Manually Blocking POs from SRM

Hi All,
I posted this question on the Financial Forum, but no one there was able to assist and I thought since this is so tightly integrated with MM, someone here might be able to assist. . .
I understand that in tcode MRBR, when we select the radio button: Manual Payment Block, we can see those invoices blocked at the Header Level. (tcode MIR4, Payment tab, Pmnt Block field)
It seems that only those invoices blocked at the time of invoice data entry (MIRO) are displayed. But many times, we need to manually block the invoice AFTER it has already been entered and those are not displaying in MRBR.
We are using SRM Extended Classic Config (if that matters) and are on ECC 6.0 SP10. To block the invoice after the invoice has already been posted, we need to use tcode FBL1N to find the coordinating FI doc # and block it in that transaction code. When we do that, it does show the block on the coordinating MM invoice number when viewing in MIR4, but it doesn't show in MRBR. In other words, table BSEG shows the block, but table rbkp_blocked does not.
Is there another way to manually block at the header level AFTER the invoice has been entered?? (so that it shows on the MRBR report). Or is this a possible error with SAP's FI/MM integration?
I thought I'd post my question here first before submitting an OSS message.
I'd appreciate any guidance on this,
Cindy

So you are suggesting that we need to do some additional coding by utilizing this user exit to be triggered by FBL1n, when we manually block using FBL1n??

  • We can't generate a PO from SRM (BBP_CREATE_PO_FROM_QUOT)

We are in Classic Mode SRM 5,  We are moving to SRM 7.  We have a job that automatically creates POs from SRM quotes if it meets certain criteria.  The system says it is creating the PO however, we get an error and no PO number back from SAP ECC.
In SRM 5 at some point in the logic of this function module it is going into class CL_BBP_BS_ADAPTER_PO_CRT_ERP10 method CREATE_DOCUMENT (this is where we put our enhancement point to store the PO number). However, in SRM 7 it does not appear to go into that method (and thus our enhancement is getting skipped). We need to know what in SRM 7 replaced this, or why it isn't going to it if it still should be.

    Hi Nacho,
creating a PO from a Bid is part of the standard processes. Important is, that the whole process starts with a Shopping Cart or a Requisition to have the whole process. In any other case a local PO is created in SRM. Based on this information the accounting information is then available.
In order you try to create a PO from a Bid Invitation only, the PO is only created locally in SRM. There is no replication / copy possible.

  • SRM 5.0 - Non-replication of Blocked Vendors from R/3 to EBP

    Hi Team,
We are using SAP SRM 5.0 for e-procurement.
    Issue:
The R/3 vendor is transferred to SRM for creation of bidder ID for e-procurement. Presently there is no check/warning message in the system while transferring blocked vendor from R/3 to SRM using BBPGETVD.
The blocked vendor while bidding using e-procurement portal gets a warning message that the 'User is blocked or archived'. With this warning message, the panic situation arises and the bidder gets confused while bidding.
    Solution:
BADI BBP_TRANSDATA_PREP was implemented. The Error message u2018Vendor is blockedu2019 was given in case of block vendor of SAP R/3 not getting replicated in SAP SRM. This did not work as the message appearing during BBPGETVD was actually the original Message of Message class BBP_BUPA Message No: 030
Original: u201CAll backend descriptions are already assigned in the systemu201D
It was changed to: u201CVendor is already transferred or blockedu201D.
This was tested and was working fine as the Vendor replication was being done individually and not in lots.
The unblocked ones were getting replicated. The blocked ones and the ones that had already got replicated were throwing up the warning message: u201CVendor is already transferred or blockedu201D.
About 5-8 Vendors both blocked and unblocked behaved as was desired. On further testing it was found that the blocked Vendors instead of throwing up the message were moving on to the next screen/stage for transferring of Vendors. On checking it was found that certain Vendors (Blocked) are appearing in an internal table and as such the required warning message is not appearing.
We are unable to comprehend where from are these Blocked Vendors appearing in the internal table?
Alternatively do kindly suggest if there are any other solutions for this issue by way of configuration change or some other method.
    Thanks.
    Best regards,
    Vijay

    Hello Vijay,
Make use of the EEWB transaction for the BO vendor replication. You have an abiltiy to set your own attributes on which/what  kind of data you want to replicate into SRM from ECC.
    All the best.

Decided to just create custom reports to view blocked invoices either in FI or MM.

  • Apparently, my company email that I have on my ipad prevents me from manually backing up to icloud. Does this mean that icloud is being blocked entirely from my ipad?

If my company email on my ipad blocks me from manually backing up to icloud, does this mean that icloud is being blocked from my ipad completely?

I'm not sure if they can completely block iCloud if you have your own Apple ID. I assume that they just don't want their data backed up to Apple's cloud.
But the more important point in this whole discussion is would the company be honked off at you for doing something on the iPad that they do not approve of.

  • Block users from retrieving during manual calculation

    Hi Everyone,
I am wondering if anyone knows how to block users from retrieving or pulling in Essbase while a calculation is running manually in EAS. We have a currency conversion calculation that manipulates the data for several minutes. Users who pull the data see erroneous data for some time and it becomes an issue.
    Thanks,
    Mark

You would have to log them out, then disable connects while you run your script. You could execute maxl commands from EAS.

  • SRM 7 - Multiple POs from 1 Shopping Cart

    Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to create multiple POs from 1 shopping cart?  1st PO will have partial order qty and the second PO will have the remaining order quantity.
    Thanks.

    Hi Everyone,
Is it possible to create multiple POs from 1 shopping cart? 1st PO will have partial order qty and the second PO will have the remaining order quantity.
In SRM7, it is not possible to create multiple POs from one SC. In sourcing you can combine multiple SC's (using BAdI BBP_SRC_DETERMINE) and process to create a single PO.
Also the BAdI BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO is used for :
If the shopping cart items do not have a source of supply, the standard system creates a purchase order with one purchase order item for each shopping cart item. This is necessary because once a source of supply is assigned to purchase order, the items can no longer be divided up between different purchase orders.
You use this Business Add-In if you want to create a single purchase order for particular shopping cart items that do not have  a source of supply assigned to them.
So if your SC has 2 or more line items, then it can be processed in sourcing for multiple PO based on above logic.
But if your SC has one line item, then splitting of qty for multiple PO is not possible.
    Hope this clarifies your query.

  • Creation of backend contract from SRM system?

    Dear Experts,
I am bit confused with the scenario of creation of backend contract from SAP SRM system? It says in few cases, based on the BAdi 'BBP_DETERMINE_Logsys', the system creates a backned contract directly in a backend ERP system. Why do we need when we have central contract?
We can meet the same requirement through central contract where we will authorize only purchasing organizations of a backend system and block the contract for local sourcing in SRM?
Secondly, How to find a contract / scheduling agreement created in a backend system when a central contract is distributed to the backend system?
    Thanks and regards,
    Ranjan

    Hello Ranjan
    question on contracts?
Note 1476307 - Importing parameter not filled in BADI BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS
in classic scenario , The Business wanted to create a contract from cockpit or via BID
    this BADI helps
    Symptom
You have implemented BAdi BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS to control the system in which contract is created in following scenarios:
    1. Creation of contract from an accepted quote / bid.
    2. Creation of contract from a requisition in SOCO.
In the method IF_EX_BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS~CONTRACT_LOGSYS_DETERMINE of the BAdi implementation, importing parameter IT_ORG doesnot have any values.
    Other terms
    Backend contract
    Reason and Prerequisites
some business wants to create a backend contract from SRM . see some Dinesh Powale / Claude  threads for more understanding.

  • Creating Multiple POs from the shopping cart

    Hi
I have a requirement to create multiple POs from shopping cart. we are in SRM 7.0 I have implemented the BADI BBP_SC_TRANSFER_BE GROUP_PO method. modified group_1 field with 1 and Doc_type with custom document type
and udpate the change parameter CT_PROC_ITEM with the above changed data for each line item.
But purchase order always taking original document type and its number range only.
Please help me in this regard,
    Regards,
    Rama.

    Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have implemented the BADI BBP_BS_GROUP_BE method GROUP_PO_BACKEND. I modified BE_DOC_TYPE with the custom document type and REFNUMBER as the group number .
But  it is generating number range for the original document type only.  when i debug the code i found that it is taking original document type (which is hardcoded contant value mentioned in the code when number range is initial).
Please suggest me  after grouping the line items with document types and REFNUMBER how to assign number ranges for each group of line items.
    Regards,
    Rama.

  • Attachment not seen in PO created from SRM SC

    Hi,
We try to send attachments from SRM shopping cart to Back end R/3. This attachment has to be captured in PO item.
But it does not appear there. We have made all relevant configurations.
When i search for the attachment in CV02N i can find the document created with the attachment and link is there between the document and the PO number.
Even when the DMS document is attached to the PO manually and then viewed again in the PO through ME23N i could not find the attachment.
I have made the same set of configurations in ECC6 and it appears to work fine.

  • Document transfer from SRM to DMS through content server

    Hi Everybody,
In one of scenarios we need to transfer documents attached to the shopping cart line items in SRM to R/3.
For that we followed the following procedure.
1.In the SRM to R/3 system, the attachments are driven by the BADIs.
2.In the BADI, if we define DMS_C1_ST as the storage category for R/3 Database, the DMS should work
3.The existing DMS, the customized content server is Z_DMS.
4.Using SRM (with Z_DMS)we are able to create the Document Info Record
5.The attachments are not reflected in DMS (driven through SRM)
6.When the attachments are added in the DMS manually, DMS works perfect
I am thinking there might be some configuration required in content server for the conversion of original application files.
If anybody have the solution for this please post here.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh.

  • In PDP cycle is it possible to pull back transfered PR (from SRM to ECC)?

    Dear Friends,
We are working on PDP cycle where backend ECC Purchase Requisition is transferred to SRM client via program BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER so that the procurement activity is carried out in SRM.
Now business decides to discontinue the procurement activity from SRM and continue in R/3 only. Which mean business would like to create Purchase Order in R/3 with reference to PR.
So we delete the shopping cart created in SRM and tried to change the Purchasing group so that system removed the procurement profile tag from PR. But system does not allow.
My question is, is it possible to pull back the PR from SRM to ECC after it has been transferred to SRM?
Or in standard process there is no provision to reverse the situation after a PR is transferred from ECC to SRM.
Can anyone through some light on this?
    Regards,
    Sandeep Parab

    Hi Sandeep,
by standard there is no option to send Reqs back to ECC. A moved Req is
blocked in ECC with a flag in EBAN, that sourcing is carried out externally. This
block is removed, when the PO is created. I implemented a push back mechanism
with an extra button in the sourcing cockpit within a classic environment. The
button first takes the SC information and identifies the Req in ECC, sets the
status on blank and releases the Req for sourcing. Finally the SC is deleted from
the sourcing cockpit. With a good programmer the story can be quickly done.
    Cheers,
    Claudia

    Hi Experts,
We are working with extended classic scenario on SRM 7.0 & ERP EHP4.
We are creating POR manually in SRM and also recieving POR from SUS system.
When we accept the POR it is not updating the ERP.
We have enabled the PI scenario for transfering POR from SRM to ERP by using the Proxy and IDOC(ORDRSP) but the XML is not generated when the POR is accepted.
Can any one help me how to transfer the POR created in SRM to ERP.
Is there any way we can generate XML message of POR with status Accepted.

    Hi,
I have tried this define event option.
