Successful MobileMe to iCloud migration, but iCal now giving error messages

I successfully migrated to iCloud, but when iCal tries to sync I get these two error messages.
iCal couldn't move your calendars to iCloud because an error occurred. Make sure you're connnected to the Internet and then try again.
There are two buttons: Try Again Now or Try Again Later.
I also simultaneously get this message, which will not let me select either choice (the buttons don't work):
The server responded with an error. The request for account "iCloud" failed.
The server responded with "509" to operation CalDAVMigrateToServerQueueableOperation.
The options are "Stay Offline" or "Go Online" but I can't select either button. I click and nothing happens.
I have to select "Try Again Now" or "Try Again Later." And when iCal tries to connect, the error messages appear again. It just keeps repeating every 30 minutes (I have iCal set to sync with iCloud every 30 minutes).
Any ideas? Thanks in advance. This is bugging me out.

This is indeed an unsolved problem.
I also have a persistent "the server responded with 509 to operation CalDAVMigrateToServerQueueableOperation".

Do you guys have something like this in your system.log?  (use Utilities/Console.app to find out if you aren't command-line savvy).

    Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)

    Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
    The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

  • My imported songs into itunes match are not being uploaded but they are giving error messages

    So when I am adding songs to my itunes library I am having issues with these songs being uploaded.  I called apple support last time and they fixed the issue with me but it's started all over again.  These songs have the little cloud with an exclamation point beside them and they say an error has occurred when uploading when i click on them.  I have turned itunes match on and off and that didn't resolve the issue.  Any ideas?

    When you have that alert icon, generally that means iTunes can't find the original file. What happens if you do a Get Info on the track?

    Is calendar syncing enabled on both the computer and the phone.
    Are your calendars in your iCloud group and not in a on my mac group.
    only calendars in the iCloud group will sync.

    Firstly, I note that your profile states that you are using OS X 10.5.8, in order to use iCloud on your computer you need OS X 10.7.2 or better.
    Secondly, I have asked for your email address to be edited out. Post your address in an open thread is a sure way to be bombarded by unwanted email, remember it will be here long after you have resolved your problem, for automated detection software to find.
    If you want people to contact you, enable others to see your email address in your profile.
    Finally, are you sure that these additional addresses are aliases and not sub accounts on a family pack, aliases from MobileMe should transfer to an iCloud when you migrate.

    This issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    * "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

    It seems you are unable to activate iMessage on a device with no carrier service. The following article provides information regarding activation issues:
    If you get an error when trying to activate iMessage or FaceTime - Apple Support
    Check your device settings
    Make sure that you’re connected to a cellular data or Wi-Fi network. If you're using an iPhone, you'll need SMS messaging to activate your phone number with iMessage and FaceTime. Depending on your carrier, you might be charged for this SMS.
    Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and make sure that your time zone is set up correctly.

    You can't. The only way to get songs in the Music app is to sync from a computer or to download from iTunes.

    Yep.  Nothing happens at all. Windows tries to execute the uninstaller, but I don't get any other screen and all activity stops for the MSI.  I monitored it in Process Monitor and the MSI executable appears, but is quickly ended, like it couldn't find anything or something.
    It's as if windows has a blank entry in Programs and Features, because it used to show the size of the Adobe application in the "Size" column.  Now it's just blank.  Link to screenshot below:

    Note the install date.  That's when I was able to successfully reinstall it.  Now I can't even do that.  I should also mention I tried Revo Uninstaller.  It deleted one small registry key, but nothing changed.
    By the way, is the CS cleaner supposed to ask for a disc in the drive when you run it?  It refused to run unless I had one in it, so I used my install dvd.

    Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10 running on? And, what video card/graphics card does that computer use?
    Is this the first time you are using Premiere Elements 10 or have you worked with it before successfully? There is no easy solution until we
    know the details and troubleshoot to determined what caused the problem.
    1. Can you open a new project?
    2. After you saved/closed the problem project, did you move, delete, or rename any of the files/folder that were related to the source media
    for that project?
    3. Please review the Adobe document on troubleshooting damaged projects.

    4. What are the steps that you are using to reopen this saved closed project.

    Because the location for each song in your library is on your hard drive.  If the hard drive isn't there, how can iTunes play it?
    You'll have to move/copy the music from your hard drive to your computer's hard drive.
    Basically, EASIEST way to do all this, if you don't care about your play counts, etc...
    -Delete EVERYTHING from iTunes, so that your library is now empty.
    -Go to "Advanced" inside of the "Preferences" window, found in the "Edit" drop-down.  You can also access Preferences by pressing Ctrl+, (Press Ctrl and the comma key)
    -Change your iTunes Media Folder Location to something simple, but on your computer. I use C:/iTunes.  Make sure "Keep iTunes Media Folder Organized" and "Copy files to...." are both checked.  You can close Preferences now.
    -Now, drag and drop your music from your hard drive into your iTunes library.  iTunes will automatically add the music to your library, as you would expect, and also creates a copy of each file to place into that iTunes Media Folder you just created.
    Shouldn't have any more problems...

  • I had to reinstall CS4 and now have error messages when opening bridge and photoshop

    The error message is "The specified module could not be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Adobe Version Cue CS4\Client\4.0.1\Version Cue.DLL

    I tried what you suggested and it did not help.  whenever I try to open either photoshop or bridge, I get a message saying that there was a problem loading scripts the last time that Bridge was open and do I want to try loading them again?  If I click yes, I get that same error message that I reported in my original question and photoshop/bridge will immediately close.  If I click no, photoshop and bridge will open but it will not let me open a raw format document.  It seems like Adobe Camera Raw is not being recognized.   One of the updates I downloaded was an update to Adobe Camera Raw so the functionality is there, it just can't be accessed.  do you think I should try to uninstall and re-install Photoshop again?
