Subcription of Services.

Hi Experts,
Can we disable the Subscription feature in Discussions ? If so, how can we disable , is there any privision like giving permissions ?

The KM standard configuration comes with two preconfigured variants of the subscription service:
● Subscription (uses standard event mapping of low-level events to events relevant for subscriptions)
● subscription_collaboration (uses a special event mapping for subscriptions to discussions).
The subscription service enables users to keep track of changes to documents and folders. It informs users about changes to subscribed resources by sending notifications. A variant of the subscription service, "subscription_collaboration", is used for managing subscriptions in collaborative applications such as discussions. It uses a different event mapping than the standard subscription service. You associate an event mapping with a subscription service indirectly by assigning it to the same repositories that the subscription service is assigned to.
To check or change the configuration of the subscription service, choose System Administration >> System Configuration >> Knowledge Management >> Content Management >> Repository Services >> (Show Advanced Options) >> Subscription Service in the Configuration iView.
!!! Note that you need to register the subscription service with every repository in which you want to use subscriptions. The subscription_collaboration service has to be registered with the repository that contains the collaboration data.

We are running on CRM 8.9 PT8.49 on AIX.
issue is IB- asynchronus outbound oneway message is stuck in working status,It ie. due to this all the other messages are queue in New status. In operation instace it going done , but in pubclication contract it is stucked in working. I am able to ping the remote node.
we are having separate appserver domain for IB, 8 publication,and subcription handler services are running,including four psappsrv.
I just restarted pubsub services, queues. and message is also active. this is what i found in logs for this queue

Subcription or publication for service notification from CRM to R/3

is there any subscription or publication available in order to send service notification from CRM to R/3??

Service notifications fall under the one-order concept. if it's possible to send the data, then it's with the business transactions subscription: assign it to the r/3 site and see what happens.

Data Driven Subscription Missing in Reporting Services Manager under Subcriptions

I am attempting to create my first data driven subscription.
However, the 'New Data-driven Subscription'
button is missing from my management view under Subscriptions for the report I am using.
I have verified that I have the 'Content Manager' and 'System Administrator' roles associated with my login. Also, I am running on the necessary Enterprise Edition.
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.2
Please assist me in troubleshooting this matter as this is the only method I'm aware of for accessing data driven subscriptions.

According to your description, the 'New Data-driven Subscription' button is missing though you install SQL Server Enterprise edition.
In you scenario, it’s possible that you are running a different SKU of Report Server while the SQL Server is Enterprise edition. Please find the first log file within the Reporting Service logs, then search the keyword with “SKU” to find the actual edition
of the report server instance. For more information, please refer to this similar thread:

ITUNES SUBCRIPTION SERVICE

iTunes and iPod users genuinely don't understand what they are missing by not having a subscription service. It's an amazing ability to have. When you can fill up your Portable Audio Device, your like a kid in a candy store. In Napster2Go, I just click and drag 80% of the content available straight to my audio device in 192kbps WMA and I'm good to go. IT AMAZING PEOPLE. I wish you all could understand the COOLNESS of it.

Amazingly enough, and I fail to understand why this is not widely known, all music services that support subscription content also sale music. I know, it is an amazing concept. Thus you can OWN Music AND SUBCRIBE to Music. There is not one service out there that doesn't allow for both nor do either force both.
FOR PEOPLE UNWILLING TO USE A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE, THEY NEVER HAFT TO SEE THE SUBSCRIPTION SIDE OF THE SERVICE AS THE SOFTWARE WILL MASK/HIDE THAT PART AND THUS PEOPLE WILL BE LIMITED TO THE CURRENT AL-LA-CARTE PURCHASES. PEOPLE THAT SAY THEY DON'T WANT A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE DON'T HAFT TO SEE THE SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. PEOPLE WHO WANT A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE GET TO SEE IT'S THERE AND SUBSCRIBE AND TAKE ADVANTAGE. Can't activate products with valid creative cloud subcription.

Briefly:
i have a valid cloud subcription.. I dowloaded Adobe application manager. Signed in to Creative cloud website than clicked the link "download" which opened application manager and installed the selected product.
After i opened the installed product i tried to activate it. I clicked on the LIncense Sofware button and logged in with the adobe id. But it strted to asks for serial number. So i turned to adobe support live chat. After one hour of chat turned out the problem is that i have a Windows OS with hungarian language and application manager installed the hungarian version of photoshop which can t be activated with crative cloud subcription,
Is this true?
THey recommended me to install adobe products on an OS with english language and install english version adobe products. I don t think this ok!
Can anybody help me??? Or creative cloud subcription is waste og mony if i don t have english OS??

Hi ISSUESKFT,
When the Adobe Application Manager starts up, ou can click on your name that appears on the Adobe Application Manager and choose Preferences.
In preferences choose the magyar language and install the softwares.
If you want you can install them in English language and there should not be any issue in activating the products. Creative Cloud subsiption doesnot requires a Serial Number number, just sign-in is required.
Please try it and let me know what happens.

Receive asynchronous message from JMS topic over web service

is the best way of doing this ? Is there a portable (to other containers) way
of do this ? If not, is there a web logic specific way of doing this ?

So you expect clients to be receiving SOAP messages over HTTP? In this
case, the clients are really servers that are capable of servicing SOAP
requests, correct? And how about the senders: are they also using
SOAP/HTTP to send messages that are delivered to the receivers?
It should be possible to write this yourself using JMS not as the
transport, but as a mechanism for distributing the message to a set of
clients. You'll need to implement a Web Service for publishing to a
topic, an operation for registering an end point to recieve messages,
and an MDB (or other form of JMS subscriber) executing on the server to
relay the message to the end point.

Notification / Subcription in AQ

The following code is me trying to subcribe to the notifications that a new item has been queued. I can't get notification to the MessageAvailable subcriber. Any ideas?
I have confirmed that I have access to the queues (I created them) and that the subcription is valid but I'm not getting any notification. Other threads suggest that I set up the Consumer Name and Notification consumers but I'm getting no response.

Here's the code I wrote (some time ago now) which sets up the receiver. Obviously it is just a snippet - hopefully for those variables which are declared elsewhere, you can infer their meaning from their name. If not, just ask. This code works for both single-consumer and multi-consumer messages.
Doesn't look too different to your code, although note however my last comment - the event only fires when a message arrives on a queue, not when messages are already on it. So it looks like I am doing a poll as part and parcel of the set up.
The only other thing to say is that I am purely listening in this scenario, so my code is kept quite clean. I noticed your scenario was both sending and revceiving - I don't see why there'd be a problem with this but maybe it'd be a good idea to strip your code down to the bare minimum at least until you've figured out what is going on?

Auto subcription renewal

On 10 Dec 2013 I bought a one month basic service to try it out. Today I have just received an email to say that my subcription has been auto renewed for 12 MONTHS AS REQUESTED!!!
I cannot find ANYWHERE that I have requested this. I want to cancel this subscription and be reimbursed for the money Adobe has taken. How do I do this??

There will only be a charge if you get a 3G version and sign-up for a 3G service with a provider - and if you buy the 3G version you don't have to sign-up to a provider until if/when you need to use 3G on it. The wifi-only version doesn't have a monthly charge, it's wifi usage should be included in your current wifi/broadband service.
Some apps can also have subcriptions e.g. magazines, newspapers etc

Error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from Oracle BPEL..

Hi ,
We are facing some error while invoking a WS-Security secured web service from our BPEL Process on the windows platform(SOA 10.1.3.3.0).
For the BPEL process we are following the same steps as given in an AMIS blog : - [http://technology.amis.nl/blog/1607/how-to-call-a-ws-security-secured-web-service-from-oracle-bpel]
but sttill,after deploying it and passing values in it,we are getting the following error on the console :-
“Header [http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/ws/2004/08/addressing:Action] for ultimate recipient is required but not present in the message”
Any pointers in this regard will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the quick reply.
We've tried to call that web service from an HTML designed in Visual Studios with the same username and password and its working fine.
But on the BPEL console, we are getting the error as mentioned.
Also if you can tell me how to set the user name and password in the header of the parter link.I could not find how to do it.

Necessary Fields For Creation of Service PO of Order Type Relaese Order.

Dear Guru,
I have encountered an issue which i am trying to resolve...
My this requirment will seem little okward the way i am asking but i have no way...
The issue is I have to create a Service PO of Order type Release order (RO) using BAPI Function Module .BAPI_PO_CREATE1.
The service PO should be of multiple Item and services for particular line item should be multiple.
When I am creating this using ME21 or ME21N i am facing no issue.
But when i am using BAPI Function Module .BAPI_PO_CREATE1
i am getting following errors ;; The error which i am getting as below
T ID                   NUM MESSAGE
E BAPI                001 No instance of object type PurchaseOrder has been created. External reference:
E MEPO              000 Purchase order still contains faulty items
E SE                   029 Please maintain services or limits
E SE                   140 Service HIRING OF LCD: please specify unit of measure
But I am failing to findout in which field services or limits and unit of measurement have to maintain.
What are the necessary fields have to pass in Bapi import parameter and the table i am unable to findout.
Please show some way how to resolve this or give me some guideline to resolve this

Can you please elaborate how did you resolve the issue we are also facing same problem when we are trying to create the PO for service items through SRM it is throwing same error while creating the PO in SAP.
