Svd 8.20 error

Hi,
I get the follwoing error with the SVD decomposition VI :
"[...] exception error while calling a dll [...]
NI_AALBase.lvlib:A x Vector.vi:5"
I have installed LV 8.20 on another PC and it works properly !
PC that works :
windows XP sp 2
dell dimension 8300
Intel P4 2.8GHz and 1Go RAM
PC that doesn't work :
windows XP sp 2
dell Optiplex GX745
Intel core2CPU 6400@ 2.13GHz and 2Go RAM
Does somebody have an idea ?

Hi,
Unfortunately, I don't have any error number.
You can find a screenshot of the error that occurs when I run the SVD decomposition...
The error number on the picture occurs only when the matrix A isn't set. (In this case, the error doesn't appear)
When I set this matrix to [1,0,0;0,1,0;0,0,1] for eg, the error occurs.
I find a new strange behaviour : << when I run one more time the vi, after changing the error indicator, it works !! >>
Nevertheless, I restart Labview 8.20, run the VI, and the error still occurs...

General LS Linear Fit - Number of Equations

Hi Folks,
I'm using the "General LS Liner Fit" VI to interpolate Measurement Data depending on 2 Variables. To do this i would like to use an poly-equation of the form:
z = A + Bx + Cy + Dxy + Exyy ... Kxxxyyy ... etc.
This sems to work fine, but im not able to generate more than ~ 100 Parameters. If i try to do so the VI doesen't give me any results.
I have ~ 2000 Data Points so i create a H-matrix of 2000 x 100 Values as Input for the VI. Can this be too much? For an Matrix of 2000 x 81 Values the System still works an takes ~2 Seconds to evaluate a result.
If anyone knows this problem, knows a better solution or can tell me what im doing wrong please help me.

What I am seeing is that all of the algorithms (SVD, Givens, Givens2, etc.) work up to 90 coefficients (although SVD sometimes reports error -20003 in my application), but fail starting at 91 coefficients. I need something more like 600+ coefficients.
Has anyone run across an alternative LS Fit VI? I found a customer-sumitted alternative called "General_LS_Linear_Fit+.vi", but it still uses the same NI DLL function.
I wouldn't mind writing one myself if someone could point me to a write-up of any of the algorithms.

Maybe there is an error in the SVD Decomposition.vi

I use the SVD Decomposition.vi to analyze the matrix F.Then I did the same thing in the Matlab,the two answers is not the same.Anybody can help me?

Error when displaying xellerate form

Hello,
I have the following error when displaying the form of any xellerate users :
ERROR,03 May 2011 10:40:56,273,[XELLERATE.APIS],Class/Method: tcFormDefinitionOperationsBean/getFormFieldPropertyValue encounter some problems: Property 'Column Names' has not defined for the form field '-19'
All is working fine, just this error that is diplayed each time I want to display a user form. In my formMetadata.xml, I have the following definition for the field -19, it is the manager :

Hello,
I'm new to OIM. I am a new hire to a group that had a contractor setup the whole system. I'm finding a similar issue on our system here. I've looked through the database and cannot seem to find the issue. Error happens when from the webapp clicking on "Create IT Resource".
From the Error Log:
Class/Method: tcFormDefinitionOperationsBean/getFormFieldPropertyValue encounter some problems: Property 'Column Names' has not defined for the form field '-82'

Why does BR*Tools return with the error, No Valid SAP license?

We are using BRTools 640 on HPUX and Oracle 9.2 Now we use BRTools on the other systems where Oracle resides, but when they got installed on this new system it creates the error: Invalid SAP license.
There is no SAP installed on any of the systems. I am coming into the middle of this and have sratched my head over it until I am now balder than I was before.
The ora<SID> user is there and so is the <SID>adm. The directories are ok with the correct rights and permissions. So what am I missing? I know it has to be something that I am missing. Any help out there?

No this did not resolve the issue. Here is what happen.
Implemented note 586618 and then completed the semophore part. That worked as is it should. Then tired a simple BRARCHIVE and this is what I got:

This is somewhat irritating because as you I though and you probably did also, note 584418 should have fixed it.
I have searched the OSS, but to no avail..so if you have any suggestions it would be appreciated. The really weird thing is it works on other systems. I think something is just missing and I am just too blind right now to see it.

Errors in Offline Backup via DB13 SAP & Oracle on Linux

OS: Linux Database : Oracle Systems Affected : Production & Disaster Recovery Server

We have offline backup scheduled every friday via SAP the backup runs fine & copies all the files in the backup directory but when i go see the backup logs in DB 14 i see the Offline Backup ending with Error Code 0005 & when i see the Detail logs i see following in red

Please also note that we have a Disaster Recovery Server too & the above mentioned errors are in our (Production )Primary Database & once this backu finished the DR Server stops getting any log files, this happens only when this offline backup on every friday runs,
Issues
The backup ends with errors although the backup file is generated & all data is copied
DR Server dont get redo log files after this offline backup on every friday

for the Cp errors i will see the permissions in backup/UHP ( this error is happening in online backup ) my main concern is the error occured in offline backup as it is somehow connected with our DR SERVER NOT GETTING THE LOG FILES EVEN AFTER THE SYSTEM IS UP ( yes if the primary is down no logs will be shipped to standby i know that but even after the primary is up after a offline backup via SAP via DB 13 the standby dont get any log files unless i restart the database and SAP )
So the error in the offline backup mentioned above in my post occurred at 29 OCT 15: 45 20

Brarchive - BR0301W - ORA-00257: archiver error

Hi all,
when calling /usr/sap/B16/SYS/exe/run/brarchive -u / -p initB16.sap -d rman_util -sd and there already is an archiver stuck I get the following error:

brarchive tries to create a pfile from the spfile before calls rman to archive the offline log files.
I assume, that this is done by calling sqlplus with 'CONNECT /'' which fails because connecting as sysdba is necessary in this situation.
Any suggestions how to circumvent this, so that the above error message doesn't show up?
The problem doesen't seem to be critical because brarchive still is able to call RMAN successfully and by this the archiver stuck is resolved. It would be better, though, if brarchive doesn't run into any errors at all.

What I'd actualy like to know if there's any way to explicitly tell brarchive to connect with the sysdba option?

I am facing the backup issue for long time. i have tried with different solution. But still i couldnot clear.

System Details :
OS : HP-UX
DB : ORACLE 9.2.0.6.0
SAP : ECC6 , Kernel : 304 and DBTOOL : 52 (latest one).
I am taking the database and arch backup into tape.

Database backup is fine and archive log backup also taking but end of the process its throughing the error.

Prior to running the backup I have copied the backint file to the brtools directory and the INITSID.UTL to the database directory.
backup_dev_type in initsid.sap is set to util_file. Should util_file_online be set instead of util_file?
The value "util_par_file" parameter in initsid.sap is set to the location of INITSID.UTL
One thing that I noticed which was a mismatch between the initsid.sap file and the configuration done on Networker is that
In initsid.sap backup_type = offline is set however in networker this is set to Online consistent backup.

Earlier there was one job configured which would do a consistent backup + offline redo logs
Now,
I created two jobs in EMC Legato Networker (one for the backup and the other for the redo logs). That was i work around i found.
It is a work around that worked

Hi Diego and Sunny,
There is two part to it.....
The notes implemented in my system are as follows. and this has happened when I was told to update my SAP-TAO, which is acttually for SAP Tao client to work on 64 bit windows.
The thing were absolutely fine before I went for TAO. ..(Dont please aske me to revert back with backup - that is the easiest solution and probably then I would never post it on forum)

BRARCHIVE stage copy (ftp) ERROR

Dear All,
We are recently facing a typical BRARCHIVE error, where we are moving the generated offline redo logs using FTP to a different central server & backup to tape will be taken from the same. But from a few days we are facing a error as shown below

as per above error, at first the redo log file is getting saved, but not able to find the same at the central (target) archive log server. we referred to the BR errors Notes & others in market place & browsed a lot on the topic, but nothing was related & helpful to solve.
Our environment is Win 2003/Oralce/ECC6.0
Suggestions are welcome & Please advice

Hello Nick,
Size of 1 archive log is 48.361 MB & total no of archived logs moved to central server are 7 (total size 341.445 MB) from the time of the start of BRarchive run.
When it was processing the 8th Archive log (which it founds, process, then shows as SAVED) to central archive server, it throws the error as mentioned in the post.

When I recheck the location of the archive log, it is sill present in the application server, rather to be in central archive server.
My issue is, when it was able to process the last 7 logs properly, why it is showing an error for 8th log?
Note: when I run the brarchive command again, the log will be moved properly (where the command use to run uninterrupted for more than 8 days before, bcos of this issue it is terminating in 2 days)
