System alert/pop up on min Inventory

how can i initialize a pop-up/alert when an item in a particular warehouse reaches the min. inventory.
Regards
Antony

Antony,
To have an alert, you would need to generate a query using table OTIM - with a condition to generate report whenever the stock of a particular item goes down below the mini order level.
The query generated should then assign the same in an alert management.
Use this query for this purpose
SELECT T0.ItemName, T0.OnHand FROM OITM T0 WHERE T0.OnHand < T0.MinLevel
Assign points if useful.
Thanks,

  • Safari blocked by Apple alert pop up. Virus?

on safari security alert popped up applealert.com major cause for concern told me to call a number. A guy answered and said he needed to get into my system to see the issue. I didn't trust it as at 10pm apple support is closed. What do I do? Do I have a virus? I managed to get rid of the notice by disabled JavaScript but I'm worried my computer has been hacked into
    any advice is appreciated

You were the victim of an attempted SCAM.  First you should not have called that number at all, but since you did, I assume that you did not allow the individual to get in your Mac.  If that is the case, you should be OK.  It is not a virus that you encountered.
If you are really nervous, you can always erase the HDD, reinstall the OSX and then restore your personal data from your backup.
    Ciao.

An alert pops up and asks if I want to merge my contacts with Yahoo.
If I merge, will it add duplicates, if there are some?
    I don't want duplicates.
If it will add duplicates, how do I tell yahoo to quit asking me if I want to merge.

  • Min Inventory Level

    Hello All -
Currently we do not have the Min Inventory Level populated in the Item Master.  What changes should we expect to see in any of the modules by filling in this field...i.e., any alerts, etc?
How are Min Inventory Level alerts set up?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Hi.
Using this fields will modify the behavior of thouse articles when running MRP. The recommendations generated by MRP to buy/produce an article, will include the min level requirement into its calculations in order to keep the min level after all the transactions were made.

This program is by default scheduled to run daily and purge messages older than 7 days. Internally this concurrent program invokes the FND_LOG_ADMIN APIs, which are described later in this document.

  • My 4th generation iPod Touch won't let me get on to the App Store. When I log on to iTunes, an alert pops up that says the certificate for the server is invalid, and that it may be a server pretending to be iTunes. What should I do?

My iPod won't let me on to the App Store, and whenever I go on to ITunes, an alert pops up that the certificate for the server is invalid, and that I may be connecting to a server that is only pretending to be iTunes.apple.com and my personal info may be at risk. I downloaded an emulator yesterday from coolroms.com but deleted the app this afternoon. I cleared my safari search data, my cookies and data, and web inspector, which still didn't work. I then proceeded to reset my iPod and then download the newest version of IOS 6.1.5 but yet still am having problems. Also to the App Store and iTunes, several other apps aren't working. Any help here?

Also, when I go on to safari, another alert pops up that safari cannot verify the identity of the website, anything that I type in to as common as google.com. It gives me 3 options to either cancel, look at details, and continue. I've looked at the details of the website of Google and it is legitimate the site. Any help?

    Hi, sallymaesmag.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
If you are in the Philippines, check to see if the country is changed in the iTunes Store settings on the iOS device.  These steps will show you how to change the preference.
    Change your iTunes Store country
Sign in to the account for the iTunes Store region you'd like to use. TapSettings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region.
Follow the onscreen process to change your region, agree to the terms and conditions for the region if necessary, and then change your billing information.

Once you make the change attempt to download applications again.

  • Probably a stupid question. Typing = system alert sound

I went to use iWeb for the first time and I cannot figure out why this is happening.
Every time I click in a text box or type within a text box every click or keystroke gives me the system alert sound.
No clue why it is doing this. No other app is doing this.

Just to make clear. I have full access. I can select with clicks and I get characters when I type. It's just accompanied with the current system alert sound.
It's weird, after I posted my first message I went back to iWeb and typed and it didn't give me any alert sound. I went into other apps and then went back and the alert sound was back.

We are using Third Party software for  master data and other information related to  Letter of credit.
In SAP ,I will  do special GL for LOC and assign to Reconciliation Account as  per standard.
What is the best practice to get system allert, when ever the date is going to get expired.

    Hi,
In case you want to send the last record only, then you can use following qurey
    SELECT TOP 1 * FROM DBO.OVPM T0 WHERE T0.CashSum >= 10000 AND DATEDIFF(DD, T0.CreateDate, GetDate()) = 0 ORDER BY T0.CreateDate DESC
then in Alert u can set the frequency as 1 minute.
    Hope this helps...

  • Help! iPhoto alerts pop up that say, "The photo "DSC06691.JPG" cannot be opened because the original cannot be located." I can locate original, but I have multiple images with same name!

Recently my library prompted me to rebuild due to inconsistencies that were found in library. Now alerts pop up that say it can't locate the original of an image, so I have an option to cancel or locate it. I can locate the file, however, there are usually 2 or 3 photos with the same file name! Not sure which one it is trying to locate etc. I have a feeling this is the problem. Not sure how it happened. Has anyone had this happen to them?? iPhoto library hasn't rebuilt because there are so many pop up alerts...I have a feeling it's a big problem. I am going to attempt to select one image for each one and see what happens, but I am concerned what the outcome will be.
My camera cards are already deleted (I knew I should have kept them!!). We do have time capsule, so I am assuming I can go back, but I am worried that iphoto will do the same thing. It just started doing it about two weeks ago and it didn't correspond with any photo uploads. I hope someone can help!

Are you running a managed or referenced library?
If it's a managed library apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
    Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments.  However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

  • Alert pop up when trying to install itunes OS X

when i plug my iphone 5 into itunes it comes up with, "The iPhone “Tina's iPhone” cannot be used because it requires iTunes version 10.7 or later. Go to www.itunes.com to download the latest version of iTunes." then when i download the new version (OS X) and try to run the programme an alert pops up simply saying, "Alert: iTunes cannot be used on this computer". Leaving me with no other options that 'OK'. What actions can i take?

As mentioned on the iTunes Download page, iTunes 10.7 requires "OS X version 10.6.8 or later"
So, you'll need to update your Mac to at least OS X 10.6.8 from here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399 first, before installing the iTunes 10.7 Update.
Or just run Software Update on your Mac.

  • External speakers "pop" when mac mini is asleep

I've got some Creative 5.1 speakers plugged into my mini, only using the left and right speakers. When the computer is asleep, the speakers make a popping noise that lasts through the computer waking up and until I change the volume on the computer. As soon as I change the volume, the popping stops until the next time the computer goes to sleep -- then it starts back up again.
Any clues on how to fix this? Thanks!

The problem is in the design of the speakers.
The amplifier circuit works any time the speakers are on. When there is no music, it amplifies the noise that is present. Some circuits have leaks and collect electricity until it builds up. Once it reaches a high enough level, the capacitor discharges and you hear a pop.
The mini should send no signal when sleeping - you can check this by disconnecting the speaker - but leave it sitting in the back of the mini. All of the cords at the back of the computer emit electricity - expecially the power cord. Having the speaker cable next to the other cables - it acts like an antenna and picks up noise. You might have luck shielding your speaker cable if this really annoys you. Otherwise, you need to get a better amplifier in your speakers to filter this noise or reduce the leakage current.

  • Ipod wont sync alert pops up

i have an ipod classic 5th gen and whenever i go to sync it an alert pops up saying that it cant sync that the required disc cannot be found. i have tried downloading a new version of itunes resetting and restoring my ipod but nothing seems to work please help!

What have you tried in terms of troubleshooting so far?  Has the iPod ever been able to successfully sync with this PC and iTunes before or is this the first time you are connecting it?
I would first make sure you are plugging the iPod into a high powered USB 2.0 port directly on your PC and NOT through a HUB.  If possible, use a different USB sync cable to rule out a damaged/faulty cable as well.
Is the Enable Disk Use option ticked from under the iPod's Summary tab in iTunes?

  • Repeating system alert sound, without user action 10.6.1

After installing 10.6.1 on my Macbook Pro unibody 17", i get a repeating system alert sound every 2 seconds. I have restarted, logged out, changed my sound settings, and eventually just had to turn the system alert volume all the way down.
Anyone else having this problem after the 10.6.1 update? Any resolutions besides muting system alerts?
    Thanks,
    c

I think I found my issue - It seems to have been with Peer Guardian. I uninstalled Growl a little while back because of a bug causing Firefox to launch in the background instead of in the foreground (help from Apple's forums helped with finding that fix), and I think PG heavily utilizes Growl for user notifications.
One this you might try is creating a dummy user and logging into that account to see if the problem still exists. If it doesn't, then you know one of your startup items (System Preferences --> Accounts --> (user) --> Login Items) is causing the sounds you're hearing.
