1) Can anybody tell me which table contains the field CNTRC (short description is Counter Reading) ?
2) CNTRC is available in the structure RIMR0. In a situation like this, how do we identify the table name?

The counter reading is available in IMRG table in field CNTRR. It is available in exponential form. you need to convert to decimal from using the FM FLTP_CHAR_CONVERSION_FROM_SI

Which R3 table contains the field WRSHB (Amount in FC)?

In InfoSource 0FI_AP_4, the InfoObject 0DEB_CRE_DC is mapped with R3 field WRSHB (Amount in FC). We try to find which R3 table contains this field, but fail to find it. We've tried BKPF, BSEG, and PAYR, not successful. We tried RSO2 and find that no view/table is attached to the datasource 0FI_AP_4, instead the extraction function BWFID_GET_FIAP_ITEM is used for the extraction, but inside this function, still can't find this field WRSHB.
Any idea?

The above link shows the Origin Fields in the Extract Structure, however it doesn't contains the field called KNTTP, but it does exist in the datasource of 0FI_GL_4 of our R3 system, why? Our R3 system version is 4.7. SAP Help website should be updated, right? Why SAP Help website doesn't contain the field KNTTP for datasource 0FI_GL_4?

I am BI Consultant,trying to enhance some HR Datasources.I am trying to find new fields----'Payroll Run Date'....'Present Salary of the position'....in which tables are these fields located?and what is the technical name of these fields?
I tried but couldnot find them.

For 'Payroll Run Date' go to PA03 transaction and check the field payroll period.
You will get the technical name by right clicking on the field and go to help(F1) .
In the screen that pops up go to Technical information.
Not quite sure abt the 'Present Salary of the position'.

Please suggest me a datasource which contains these fields

Hai gurus,
I am working for a roll out project where in sap is implemented for the client in one place and based on that we are making modification and building the same for the same client located in other places....so naturally there will be some gaps for the same..
so my question here is that...there is some gap( report available...but need some modifications to the report) for some country...
so I have asked the client to provide me the name of the report. by giving the name of the fields (field and table names) got from functional people ..but client is asking me to provide more details such as names of the infoobjects to which they are mapped to on BW side and also the name of the data source to which these fields are to be enhanced.....
can u please help me in this regard

Looks like the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR DataSource would be your best bet as a starter, but you're going to have to enhance it with some of the fields that you listed which appear to be custom.
GETRI - This is on the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR DataSource
AUFNR - This is on the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR DataSource
MATNR - This is on the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR DataSource
MAKTX - This is on the 0MATERIAL_TEXT DataSource
YYD-YSOP2 - This appears to be a custom field and would have to be populated to the DataSource through a User Exit in CMOD.
YYD-YSOP3 - This appears to be a custom field and would have to be populated to the DataSource through a User Exit in CMOD.
GBTXT - This is an HR application component item. This would have to be populated through a User Exit.
YINHA - This appears to be a custom field and would have to be populated to the DataSource through a User Exit in CMOD.
MEINS - This is on the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR DataSource.
KTEXT - This is a fairly generic text field and you're going to have to specify which table in R3/ECC it should come from in order to determine if there's any standard content that has this.

Did you managed to find the solution for the issue.
We also have a similar situation we have enhanced the datasource to get the follow docs like RFx PO and Contract However, these documents are not being pulled in the delta records.

Storing data in the table containing autonumber field

I am using following query:
PreparedStatement statement2 = con.prepareStatement("Insert into register values ( ? , ? , ?,10 , ?)");
     statement2.setString(1, username);
     statement2.setString(2, userid);
     statement2.setString(3, Date);
     statement2.setString(4,email);
     statement2.executeUpdate();
Its working fine but next time I have to use some other value instead of 10 b/c this field is a primary key & its a autonumber. I want that table should take care of it on its own otherwise i wont be able to take benefit from this autonumber field. If I dont write anything then i get incompatibility error.
Can somebody plz. help me in this regard?

Need table containing specific PSA information

I'm hoping this is an easy one, that I'm just missing somehow.
What SAP table contains the field where I can check if a PSA request has been loaded above the PSA level. Basically I need the first column in the list (Request Updated) when you manage on a datasource and see the list of PSAs. It seems like Iu2019ve found nearly every table that contains PSA information, but the right one. Thanks

Dynamic creation of table with variable field-names

I am looking for a way in order to create a table during runtime. The problem is that the field names of the table are provided in another table.
TO illustrate the case at hand, an example:
The initial table contains the fields
UserID - attribut_name - attribute_value
Example Data
d00587 - first_name    - Jon
d00587 - last_name     - Smith
d00587 - age           - 48
d00127 - first_name    - Jack
d00127 - last_name     - Daniels
d00127 - position      - Manager
Now I need to create a table per User that looks as follows:
for user d00587
first_name - last_name - age
**Values
Jon         - Smith      - 48
for user d00127
first_name - last_name - positioin
Jack        - Daniels    - Manager
I split the initial table by sorting it according to userID and then looping into an itab with an AT END OF userid, thus I receive the table per user:
Example iTab
UserID - attribut_name - attribute_value
Example Data
d00587 - first_name    - Jon
d00587 - last_name     - Smith
d00587 - age           - 48
However I have no clue on how to create a new internal table with field-names = attribute_name.
Does anybody have an idea or example code for this?

How to convert internal table with dynamic fields to XML

Dear all,
I met a problem like the following:
The aim is to transform the following parameter to XML
IT_FIELD stores the dynamic filed name of the internal table,with these fields, the dynamic internal can be created by cl_abap_tabledescr=>create(it_field)
IT_VALUE stores the value of the internal table dynamically created with dynamic fields.
For example
IT_FIELD =>
line1: FIELD1
line2: FIELD2
line3: FIELD3,
three lines in this internal table.
dynamically created internal table structure FIELD1 FIELD2 FIELD3
And IT_VALUE=>
1 2 3 (First line)
11 22 33
two lines of data.
Do you have any idea about how to transform the IT_VALUE to XML here? And also the transformed XML to the IT_VALUE.( we may need remember IT_FIELD here for later XML to IT_VALUE.)
Hope I describe the problem clearly.
Any inputs will be appreciated.

Hi,
you need to implement a bit of coding for that.
With the 'do varying' statement abap provides a loop over those fields. Within this loop you can build up a new internal table with one entry for each period and amount.

check table vbap / VBRP/ LIPS , in those tables you can get
ARKTX,MATNR,SERNR fields.
But there is no field with the name sernr1 in standard databse tables. May be that you can find in customized tables created specific to your project.that we cant see .
but about matnr1 you can get in the following tables.
