Synchronous interface udf to remember value between request and response

Hello,
I have two synchronous message interfaces bundled in an operation mapping and a message mapping for the request and one for the response.
I need to remember a value obtained during request message mapping so that I can access it in the response message mapping.
Is there any place where I can put a value and then access it later on the way back?
I tried global container in udf, but the scope of that object seems to be just the current message mapping.
Any ideas appreciated!
Thanks
Matthias

Hi Matthias,
the fact is that the Integration Engine is stateless and not statefull, hence it cannot remember anything between two messages.
Perhaps, the correct way for this needs could be to use a BPM.
At any rate, when I need of this persistence I write the data on ABAP stack via UDF/Lookup function.
If you choose this way, remember to clean the table when you used it and forecast a way to manage the exceptions that could leave dirty in your temporary table.
Ciao.

    Hi.
Yoy can the next options for make this:
    1. Pass your values in http request.
    example: http://localhost/index.jsp?var1=value1&var2=value2&var3....
    2. You can use a no visible frame (of height or width 0) and keep your variables and values there using Javascript, but of this form, single you will be able to check the values in the part client, not in the server. Of this form, the values of vars are not visible from the user in the navigation bar.

  • Difference in value Between BW and R/3

    Hi,
We are in the process of validating reports .We have observed difference in value for  credit and debit amount fields in BW and for the same data is coming from standard data source 0EN_JVA_2 (Joint venture: Actual line item using delta extraction) we have done full data load. In the data source the data coming from a single field and that is spited based on debit/credit indicator in R/3.
I need your valuable input on where the problem is for the difference of value between BW and R/3.

Any update rule for the key figure is having routine with modifiying the value?
    Kindly check.
In case if you are seeing number of records, always aggregation happens.

  • Rebate: Differ "Scale Base Value" between "Statistics" and "Billing Doc"

    Dear SD Expert,
After I go with Transaction Code :"VOB3" (run report RV15B002), I found that "Scale Base Value" have different value between "Statistics" and "Billing Doc". And the correct value is "Billing Doc". However, the value which shows in my rebate condition now is "Statistic". Thus, my question is
How can I configure my rebate condition based on "Billing Doc" Value instead of "Statistic"? (I don't want to "Correct backlogs" anytime in changing scales based value.)  Anyone please feel free in suggestion.
    Thanks,

  • Activity type is mandatory: enter value between 01 and 07

    Hi guys,
I would like to ask you for help..
Recently I updated the App CRM Sales to 2.0.3
Now, when I try to create an activity/task in IPhone(IOs6), it shows me this error "Activity type is mandatory: enter value between 01 and 07".
Do I need to apply any SAP note?
    Does anybody have any idea?
    Regards,
    Eder.

    Hi Masayuki,
    Thanks again for you help.
So, When I create an Activity/Task in CRM Backend I don´t have problem. I can see in my mobile device (Iphone).
The problem is when I try to create a new activity in App CRM Sales (Iphone).
I think that there is some obligatory field in CRM Backend, but that in App CRM there isn´t to filled in it.
    Thanks,

  • Alter script to keep values between 1 and 99

Hi guys, I currently have a table (for the sake of this lets call it my_table with a column my_column which is integer) I want to restrict the values of this column to values between 1 and 99 and was wondering how I would build this constraint using a script.
Thanks for any help I may recieve on this.

Adding a check constraint should serve the purpose.
    create table t_test
    col1 integer
    alter table t_test add constraint check_col1_val check (col1 between 1 and 99);
    insert into t_test values(1);
    insert into t_test values(99);
    insert into t_test values(81);
    insert into t_test values(0);
insert into t_test values(100);Running the last two insert statements will give you a error
    insert into t_test values(0)
    Error report:
SQL Error: ORA-02290: check constraint (HI_OWNER.CHECK_COL1_VAL) violated

This solution works perfectly when the accumulated value has its low and its high on the same day. But I found out :( , that there is also data, which has its low yesterday and its high today. For a better understandig of the case, there is a machine, wich is working over 3 Shifts with irregular start and end time. For example Shift1 cann start at 5:50 or at 7:15. The accumulated value of the worked time is accumuated for each shift extra. This solution works for the shift 1 (approximate between 06:00-14:00) and for the shift 2(approximate between 14:00-22:00), because there is the low and the high of the accumulated value on the same day. This solution does not work for the shif 3(approximate between 22:00-06:00), because the high of the accumulated value is or can be the next day.
So the thread title should be: "Select just the values between min and max of an accumulated value over the same day(today) or over two successive days (yesterday and today)

  • GET function fails to get values between 1 and 0

Hi i have the folowing code
    GET(CONTAVENDAS="PERCVOLUMECORP",FONTEDADO="INPUT",TEMPO="2011.INP",PRODUTO="%SPECIE%_IN",CANAL="NACANAL",ORGCOMERCIAL="NAORGCOM")
When the value in the PERCVOLUMECORP account, is greater or equal to 1 let's say 80, the get function returns me the correct value, but when i have a value between 0 and one, for instance 0,25, the get function returns 0 (zero)
    Any ideas?

  • Passing values between jsp and php

hi there, is it possible to pass values between jsp and
php? i really need to find out the way if there is
    any. thanks in advance
    -azali-

Yes, there are a few ways to do this.
    1) Think about using Cookies.
    2) Maybe use a Redirect passing the values in the Query string.
    3) Retain the data in a repository in the back end.
    4) Using Hidden fields within your pages.
I am sure you can use these Idea's for a base to develop other methods on how to pass values back and forth from JSP -> PHP and vice versa.

  • How to restrict the Request and Response process in that cookies should be Secure way SAP Portal 7.0 ?

    Dear Experts,
Please any one can help me i am getting one security issue. Some third party tools using and hacking the Request and Response of the Server. That time there taking one successfully Request (GET http://1.1 302 found)   and Response (http://1.1 200 ok).In this request based on again there giving some invalidate credential in that time server giving request replacing for success fully Request that time there login in to portal successfully(Bypassing). In this Request level only getting the information for URL and set-cookies only. Here any process is there to restrict the set cookies.like JSESSIONMARKID and JSESSIONID SAP_LB.
We are using 7.0 Version and SP 12. Please share you are solutions because of this is very high problem here.
    Thanks for Advance
    Thanks and regrades,
    Durga Rao.

    Dear Samuli,
    Thanks for the Replay,
We are using HTTPS and SSL confined but man in the middle types of attack is happening here there using one tool based one there taking the Request and Response. The below given cookie are available in that request.
According to this , set-cookie: JSESSIONMARKID , JSESSIONID and MYSAPSSO2 values are user login time it will change every time  are not.
After  capturing above response HTTP/1.1 302 etc , when user gives valid credentials and logs in ,
and now ill give wrong password and wrong user id and on click of log on button, i can intercept the request and response coming from the server and when i replace this valid response stil i am able to loggin in to the portal , which should not happen as JESSIONMARKID is changed , server should not allow , but it is loggin in.Standard Login page also allowing to login in this case.
My server version is EP 7.0 SP 12.
Please suggest a solution so that if we restric the hacker at this stage , no matter he can never hijack the sesiona and login  with invalid username and  password.
    Thanks for Advance
    Thanks and regrades,
    Durga Rao.

  • Use Sign.xml and Encrypt.xml for both request AND response within WSDL?

    Hi,
    ALSB: 2.6
I was wandering if it's possible to use abstract outof the box WS-Policy file within WSDL file to specify encryption
(Encrypt.xml) and digital signature(Sign.xml) with X509 for both request and response???
So far, it only works for either request or response BUT not both. i.e. within WSDL file
<!-- following WSDL works for encrypting and signing request with X509 in test console -->.....
    <wsdl:binding name="DexService2Soap" type="tns:DexService2Soap">

So is this a feature not supported in ALSB 2.6 yet or am I missing something dead simple?
    Thanks in advance

Instead of specifying policies for input and output separately you could place the policy reference only once in the operation element. Maybe will this solve your problem...

  • Request and Response Objects

    Hi,
I was told that there is a limit for the request and response object sizes and crossing them will throw IllegalStateException. Could some one explain whether this is true and what is the maximum size of the object allowed?
    Thanks,
    Des

As far as I know no such limit is defined by the API. There will always be a limit due to implementation and underlying architecture. Which particular implementation of request/response are you concerned about?

  • How to retrieve SOAP Original Header from request and response

    Hi,
Does anyone know how to retrieve SOAP original header from SOAP request and response? I surfed but I'm able to see only the retrieval of SOAP custom headers via BPM mediator. Can anyone please help me regarding this? Also Please tell me how to check the headers in the Enterprise Manager.

    HI Chandra,
    Thanks for your suggestions.
But i think in my case we do not want to get the complete list. We still want to get only 100 items initially and then if the user would scroll down he/she would see more items. But we already need to know the total number of items for the purpose of showing a message to the user. For e.g. Total issues (515),  but the table would initially show only 100 and then another 100 after scroll. So setting the size litmit to max would not help.
And to be able to use the $count you mentioned, we have to still make another oData service call which we do not want.
But as i mentioned there is already a property named "__count" in the response of the bindItems() method call and i see that it has correct count but not sure how to retrieve it inside the controller. Thanks.

  • Password Field not mapped between Request and Provisioning Form

Hi to all. I'm working with OIM 11g. I've faced a strange issue. I'm not sure I'm working properly, so let me explain you my case. In my installation I've got the SSH connector, which is correctly connected with the physical resources. I've loaded the resource dataset ProvisionResourceSSH User bundled with the connector. Consider now that the user "goofy", with "ALL USERS" role, tries to make a request Provision Resource SSH User (Request Based provisioning). He fills in all the field in the appropriate manner, but when OIM triggers "Create User" provisioning task, after the required approval process, the password field is always blank (although goofy filled it in!!!).
I've thought: "ok, it seems a role trouble". And effectively, if goofy has got also the role "REQUEST ADMINISTRATORS", the provisioning form shows the password field correctly valued (as goofy stated in his request).
Note that all the fields are correctly mapped between request dataset and the provisioning form (I'm using the original dataset and the original provisioning form installed by the connector). So all other fields filled by goofy on the request form (request based provisioning) are correctly passed to the provisioning form. All the fields, except for the password.
Am I wrong in something? How Could I make possible to pass the data filled on the request for the password field to the provisioning form even if the requester has not the role "REQUEST ADMINISTRATORS"?
Thank you in advance for the help.

This sure seems goofy! ;-) ... can you try making the ALL Users have all the permissions on the Resource Object and the Process Form and test it out? Also try from the backend at the database and see if the table has NULL for the password field? ... What's the type of password field in the dataset and the process form? Encrypted/Secret at both ends or mis match? Try making them plain text both the places as well.
