SWX_GET_MANAGER - read of future data

Hello!
I´m looking for a solution to get the manager of an employee who moves from one unit to an other in the future. The problem is that swx_get_manager seems to works with sy-datum and not with flexible dates. So I can´t read the manager out of OM for the next month e.g..
How can I read the managers out of OM in the future?
Best reguards
Martin

Hi Martin,
This is achievable, SWX_GET_MANAGER internally calls another F.M RH_GET_LEADING_POSITION to read the leading position of the user based on sy-datum.
Make use of the above function to read based on future dates instead of system date and read the corresponding Person from HRP1001.
Thank you,
Krishna kishore T.

  • A dynamic "future" date stamp

    Hello folks,
I am looking to insert a future date automatically in a dynamic stamp. That is, I would like to be able to have the stamp automatically add X days to the current date. I have seen a lot of JavaScript forums, tried many of the proposed solutions, but have yet to find something that works for my dynamic stamp. Currently my stamp looks like this:
    event.value = (new Date()).toString();
    AFDate_FormatEx("mmmm d, yyyy");
Amy help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestion.  I gave this a shot, and it simply displays today's date:

  • How to program mails to be sent in future date

    hi
i would like to knwo how to program my mails to be sent in a future date.
in the mail application and Outlook for Mac.
(outlook for windows allows me to program de date a mail may be sent)
    best regards

You can use the Automator app to set an alarm on your calendar which sends the mail at a future time.
It's simpler than it might sound.  This explains how:

  • Payment order to pick lineitems due on future date then run date

When we use payment order option for any payment method defined it means that :Where a payment order is to be carried out at some time in the future, the line items are not cleared very much earlier than the date on which the payment is made.
    However i have a question
Point 1 :Should i run the payment run on a future date.
Ex: If there is an invoice dated 03.03.2010 and due on 15th March 2010,should i run it as on 3rd March and will still the line item be picked up to be paid inthe future.
or Should i run the payment run as on 15th March to get the item picked.
I have another question here ,if i run as on 15th March ,will it pick up lint items which are due on 16th or any date after that.
Where do i define to system ,if i run a payment run it should ppick up line items due upto so and so date and create the payment order.
    Please advice.

OK The posting run date is a reference date -
The posting date is when the actual payment posting date will be and the date of the clearing of open items
Docs entered up to field - looks at when documents have been posted i.e. entry date
Items due by - is the due date of documents to be included in the payment run.
Further to this you need to enter the next payment run date. This is used for cash discounts, if a Vendor has a cash discount payment term it will include the invoice for payment if the date used in the next payment run would mean cash discount would not be available.

  • GRs created for schedule line of future date

While making Goods Receipts using MIGO transaction, we are seeing tha GRs can be done for scheduling agreements having schedule line of future dates. Is there some way of restricting the GR upto to current date only. Meaning suppose if I have the following schedule lines:
category of delivery date         delivery-date           schedule quantity
    M                                               01.2010                   100
    M                                               02.2010                    200
    M                                               03.2010                    150
Currently the system is allowing to do GRs of quantity = 450 (100 + 200 + 150) in the month of February, 2010.
But I want that while doing a GR in February, 2010 the system should allow to do GR of quantity 300 only (100 + 200). Please let me know how we can do so in the system.
    Regards,
    Pratima.

    Dear Veer,
Your answer has helped in the MIGO transaction. Please let me know if something similar is possible for inbound deliveries also. Meaning like in MIGO transaction, I should not be able to make inbound deliveries (in xns VL31N) for schedule lines of future dates / months.

  • How can I prevent the entry of a future date in my date field?

    Hi,
I have a date field in my form (created w/ Adobe Lifecycle Designer v8.0) and I need to prevent users from entering a future date (current or past date is okay). Ideally, if a future date is entered, an error message pops up and tells the person that a future date is not acceptable. Does anyone know how to do this or have any suggestions to try?
    Thanks,
    Annie

    hi Annie,
place the below code in the exit event of the date field and script language should be FormCalc
    if
    ($.rawValue <> null )
    thenvar
    num = IsoDate2Num($.rawValue)-Date()
    if
    ( num > 0 )
    then
$host.messageBox("Invalid Date and cannot be Future Date")
    $.rawValue= ""$host.setFocus("your field path")
    endif
    endif
Note : your field path for example your date field name is futuredate under subform name body then place body.futuredate.
if you want to resrict not to enter past date then compare num with < 0 or to current date then compare num with = 0.
    Thanks,
    Madhu.

  • Is there any way I can file email and have it put back in my intray at a future date ?

When I was working at IBM we had a facility to 'bring-up mail' at a future date. This meant that if I needed to do something at a future date (or more likely someone was standing in for me ) the email could be filed and then re-presented at a future date.

You'll have to get a new one from your carrier. I believe the shipping instructions for mail in service explicitly tell you to take it out as you will most likely not receive the same phone back. Apple doesn't repair most phones, they replace them.

  • Can you arrange to send an e-mail at a future date

I want to send an e-mail at a date in the future when I may not have access to the internet. So I want to have the message ready and put a future date for it to be sent.
Is this possible and if so how would I do it.

If you won't be able to access the internet, how do you intend to send your email?
The solutions offered for use within Thunderbird can queue and schedule messages, but all with the basic pre-requisite that at the intended time of sending, Thunderbird will be up and running and connected to the 'net.
You need to hand your problem over to a 3rd party mailing service who will do it for you.

    Hi,
It is possible to create an order in the future data. However, to regularise the options in Sales order for Delivery date and Pricing date, please go to doc. type config. using T.Code VOV8 and select the order type. Down there you can see a section for " Requested delivery data/pricing date/purchase order date". You can manipulate using the options there - whether or not you want a delivery date to be proposed in your sales order & also if you want to have the delivery date as the pricing date as well - i think this should meet your requirement.
    Award points if useful.

    Here is my code:
                   SimpleDateFormat date = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy");

  • Issue While Terminating a Service Contract with future date

    Hi CRM Gurus,
We are in Oracle EBusiness Suite version R12 (12.1.3) and implementing service contracts for a client.
Please help us with the following issue that we are facing while terminating  a service contract line with future date (end of the month).
    Example :
A Contract 123 with 10 months of duration (Start Date:01-JUL-2013 and End Date: 30-APR-2014) has a service line 1.0 with unit price as $50 for a period of 10 months .The billing schedule is set for 10 months with each month for $50.
The create main billing is run for the month of Jul 2013 and Aug 2013 and is sent to AR.Now we want to terminate the contract line with 30-Sep-2013 as termination date without any credit back to the customer so that we want to charge for month of Sep as well for $50.
When we give 30-Sep-2013 as termination date and terminate the line, the billing schedule refreshes with $50 for Jul1-Jul 31 and $50 for Aug1-Aug31 and $48.39 for Sep1-Sep 29 instead of  30-Sep which is the termination date that we see on the line.
The requirement is that we want to have the  billing for $50 even for the month of Sep,but the system only calculates for $48.39(which is 1 day minus) for the month of Sep. When we give Oct 1 as termination date ,then we get the schedule dates and amounts correctly i.e. 01-Sep to 30-Sep for $50.
How do we achieve to bill for $50 when we put 30-Sep-2013 as termination date ? I see that the regular termination process does not consider timestamp while providing the termination date.
Is this a bug or is there a patch for this or is there a workaround for this other than providing 01-Oct as termination date ?Please help.
    Regards,
    Sandeep Gorla

Update the Ar Interface Table with  value 50$ for that record, before the Invoice gets created.

  • Invoice date(future date) in billing shouldnt be allowed

    Hi All,
In VF01 , the user can make the invoice date in the future date.
there are few cases which has happened esp. in export invoices.
    Need to block this facility.
i.e. User shouldnt allowed to enter future date and it should allowed to enter back date in billing.
I tried with routine 11 in VTFL even though it is allowing to enter future date.
    with regards
    Azeez.Mohd

    Hi,
The standard routine "011" will default billing date = today's date, but it will still be changeable.
In this routine, you have two things you can do:
    1. Get the help of ABAPER to add the logic to prevent the user from entering any date later than the proposed Billing Date (FKDAT), then the system will throw an error and will not allow it to be saved.
    2. Alternatively, ask ABAPer to make the billing date field (FKDAT) as "Display Only" field.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
    Rgds.

  • Setting default opening date for iCal calendar to be some future date?

Is it possible to set the default date at which an iCal calendar opens to be some specified future date?
I want to enter multiple events for a week-long program that begins on November 1, 2008, into a special iCal calendar for that program, as the dates and times for those events become known between now and then. So, each time I click on that calendar's icon, I'd like to have it open at 1 Nov 08, instead of having to step forward to that date each time I re-open the calendar.
    Any way to do this?

    christ. no answer to this?
i just did this on a trip to boston and i /thought/ i had it fixed when i went to paris recently.
perhaps getting a new motherboard on my MBP means i have to set my settings again to get this to work? does anyone know if this only works by setting a /combination/ of settings on iCloud and in iCal preferences...?
