Collection Management_Promise to Pay

Dear All
We run the worklist and create the promise to pay for overdue amount. But in the column promise to pay no value is coming. Can anybody tell us is this the standard behavior of the system or we are missing something.
Thanks and Best Regards
Farhan Qaiser

Farhan -
I just tried it in my Sandbox env and it shows immediately both in Invoice tab as well as Promise to Pay tab.
Also it appears instantaneously in the two "State" columns in Invoice tab. Same is the case when that invoice is selected in Invoice tab and hitting the "list the Promises for invoice" button.
All of the above is Standard SAP behavior, if there is any deviation from above, please check your 1) proper installation of product/packages 2) all standard settings are in place. If everything seems "normal" raise an OSS mesg.

  • Bought books that are now part of a collection, and I would like to buy the collection but not pay for previously boughten books. Is this possible or will I have to pay for them again? (Tsd training mechanics collection)

    ipad mini 2 retina
    ios 8.2
i bought some books about automotive engines by TSD training. A total of 3 books.
Earlier i was browsing the iBooks App Store and noticed these books were now part of a 14 course mechanics collection of books.
I wanted to buy the remaining 11 courses (iBooks) in this collection thinking I could just "complete my album" per say as you can when purchasing a collection of music on a given album but it seems I do not have this option. Will I have to pay for these 3 books again if I buy the collection? is there a way around this? Can I choose only the remaining books I need?  Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance

If you want to buy the other books in the collection, you will not be charged for the books you already purchased.

  • Help please: Issue setting up collecting payments using Pay Pal

Our form is created, our Pay PAL account is created and banking info confirmed.  Pay Pal account was registered and permissions granted.
Defined the purchased filelds(1) tied to total amount due...and added a fixed 2.00 handling charge.  Basically everything appears okay.
When I do the test the submit button is changed to proceed to checkout(and i see mc, visa, discover logos as well), but instead of going to screen where I can enter Credit card information it goes to pay pal login screen for our account.  Something is obviouslly set up wrong.  Can you help me with what could be the issue?  I was hoping to finish form setup soon.

    Hi;
I would be happy to take a look.  You can share your form with me following these instructions http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2462 with [email protected]
I don't' know what exactly you are seeing on the Paypal page, but the correct behavior after clicking "Proceed to checkout" is to be taken to a Paypal login page, it sounds like it is working correctly
Since you are on your own computer where you sign into Paypal it would show your Paypal account/login like this:
In the upper right it shows the amount of the transaction and if you sign in with a different Paypal account (can't sign in with the same account you registered) it will continue with the transaction, alternatively to test you can click the "Check out as guest" next to "Don't have an account" where you would enter payment information.
If something else is happening your can share your form and I'll take a look.
    Thanks,
    Josh

  • Collection agency illegally added collection to report?

Just found this today after re newing my monthly subscription here.   Here is the story.  A girl i know had a collection with this collection agency.  She ask me to help her out so i told her i would pay the collection for her.  This collection is totally hers 100% in her name etc.  So i call in to the collection agency and pay the collection for her on my debit card.  This collection was in no way associated with me or has never been on my credit report and never was in my name or associated to my name. So guess what happens next??  Few days after i pay it for her it shows up on MY credit report as a paid collection!  **bleep**? I will call them first thing this morning and demand they call Experian to remove asap but what else should i do?  This has to be illegal i would think.

its with experian.  I had applied for credit for something and was denied because of a collection account or public record and i was like huh? i dont think so.  So i came back on here and there it was.  I called the collection agency and spoke to a lady who said we understand it should have never been on there and we have requested three times to have it deleted but it hasnt.  So i called experian right after and that lady says they havent received any request for deletion so she has started a dispute and is going to reach out to them.  I have requested from the collection agency something in email saying it should be deleted so i can upload it to experian but i already know i will be locked down for 30 days probably while i wait this bs out!

  • Bulk collection PL/SQL table

    Hi all,
    10g version 10.2.0.1
What approach can I take to accomplish the following.
I need to build a collection based on the result set of two SQL statements within a loop.
    Example:
    FUNCTION( get_info )IS
    RETURN retrieval_pkg_public_ty
    PIPELINED
    TYPE ret_tab IS TABLE OF ret_rec;
    FOR i IN 1 .. 2
    LOOP
    SELECT...
    BULK COLLECT into ret_tbl
    FROM(SELECT...
    FROM(SELECT..
    quite a large SQL statement...
    WHERE
x = parameter_value, --parameter changes on based on i values
y = parameter_value, --parameter changes on based on i values
    END LOOP;
    FOR i IN ret_tbl.FIRST..ret_tbl.LAST
    LOOP
    PIPE ROW...
    END LOOP;
I can use a global temporary table to hold the results of each loop and them select from gtt, however I would prefer to use a table function.
    thanks
    Mark

Currently, I have a procedure that is called within a package that returns a SYS_REFCURSOR.
    Current code in procedure is
    FOR i IN 1..2
    LOOP
    INSERt INTO gtt
END LOOP;Why not simply populate the GTT using an INSERT INTO gtt SELECT ... FROM source WHERE .. ?
I wanted to avoid creating a gtt to accomplish above. Why? What problems with this GTT approach do you think there are?
The cursor only returns around 50 records. The record has around 20 data fieldsRemember that if you store this as a PL/SQL collection (there's no such thing as PL "+table+"), this collection resides in expensive private process memory (the PGA). If there a 100 sessions using this code, then there will be a 100 copies of this collection.
On the other hand, a GTT does not reside in expensive private memory. And it can scale to a 1000 rows in future, without affecting performance (remember that GTTs can be indexed - collections not). For a collection, you will pay an excessive price in memory for keeping that 1000 rows in the PGA.
GTTs are not a bad thing. Collections are not a bad thing. They are tools for addressing specific problems. Your task is to select the right tool for the job. Caching SQL row data in a PL/SQL collection is almost never the right tool for the job, as it requires private process memory and uses a very simplistic data structure (does not support indexes and so on).

  • Bill in collections on a current account?

I have had my account for probably 10 years now, and I just saw there was something on my credit report recently from Verizon Wireless -- some kind of bill in collections. We pay the bill, and the account is still current/active, so how can I have something in collections? I'm going to talk with the Financial department about it, but I'm just frustrated.

The larger issue is the damage it is causing you to the three credit bureaus; information on you to other credit grantors.
It is not accurate yet you may not have caught it in time.
    http://www.ftc.gov/enforcement/rules/rulemaking-regulatory-reform-proceedings/fair-debt-collection-practices-act-text
However you can take Verizon and the three credit agencies to court and collect huge sums of money for the false reporting by Verizon and if the credit bureaus don't remove it huge sums from them as well.
A good tactic is to apply for a home mortgage or new car loan which is very high priced. They turn you down because Verizon is reporting false information and you can sue for three times the amount in damages. So say a car is $30,000.00 you sue for $90,000.00 or a $300,000.00 home at $900,000.00 Verizon and the Credit Bureaus will be quick to insure the false reporting is stopped and completely cleared from your report. Also don't forget Identity Theft which could have been why there is a line being reported as in collections. There are other possibilities as well.
    I wish you...
    Good Luck

  • Deletion of collection account

So I had good luck with one of my accounts and was told that they will delete my collection after I pay the settlement amount. The total balance was $1400... How many points will my score increase after deletion?

FYI, I gained about 20 points after 2 collection accounts were deleted.

  • Unhappy With Veterans United Lighthouse Program- Anyone know about breaking the agreement?

We started on the Veterans United Lighthouse program at the end of May, at that time, we had two of our three credit scores over the 600 mark and were told we only needed to gain 19 points on our credit score to be preapproved for a loan.  When contacting them, we had planned on paying off some delinquent medical debt to help our score but they said not to touch it that all we needed to do is open one credit card account and that would probably do it for us... the lady suggested Wells Fargo for the card... and we were rejected and lost points on our credit score.  We did find a card that approved us but then also saw another drop on our score. Anytime we call to try and get direction or answers to questions, she gives us conflicting advice... and now that our credit score fell she says "maybe you should pay down that medical debt"... this is what they told us not to touch when we began.  It's very frustrating. We were supposed to at least be under contract and moving forward by now because we need to move to a different city for my husband's job in August but now she says it will take several more months... we are VERY unhappy with the service (or lack of service) we've gotten there and think it would just be better to handle our credit on our own because all she's done is give advice that caused it to fall. SO, here's my question... when we started the Lighthouse program, we signed an agreement that said something like "if you use the lighthouse program you agree to use us for your VA loan"- so now that we are very unhappy with the program, are we still bound to use them for a VA loan?  I have read so many negative comments about Veterans United since I started myFICO message boards yesterday and this is very concerning for me.  This form I signed was a digital, online form so I don't have a copy (I know, that was dumb of me to sign it- we were recommended to the program by a friend of ours who had a good experience so our guard was down a bit). ANY ADVICE?Current credit scores are now: 586, 602 & 583... rental houses are very expensive where we're moving to and we really NEED to buy but now it seems unatainable.

Welcome to the forums! If you want to make gains in your score, my first and always recommendation is to do the following: 1) Post all your negatives and ask for help resolving them in the Rebuilding Your Credit forum, there may be some simple quick wins for getting them deleted.2) Post the whole darned enchilada in Understanding FICO Scoring: card limits and balances, loans, negatives, etc; this is for putting lipstick on the pig to optimize an instant in time pull. We're not FICO employees but this forum and one or two other places online are the next best thing when it comes to FICO optimization.  LO's unfortunately often don't know what they're talking about when it comes to FICO scoring, though your LO was right the first time, don't touch those medical collections by simply paying them, if you can't get them deleted they will not help your credit score and might even bring it down further.  The card advice, ugh, there's very few circumstances where that would have helped immediately and there's always a tradeoff involved with opening a new account when we're weighing potential advice on that front. I don't know anything about that particular program but hopefully someone will be able to give you better information on that. Thank you for the advice- I'll give it a try!

  • Help with simple OS upgrade and backup questions for a dumb old previous PC user...?

    Ok...have mercy on me, please...
I am not completely dumb, I know typical board etiquette, and I have searched for various answers (and found many)...but I just want to confirm my personal "research" and get all of this clear up before I proceed with this insanity.  I know I could probably search more, but this is taking hours, because of all my various questions, one leads to 10 more...
I have an iMac with Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 (which, though not mentioned anywhere?...is apparently "Leopard", right?  Told you I was dumb...)
Processor:  3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory: 2 GB 800 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
My main goal:  install an app that was in the Mac App store.
However, with Leopard, I can't access the Mac App store with Leopard, apparently.
I click on the Mac App store, and up pops up a Lion advertisement...telling me I should upgrade.  Ok, fine...probably a good idea, anyway...
But how do you upgrade to Lion?  Apparently through the Mac App store!
The web-redirects on the Apple site are amusing...taking me on an endless cycle...purchase Lion in the app store...click..."you need to upgrade to Lion"...OK...click..."you need Lion at the app store"...OK...click..."you need to upgrade to Lion to get to the app store"....etc.
OK...fine...google searches...ahh, I need to upgrade to Snow Leopard first, apparently!  Yes?
(Maybe the Apple redirects should detect that I have Leopard, and direct me to a screen that explains that I must upgrade to Snow Leopard...and then Lion!  Do you hear that, Apple?  Thanks.)
    Anyway...so here's my plan:
    1) Upgrade to Snow Leopard
    2) Access the Mac app store
    3) Upgrade to Lion
Question A:  With my iMac (specs above), is it really advisable for me to do this?  Can my computer really handle Lion?  It seems I barely meet the minimum with my intel core 2 Duo and 2 GB ram...yes?  Is this a dumb idea, even if "OK"?  I know that "minimum requirements" on a PC often meant:  "Well, it will work...but it will be slower than a snail and crash if you run 5 programs at the same time" (which I usually do...)  I don't want to upgrade if the "minimum" is really not enough.
Question B:  If the answer to A is "not a good idea", then  do I just need a new computer (i.e. better processor)?  Or do I need more Ram?  And can I add Ram to this computer, and is it relatively easy?  I have added Ram to PCs tons of times, and you always have to determine type of Ram for your board, make sure they "match", or whatever, and then open up the machine and install.  Kind of a pain, but once I have the "right" type of Ram, opening the CPU and installing is within my abilities.  Will it be harder for a Mac?
    = = =
    Next:
When upgrading an OS on a Windows, you pretty much format the harddrive and start all over.  Back in the day I was a PC user, there wasn't really a "great" way to back up programs and files, so this was a nightmare.  You could NOT just back-up software.  You typically had to re-purchase and install it all from scratch.  Is this the same with Macs?  Furthermore, personal files were scattered all over the hard-drive for the individual software...so trying to back all that up to get it back on the new system = nightmare!  I hate PCs.
Anyway...so, my iMac has Time Machine.  I am pretty ignorant about this, and based on my previous PC backup program nightmares, I have a distrust for it...and don't really understand how it works.  But in any event, my external drive crashed a few months ago, and I haven't replaced it, yet.  So, I am replacing it soon and will get Time Machine back up and running...setting it up again, etc...leading to question C...
Question C: When upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard to Lion, what is the best way to ensure I keep all my programs and files.  My wife and I both access the computer, so two user accounts.  Does Time Machine really do a good job backing up everything and all things?  Is it just a matter of upgrade to Snow Leopard...then immediately to Lion...and then some sort of "Restore" from Time Machine?  Anything for me to "watch out for"...or to do when I buy a new external hard-drive and setup up Time Machine for the first time on it, in order to make this work well?  Will I have to re-install all the various applications I have installed on this thing?  (like with PCs?)
    Thanks for any sincere help.

Apple has discontinued support for 10.5, it's a plaque of our platform that Apple only supports the last two operating systems in circulation.
Where as on Windows you can run the same OS version for 10 years and get updates free (if not stolen), on a Mac we get one year, two tops now and if you don't upgrade and break all your third party software and hardware drivers in the process, then your denied security updates.
On top of that, the OS X upgrades tend to break your older hardware too, or slow it down so much that it drives you to want to buy newer hardware.
It's funny Apple places the AppStore on your OS X version along with iTunes and Safari updates, but then doens't supply necessary security updates, your machine may be compromised and here you enter vital credit card info, banking  etc. thinking you have a secure machine.
My advice, since that's a 10.5 era Mac, is to upgrade to 10.6.3 via this disk, then use Software Update until clear. You'll get security updates and your present installed 10.5 software will work in 10.6 using Rosetta.
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A
Rosetta is not avaialble in 10.7 so it could be a lot of your software will no longer function
    http://roaringapps.com/apps:table
I don't see the sense in you buying all new software for a machine that's at it's end of life stage.
You can buy software in the AppStore with 10.6.
Question A:  With my iMac (specs above), is it really advisable for me to do this?  Can my computer really handle Lion?  It seems I barely meet the minimum with my intel core 2 Duo and 2 GB ram...yes?
You will need to buy 4GB of RAM to run Lion well, the 2GB is just a bare minimum, and your processor is a bit dated.
Lion 10.7 is certainly slower than Snow Leopard 10.6, in fact so many wanted to go back to Snow Leopard and one of the resons was Lion was slow.
So I wrote a User Tip, here, but the Tips were implemented only recently.

RAM is easy, you can buy it at Otherworld Computing or Crucial.com and install it yourself, there is a little door under the monitor.
    Videos online at YouTube.

Mac'soperaing system is seperate, it can be replaced or upgraded indepentantly of programs or user accounts on the machine.
There are some programs that install a kernel extension file at boot into OS X, those get knocked out, but those can be replaced with a new install of the software.
You should always backup your users files as those can't be repalced.
 Most commonly used backup methods explained
Question C: When upgrading from Leopard to Snow Leopard to Lion, what is the best way to ensure I keep all my programs and files.
OS X upgrades dont' affect User accounts but they can have a affect on programs installed, which most of your 10.5 programs likely will no longer work in 10.7
However they will (with a slight update) work in 10.6 just like before.
You need to backup regardless, I suggest a manual backup of users files to a storage drive, a 10.5 clone on another drive, the your ready to upgrade to 10.6
10.5 to 10.6 upgrade is rather painless, also 10.6 gives accelerated video drivers, so your machine will appear faster.
However once you install 10.7, you will slow down.
Does Time Machine really do a good job backing up everything and all things?
No, you shouldn't rely upon TM, have a multiple backup stragedy, TM files are hard to access directly.
Is it just a matter of upgrade to Snow Leopard...then immediately to Lion...and then some sort of "Restore" from Time Machine?
No need to restore, OS X upgrades and leaves everything else in place, just some programs (with 10.6) or a lot (with 10.7) when you try to launch them they will fail.
Also when you connect TM it will do a substancial change to reflect the new boot drive.
If you were using TM as a "storage drive" thinking you can use the archived versions later, that wil change upon the new OS X  upgrade.
But in any event, my external drive crashed a few months ago, and I haven't replaced it, yet.  So, I am replacing it soon and will get Time Machine back up and running...setting it up again, etc...leading to question C..
You need not only TM drive, but a bootable clone and user files on a storage drive.
 Most commonly used backup methods explained
Will I have to re-install all the various applications I have installed on this thing?  (like with PCs?)
No, depending upon what OS X version you stop at depends how many programs no longer work.
You will have to buy a lot of new or upgrade versions with 10.7, not so with 10.6 only updates mostly because of Rosetta on 10.6 and not on 10.7
My opinion, since that machine is a bit dated, is to upgrade to 10.6, Software update to 10.6.8, and stay there.
Later on 10.8 is being released after this summer, you may want to consider getting a new machine with 10.8 a few months later to ensure all the bugs are worked out of it.
Your not a comptuer savvy person, you like most Apple users expect your machine to "just work" I think going to 10.7 will be a bad experience for you.
10.6.8 will server your needs until 10.8 is released and on new hardware where Apple will hold your hand for free for three months, 3 years with AppleCare.
Your not a "OS X upgrader type of a person" and Apple needs to get of thier collective assets and pay better attention to it's most common users.

Have the Adobe Muse CC (2014) licensing issues been resolved?
I am patiently waiting for some word on whether I can go ahead a install the new version of Muse CC (2014) software on my systems without running into the quagmire that so many are experiencing.  I simply can't afford to run the risk that I will be stuck with a "trial version" for the next 30 days without some assurance from Adobe that they will be able to solve the problems in that time frame. It would be nice if adobe would send out an email that explains the situation to all of it's users so we know what's going on and when the issue is resolved. Collectively we all pay a lot money for these "updates", so I don't think it's to much to ask.

  • Looking for advice on how to handle two accounts

So after doing nothing more than lurking on the forums for some time I decided to try and clean up a couple of items on my reports and was hoping to get some advice as to how to proceed. The first is a account that is in collection with Cavalry Portfolio Services.  It is showing on my reports that it was placed for collection in Oct. 2012 and the original creditor is HSBC Bank Nevada.  The balance is for $672.  It also next to that says (banking).  I am not sure if that means they are claiming it is a bank account or not but I never had an account like that with HSBC.  I do know that the SOL is still active on this debt though and I was afraid of poking the bear if this is somehow linked back to me.  Is my first step to send a DV letter to the collection agency or how should I proceed? The second is an unpaid charge off with a First Premier Bank Credit Card.  The DOFD is 07/2011 and it is showing as a unpaid charge off on my report.  I did get a settlement offer letter from a collection agency called First National Collection Bureau, Inc but they are not showing on any of my credit reports.  The SOL is still alive and well on this debt so I am unsure what if anything I should do about this one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

  • Report on Promise to Pay/ Collection History

Hi, We want a report on promise to pay(how many promises were kep, broken etc) to determine collection history.
Should we just have a query on UDM_P2P_ATTR table or there are more details which we can get. Can we get promise to pay and agent who contacted the customer for that particular promise to pay on the same report.

    Nik,
There is some great business content available in BW past Enhancement Pack 4
If you want to write your own reports there are a few things to consider.
Do you want to report what someone has done today in terms of actions - so amount promised today, or do you want to report on the amount promised FOR today.
Lastly to monitor performance you might want to compare successful and unsuccesful contact, as well as the outcomes, so number of P2P's, disputes, notes etc.
Please e mail me as I may have some suitable reports for you..

I have a question : Someone want sell me Creative Suite 6 MAster Collection, He is gave me the key and want me to fill in the transfer document from adobe? If I accept and pay him for this do I be eligble to use this software in company ? He is offering me full version of the product. How Can I check it ?

There is no reason to do that. You can buy a legitimate copy of the product from Adobe.
If the price is too good to be true, it's too good to be true. Caveat emptor.

  • Pay newest collections or largest amount collection

I am trying to buy a house, but I need 28 more points to even be considered for a loan.I have five collections (not credit cards) on my account. All of the collection agencies have agreed to completely delete the collection if paid, but I cannot pay them all at once.My question is, which will have the quickest affect/increase on my score: paying the newer collection or paying the most expensive collection? Here's what I have:$848- 12/09$3,729- 7/12$3,204- 12/12$1,896- 3/14$540- 1/15 Can someone please tell me which collection I should start with? All will be remove after I pay them, but I cannot pay them all at once. I want to know where I should start to see the quickest results. Thanks in advance!

Wow! Ok thank you. I just don't want to pay out so much, because of course I'll need to save for closong costs as well. So if i can save by avoiding at least one of the bigger collections, that would help significantly.
Basically, what you're saying is it doesn't matter the amount i owe on the collection. What matters (the most as far as seeing a quicker increase in mt fico credit score) is the date (the newest), even if the newest has a small collection amount, is more important to pay first versus the larger amount/older collection?
    Thanks!
