Greetings, I'm adding a link to Hyperion Reports in Hyperion Planning butwould like to prevent users from [re]-entering their userid andpassword once the URL from Hyperion Reports appears. I had todo this a few months ago. Below are the steps that Iused 1. Inhr_global.properties (Path: - \\Hyperion reports\lib), setPassCSSTokenToHssEssDriver=true 2. Restart Reports services. 3. In the Planning web client, go tofile—preferences—advance settings—custom toolsand set the below web link in URL: http://<servername>:nnnn/HReports/hsauth.jsp?sso_token=%SSO_TOKEN%(We useweblogic, thus port number is required. May not be the same in yourcase) 4. Restart the Hyperion Planning services ** Other Notes - Ensure that CSS Configuration in hr_global properties file in theHyperion Reports directory is pointing to css file in HyperionPlanning directory (Planning and Reports need to share same CSSfile for single sign on) - Copy the correct HspJSHome.properties file from planning toHyperion Reports directory

I have a file containing user names and passwords. The file is an export from a MySQL database. The passwords are encrypted in MD5 format. I need to create these users in my APEX workspace. We have tried the following but I can not log in after we create the user. How do you do this correctly? We use apex 4.1 in an Oracle 11g database.

When you run Firefox on your Mac, a Firefox profile folder is created with default data and settings. You have to remove the '''contents''' of the new Firefox profile folder on your Mac (e.g., the bookmarkbackups folder, places.sqlite , cookies.sqlite, etc.) and then copy over the '''contents''' of your old Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to the Mac profile folder. You should do this selectively, just copying important files (like places.sqlite for bookmarks and browsing history). WebService in XI with user and password

Hello,
I´ve created a webservice in XI. When I call this webservice without user and password from an external tool (soapUI 1.7.5), the following error appears:
+Logon Error Message
Der Aufruf der URL http:... wurde aufgrund fehlerhafter Anmeldedaten abgebrochen.+
(means: the call failed because of missing authorization)
Ok, but where can I implement the user and passwort, that this webservice can be called automatically from an other application?

open the WSDL ....and in the left side (bottom) u can see option of user name and password...but i guess its not possible to login automaticaly.
u have to provide the username and password evrytime....

Hi, i need to get all users and passwords from a acs 3.3 database unencrypted.
How can i do it?

To get a list of the USers in the ACS database use the CSUTIL tool on Windows platform.
go to bin directory under the ACS install folder and do
CSUtil.exe -u
this will generate a file "users.txt" in the same folder.
But I dont think you can get the password in unencrypted form.

Linking to an OBIEE report without showing the user and password

Hi!
we are trying to access to an obiee report from an external portal (coded with php).
The idea is that the user clicks on a link an gets the report in pdf format. For that purpose we are using this url:

But this url is expossing OBIEE's user and password.
In order to avoid this security issue we tried to do an wget of the url but it doesn't return the report. Instead we get an html, which seams to download the report chunk by chunk (using javaScript).
The question is, is there any way that we could let our portal ussers access to an obbie report without expossing the user and password?
I have been looking into oracle forums and have found this: OBIEE Go URL with password protected
but we couldn't use this aproach due to security issues.

For a stolen Macbook to appear in iCloud - the person who stole it must turn it on.
You can't track something that's turned off.

You found them ... where? Are they in Safari somewhere?
If so, do Settings > Safari > Clear History and Settings > Safari > Clear Cookies and Data
If that doesn't clear them (and they are from Safari), try Settings > Safari > Advanced > Website Data and clear that area.

I am able to get the 'Home sharing' 'user and password on my Mac.
Also using IPad 2 I am able to get the ITunes to accept the user name and same password as the Mac.
However, the only way I can see the 'Home sharing; icon is in Music on the Ipad. When I tap on the Icon it asks for a password.
When I give the same password, it is rejected.

Personally I think the iOS devices are poor at reconnecting - Airplay establishes that a link is available but when the iPhone/iPad has been away from the house and rejoins the network i think AppleTV already thinks it's connected with a different IP address and fails to recognise it has joined the network again with new credentials.
Something along those lines anyway.
I find that a combination of restarting AppleTV, router and iOS device tends to fix it, but not for everyone.

Just what do you want to do?
In iTunes you can go to Store and sing out of existing account and sing into your account.
You can sync music and videos from the other computer if you sync by the manual method.

Proxy interface always request user and password

I have created a interface from R/3 Proxy -> XI -> RFC.
The interface works fine, but I have a problem, whe I execute the interface in the SPROXY transaction and with a report, the system always request for me the SAP Web Application Server user and password.
How can solve it?

All the configurations for your mails are previously done in the system. The issue has not been solved.
I give you more details. When I do the conections test from SM59 the connection is ok, and not logging is requested. And interfaces with RFC adater works fine too.
The issue is in the Sender call, the receiver call use a RFC Adapter and works. And if you fill the user and password the sender works fine.

When I run my program in the same laptop that I have devoloped my application I dont have problems, but when I try run the application in another laptop I have problems with user and password.
In my application, into load event of my report I have read this sentence.
report.SetDatabaseLogon(UsuarioSQL, ClaveSQL, MaquinaSQL, BaseDatosSQL, True)
Any idea, please?

This is where your problem is. Version 10.5 of the Crystal assemblies does not work with VS 2010 and above. You need to do the following:
1. Uninstall your current version of the Crystal development tools.
2. Download the "Install Executable" of CR for VS SP 9 from here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-7824
3. Install CR for VS.
4. Change all of the references in your project to point to the version 13.9.x assemblies.

I had to reinstall Vista 7 OS. I have a full Windows backup of my machine, prior to the re-installation. How do I retrieve the bookmarks and passwords from the backup? I understand they're stored in various files a ".default" folder in C:\users\username\appdata\roaming\mozilla\firefox\profiles. When I try restoring the folder, the files get skipped... When I try browsing for the individual files, I don't see them!

Many thanks for your responses... After a little scouting on the web, I have found THE solution... This is all due to the way Windows 7 Backup works, and will NOT let restore apps...
("File restore in Windows7 is not designed to restore back applications. This is because the application state is spread across potentially multiple folders, files & registry. Windows7 file backup is not aware of where all the state is spread to be able to restore the entire application accurately as such information is internal to the application. Restoring application partially might corrupt the application and render the application unusable. So we do not allow restoring applications from file backup.
In case files under C:\Program Files etc. are chosen for restoring, we block restoring files from backup to such locations as it might cause the applications to not function.'')
What one has to do when restoring is to NOT attempt to restore to the original location, but to select the radio button which allows you to type a path where you want the files restored and type in the path of the original location!!! Then select copy and replace...A little quirky (and tedious), but it works!

External Web Service - User and password in HTTP header

How is it possible to add user and password in the HTTP header in a external web service call?
I have created a "Portal Service from WSDL file - Client side" with the wizard in SAP Developer Studio. I following the Java Development Guide - Web Service Security, and use the secured service connection. I have also created a new System Landscape, but should the new system be based on HTTP, my own PAR or what?
How can I check that the user and password is added to the HTTP header or the SOAP envelope? Do I have to scan http traffic with a proxy as Paros or can I find the request sent from SAP EP in the logs?

I have been struggling a bit while putting a reasonable security framework on a jax-rpc style web service. I'm using JWSDP1.2 to set up the webservice. I've tried to outline my problem below. Please correct me where I'm wrong.
I've been through the Sun's WS tutorials, but they are not really clear on security. However, from them I surmised that there are two decent authentication techniques. HTTP Basic and mutual authentication (MA) . Both have their drawbacks though. HTTP Basic suffers from poor encryption while MA is a bit difficult to set up on both client and server sides. Another problem with MA is that there is no central repository for users/passwords.
OK, what I would really like to do is use my own user database to verify users/passwords i.e. use a HTTP Basic like authentication (but at application level) but run it over SSL for encryption. It seems simple, but is it possible?
Also, I have noted that when I use HTTP Basic on the service side, and use a java client, then setting username/password has no effect. In other words, I can always access the web-service, even with wrong username/password.
