Supplier not passed back from Catalog to Shopping Basket
Hi,
We're implementing SRM 7.0 and have an issue where the supplier/business partner is not being picked up from the catalog, though all the items details are being passed back successfully. Business partner appears to be configured correctly. I've activated BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER and have had a look at the parameters CATALOG_CONTENT (item details) and ET_SC_PARTNER (business partner).
The data contained in ET_SC_PARTNER contains the business partner, from what I can see (18600), but I still get a 'Cannot determine supplier error in the actual basket after I select an item from the catalog. The fields in ET_SC_PARTNER contain the following:

Also, I had previously been monitoring CATALOG_CONTENT, and the VENDOR field in there was blank. However, even when I hard-coded the vendor field to contain the correct vendor, I still got the 'No Source of Supply found for item' message.

It looks like a portal navigation issue.
Can you search the list of notes by term "portal navigation" under the component SAP-CAT-MDM through service market place.

Supplier Note gets copied from Catalog Item to Non-Catalog Item

The basic issue is that when we create a mixed shopping cart, cart with Catalog and Non-Catalog Items (Made using Describe Requirement link), the Supplier Note (in the Documents and Attachments part ) from the Catalog Item gets copied to the Non-Catalog Item directly when we create the Non-Catalog Item.
We face the issue only when the first Item is a Catalog Item. ...
There are no custom developments for the Supplier Note and we do not modify it directly in any other way. Any Ideas .. ?

The issue is that for the Non-catalog ( Item created using Describe Requirement ) in SRM 5.0, the supplier note field is getting populated by default. This is the issue.
The Supplier's Note should remain blank. But, its not... This is the issue. Do you have any ideas what may be causing the issue..?

The Joomla content management system version 1.0.15 provides a content editor which uses pop-up windows to select images and files. When using any of these pop up editor windows since 3.6.9 the URLs selected in the pop-up are not passed back to the main editor window.

SRM 4.0: Source of Supplier not copying in line item on Shopping Cart
We are using SRM 4.0 in an extended classic setup and currently experiencing a problem with the source of supplier not being copied on line items. The user stated that when copying a line items in a shopping cart the source of supplier is not copying to the new line. It happens sometimes but not everytime the client uses the line copy option.
It was initially thought that based on the amount of the line item (>=$25,000) that would cause the source of supplier (vendor) not to copy to the new line item but it has been verified by client that is not the case. If anyone has seen this issue and know of what the root cause could be please let me know.

Actually this is occurring when the user is creating a shopping cart from scratch. He added a line item either from catalog or free text, sources the item and then uses the copy function to copy the line item. When the client does this the item is copied but the vendor disappears from the 2nd line item and client has to add it again.
So that OSS notes doesn't apply unless I'm missing something. -
UNSPSC code is not passed for RT catalog item then error !!
Hi SRM GURUs,
We have implemented BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER BADI.
In which if a RT catalog item is not having UNSPSC code then we are passing some generic material group for that particular item.
Here the issue is, if a UNSPSC code is not passed for a RT catalog item, then system is throwing error message "No logical system for FI is maintained. inform system admin".
Also, a pop-up is coming on SRM screen "Error in system;shopping cart cannot be processed further" and then after clicking on "OK" of the POP-UP it is taking me on SRM home page.
will anybody explain why this is happening ? Kindly, explain this logic (As this logic is in standard SAP program)?
PS: we are at SRM5.0 & CCM2.0.

we tried with blanking out the material group. we have got few errors but not of type like above mentioned.
The errors are as follows.
Cost center should not be blank

In SLG1 the log is green and contains following.
Start of line 000000 in shopping cart of catalog
External product category 26111710 contains errors or does not exist
where the number 26111710 is the UNSPSC code which i was deleted while debugging.

MSS report not passing values from portal to selection screen fields
Hello Gurus,
We have a problem with Sickness Absences report in MSS which is a Z copy of the standard report RPTABS20.
The problem is when the manager defines the selection criteria and selects the other period dates and under Organizational View - selects All Organizational Units and highlights one org unit and report results, then the report displays the employees which are currently not part of same org unit as selected in selection criteria. But these employees were present in this org unit in past when they took leave, which comes under the same period as given on selection screen. So in a way it seems to be right. But the requirement is to only display the employees which are currently present in this org unit.
The report seems to be working fine in backend where we specified the same date range and org unit on selection screen.
On our investigation in portal we came to know that the org unit field on selection screen PNPORGEH is not getting filled with org unit number selected on portal.
On further investigation in debugging we came across the fm HRWPC_RPT_START_REPORT which calls fm HRWPC_RPT_FCODE_EXEC which in turn calls fm HR_HIS_EXECUTE and it executes the report with following code:

Looks like the standard code is not passing the org unit to the selection screen of the report.

Wrong Currency coming from catalog to shopping cart
Hello All ,
We are facing a strange problem while creating a SC in SRM , catalog item is maintained with PLN as currency , user default and vendor currency is also PLN. But when item is transferred to SC from catalog it is getting as EUR.
I tried to debug the issue and found that the data which is coming from catalog itself contains EUR . But catalog is maintained with PLN.
FM TS_UPLOAD_CONTEXT_EXT is getting called with destination SAPGUI which is returning the data.
But I am not able to find this FM in SRM system. Please let us know how can we proceed with the analysis to find the root cause

What is your SRM release ?
In SRM 7.0, price conditions and item currency is the one from material catalog. But at header level (total value), currency is the one defined as local (attribute 'CUR' in 'Attributes' tab from PPOSA_BBP transaction).
Don't remember if this is the correct behavior (but this is the one i have on my system) and if it is equivalent for lower releases.

Cisco 881 ISR IPSec VPN Tunnel does not pass traffic from the vlan.
I have a cisco 881 ISR Router with a site-to-site IPsec vpn tunnel to a mikrotik device on the other end (I inherited this from my client). The tunnel is constructed properly and is up, however traffic does not pass or get routed to the FA4 interface. I see in my packet captures that it hits the vlan1 interface (vlans are required on the L2 ports) and does not pass to the tunnel.

Play position in audible audio books not syncing back from iPhone to iTunes
Hi everybody. I hope I don't open a redundant thread, but i couldn't find one that has this topic.
Anyway, I am syncing some audio books from audible to my iPhone. When i start playing them on the phone, the play position is in sync to the position in iTunes. Now let's say i listen one hour on the phone and then sync again.
Contrary to what i expected, the further advanced play position from the phone is NOT synced back to iTunes but the old position from iTunes is synced again to the phone. So the next time I access the audio book on the phone I start where i started in the first place.
Is this a bug or have I missed some setting wheresoever?
Thanks for any suggestions!I have seen others complain about it. For me I never listen via PC (only phone) so I haven't had an issue yet. Though I do when I stop listening look at the time and chapter/file I am at and go over to Notes and jot it down. Due to reboots or other issues, it has lost where I was but with my notes, I can quickly get back.

Mail is not passing back Server rejection Information.
If you attempt to send out an Email message from the Mail application that has a bad email address that ends in the same name as your ISP, you will get a "Cannot Send Message Using the Server" error message as a rejection to the Send. There is no information about why the message is being rejected.
To see it happen, just put a dummy address in the To field that has as the last part, your ISP name. That is if you are on Verizon, then put something in like [email protected] This should generate the problem when you attempt to SEND it. When this is done under Windows OUTLOOK, an error messsage is generated stating that the message was rejected by the server. And also in the message, the bad address of [email protected] is identified. The message error number is 0x800CCC79. USER UNKNOWN. THis means to me that the server is providing the Mail application some feedback to the problem and OSX MAIL needs to provide some code to present similar information back to the user. In my case, I have over 50 addresses and by looking at the OSX MAIL response, it leads one to inaccurately believe there is a server error. THe error is in the Mail addresses. This needs to be changed; at least provide the same support that Windows Outlook provides.I do not agree that Mail should not have to be as specific as
Outlook. It should not be missleading someone to think there
is a server error when indeed there is an Email address error.
Agreed. And Mail is notorious for displaying bogus error messages in much more egregious cases than this. The infamous "The message from <sender> concerning "<subject>" has not been downloaded from the server. You need to take this account online in order to download it." comes to mind. Interestingly enough, the only article in Apple's knowledge base that up until recently mentioned this error message, explains precisely that the actual problem probably has absolutely nothing to do with what the error message says:
Overstuffed mailbox is unexpectedly empty
Even more interesting is the fact that Apple recently published another article about the same error message with instructions specific to Mac OS X 10.4 that again explains that the actual problem probably has absolutely nothing to do with what the error message says.
Why there is no article anywhere in Apple's website that explains under what circumstances that error message could actually be meaningful, and why they don't simply fix the bogus error message reported by Mail in the first place escapes me, but I digress...
Back to your problem, the next time something like this happens to you, try the following:
1. Open /Applications/Utilities/Console.
2. From the File menu, choose either Open Console Log, or Open System Log, or both, so that the Console application displays the contents of both system.log and console.log.
3. Try to reproduce the problem, and look at the bottom of the Console windows for messages that could have been written there as a result. -
Quicktime.mov not playing back from website

I downloaded three .MOV to my site. One is playing back ok, the other two are only displaying the QuickTime symbol. I did empty the browser cache, but to no avail. Did check with server and the .MOV files are in the html folder, but not playing back. Custom Values not read back from Active area
Hello All,
Need help/ directions.
We have custom fields in UI, which are saved in Custom tables in ECC for reporting purpose. On activation of CR we could save these
values in Ztables, but when use open the Material for Mark for Deletion we are getting SMT Mapping error (Data could not read back to CR).
Don’t see any errors while activating CR , SMT in mapping and also API code program
