Hello Otto,
Thanks for the reply,  I created my application refering the above blogs.
I have BSP Page
<htmlb:content u2026.>
<htmlb:page u2026.>
<htmlb:form>
<<AREA FOR DISPLAYING ERROR/SUCCESS MESSAGES >>
<< HTMLB Buttons for SAVE/PRINT_PREVIEW/BACK >>
<iframe src="getPDF.do">
u201DControl getPDF.do returns Adobe Interactive Form in PDF format
</iframe>
</htmlb:form>
</htmlb:page>
</htmlb:content>
in getPDF.do I'm getting PDF Interactive form as PDF Fiel, Inside the form there is a Save button.
Currently if I click the save button in Interactive for , only the IFrame & Adobe Form is getting refreshed,
What I want is
On Click of Save button of ADOBE, It should trigger Click event of Save button in BSP Page.
Is there any script event in Adobe Form to access window.document object of my main page?

  • Check and Submit Button dont trigger the events

    All,
    I have two webdynpro activex buttons check and submit embedded on the form. These buttons have this script on their respective click events -
    app.eval("event.target.SAPSubmit();");
    app.eval("event.target.SAPCheckFields();");
    This inturn is supposed to trigger the code within the onCheck and onSubmit event handlers of SAP Interactive Form.
    But, when I click these buttons nothing seem to happen.
    Can someone help me resolve this issue as it is very criticial for me.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Many thanks,

  • Submit button to trigger mail sending

    can some body tell me what script i have to write (in formcalc/javascript) for this and  in which event of the submit button i should write the script

    Soumya,
    Check this [document|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c2567f2b-0b01-0010-b7b5-977cbf80665d]
    Another thing which I found and you can try is :
    1. Create a regular button.
    2. In the Object palette, set the Control Type to Submit.
    3. Go to the Submit tab. Select Submit Format as PDF.
    4. In the Submit to URL box, type the submit email address preceded by mailto: tag
        For example: mailto:[email protected]
    Please note that in order to submit a PDF, either :
    - your end users must have Acrobat installed; or
    - you must pay Adobe for a Reader Extensions license for your form.
    If you don't do this, your button won't work.

  • Submit button fails to call event

    Hi
    I hav a webdynpro app where I am using a PDF form.
    The Submit button does not respond.
    When I take a project from one of my colleagues and I try to run it in my
    development environment the submit button works well and responds to my clicking
    by going to the event handler attached to the action.
    The environment we use is the same, so are all the Web Dynpro, Adobe Reader, and Lifecycle Designer versions.
    Anyone seen such behaviour?

    Hi,
    Otto is right.
    SAP recommends ZCI rather than instead of ACF.
    As per the note: 766191, it is supported upto reader 9. I am not sure about 9.1.
    Please refer to Note: 834573,1055911, 1042394 for ZCI implementation.
    Hope this would be helpful.

    Hi all,
    I am having this weird problem, the submit button wont trigger any event i register to "submit" and so as to the "check" event. when i send the link to one of my colleagues, the button can trigger the event.
    i am using adobe reader 8 on IE 6, didn't solve the problem when i downgrade it to reader 7.
    any advice???
    Thank you.

    Hi,
    I too had a similar problem sometime back regarding the Submit button. Since you are saying that it is working for your colleague but not you, I predict that something wrong with the network you are in, compared to that of your friend.  Have you provided the Preprocessor URL for the button in the Adobe designer?
    Cheers

  • Can I send 2 separate emails from one Submit Button?

    Have a referral form that an employee completes referring a candidate for a specific position.
    Fields are:  EmployeeName, EmployeeEmail, Candidate, Position, ReqNo.
    I created a submit button (used regular button and changed it to a submit and entered an email address). The form is sent to this email address in a PDF format.  This works great.
    Now at the same time I would like send a message to the employee acknowledging that we have received their referral -utilizing their email address from the form.
    Is there anyway that I can combine both of these actions on the Submit button I already have created?

    To do so i guess you could use this to send an email in ur regular button (not a submit button) in the click event
    var oDoc = event.target;
                                       oDoc.mailDoc({
                                             bUI: false,
                                             cTo: "Email here!",
                                                                               cCC: "",
                                                                               cSubject: "Insert Subject Here!",
                                                                               cMsg: "Before submiting the email, include attachments 1, 2 and 3:\n"
    and then you can resend an email again with the code above repeated

  • Updation of Ztable clicking on submit button in adobe interactive forms

    Hi all,
    In my adobe interactive form i have student details and one SUBMIT BUTTON.After clicking on that button i need to update the details in my Ztable. How Can I do?Where Can I write the code?
    Please reply me.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, I'm afraid I think there is no place where you can "catch" click on button in interactive form in sapgui, but you can:
    use http submit button and send data to your web service, which receive dataa and update your ztable,
    or you can create webdynpro, where you can catch click on submit button a in this event you can update yout ztable (my previous post).
    Please remember, that you can run your webdynpro application in sapgui:
    REPORT  DEMO_START_WD_IN_PLACE1 MESSAGE-ID SWDP_RUNTIME.
    start-of-selection.
      CALL FUNCTION 'WDY_EXECUTE_IN_PLACE'

    Hi Kiranmai,
    You can capture the event of the radio button in the following way in oninputprocessing.
    DATA: event             TYPE REF TO if_htmlb_data,
                   radioButton_event TYPE REF TO CL_HTMLB_EVENT_RADIOBUTTON.
             event = cl_htmlb_manager=>get_event( request ).
             IF event IS NOT INITIAL AND event->event_name = htmlb_events=>radiobutton.
               radioButton_event ?= event.
               ENDIF.
    you can get the attributes of clicked radio button in
    event->event_class
    event->event_id.
    event->event_name
    event->event_type
    event->event_server_name
    In layout define the radio button as
    <htmlb:radioButtonGroup   id          = "test_id">
            <htmlb:radioButton      id          = "id_red"   text = "Red"               onClick="myClick" />
            <htmlb:radioButton      id          = "id_blue"  text = "Blue"          onClientClick="alert('blue clicked')"/>
            <htmlb:radioButton      id          = "id_green" text = "Green"      onClick="myClick" onClientClick="alert('green clicked')"/>
          </htmlb:radioButtonGroup>
    Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Associating two events with submit button using  javascript in jsp

    Hi
    How can i Associate two events with submit button using javascript in jsp. Firstly it should insert the data to database and secondly it should close the same pop-up window

    Have something like :
    <input type="submit" name="submitbtn" value="Click me" onClick="function1(); function2(); " />
    You just call both functions sequentially, it's that simple. Although using javascript to work with a database, that seems a bit tricky.

  • Partial trigger not woring on the Submit button of the application panel.

    Hi,
    I am facing an issue that I am not sure if it is a framework bug. I used Submit button on the app panel and would like to hide it in some cases. I used a partial trigger for this button. But it doesn't respond to the trigger at all!. I also tried the same trigger on other buttons on the app panel, such as Done, Save, etc.. they all work as expected. Does any one know if this is as designed or a frame work bug?
    Thanks,
    Chunyang

    Hi Frank,
    Thanks for the reply. Good news, I just found out this morning after I refreshed my view that the Submit button refresh issue is resolved. Looks like ADF team was working on that bug.
    I have another question on the app panel buttons.
    My use case for this button is to use this Submit button as a Save and Close drop down, with Save As under it. The object has versions with a version navigation pull down list. When navigate to a Pending version, the buttons are like:
    [Save] [Save and Close |\/] [Cancel]
    |Save As |
    when navigate to a submitted/released version the buttons should be like:
    [Save As] [Done]
    Could you advise how I can achieve this? Currently I make [Save] [Save and Close |\/] [Cancel] invisible and [Done] to be visible for non-pending versions. I also added an additional |Save As | from actionButtonBar facet to be visible in this case, because the original |Save As | is under [Save and Close |\/] , which is not visible in this case. Not sure if it is the right approach. Now the |Save As | is on the left side of the vertical separator, instead of on the right side, since all the buttons under actionButtonBar facet are on the left side of the vertical separator. So you see the buttons like this:
    [Save As] | [Done]
    Thanks,
    Chunyang

  • Data passing from Adobe from submit button to BSP controller with XML

    Dear Friends
    How are you. I am developing one BSP application with Adobe interactive form. To complete this task I have use following linked solution. ( A PDF file that tells how to use Adobe forms with BSP application ).
    My application runs fine 50%. I did the same things what the tutorial told me and I am seeing the page in the webbrowser with Adobe from what i have developed.
    In the form I have put SUBMIT button and I have set properties as well... I have give full url as well for the controller to take data there over XML.
    In the controller I am not receiving any value. I have attached the code beneath as well... please tell me where I am making mistakes. I am thanking you. Any help will be appreciated.
    data: formxml type string.
    formxml = request->get_cdata( ).
    data: streamfactory type ref to if_ixml_stream_factory.
    data: istream type ref to if_ixml_istream.

    data: strchecked type string.
    node = document->find_from_name( name = 'ACC_REQ').   <------ Node is empty
    strchecked = node->get_value( ).
    This is the link of the solution what i refered to complete this application:

    Dear Naeem,
    Actually i also tried the same link. For me its displayed the form. After giving the input when i click for submit nothing will happen.
    Its blinked and displayed the same page. I think for the node is getting value and some where its doesnt retrive the value.
    I will check and get back you soon once i found.

    I've set up an event and published it, but it won't allow for registrations.  The SUBMIT button is grayed out.  Thoughts?

    The submit button is greyed out in case the registration page is being viewed in preview mode.
    Please check if the following string is present in the event registration URL:
    "preview=true"
    If it is present, please try by removing this string.

  • Submit button from Adobe form doesn't trigger action???

    Hi all,
    the submit button within Adobe form doesn't trigger any action that i wrote. it happens to my machine, but it doesn't happen on some of my colleague's machines.
    i am using Adobe reader 8, when the first time i use IE to display the app, it prompts me to install some kind of activeX plug in, and after it installed, it told me that some setting is not correct, and it mentioned about adobe reader 6 or 7.
    will downgrade to 6 or 7 solve this problem? is there any other walkaround for it?
    thank you!

    If you are on Netweaver 2004s SP9 or higher, you could change the displayType property of InteractiveForm UI element to "Web Dynpro Native" and use the submit button from "Native" tab.
    If you are any other lower version, you dont have a choice but to use "activeX" which requires Active Component Framework (ACF) to communicate with server. You need to use button from "Web Dynpro ActiveX" tab. You need to install the right version of ACF (SAP Note 766191). Better if you use Adobe Reader 8.1.2.
    Thanks
