Sync non standard customer fields cProjects to PS by extending BAPI_BUS2054
Hello,
I am using the hierarchical accouting via PS and would like to synchronise some non standard customer fields from cProjects to PS. The fields for synchronisation are definded in structure BAPI_BUS2054_DETAIL. This is used in BADI DPR_FIN_GECCO_ATTR. There I am filling the ct_attributes to transfer the data.
My question is if it is possible to extend this structure in order to transfer own fields to PS?

Standard customer field to FAGLGLEXT table
Hi,
I have included a standard coding block field COBL_WERKS (Plant - ZZWERKS) to the totals table. After I have added this as a customer scenario to the ledgers, I can see this field in the totals table. This is required as the classic PCA is able to provide this dimension.
When the accouting documents are generating from MM module in terms of Goods issue and Goods reciept, the plant info is flowing to the FI documents and updating the BSEG and FAGLFLEXT tables as well.
But when the accouting documents are creating upon the process order confirmations for the activities (material, labor), the plant info is not updating to the FI line items and totals table. Typically the additional FI documents are creating due to CO-FI real time integration and we have several substitions to derive the primary cost elements. At the same time, I am able to see the plant info in table COEP, 8A ledger etc. whereas this is not coming to the FI accounting document from CO module. (PP->CO->*FI*)
Is anybody have an idea why the customer field 'Plant' is missing for some of the processes generating from logistic modules.
Would really appreciate for your kind help.

We have debugged the transaction and found that the BADi FAGL_COFI_ACCIT_MOD updating field 'Plant' COBL_WERKS whereas the accounting interface is not updating this field in BSEG_WERKS and FAGLFLEXT table.
Somehow we found that the connection between COBL and BSEG is missing for additional field 'WERKS'
Would really appreciate if anybody provide some useful info regarding.

How do I let the sieve rules match on non-standard header fields in iMS 5.0p3?
I am able to create a per-user rule that matches on standard header lines, but if I am using a non-standard line, such as X-Spam-Flag, the rule won't apply. Is there any way to make this work properly?
On a site running 5.2 hf 0.9, I have the following sieve rule:

Maybe the subject of this post could also be the opposite: "Making custom look and feels aware of non-standard custom components". I'm not sure.
If I code a new custom component (extending JComponent, or extending the UI delegate of a standard component) and pretend it to be laf aware then I must create the corresponding UI delegate for each laf, like it happens to be with standard swing components. But I'm not sure it is feasible to create the UI delegates for all unknown existing custom lafs.
On the other side, if I create a custom laf then I will also create a custom UI delegate for each standard component, but I can not create UI delegate for all unknown existing custom components.
The point here is that standard components and standard lafs are universally known, while custom components (or custom ui delegates) and custom lafs are not.
So the question is: How does a swing developer deal with the case of a new custom component that will be used in an unknown custom laf?
For instance:
1. Custom text UI delegate for dealing with styled documents in JTextField. See {thread:id=2284487}.
2. JTabbedPane with custom UI delegate that paints no tab if the component only contains one tab.

I suggest if you want to make your custom component look & feel aware, you design the way it displays around the l & f of other components that are part of j2se and have l&f implementations.

New Customer Field in CCM2.0

I need a new customer field in catalog which I want in the shopping cart as well. I have used the allready created customer fields 1-5.

We have allready used the 5 standard customer fields in the catalog and want a new one.
We use the standard for
- "Asset class",
- "No control" (for workflow),
- "Approval" (for workflow),
- "GL account" (different GL account within same UNSPSC class)
- "High Level Articles" which control workflow and it is possible to change price and vendor in SC.
Then I need a new field for a responsible purchasing department (purchasing group). When a user buy an article with an responsible purchasing department the SC must be approved first before it runs the normal workflow.
For the above new fields I therefore need 6 customer fields.
The question is, can I create a new customer field or do I have to use a standard field in catalog and transfer this to a new field in SC??

WDA Leave Request -- Hide Customer Field in Confirmation Popup
Hello folks,
System Information:
NW AS 7.03 ABAP Stack 731 Level 11, ECC 606 (EHP 6) with SAP_HR 604 Level 73 and EA_HR 607 (HR-Renewal 1) Level 24
Background:
For Our WDA Leave Request application, our special department has requested to provide certain additional fields for particular Leave Types, all in all these are three check boxes and one Link-To-URL-UI. I have created these fields, or rather configured them via IMG Customizing Tables V_PT_FIELD_SEL / V_PT_FIELD_SEL_C, using the ten standard customer fields provided by SAP CUSTOMER01 - CUSTOMER10.
After making the subsequential customizing configurations, I have enhanced the WDA OVP-FPM CC "HRESS_CC_GUIBBF_LEAVREQ" to change the respective fields' UI-Type from "Inputfield" to "Checkboxgroup" and "LinkToAction". So far so good; it's nothing fancy and everything works out the way it should.
Problem:
Our special department has recently noted, that the Link-To-Action provided is also taken into account by the Confirmation Dialogue Popup-Box and correctly set read-only like any other field as well. However, the fact that this read-only-link is then also shown in the Popup-Box is confusing to some users and should therefore be hidden. My plan was to enhance the WDA OVP-FPM CC "HRESS_CC_GUIBBF_LEAVREQDIALOG" and simply set the field CUSTOMER01(that's the one field I use for the Link-To-Action-UI) invisible and that's exactly what I did. But look what the effect is:
You can see behind the lightbox in the Form, how the field is usually displayed in the Form-UIBB. What I "achieved" now, though, is, that only the lable is hidden in the Popup-Box through my enhancement in "HRESS_CC_GUIBBF_LEAVREQDIALOG" and the LinkText is still visible.
What I did so far / Question:
So... I went ahead and debugged the feeder class CL_HRESS_PTARQ_LEAVREQ_GUIBBF. I found out that in the Methods "FIELDS_SHOW_HIDE_CLEAR" and "FIELD_SETTING_BY_CUSTOMIZING" I would theoretically be able to manipulate the visibility, but:
This would mean I'd have to create overwrite-exits, which I would like to avoid, because maintenance is a pain.
Manipulating the process flow here probably has side effects on the field control of the overall application which must not happen. If I'm extremely unlucky it might even effect the data flow.
This brings me to my ultimate question: How do I make a field from this Confirmation Dialogue Popupbox cleanly disappear/invisible in a super-duper-elegant way without using a sledgehammer? Maybe there is a customizing-way I have overlooked so far? (please?)

what you suggest is exactly what I did:

The only derivation from your suggestions is that I didn't make a deep copy but an enhancement instead, which Creates a delegation Object that automatically inherits from the standard CC. Technically a copy or an enhancement do exactly the same but maintenance is a lot smoother for enhancements, that's why.

Bidder Not able to filter Bid Invitations with custom fields

Need some ABAP help.
Know many experts are in our community.
We have added 3 custom fields to the Bid Invitation and Bid header
Coded Badi BBP_CUF_BADI_2 for them to appear in the Search criteria for Find Bid Invitation for both the logins(purchaser and bidder).
The custom fields now appear in the Extended search for both.
These custom fields extract values from custom tables.
But we found that the search criteria seems to be filtering Bid Invitations only in the Process Bid Invitation screen(Find Bid Invitation) of the purchaser login.
Template: bbp_bid_inv/99/saplbbp_bid_inv_1010.html
And NOT filtering Bid Invitations in the Process Bid screen(Find Bid Invitations and Auctions) of the Bidder login.
bbp_quot/99/saplbbp_quot_ui_its_1010.html
The ABAPer has already incuded the custom fields in structures INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_BID and INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_QUOT,
What is required in addition so that the search criteria will work in the Bidder login as well??

You are right for template modification for values of this custom fields.
If we do that Bidder CAN filter the BI correctly with these values of custom fields.
But customer does not want that way because in future the values would be changing.
and so it would be an additional task to correct templates.
Also they have to redo these changes with every upgrade.
So we are fetching the values from custom tables for these custom fields.
Would like to again draw the attention towards purchaser's search with these custom fields.
Why purchaser can search correctly with these custom fields fetching values from custom tables?
Can we debug or take any hint from there?
Any futher thoughts?

CProjects -error after modifying and then reverting custom field control
Hi,
We want to make a field non-mandatory in cProjects. We first changed the config of the field in the custom field control in SPRO by making it changeable.But after that cProjects is giving a dump when we try to view or create any project.
We reverted this change and restarted the servers but still see the dump.
Any pointers on how to solve this issue will be helpful.

We did not modify the standard field control.We just tried to make the one of the standard fields 'Changeable' in the custom field control we have.But we got the dump, so we reverted the change back to 'Mandatory'.
Now everything is same in the development server as other servers.. but still the dump shows up. Tried clearing IE cache , restarting server.. but the dump doesn't want to leave it seems.. Any ideas on what else we can try ?

Transfering customer fields from cProjects to PS

I am starting with programming and would like to pass some customer fields to PS where I have two areas. On the one hand I have some customer fields in PS and on the other hand there are fields like "account assignment element" and "billing element" which I have to set in PS depending on my customer fields in cProj.
Maybe someone could give me some advice to the following starting questions:
Where can I implement my code for sync the fields from cProj to PS. There are BAdIs for customer fields, events in cProj application objects and one to check/edit fields in cProjects. But which is the right one to use when I want to sync my fields within the save process?
Are there any code examples (except in the help files on help.sap.com and the img-guide) how to modify user defined fields and fields like "account assignement element" where I need to unlock the master data before modifiying them?
Is there somewhere code that should how I can navigate within the cProj-project structure in order to move from project definition , phase and task the tree up and down?

Regarding the project tree navigation, you can use function module 'BAPI_BUS2172_GET_TREE' (with the project guid as import parameter), and then sort the table Ascending or Descending. -
Custom field's text not getting displayed in standard report

I have a requirement like this .
There is a Custom field which we have added in a standard FICO report ie S_PL0_86000030 ( G/L Account - Balances ).
The custom field is added through a report painter , while seeing the config of report painter the custom field is showing the selection text , but when we run this transaction S_PL0_86000030 , the technical name of that field appears in the selection screen .
For example if the field is ' matnr' then we give the text as 'Material Number' . Then in the screen this field is getting displayed as Matnr instead of Material Number.
Please suggest me on this.

Another way is you can go to SE38, and you can create implicit enhancements.One enhancement point is available here in this required area. so create an implementation and add your fileds with data types.This way is also simple.

Customer Field in Standard BI Content
Hi Experts,
in CRM 7.0 there is a feature called Online Reporting which is using the Netweaver BI functionality to directly execute BW reports within CRM. I have set this up and it is working fine for the standard CRM BI content (which seems to be based on BW version 3.x) that is delivered. So I can execute a standard query and the data is then pulled via Query, InfoCube and DataSource synchronously and displayed in the CRM Web UI.
I am now trying to add a customer field to the whole chain so my first task is to enhance the standard extractor. I manged to do this via an append include and BAdI RSU5_SAPI_BADI. When testing the extractor the data for the new field is populated correctly. When checking the data source in RSA1 I can also see the new field in the fields list of the datasource. The fields is also available in the transfer structure. I now mapped an Infoobject (which I had created before) to this customer field of the transfer structure. And then I created a transfer rule to map the field to the communication structure.
In order to test these changes I have created a start routine and set a break-point to see if the data is provided properly. The debugger stops and all the data is there EXCEPT for my new field. Does anybody have an idea what might be missing in my configuration?

unfortunately, I just realized that for CRM 7.0 it is not recommended by SAP in general to enhance the BI content for Online Reporting. As from EhP1 there seems to be an Interactive Reporting Enhancement Workbench to support this requirement. See post from Sven Kriebel:

So until the next upgrade I will have to stick with what AET provides.

related details view. User can update the values in "my task" but after PM accept the updates, these values are not synced to the project center as well as project professional. Any idea?

AnnaYes, I am saying that the PM cannot see the updated values in the enterprise project in Microsoft Project 2013. It is a task custom field. No errors for it. Would you please help create a task custom field on your side to see whether you can reproduce
this issue? After creating the field, please add it to the "My task" related views so that project members can update the value for the task when they update the task information under "my tasK" page. After that, open the project plan as
