the 'core' system powered up. An example sequence would be:
    1) Power up the 'core' VXI system and communicate with the instruments
    2) Power up  peripheral VXI system '1' and communicate with the instruments
    3) Power down  peripheral VXI system '1'
    4) Power up  peripheral VXI system '2' and communicate with the instruments
    5) Power down  peripheral VXI system '2'
    6) Power down the 'core' VXI system
In order to simulate the above sequence of actions in a test environment I have two VXI Chassis systems and three Slot-0 Controllers which I have attempted to use as follows:
    1) Power up VXI Chassis 1 and communicate with the instruments
    2) Power up peripheral VXI Chassis 2 and communicate with the instruments
    3) Power down  VXI Chassis 2 and replace the Slot-0 Controller
    4) Power up VXI Chassis 2 with the new Slot-0 Controller and communicate with the instruments
    5) Power down VXI Chassis 2
    6) Power down VXI Chassis 1
I have registered all of the Slot-0 Controllers in MAX beforehand and they are persistent and appear as VXI systems '0'-'2' in the GUI.
I have run resman programmatically in LabVIEW 7.1 (using NI-VXI 3.3.1 and the suggested patch) using a command line of "resman -b'n' -o" (where 'n' is the system number) in order to run the executable silently (which will be required for the completed test system). Resman is run after the power up of each chassis (for that VXI system only) in steps 1 and 2 and works ok at these stages. When resman is run after the power up in step '4' however, resman crashes along with LabVIEW.
As an extra test I tried just attempting to 'find' each of the systems using the 'VISA find resource' VI after the power-up of each VXI system but without performing any other actions (i.e. running resman or communicating with the instruments). For steps 1 and 2 this also works ok but in step 4 this again results in a fatal crash in LabVIEW.
Could you tell me if these crashes are to be expected or if I am doing something wrong?

    Hi Lee,
In the VXI-1394 User Manual we say that you should always have VXI unit powered up before the PC. I think this would go for peripheral VXI units as well. For this system to work stabley I would have thought that you need to power up the peripheral VXI chassis, then the core then the PC.  The way you are doing it at the moment you are effectively replacing one 1394 controller with another and I don't think the PC will be able to handle the references to them in this manner.

  • Routing Component Allocation and Assignment of Operation/Seq to components

    Hi everyone,
We are creating a Order Bom (uses variant configuration) and Sales order routing using CU51.
When in routing component allocation screen using CA02 , we can assign the operation and sequence to the components manually. Requirement is to automate this manual process and assign the operation and sequence to components based on master routing ( template created manually). I have not been able to find any objects (BAPI, FM) which will do this. I see that when operation/sequence is assigned manually to components, the records are created in PLMZ table. But I have not been able to find any objects (BAPI, FM) which will creates records in PLMZ table that can be used to automate this w/o worrying about loosing the integrity of data. If no objects are available , what other information I should make sure that I update along with update to PLMZ table. Going through the recording, I don't see BDC an option for this. Has anyone done this before ? Any ideas on whats the best way to automate this ?
    Thanks
    Raghu

    Hello Munukala Rao,
I m also stuck up with same problem  so please share code your BDC code .

  • Date Mismatch of Planned Orders and Production Orders in APO & ECC

    Dear APO Experts
When i am performing /SAPAPO/CCR , we are getting errors for Few Materials
    Please kindly advice.
    Following error for Planned Orders:
    Order 0026037355 difference for receipt date:    06.02.2012 01:05:53(APO) <-> 04.02.2012 01:05:53
    Message no. /SAPAPO/CIF161
    Diagnosis
Order 0026037355 for material yyyy has a different receipt date in SAP APO and SAP R/3:
Receipt date in SAP APO: 06.02.2012 01:05:53
    Receipt date in SAP R/3: 04.02.2012 01:05:53
    Procedure
This data inconsistency can be rectified by choosing Send to R/3.
Note that the receipt date of the primary product is compared without taking into account the goods receipt processing time between SAP APO and SAP R/3.
Note the following if this message is issued for production/process orders:
In SAP APO, if the receipt date of the primary product deviates from the end date of the last activity of the order (for example, due to an offset or scheduling at the end of a fixed block), the receipt date always identifies this as inconsistent. You cannot rectify inconsistencies of this type by using the reconcile provided in the CIF compare/reconcile function.
In this case, you should deactivate the receipt date comparison. Alternatively, you can activate the order end date comparison if the primary product is assigned to the final operation.
    Procedure for System Administration
You can use the business add-in /SAPAPO/CIF_DELTA3 Enhancements Comparison Report to deactivate individual comparisons.
In SAP Note 645597, you can find example coding with which you can activate the order end date comparison.

    Hi,
Kindly check the SAP note mentioned on the message. Or you may reconcile the data by selecting the "send to APO" or "send to ECC" button on thhe CCR.

  • Routing number of operations and reference operation  in the order

    Hi experts,
If anyone knows about Routing number of operations and reference operation  in Maintenance order , please explain.
is it used for maintenance order? if yes, please mention the path from which I can see or note the number generated by the system as Routing number of operations or operation task list no. or reference operation
    Regards,

    Hello,
Routing number of operations in the order"(field-->AUFPL) of the order at table AFKO, using order number. Find the Operation counter number of the operation at table AFVC using "Routing number of operations in the order".
From above we can fetch the Operation Level data of Order by using the Routing number of operations in the order"(field>AUFPL)  .Routing number of operations in the order>which solely identity of the Operation for your order after creation of order it is created this number.

  • User exit for order operation and internal assignment (SAPLCY18)

    Dear all,
I am currently facing the problem below, which I have posted in PLM forum. However, I have been advised to ask in EAM forum, since probably my problem is more EAM-related.
The problem currently facing is related to PM order operations. The customer's requirement is to use operations and to include the personnel numbers involved. For this solution, our proposal is to have the operations and within internal operation data to use the tab requirement assignments in order to include the personnel numbers. Also at this level, the client expects to maintain the the 'hr' (work requirements) for each personnel. For example there are used 2 personnel ids with hr requirements of 2hrs and 3 hrs respectively. Let me mention that in the operation screen, the hr requirements are initially defined equal to 1 hr.
In the above case the message "The work of all the splits is greater than the work in the operation" apperas, since 1hr 5hrs. The question is if there is any way (user exit, badi) to update the work requirements in the operation with the sum of the internal assignment data.
Program SAPLCY18 may be help, although I have not found the work around.
    More explanatory details to help:
The combination using Work-Number of capacities-Duration and the Calculation key is already used, however the requirement is to use specific personnel numbers. SAP, as far as I am aware, allows you to define personnel numbers within internal operations.
TAB Requirements assignements is available as long as in the operations main tab you have completed for the selected line the values Work-Number of capacities-Duration and Calculation key. Thus, in TAB Requirements assignments you can input the personnel numbers and the work of each one.
The question is if we can use the Requirements Assignments TAB, using the button internal in the operations tab in order to define the personnels involveld and according to the work (hrs) to update the respective field of the operation (otherwise let's say to update the duration field for each personnel id and automatically the operation respective duration field to be updated).
    Your feedback is highly appreciated,
    thank you in advance,
    Bou.Lis

    PeteA,
thank you for your response. I am actually looking for such a development solution (more-or-less I know that it is not possible using standard SAP customizing) but unfortunately I have not yet found such a user exit or BADI that could help solving the problem facing.
Do you have any idea of such a development tool to use?
    Thansk and regards,
    Bou.Lis

  • Purchase orders and their open order quantity with their due delivery date

    hi friends
i need to build a query where i can see the purchase orders and their open order quantity and their respective due delivery dates.i have never done this.
ME2M serves my requirement upto little but i cannot see the delivery dates in that report.
please help mein finding the steps involved in building the query.
    Thanks
    Alahari

Deliver date is available in table EKET field EINDT.
Use table : EKKO ,EKPO, EKET.

  • How to join two tables and get the supply delivery date next to order?

So there are two tables. One has customer's order no, ordered date, order quantity, available quantity and code of article-
The other table comes form supply side where we have supply order no, article number, ordered qty, and delivery date.
We keep stock so this can not be MOT (made to order) system.
What i need is correct date of arrival to appear next to cusotmers spoecirfic order. The older cusotmers order get's the parts first, second oldest order is next in line etc.
    here is any example
    customer's order
    ref order
    art. code
    ordered qty
    available qty
    order date
    1809202491
    700497
    60
    0
    3.7.2014
    1809200528
    700497
    13
    0
    20.6.2014
    1809198640
    700497
    7
    0
    9.6.2014
    supply order
    supply order
    art. code
    qty orderd
    date of arrival
    4501243378
    700497
    50
    4.8.2014
    4501263437
    700497
    20
    6.10.2014
There is actually a 3rd "table" and that sort of connects the two and that is stock on hand per art. code.
The main issue is that stock is assigned to purchase orders only when it actually arrives in the warehouse.
A human can easilly connect the dates of when the stock will arrive and quantities with correct customer's order. In this case the firts order will get 50 pcs in August while 10 pcs will remain on backorders. The missing 10 pcs Will arrive in October. The second order will get 10 pcs in october and 3 will remain on backorders with no delivery date. While the third customer orders does not have a delivery date.
So how to make the SAP do this calculations and display the arrival date next to date of customer's order?

I checked the instructions as i do not have access to this part. It seem this is a query. We had issues with queries in the past as not all codes from orders would appear in them. They never found the reason why that is happening.
However, I think the main issue is that the information here is not connected and is separately provided for supply and for sales. So i doubt it can be connected in this query.
edit: as you can see the only connection is stock on hand.
and total number of various items we have is close to 100.000 of various article codes.

  • Delivery date and sales order creation date

    Dear all
Can you please explain the relation between delivery date and sales order date. In my case i can create delivery with delivery date as before the sales order date... how it is possible that i can create delivery before the sales order date.??
    Please explain.........
    Warm Regards
    Inder Pal

    Hi,
Sales order date: Date on which the customer officially places an order to your company.
All the commitment and product allocation counting starts with reference to this date.
e.g. customer says that the goods are required from 20 days of placing order, then from this date the calculation starts.
Delivery date: Date on which after the system goes through material availability date, replenishment time, calculates the date on which physically the goods can be delivered to the customer.
e.g. customer orders 100 qty of material X in 15 days, you will hve to check this delivery date through availability check which can be done in sales order and also delivery.
payment date is based on this delivery date.
    regards,
    Siddharth.

  • I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 Plus and the delivery date now says October 14th. The point of the pre-order is to get it on release day (or shortly thereafter). Can I go to a Verizon store to pick up my new phone on release day?

I pre-ordered an iPhone 6 Plus and the delivery date now says October 14th. The point of the pre-order is to get it on release day (or shortly thereafter). Can I go to a Verizon store to pick up my new phone on release day?

I'm not sure that answers the question Candice.
I'm in the same situation.  I was up trying to get on the Verizon page at 11:55, kept getting the ECPD error.  When finally got through, the Silver Iphone Plus 64 showed arrival of 9-19.  At every step of the process, it seemed that I was ordering a phone that would arrive on day1.  At no point did it say this was an estimate.  At no point did it say it might change.  In a big yellow box, it said "9-19".  Ordered it, then got confirmation email stating it should arrive at 9-19.   Seems like all should be good, right?  Order site said 9-19, I've got a confirmation email saying 9-19, done and done.
Then I check the website, and suddenly it changed to 10-14?!?!?!?  I feel like this was a bait and switch.  I was able to pickup an iphone5 in a local store on launch day, and would not have locked myself into a preorder through Verizon if I had known this would happen!
So, that leads back to the original questions.  Lets assume I walk into a Verizon store on 9-19, and there is an available iphone6 plus just sitting there, can I either get that phone as fulfillment of my pre-order.  Or, cancel my pre-order and buy that phone right then and there?

  • How to fetch post goods issue date and sales order creation date

    Hi All,
How to find out the difference between SD Sales Order Item Creation Date and final Post goods issue Date. I would like to know how to fetch those dates and what is the relationship between the tables from which i will get the dates.
Please let me know the solution .
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Sales order creation date is when u raise a sales order in favor of the customer using VA01.......using ATP logic system purposes the material availability date....
after saving ur sales order...when u raise the Delivery using VL01n  w.r.t to OR...than u have to perform picking ....In the picking Tab...specify the amount to be picked than press Post Good Issue....means the goods left the company premises ..
You can the fetch the values using tables-  Use T code   SE12  or SE16
    Vbak-----order header
    Vbap-----order item
    Vbek-----order schedule line
    Likp-----Delivery header
    Lips----Delivery item

  • Sales order and purchase order date management

    Hi all,
I am new to SAP so please pardon the question in advance if this is a basic one.
I need a little help with purchase order and sales order dates.  Our supplier runs SAP and our two systems are tied together. Currently my supplier is not updating their promise date because this is how we are tracking late shipments. However, this means ETA/ETD dates are incorrect.  Is there a way for us to keep track of late shipments and still maintain accurate ETD/ETA dates? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

Firstly, thank you Edgar and Rahul for taking the time to answer my question.
Apologies guys I should have provided more information in my initial post.
Our parent company is also our supplier.  We cut a purchase order, notify them of the purchase order and in turn they cut a sales order.  My supplier (parent company) is stating if they update the "first date" column in their sales order (which would in turn populate a correct ETA date) we will lose the ability to track late shipments.
To answer your question Edgar I am referring to the sales document. It is my understanding my supplier is only modifying the "First Date".  Are there several date field in a sales document we can use to 1. track original promise date 2. maintain accurate ETA?
From a "customer" standpoint I need to be able to view both dates so that I know when I can expect to actually receive product and if that product is/was late.
    Thanks!
