Supress button "accept modifcations" after rejecting SHC-item

Hello,
We are using SRM 5.0.
After rejecting an item in the shopping cart approval-process, or rejecting a shopping cart completely, the user, in his shopping cart overview a button "accept modifications" appears (next to a button "Modify".
I would like to know how we can supress this button "accept modifications" or at least dishabilate its function.
Anyone has experience with this? How did they succeed?

I have a issue.
I have created a form in module pool which has a certain set of feilds. I have placed two buttons in the form namely " Submit " & Update. When ever the submit button is clicked in the form the form which is an attachment goes to the respective approvers for approval.
Issue : I have not placed any Accept or Reject Buttons in the form, I want these buttons to get displayed when the form is displayed in the SAP inbox of the user.
I am not aware of the process, that how the Accept & Reject buttons appear when the form is used for approvals in the workflow.
Can any one suggest me the process, that how do i use these buttons while displaying when the work item is clicked in the users inbox but not when the form is intially filled.
- The approval or Reject buttons should not get displayed when the user is initially filling up the form.
- The Approval or Reject Buttons should be displayed when the work item is clicked in the sap inbox of the user, instead of update & Submit.
On click of the work item - the accept & Reject buttons should be displayed but not the Update & Submit and this should be displayed only when the work item is clicked.
Kindly suggest me the way how to get that ..if possible some peice of code would also be good.

Hi Shanky,
You can create two module pool programs for requirement.
One is for trigger the workflow and other one is to get the approval.
For the approval, create a dialog method and call the screen using call transaction.
So at run time when the user clicks the work item it will display the Approver screen. under Approve or Reject button you have to call the function module, SAP_WAPI_COMPLETE_WORKITEM to complete the work item.

SRM 7.0 'Add Approver' button disabled after rejection

Hi Experts,
I'm working on SRM 7.0(BRF) RFx workflow. I have configured the process level schema and the acceptance by contact person in customizing. When any of the approver rejects the document, it comes back to the creator which is right. But i see the 'Add Approver' button as disabled. But while creating a new document it is showing the 'Add Approver' button, only after rejection, the creator is seeing the button as disabled. Is it the standard behaviour in SRM7.0 ?
Can you guys share your thoughts on this..

Open status of Credit Memo after rejecting all line items

Dear Gurus
I am facing a problem. In my company we are using 2 credit memo types. One is CR and other ZCR (Copy of CR). I have tried both but both have same problem. I have also tried creating credit memos with reference to billing document, sales document and without reference also but the issue is same.
Problem is this we create credit memo with VA01 and post it with VF01. After posting if we cancel its posting with VF11 and reject the line items in VA02 the status of credit memo remain open. Cancellation documents are ok and completed but only credit memo in VA02 remain open even after rejecting all line items.
I have checked incomplete log of sales document type (CR and ZCR) in VOV8 and item types (G2N) in VOV7. All fields which are defined in incompletion log are there in document header and item.
Following is the copy paste data of Header Status tab

if you mean to say to check Reason for rejection's settings in OVAG i have checked it and all rejection reasons are being in use in all other sales documents too. They are working fine in all other sales document. Issue is only in these two credit memos types.

Too expensive
Competitor better
Guarantee
Unreasonable request
Cust.to receive replacement
Transaction is being checked
These are reasons and Stat column is empty for all. Other 3 columns have no tick in any reason.

This is not uncommon. Not all apps are available in all stores, just as not all OSx apps are available in IOS. The reasons are many, commercial, legal, copyright, whatever but it won't change your position. If it says not available, then that is the situation.

Approvers of Rejected line items not getting removed -Process controlled WF

I have developed shopping cart approval using process controlled workflow. We are using SRM 7.0, patch level 9.
Decision set used is item based approval for partial documents (Type 4)
While testing I observed that when I reject any item, the corresponding approvers of that items are not getting removed.
As per your requirement, if we create SC with 2 items A and B. Based on various conditions
2 process levels are determined for item A, say approver X and approver Y at respective level.
3 process levels are determined for item B, say approver X, approver Z1 and Z2.
Approver X, rejects item A and approves item B. Since one item is rejected, the work item is sent to requestor for acceptance. All process levels are of type "Approval". Once the requestor clicks on "Accept" button, the item A, which is rejected gets deleted from the shopping cart.
However now when I see the Approval Process Overview, the current approver shown is Y. The work item is sent to approver Y and the value of the shopping cart is shown as 0.00. Logically the approver Y should have been removed from approval process.
Could you let me know if I am missing any step or do I need to do some coding to get rid of approvers of rejected items.

We were using N-step process level on the item level contrast to example provide by SAP of N-step process leve on Header level. SAP uses standard tables /SAPSRM/D_WF_015 and /SAPSRM/D_WF_016 to implement the logic. We have customized the solution with logic on same line of sap but using bespoke tbale ZSAPSRM_D_WF_016. Let me know if anyone needs solution.

Shopping cart status showing as Awaiting Approval even after Rejection.

Hi All,
We are on SRM 5.0 .After rejection of shopping cart , if the requestor checks the staus of shopping cart in Check Status link , it is showing as 'In Your Inbox' which i believe is correct but the status for this object id is still Awaiting Approval in transcation BBP_PD.
Why is the status not geting updated in transcation BBP_PD?

One more strange thing is that there are some shopping carts with status
Stats:

But these are very old.
All the shopping carts that were rejected in recent times are..

But I have never seen the Accept Changes button in my system , so howcome the old shopping carts have status Release Rejected?

Why there is not decline button in 4S after upgraded to iOS7

In iOS6, the "Decline" button was there along with "Remind me", "Reply with Message" and "Accept".
After upgrading my iPhone 4S with iOS7, the "Decline" is missing. Do you have any idea to get it back or its a bug in iOS7

Decline only shows up when your are using your iPhone in another application. You can also tap twice the Sleep/Wake button to decline the call as well.

Contract after rejection is not routed to contract owner

Hi,
I am facing a very strange issue in PCW for contract . After rejection the contract is not appearing in the UWL of the contract owner and when i go and see in the worklfow log i see that its lying with WF-BATCH.
I am usng the task 40008003 for accept/adjust task for rejection in the acceptance by the contact person section in /sapsrm/wf_process for my custom schema .
It works for PO but surprisingly its not working for contract . I am not able to figure out anything from SLG1 either. I tried debugging with WF-BATCH but could not come to a conclusion. Please any suggestion.

SC STATUS DISPLAYED WRONGLY AFTER REJECTION

Hi All,
I have implemented the BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI for n-level SC approval WF ws14000133.Now my problem is when the approver rejects the Witem,the witem doesnt go back to the requestor for accepting the changes for the rejected Witem.
Also the Witem (after rejecting teh complete SC)does *** back to the requestor..but with the status "Awaiting appproval" instead of "In your Inbox".
Also when I see the Approval Preview for that SC,it shows that the SC is approved instead of rejected.
With the note 790027 the status is getting updated but not the apporval preview.
Has anybody across such problem?

Wrong workflow step after rejection

we have a workitem which is sent to the Approver for approving the travel expense. (PRAP).in SAPP T&E module (travel and expense)
When the Approver executes the workitem, he has an option to either approve or reject the travel expense.
Approval
After approval of travel expenses, the approver can either be set as complete or cancel. However if the approver cancels it, although it remains in inbox the approver cannot process it further since the Expense has already been approved.
This is fine as per our scenario
Rejection
The issue in rejection is that, once the approver rejects it in PRAP and the task is set as compelte, the workflow triggers an email that the expense has been approved whereas in reality the approver has rejected it. Currently the workflow is only working if the approver cancels the workitem after rejecting it. The workitem also no longer remains in the inbox. We have checked the Branching condition and it is defined properly but nevertheless it seems to only work when the work item is cancelled in rejection scenario
Any pointers on how this issue can be resolved will be useful

Make use of the attributes that are provided in BUS2089 Business object.Make use of these 2 Attributes in your workflow Approval status,Settlement status. You need to check what value it becomes when you reject it and accordingly filter it.

We need to stop the user from approving/rejecting a SC at item level.
On EBP Home screen , click on Approval link , then click on magnifying glass,there are two radio buttons .I hide the radio buttons with help of [this thread.|How to hide Approve and reject radio buttons at item level.;
Although the radio buttons are hidden but still if the user presses "Save" button the SC is approved by default because the Approved RBs are selected at item level.
How can I initialize both radio buttons ie. none RB is checked so that clicking save does nto approves/rejetcs a SC .
Or can i use some BADI for this..please suggest.

As you said,its not possible to avoid approval/rejection at item level on click of save button and coding a new save button will be very complex so I created two radio buttons (approval / rejection ) at header level If the Approval RB at header level is selected , all the approval RBs at item level are selected automatically selected and same applies for rejection RB at header level.The item level RBs are invisible/hidden so the user has no idea of item level RBs.
Now I am facing two problems..
1)If I put the code for RBs in Template 120 , it also ahows up on other screens like in step2 , while creating the SC.
If i put the code in Template 140 , i get it in step3 while creating the SC.
In which template should I code the RBs so that they are visible in the approval screen or is there a way to know from where the template was called I mean was it called during SC creation or directly clicking on approval link OR can we check if the user has employee role or manager role so that the approval / rejection RBs are displayed only for managers ?
2) For this JS function to work perfectly , i need to know the number of items in the SC.
Which variable in the Template 120 of BBPSC01 contains the no. of items in SC?

FMS 3.0 stops accepting connections after 1-3 days, restart required

Hi,
We have a custom application that is running on FMS. Server is dedicated just for fms, there is only one application running on the server, with more instances, average traffic is 3-15 simultaneous users. The problem is, server suddenly stops accepting connections (after 1-3 days from restart), from this point it is impossible to connect to any instance, and fms server must be restarted. When the server crashes, the admin console can see all open instances, can close instances, can restart fms. There is nothing logged, that would explain this sudden failure.
Second problem is, cores are connected and disconnected too often, causing client to reconnect (takes 2-5 seconds).
Do you have any idea what is causing these problems?
Hardware: 4 x quadcore Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E7440 @ 2.40GHz, 32 GB ram
OS: CentOS release 5.3 (Final), kernel: 2.6.18-128.4.1.el5
cpu and mem usage: 1-5% max

We have seen similar issues and the best work around is to have your clients connect on alternate cores/servers. The way to accomplish this really depends on your type of application.

*Secondary mouse button automatically releases after 3 sec even if still pressed* since upgrade to snow leopard. I have to use extra switches attached via USB being unable to move my arms.
Apart from that Airport works after adding Location, I am still not able to access internet or mail, skype and time machine backups work. Switching to my neighbours unsecured WLAN I have no problems accessing mail and internet.
A guest with a PC was also unable to use my WLAN, he was able to connect (gave him password) but could not use internet.
Any ideas? The "secondary mouse button automatically releases after 3 sec" issue seems not to be posted yet.

I understand that when you power off your notebook it automatically restarts in 4 seconds.
You have tried several steps to try and resolve this but there is no change.
As it repeated the behavior with the hard drive removed, you know it is not an issue with Windows.
You have tried updating the bios and returning it to bios defaults but no change.

This does suggest you edit your registry which does have the potential to cause issues, so be very careful. I would also suggest backing up your registry before you attempt it, just in case.
Back up the registry from Windows.microsoft.com
If that has not helped, I would try removing the Cmos or RTC battery for 30 seconds and then replacing it.
