Suggestions on purchasing a TV

Hi I am looking at buying a large flat panel TV. We are planning on mounting the TV above a wood burning fireplace mantle. The size we are looking at is 55" to 60". My questions is, what is the best kind of tv for the life, and dealing with heat, and being that is a large tv for picture quality?? Plasma vs. LCD??

Selecting the perfect tv is indeed tough. We need to know a bit about you and your viewing habits to make a solid recommendation. This sounds like it's going to be a rather large investment. 55-60" flat panels aren't mainstream yet.
If you're a movie lover, you have to at least consider plasma. If you're more of a multimedia type, I suggest LCD. Tell us what you like to watch. Do you or anyone in the family play video games? Are you net savvy? Where will you be seated in relation to the TV? All this stuff helps narrow down the choices.

Software upgrades do not generally damage hardware; your drive's failure must be co-incidental. On most MBP's, a hard drive is very easily replaced by a user. You might want to check out this site for both hard drives as well as install videos (check which model you have so you can check the correct video):

We have a problem with a customer that is usign the MRP the message is in SAP and turn it to de SDN forums for a correction in a future release. In the following DRQ you can look for the DRQ and message that have the detail of the wrong behaivor.

This case was reported because if we run the MRP wizard tool using minimums it doesn´t recognize the PO created. When we create a new PO to satisfy the minimum required or any sale order which their lead time required is less than 21 days after the PO created (it means that the items will not arrive at time to satisfy to the client) the system do not recognize this PO created and still requesting it u201Cnu201D times to satisfy this demand because it will never satisfy it, and that´s because the lead time with most of our suppliers are 21 days and some articles which are expired or will be soon, still requesting until the items arrives at the warehouse and be registered in the system.
Most of our articles (70% aprox.) come from foreign suppliers and the lead times that we have with them are 21 days; so as you can see is very necessary for us that the MRP tool run well because that means that the responsible to make the purchases will trust in the MRP recommendations to make the purchase process faster than it is right now and principally because we want to control our stocks to reduce it at least in 40-50%.

Suggestions for purchasing new DSLR camera.

What is your budget? You can get a Canon Rebel series camera body for between $600 and $800 in the US. That would be like T3i, T4i, etc.. Then you need lenses.
Flowers and bugs:
If you are serious about the close-up flowers and insects you can get a macro lens for that. Canon makes a 50mm ($250.00) and a 60mm Macro lens ($400.00) that is not terribly expensive. You could also spend a lot of money and get an image-stabilized Canon 100mm macro lens ($900.00) or even a 180mm macro ($1,400.00). The shorter length lenses like 50 and 60mm require you to be very close to the subject to fill the frame up, like just 3 or 6 inches from the front of the lens, which is managable for subjects like flowers that don't scare easily. The longer lenses (100mm and 180mm) will let you stay at a farther distance, so you don't frighten away the bugs.
If you want to save money, and dip your toe into the hobby to try it out first, you could buy extension tubes to put onto a regular lens and that would not be much additional cost (beyond that of the lens itself).
Mountainscapes, scenery:
I could not tell what you were looking for here. Many people would not want to "zoom in" to get a view like that; they would instead get a wide angle lens so they could take in the whole wide view. You can, of course, do it the other way and buy a telephoto lens to "zoom in" and capture just a piece of the scenery from a distance. Which were you looking for?

When i browse itunes to the apple store, and genius recomendations has in its top five something purchased from the stor last year - the only conclusion is "stupiditiy".
Its close enough to make me believe apple might know what i like, yet stale enough to make me question the degree of intelligence behind apple's predictive analytics.
Instead of scaring me with hyperintelligence, they boor with pedestrian recomendations.

Doyou get a Music link in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app ? If not then what country are you in ? Music can't currently be re-downloaded in all countries : what can be re-downloaded where. If you aren't in a country where music can be re-downloaded then you will need to sync it from your computer's iTunes instead of re-downloading it

Can I transfer purchases from my old apple ID to my new one?

I used to live in the US and now moved back to Europe. Therefore I have 2 Apple ID's. One synced to the American iTunes store and one to the German one. Now, I am forced to use the German ID and store since I am in Germany.
All I want to do, is to be able to access and download everything I have purchased on the American Apple ID (which is a lot after living in the states for 5 years) and merge it with the stuff I purchased on the German ID or just download it to my computer. My computer recently crashed and I lost all my data so I would like to re-download my old purchases.
An additional problem is also that even though I kept my American bank account I changed the billing address to my current one in Germany. Therefore itunes won't let me purchase anything with my American apple ID because the billing address isn't American anymore.
If anyone knows how I can get my old purchases back, please let me know.

It is not possible to transfer purchases from one Apple ID or regional store to another. However you should still be able to download your past purchases simply by logging into the appropriate store and clicking "purchased" under the Quick Links section on the right-hand side of the store. Be sure and authorize the computer for both accounts.
Keep in mind that any apps purchased with each Apple ID can only be updated from that store; you will not be able to switch back and forth between the stores, either. There is a 90 days waiting period between logins. So factor that into your downloading.
I also strongly suggest you purchase a d external HDD and start using time machine to back up your personal data. If you had been backing up you would not need to re-download anything. I recommend an external HDD that is at least 3 times the size of the MBP's HDD.

Any suggestions on how to fix installation issues with iPhoto & iMovie on used Mac mini?

I bought a used, mid 2011, mac min. The selller deauthorized all his applications and resotred it to factory settings for me. When I received it, I added myself as an administrator and deleted the dummy user the seller had created after restoring the OS. The first thing I wanted to do was install applications I already have on my iMac (also running OSX Lion). It would not install iPhoto or iMovie. It said these applications were assigned to a different apple id, the previous owner. I decided to erase the hard drive and reinstall Lion myself. I ran into some snags (due to my internet connection) and had to use recovery thumb drive, but it worked.
I successfully re-installed Lion on the newly formatted hard drive.
I still cannot install iPhoto and iMovie. It just give me an error now. Couriously, it installed Garage Band just fine. I haven't had any other issues with other applications I purchased on my other iMac.
Anyone have any suggestions, besides purchasing iPhoto and iMovie on the mac mini?

Ethernet cord connected to the router solved it. This is exactly what I had to do when I reinstalled the operating system. For some reason my wireless internet is highly inreliable. It drops out constantly. I've always had my iMac hard wired to the router, but I'll have to figure out a fix for this Mac mini. I can't have a 30ft ethernet cord running through the middle of my basement. Thanks.

How do I purchase reader extensions to save a PDF form that has been filled out in Acrobat Reader?

I have just discovered that in order to save a PDF form that has been electronically filled out in Acrobat Reader, that I have to purchase reader extensions to make this possible. I would like to speak to someone about the price and how to purchase.
I cannot find a phone number on your site, so I am hoping to get an answer from Adobe this way.

Thanks everyone for responding. I should have supplied more information.
I was hired by my client to create PDF forms that can be downloaded from their website, filled out electronically in Acrobat Reader, and then saved (with all the form fields filled in) and emailed.
I was supplied with scanned forms as the base for creating the form fields in Acrobat Pro. These web visitors that will be filling out the forms and emailing them will only have Acrobat Reader, most likely.
I created the forms in Acrobat Pro, and they worked great when I tested them ( in Acrobat Pro) - I could save the form field data. However, my client has come back to me with numerous complaints from their web visitors - they cannot save the form once they have filled it out in Acrobat Reader and keep the data they have entered. Instead, they have to print the form physically, scan it, and email it that way (kind of low tech for the year 2013, and not easy for these people).
So, my end goal is to update these forms in Acrobat Pro so they can be filled out by folks only using Acrobat Reader and saved with the form field data intact. Seems like a no-brainer that Acrobat Pro should have this capability without purchasing additional extensions. However, in my research online, I have found several posts that suggest that purchasing "Reader Extensions" is the only way to enable Acrobat Pro to be able to do this.
Can someone please clarify if I need to buy something to program these forms in Acrobat Pro to enable other people using Acrobat Reader to fill out these forms and save them with the form fields intact?
If I do need to buy something, what is it exactly? How do I find out clear, consise, specific information about buying it/the cost/the licensing? I am a sole owner/employee of a graphic design firm and these forms are for my client, which is a locally-owned regional hospital.
If this needs to move to the LiveCycle forum, fine, but I don't really know what that software is and since I'm only using Acrobat Pro (and the users, Acrobat Reader) I felt this was the appropriate place to post.

There is no standard config to achieve this requirement.
You can create one Z table to maintain the relation between PGrp and Mat.Grp and use exit to populate the corresponding PGrp for the line item

I would suggest that you try a consignment PO.
this will bring the item into stock but the item will not cause any finacial postings (the item is classed as still belonging to the vendor). Then if and when you decide to uise the item in production, consume it from consignement stock and this will then trigger a debt to the vendor of the value of that item (from the consignment info record) and so you can then accept an invoice from the vendor or simply send them a payment by using consignmenmt settlement functionality.

Accrue Expense Items in Purchasing Options is set to Period End. If a purchase order which is project related is receipted, will an accrual be interfaced to Oracle Projects?

We are using Period end accrual,
After we submit Receipt accrual- period end program and submit Create accounting-receiving system creates actuals in GL these are Receiving journals in GL, I need to know after this if we submit PRC: Interface Supplier Costs with parameter Yes for interfacing receipt accruals system is not transferring these accrual actuals in Projects module. Is this correct?
PLease suggest which Purchasing setup for receipt accruals will transfer receipt accrual actuals to Projects module this is very urgent.

Check & press F4, NB Purchase Order (for catagory F) will be there after entering PO output type NEU & then maintaion the condition record in MN04.
Output type NEU automaticaly defaulted during purchase order creation with document type ,then just fine tune the output (message) type in following path:
SPRO--->MM->Purchasing>Message>Output control->Message types> Define message type for Purchase Order----->Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order
Now here select the check box corresponding to your output(message) type NEU to have print output automatically displayed & save.
Now try to creating Purchase Order & you will have default message type NEU.

My mac is authorized for my ipod touch but I can't transfer non purchased songs from my ipod to my itunes library.

My old macbook was stolen a month ago and I just got a new one. My new macbook is authorized for my itunes account, but my ipod touch is only able to transfer purchased songs. Whenever I try to transfer data from my ipod, itunes claims my computer isn't authorized and the transfer stops. What can I do to transfer my music?

An iPod Touch is not a backup/storage device. You should have been maintaining a backup of your personal data on an external HDD using Time Machine or other backup software of your choice.
However, there are ways to "recover" the music:
Recovering your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device
Syncing to a "New" Computer or replacing a "crashed" Hard Drive
Once you have recovered the music I strongly suggest you purchase an external HDD and start using Time Machine to keep a backup of your personal data.
