SUS invoice "check payment" status

Hi
We are implementing MM-SUS scenario with SRM7.0 and ECC6 EhP 4 back end. When we process invoice from SUS its fairly replicated and posted in ERP and payment is made against the invoice in ERP. Now wehn I click on "Check payment status" button in SUS, the invoice web page turns to balnk and no information revtrieved from ERP.
The customization for "check payment" is in active for SHOW_INVOICE_PAY_STATUS. And RFC connections are healthy. Could not understand why system could not get the payment status from back end
Any inputs are appreciated.

      I am working on MM-SUS scenario with ECC 5.0 and SRM 5.0. I am transferring ECC invoice to SUS to enable vendor to display the invoice. Once payment is made, amount paid and date also can be seen by the vendor by pressing "Check payment status". But is there any way to display check number given in the ECC to flow to SUS?.

    Hi Iqtidar,
    I don't have a straight forward answer for your query.
    You can think of using Substitution, with an User Exit, that can be used to populate the check number in one of the unused BSEG fields
    But, there is a simple workaround.
    You can create an query (SQ01) with Info set built on PAYR table.
    In the selection screen user
    PAYR-UBHKT ( GL a/c No for our bank a/c / bank sub-a/c)
    along with other selection parameters like
    PAYR-ZBUKR (Paying company code)
    PAYR-HBKID (House Bank)..........

  • Invoice Payment status in SRM Browser

    Dear SRMers,
    System Information: SRM 4.0, R/3 4.6 c
    We have a situation where users want to see the invoice payment status in the SRM browser. We have not implemented the Invoice module in SRM and invoices are posted and updated in R/3.
    Please suggest what is the best way to accomplish displaying the invoice payment status in SRM browser preferrably in the shopping cart header or in the follow on documents area with less custom work ? Any ideas are welcome.

       As explained in one of my previous thread,running the report "BBP_IV_UPDATE_PAYMENT_STATUS" does not update the status in SRM .So for this there will be a lot of std modifictaions required to update the status in the SRM browser(SC history/follow on docs) i.e. ITS template as well as the std includes.

    Normally rejected payments (including cheques) must be processed as  IS-U "Returns".
    Therefore the returns history report RFKKRF02 (transaction FPM3) will provide you the history of the rejected payment/s.

    SAP FI Output type SAP19
    Payment Terms print "Payment Due Immediately" rather than actual terms.
    i.e. invoice 208615 - payment terms US02 - should print "Net 60" however prints "Payment Due Immediately".
    Is this hard coded and if so, can it be corrected and when?

    Using fb12, I am selecting customer invoice
    then in new popup I am giving  invoice number and fiscal year.  then it is giving message on status bar as 'customer invoice requested'.
    Then i am going to F.61 and executing by giving  in pop up -->correpspondence, company code, document number and  fiscal year.
    Then a spool is getting created and I am able to see the form output in /nsp01 where the error is occuring .
    Could you please suggest me hwo to find out the form name and driver program name.

    Reason and Prerequisites
    Accidentally some business transaction events (BTE) for the new solution for deferred tax were delivered in an active state in support packages of SAP releases 4.70 and ERP 2004. The solution is available in the SAP-Standard only from release ERP 2005. Also in ERP 2005 the new deferred tax can cause problems in countries for which the solution is not released.
    These BTEs perform strict tests for documents containing tax codes for deferred tax.
    Solution
    If you are using the old deferred tax, i.e. you use report RFUMSV25 to create transfer postings, you can safely deactivate these BTEs.
    Remove the following BTEs:

    00001030  DI-TAX SET_DEFTAX_ITEM
    00001040  DI-TAX CREATE_DEFTAX_ITEM_REVERS

    In ERP 2005 (ECC 600) the application key is 'FI-TAX' instead of the above mentioned 'DI-TAX'.
    To do this start transaction FIBF
    -> Settings
      -> P/S Modules
        ...of an SAP Application
    Mark the entries from the list above and delete them.
    This deactivates the functionality of 'new deferred tax' for all company codes in all clients on the system. This means that no data is written to table deftax_item at posting time. Report RFUMSV50 can still be started, but it will not process new documents any more.
    If in ERP 2005 problems arise in one country but the new deferred tax is used in another country you must not deactivate the BTEs completely. In this case it is possible to restrict the BTEs to be active only in certain countries using the column 'country' in transaction FIBF.

    Hi Grace
    Future dated payments are the post dated cheques (in layman's language). For example - When we take some office space on rent, we need to pay monthly rent for it. Generally, the owner of the office would like to have the cheques provided to him on the date of agreement dated for the respective month (as a matter of security). These cheques will bear the date for the respective months. Lets say you enter into an agreement on 01-May-2010 for one year, you will provide 12 checks dated 01-May-2010, 01-Jun-2010, 01-Jul-2010 etc. All these checks would be post dated payments.
    These payments do not reduce the cash/bank balances as on the date of issue. This happens on the date of maturity of payment (check date). These payments are entered into the oracle system by using the payment method "Bills Payable" or any similar payment methods.
    The accounting for these payments (at the time of recording the payment) - Supplier Liability Dr. and Future Dated Payment Liability credit. It will not have much impact on the trial balance except for the fact that the liability code combination would change -- from supplier liability to future dated liability. On the date of maturity, when you run the report to matrue the bills payable, the status of the payment changes to negotiable and then the accounting takes place - Future Dated liability dr... and cash/cash clearing credit.

  • MM-SUS-Invoice- ECS Scenario

    Hi Experts,
    We have a client requirement for activating SUS functionality. The main objective is Suppliers should able to check their own Invoice Statuses which are created and posted in back end R/3.
    We are using Extended Classic Scenario (SRM4.0 and ECC6.0).
    My Doubts: I have come to know through some of my friends and SDN forums:
    1. To check Invoice status in SUS portal, the Invoice should have originated from SUS. Then only it is possible to check/find status from SUS portal.
    2. In Extended Classic Scenario, it is not possible to replicate PO's from R/3 to SUS portal.
    3. Is it part of SAP standard Scenario or purely custom development would be required.
    If above 2 points are true, is there any alternate solution available for SUS usage for Invoices while using ECS scenario.
    Kindly advice.

    Thanks for your response.
    In my scenario, All POs are available in R/3 irrespective of whether it is created and posted in R/3 or it is replicated from SRM/EBP (ECS Scenario).
    For this sake, I would like to go for MM-SUS implementation.
    My questions is:
    1. Can I send all PO's from R/3 to SUS ( POs created in R/3 + POs replicated from EBP/SRM).
    2. Can I get Invoice(Invoice with PO Reference) statuses to SUS, if Invoice is created and posted in R/3 with custom development.
    3. Can I get Invoice(Non-PO Invoice) status to SUS, if Invoice is created and posted in R/3.
    Kindly response and help to understand more about what SUS can and can not do.

    Dear chakri
    Go to OBA7, select document type RV and see whether S1 is maintained for the field "Reverse Document Type".  Similarly again select S1 document type and check whether the same document type ie.S1 is maintained in "Reverse Document Type".
    Unless you maintain these datas, you will face problem.

  • MM-SUS: SUS invoice creation without default tax code and no tax amount

    Hello All:
    When i create SUS invoice based on accepted GR(GR is transfered form MM per program RPODDELVRY and my system has implemented note#1351489) , the SUS invoice tax code in item is default from SUS customizing, but not from MM-PO item tax code.  On the other hand, the tax amount is always zero even if  i change the tax code and press "update price".
    So then i press "send" to transfer SUS invoice to MM, system jump following 2 error messages:
    Errors:Error in parameter transfer ( Item 1 )
    Errors:Active status of document SUS Invoice 5000000035 is Incomplete . No changes are possible.
    My SRM Server release 701, and business scenario is MM-SUS
    In MM: customizing OBCA/OBCD/OMRY  is completed
    In SUS:customziing SRM server -> cross application basic settings -> tax calculation is completed.
                1.determine system for tax calculation --> R/3 tax calculation occurs in backend
                2.enter tax code --> I1 = 17% default sales tax, I2 = 13% sales tax
                3.Assign enterprise buyer tax code to FI system -->  I1 = MM J1 , I2 = MM J2
    Please advise what's the sulotion, thanks.

    Hello ALL,
    I am also facing same problem, although on different version SRM 7.0 SAPKIBKV06
    We are having issues as stated below....
    1) Tax code in PO line item should be defaulted while processing SUS Invoice.
    As per the current behaviour SUS invoice tax code in item is defaulted from SUS customizing, but not from MM-PO item tax code.
    2) In SUS Invoice the tax value is not getting populated even though the setting in IMG is R/3 tax calculation occurs in backend and for this all relevanat attributes related to purchasing org. BUK and ACS are maintained under PPOMA.
    3) Finally when I try to post the invoice in SUS system get the below error message
    Errors: Error in parameter transfer ( Item 1 )
    Errors: Active status of document SUS Invoice 5000000XXX is Incomplete . No changes are possible.
    All the relevant config is maintained
    In MM: customizing OBCA/OBCD/OMRY  maintained
    In SUS:customziing SRM server -> cross application basic settings -> tax calculation maintained.

    Hi SAP Gurus,
       I am stuck with a small issue here. I am trying to post an invoice through FB60 with same vendor, same comp code, same GL and same reference and I am aware there are two settings to do the duplicate invoice check one is through vendor master (payment transaction screen) and the other is OMRDC transaction where we check certain fields to validate invoices based upon same values. now when I take a vendor without that vendor master config for duplicate invoice check and checking all the fields in OMRDC transaction the system doesn't validate or throw any error while posting FB60 with all the same values. so is there any other configuration available apart from these two configuration settings?
      My requirement is the configuration already exists which checks duplicate invoice based upon same invoice date  for all the vendors of a company code and I need to change the configuration setting back where it ignores checking invoice date. it doesn't show any kind of error in my test whether I make change in OMRDC transaction or not.
