Supportpack -  SRM 7.0 SP10

Hi all,
   We are currently in SRM 7.0 SP08, planning to apply SP10. Is there anyone who is already in SRM 7.0 SP10. Would like to know how stable it is compared to SP09. Did you face any major setbacks or issues while moving to SP10.

     after SP6 to SP9 upgrade lot of accounting issues in SC and POWL list showing duplicate SC and POs  and delivery address is not copying when we create a SC from existing SC like this we got some errors these just examples i given.
  for all these issues we got notes from SP10 and 11.
compare to SP9   , SP10 is stable seems..

    We currently upgraded our SRM 5.0 system to SRM 7.0.
    We need some inputs whether to activate the EHP1 for SRM 7.0
    Are there any limitations in terms of BRF workflows which are now covered in SRM 7.0 EHP1?
    In SRM 5.0,we were using n step header level approval workflow using the BADI and custom tables for approval determination.
    We need to map the same in SRM 7.0 now but wanted to know the limitations in terms of any new functionalituies which can be used in terms of Shoppign cart workflow in SRM 7 EHP1 v/s SRM 7.0 SP10.
    I read in one of the posts in the forum that parallel processing for BRF workflows is not supported in SRM 7.0 EHP1.Please advise.

    We are having lot of issues with the ACW in SRM 5.0 and hence plan to reimplement the workflow in SRM 7.0 using the process controlled workflows plus the new features introduced for workflow.
    Can you please advise if ACW are better than PCW or vice-versa??
    I dnt have the link for the post but cans someone confirm if parallel processing is supported in SRM 7.0 EHP1 workflows??
    Are there any shortcomings in terms of the BRF workflows in SRM 7.0 EHP1?

  • SCs split into multiple POs, duplicate POs and PO items in reverse c/ to SC

    Hi,
      We are on SRM Server 550 SP10 ECS. We are facing the following situations intermittently in Prod. We are unable to simulate the same situation in Dev or Q environment. Again this does not happen for every SC it happens atleast once or twice in a day with a volume of few hundred shopping carts.
    1) SC gets split into as many POs as SC Items. Let us say SC has 4 items, each item is created in one PO so we will have 4 POs w/ one item per PO in this example.
    2) PO gets duplicated. Let us say SC has two items. Then two POs are created with identical SC items referencing the same SC
    3) PO items are either jumbled or reversed in comparison to SC. Let us say in a SC you have 3 items in SC then the PO will contain items in say 3 ,2 , 1 order or 2, 3 1 order.
    These POs are automaticaly created after Approval (no sourcing cockpit). The vendor, Purchasing Org, Document Type etc is same for all items in SC.
    Anothe question: Once the approval of the SC happens in Workflow, the PO is automatically created via BAPI? or some job? Can anybody clarify the process that takes place from the Approval to PO creation (assuming the SC does not go to SOCO).

    Which R/3 and SRM support pqack versions are you using ?
    Following is the criteria which is used to split POs
    For Backend Purchase Orders
    Company Code
    Purchasing Org
    Purchasing Group
    Document Type
    Vendor
    Subtype (Direct/Hierarchy)
    FI Logical System
    Logical System from where an External Requirement comes
    For Local Purchase Orders additional criteria is used to split POs:
    Delivery Address (for higher releases)
    Procument Card Number
    Procurement Card Company
    Please Check the Implementation of BADI BBP_SC_TRANSFER_BE (Method GROUP_PO) for any Customer Added Splitting Criteria. Please look at SAP documenatation of the Business Add-In BBP_SC_TRANSFER_BE, its Method GROUP_RQ and GROUP_PO. You can use to overwrite the standard and group SC items based on custom rules to create split the PO or RQ in EBP.
    P.S. As soon as the purchaser assigns different SOS in the SC, you'll have different POs created.

    You order a shopping cart with couple of items with same data (such as vendor etc). One of the item is a direct material. When you order the cart, the PO split criteria is creating multiple POs instead of a single PO.

  • Attachment missing in back end for purchase order

    Hi all,
    We are using SRM 5.0 SP10 extended classic scenario.
    I have created a shopping cart with attachment. A local purchase order has been successfully created and i can find the attachment in it.
    When i check in the backend the purchase order doesnt contain the attachment.
    I have made the required changes in BBP_CREATE_PO_BACK. I have made necessary changes in DC10,DC20 and DC30. 
    I have checked the related threads in SDN but couldnt find any help.
    Please let me know if this works only for classic scenario or the attachments can even be sent to backend in extended classic scenari as well. If yes please let me know what else needs to be done to be able to view the attachment in the backend.

    Thanks for your reply. I have looked into both the BAdis. I couldnt understand how bbp_driver_determine BAdi could be useful to this scenario.
    However i looked at bbp_ecs_po_out BAdi. It has IT_ATTACH as importing parameter but i couldnt make out how this BAdi could be used to transfer attachment to backend. It doesnt have a relevant exporting or changing parameter.

  • ECC PR's header level attachment transfer

    Dear Experts,
    We are on SRM 7.0 SP10 , currently using ECS with PDP scenario and for transfer of PR's using BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER report. However found issue with the header level attachments transfer's since Purchase requistions have Header but not Shopping carts. Thus request your advice on how to address this issue even it is by a code change or enhancement.

  • Follow on doc missing from SC

    Hi there,
    SRM 5.0, SP10, Extended classic scenario,
    Facing the problem after SP upgrade only.
    Shopping carts exist that have already been ordered and approved and that have status "Follow-on document created"  However, the follow-on documents are missing from the object links and therefore, the system does not display any documents in the shopping cart history.
    meaning in follow on doc of the SC history is missing. *This is happenign for deleted lines of the PO
    only*
    Steps 1. SC created -- apprved ---PO created --- follow on doc of SC shows PO
    Step 2 one line item of PO deleted --- PO approved --- SC follow on Doc is not shpwong PO as 'delted'
    which was showing earlier before Support pack upgrade to 10
    In the items, status I1111 ("Item in transfer process") is active, and I1113 ("Follow-on document created) is also active.
    Anybody faced this problem please suggest the solution.

    The note is quite old and it talks about SRM 3 and 4, interstingly I have fond another note which is exactly the same as the problem we are facing 949162 but as the note is released on june 07 and does not specified any SP and we are facing this problem after Sp upgrade to 10  I am bit reluctant to put in system.
    Anybody on SP 10 has faced this problem before??

  • Account Assignment tab in the Central Contracts

    Dear Experts,
    We are on SRM 7.0 SP10 in Extended classic scenario using central contracts and don't find the account assignment tab which is required for non stock materials, and during replication to ECC these contracts are failing since account assignment data is being expected in ECC. Thus request you to please advice me on how to address this error.

    Hi Venkata Koppisetti.
    In the standard SRM system there is no account assignment in a contract. This is available if you have the PPS functionality acitivated and in that case the account assignment will only be visible when a Guarenteed Minimum is entered.

    Hi All,
    I am getting following error in  transaction Users_gen.
    <i><b>'The user has no workflow linkage. Configure workflow'.</b></i>
    SAP note says, I need to run transaction BBP_CHECK_USERS and select repair level 2. I followed these instructions but still I am getting this error.
    Any idea to resolve this.

    you can get rid of this message: nothing important.
    It just checks that the user has got a WF relationship: i.e. that there is a manager with the red hat in the org unit.
    It should be a warning message, raised after a call of RH_GET_LEADING_POSITION during user check (BBPU_CHECK_EBP_USER), that should retrieves the user's manager.
    If you display the long text of the error message, you should get:
    <b>Short Text</b>
    The user & has no workflow linkage. Configure workflow.
    <b>Diagnosis</b>
    The user has no workflow linkage. The relationship between position (S) and user (US) does not exist.
    <b>System response</b>
    In workflow configuration (table T77S0) you can set the indicator WFLOW/CRMUS to 'X'.
    <b>Procedure</b>
    You can set the indicator as follows:
    1. Start transaction code SM30
    2. Open table T77S0 (Maintain).
    3. Create the following new entry:
    Group: WFLOW
    Semantic ID: CRMUS
    4. Activate by setting the indicator to 'X'.
    Important: This function is only available from Basis Release 6.1.
    If you set an entry in T77S0 with WFLOW/CRMUS --> X, then this control is by-passed.
    This control is brought by note 796742:
    SRM 3.0 SP10
    SRM 4.0 SP05
    For one of my customers, I deleted this message, but I don't remember if I changed the code or if I changed the table entry...

  • Partner Not Found

    Hello,
    We have SRM 4.0 SP10 and we have the following issue:
    A user that change between different companies (company A to B) in the system. And instead a creation of a new user, the A was eliminated by mistake (even the partner trought BUPA_TEST_DELETE) and a new as created in company B. Or we have a user repaired and the document was in approving process. The PARTNER_NO change or does not exist.
    All the documents created by the user as the following error (example):
    Partner 44C7C1273C222A44E1000000AC110105 not found. 
    Do we have any solution for this error.

    Check in table CRMD_PARTNER if you can find the partner GUID 44C7C1273C222A44E1000000AC110105 in fields Partner_guid or Partner_no or in table BUT000. If not your partner is really deleted.
    In this case I never did this but you could try to modify your newly created partner and change his PARNTER_NO guid from table CRMD_PARTNER and PARTNER_GUID from table BUT000 with the old GUID. This is not adviced to change tables directly but in your case it could be necessary.
    Advice : Try this first with reproducing the error in development system.
    Also if you ever made client copy to validation system you could check if partner exists in validation system. If it's there you could maybe reimport it or recreate it with exact values.

  • SRM-MDM 3.0 SP10 Patch 1 - logon failed

    we have a urgend problem after upgrading the SRM-MDM Components and the MDM Server.
    Problem is, that we are not able to logon to the app ui or the search ui. It's not a Problem with the user. When logon to the app ui we receive the message "logon failed".
    Connection to the Repository via MDM Clients works very well. Only the Web UI is not accessable.
    To be sure we are having the right SPs for the Components we downloaded the latest Support Stack that includes all components versions that fits to each other (thats what i think).
    At least we have now
    MDM Server SP06
    MDM Catalog SP10 Patch 1
    Java API SP10 Patch 0
    MDM Connector SP10 Patch 7 (?)

    I understand that in tcode MRBR, when we select the radio button:  Manual Payment Block, we can see those invoices blocked at the Header Level.  (tcode MIR4, Payment tab, Pmnt Block field)
    It seems that only those invoices blocked at the time of invoice data entry (MIRO) are displayed.  But many times, we need to manually block the invoice AFTER it has already been entered and those are not displaying in MRBR.
    We are using SRM Extended Classic Config (if that matters) and are on ECC 6.0 SP10.  To block the invoice after the invoice has already been posted, we need to use tcode FBL1N to find the coordinating FI doc # and block it in that transaction code.  When we do that, it does show the block on the coordinating MM invoice number when viewing in MIR4, but it doesn't show in MRBR.  In other words, table BSEG shows the block, but table rbkp_blocked does not.
    Is there another way to manually block at the header level AFTER the invoice has been entered??  (so that it shows on the MRBR report).  Or is this a possible error with SAP's FI/MM integration?
    I thought I'd post my question here first before submitting an OSS message.

    We are implementing SRM 7 SP10 with ECS. SRM is connected to PI 7.11 .
    We noticed SRM sends message "PurchaseOrderRequest_Out" during first output and "PurchaseOrderChangeRequest_Out" with any following output (whether there is a PO change or not).
    Where can we determine the PI message in SRM? We would like PurchaseOrderChangeRequest_Out only for PO change.

    So you are suggesting that we need to do some additional coding by utilizing this user exit to be triggered by FBL1n, when we manually block using FBL1n??

    1) Requester creates Catalog SC;
    2) SC gets approved;
    3) PO is created (at this moment we haven't chosen between classic or Extended Classic scenario)
    4) Supplier Connects to a Portal (not SRM) and post an ASN in SAP Backend
    5) (THIS IS THE QUESTION): is it possible for the Requester (who created the SC) to post (in SRM) a GR based on the ASN that it has been created in SAP? 
    Additional Info: in this scenario SUS system is not foreseen; only SRM (EBP) and SAP backend system

    My requirement is to get all the values from the table SKB1 to SRM (i.e. in to an internal table) for doing some validation(G/L account XXXXXX requires an assignment to a CO objectXXXXXX.)
    Like wise I have many tables for doing validation in SRM
    Help me how to get this, suggest me any Function module with sample code.

    Any Standard FM which will give all the values of the fields in the table SKB1 when I pass the key fields G/L account & company code alone so that I can improve the performance.

    Are you taking care of the Importing paramater - DELIMITER in this case.. ??*
