Submenu Font Size in Spry Menu

I've created a drop down menu using the Horizontal Spry Menu Bar widget and have it looking exactly the way i need it to, except for one thing. I have rthe font size set for 14px, both in the ul.MenuBarHorizontal properties and the ul.MenuBarHorizontal a properties, but I want the font-size in the submenus to be smaller than in the top menu. How can i do that?!
(I've been fooling and fooling with it, and I've googled it and sarched the adobe forums but can't find any posts addressing this issue, other than here: http://foundationphp.com/tutorials/sprymenu/customize2.php - where David Powers says to be careful about changing font size and does not discuss this particular problem ! )
Attached is my stylesheet.
Thank you in advance

This is one way of doing it
     <li><a href="#" style="font-size: 9px;">Item 1.1</a></li>
You could also give the tag a class name and include the rule in your style sheet
     <li><a href="#" class="myFont">Item 1.1</a></li>

  • How to change font-size of application menu

    I want to change font-size of application menu. How?

    Hi,
    To change the font size of the Application menu, you need to change main.css file.
    at 'body, td, input, select, textarea' class.
    For more detail about main.css, please refer Bookshelf
    Siebel Developer's Reference at [8 Cascading Style Sheets].

    You can't. Any version before Creative Cloud does not support high-DPI displays and that is just that. If you cannot adjust the system's screen resolution and so on, then there is nothing you can do.

  • Horizontal submenu on the standard SPRY menu in DWCS3

    Could someone help me with how to change the submenu of the
    standard Spry Widget in CS3 (Horizontal Menu Bar) also to show in
    Horizontal fashion rather than the standard vertical. I checked
    past threads but could not any sense of them (I am rather new
    altough have a basic understanding of CSS and XHTML). Also, is
    there anyone that knows how to add a third level? (also
    horizontal). The idea is to have a 1st level horizontal bar that on
    hoovering over a tag higlight the second level (to appear just
    below it) that relates to it and so on for the second level. So
    that the user can see the whole structure while hovering over the
    first to levels with the cursor and reach the bottom level (3rd).
    Not sure if I am clear but would appreciate any help from someone
    that knows more than me.
    Regards
    A

    Hello,
    I wonder if anyone can help. I created a Spry menu in DWCS3.
    I wanted it to have a transparent background so I tried two things.
    The first was to insert 'none' as the value for background-color as
    below, and the other was to delete the background-color line
    altogether. BOTH ways work fine in Firefox, but neither work in
    IE7. In IE7 you get a default white background, which is very
    annoying because my menu text is white and therefore you can't read
    it. This is the website in
    progress here
    > Any ideas? Many thanks, Ellie
    /* Menu items are a light gray block with padding and no text
    decoration */
    ul.MenuBarVertical a
    display: block;
    cursor: pointer;
    background-color: none;
    padding: 0.5em 0.75em;
    color: #FFFFCC;
    text-decoration: none;
    font-family: Georgia, "Times New Roman", Times, serif;
    }

  • The font size in the menu bar is too small (unreadable). How can I increase font size. I have a new Samsung PC with high resolution screen.

    Hi the fnt size in the menu bar is too small (unreadable). How can I increase the font size. I have a new Samsung PC with high resolution screen.

    You must mean Photoshop Elements 11, not Photoshop.
    There is no ability to change the size of the menu font in PSE 11.
    note to mod:
    Please move to the Photoshop Elements forum.

    Hi, I have just installed Photoshop Elements 12 on my new laptop but the menu words are so small that they are almost unreadable.
    Is there any way to increase the font size?

  • I cannot enlarge the font size of my menu bars and tabs I tried using a recommended add on with no success, can you help me please?

    I was able to enlarge the fonts of menu bars and tabs in my previous version of firefox, I'm unable to resolve this on my own with firefox 4

    Did you try this extension?
    * Theme Font & Size Changer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
    You can use one of these extensions to adjust the default font size and page zoom on web pages:
    * Default FullZoom Level - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/
    * NoSquint - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/

  • How do I change the font size on the menu bar in Quicktime?

    I have to squint and put my nose to the monitor to read it.It looks like it's about a 3 point font size.  I don't see anything in the preferences for changing it, and I'd rather not change the resolution on my monitor.
    Thanks!

    To change the font size in PDF forms, one needs to have Adobe Acrobat rather than Adobe Reader.

  • How can I change the font size in the menu-, bookmark-, tabs and status-bar?

    I want to change the text font size in the Firefox-window, other than the text in the Web-page.

    You can increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 steps to see what works best.
    In Firefox 3.6 and later this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements more precisely.
    To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
    If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

  • Changing font size in toolbar menu and apps

    How can I increase the font size in my toolbar and in things like iPhoto? It's so small on my big screen that it hurts my eyes to read it.

    I am not sure if you can change that, but you could try adjusting the monitor resolution to make toolbars appear bigger.
    To do this, go to System Preferences > Displays. Under resolution, select one smaller than your current one. The current one will be selected in the list.

  • Font size for Safari menu and tabs headings

    Hi,
    I setup Safari for the first time on my new Nexoc Laptop and have been very pleased that it works quite nice. My display resolution is 1900x1200 , so I love the possibility to set a minimum font for viewing pages.However as this works fine, I don´t find any possibility to get the menus of Safari readable without headache. I Set up the Window fonts to get Window´s windows readable, but how to archive bigger font-size for the Safari Menus ?

  • Why can't I change the font size on the menu bars for my mac book air?

    The text is just too small sometimes. Are there any third party apps that can help with this, apparently apple is under the impression everyone has perfect vision? Is this some crazy request? I was reading through the forums and this has been a problem for a while now. I am so happy that apple has high resolution screens but my eyes are not great and it is hard for me to focus on small things for very long.

    Hi Appleman,
    So what causes the Title Sequence from not being able to be edited?
    As per michelepost comments earlier, neither the "Show Fonts" function allows title values to be changed, nor if the iMove Font Panel displayed?
    From the Menu options, neither does the Cmd- or Cmd+ functions work to manage the size of the title text...
    Can new titles be created with images from my photo library be used as backgrounds for Titles?
    Whilst on the theme, why when changing photo image durations, the value in time entered does not relate to the image(s) selected? I enter 1.8seconds, and 0.9 is displayed against the selected image.......
    Looking forward to your response in advance.

  • How to increase font size in menu bars

    Hi, have eyesight dissability, need to increase font size in all menu bars for my brand new G5
    have any ideas? thanks
    Pepe

    System Preferences>Universal Access. Or change the resolution to 1344 X 840. System Preferences>Displays.
    BTW if you have a MacBook Pro it is not a G5. It is an intel Mac. G5 Macs were discontinued years ago.
