System Error While Deleting Software Component from Repository

Hi,
I have deleted datatypes,Interface types,Message types,Interface Mapping & Message Mapping also.
When im deleting Software Component from Repository,
I m getting the following System Error.
[-9402]:System Error:AK Unexpected Strategy information.
and im not able to delete.
Plz Suggest me.

u can get tth note directly form SAP service or go to transaction 'snote'....
and ther u can import it from the menu bar thers a option of download/upload....just put in the note no.

It's very simple
Solution:
Double Click on Software Component, On Right Hand side >Go to Software Component Version->Delete the software component.If all the necessary Objects have been properly deleted, there will be no problem in Deleting the Software Componet version
1) Delete the created Data Types, Message Types, Message Interfaces, Message Mappings, and Interface Mappings.
2) There should be no Imported SAP Objects in the Software Component. If any delete them and activate changes.
3) Delete all namespaces in the editor using sign. Do not save the changes.
4) Delete the two default data types that are created in the Interface Objects-->Data Types of the software component version (ExchangeFaultdata, ExchangeLogdata). Now save changes for the s/w component version and activate the changes. Ignore the warnings that pop-up.
5) The radio button for u201CInterface import should be at u201CNot permittedu201D instead of u201CImport RFC and IDoc Interfaces from SAP Systems Permittedu201D.
6) Now go to Software component version menu in the right hand pane. Click on delete and the software component vanishes from left hand pane

Error while deleting any component from the widget

Whenever i delete any component from widget it stops running..i means whenever after deleting i execte the widget nothing happens.........it gives me an error saying
"Syntax Error in line 1 " and no other information....so can anyone tell me how to resolve this????????

Hello,
This might happen when you delete Header or Footer from widget. It is already corrected in latest version of Tools. Workaround is to add dummy view that is not used anywhere in widget but contains Header and Footer.

Error while importing Software Component from SLD

On hitting runtime workbench i am getting the following error.
Unable to read XI domain from the SLD. Monitoring cannot therefore be configured. Error message: com.sap.aii.rwb.exceptions.BuildLandscapeException: Error during communication with System Landscape Directory: HTTP response code: 403 (Forbidden)

1. Design:Integration Builder
Double click on the Software Component Version
In the display window, navigate the menu to Software Component Version and select Delete
This removes both the Software Component and the Software Component Version
Ensure that the Change List is empty
2. SLD
Double click on the Software Component and select the Remove button
3. Clear SLD Cache
You may want to go back into the Design:Integration Builder, navigate the menu to Environment and select Clear SLD Data Cache

How to Delete multiple Software Component from repository

Hi,
We have XI 3.0 running on MaxDB & Linux environment. Due to some mistake we had imported ALL Software Component versions from SLD. Since it was not required, we have to delete around 150 objects from repository.
We can delete one by one. But I am looking for option where we can delete multiple objects at time, which will save our time.

You could try to get the Basis people to restore from a backup. (But that would only work, if you had a backup from just before, or there aren't too many changes after the last backup you can rollback to).
I don't think there is any other way of doing a mass-delete of SWCs.

Error while deleting enhanced component

Hi,
i have enhanced the component 'ICCMP_BP_CP' and the view 'ICCMP_BP_CP/BuPaContactPersonCreat'. When we enhanced the component, it throwed me the error message that user is not authorized for sicf transaction. after getting the authorization, i enhanced the component. But when we we enhanced the view, it was throwing view bind exception in Web UI. so, we deleted the enhanced view and when we are trying to delete the enhanced component 'ICCMP_BP_CP', its throwing the error that 'run time repositry could not be loaded',
After I tried deleting the component enhancement, I can still open that component with enhancement set from BSP_WD_CMPWB but it doesn't show me any repository.xml. Also, I don't see any entry for the enhanced component in BSPWD_CMP_C_REPL.
I am attaching the screen shots like how I am deleting the enhanced component. Could you please tell me how to delete it.

Hello,
Open table BSPWDV_COMP_EXT via SM30 and open it with the Enhancement Set in which you created the enhancement you want to delete. (or the view cluster BSPWDVC_CMP_EXT via SM34)
Look for the component for which you want the enhancement to be deleted. Note down the "Runtime Rep. BSP application" and delete the record.
Open the BSP application you noted down in SE80 and delete the (incorrect) enhancements, then delete the whole BSP application.
Restart enhancing the component.

Unspecified Error while deleting a component

I have a component with a <form> tag; which refers to a servlet which is registered with a particular path.
When i try to delete the component I am getting "Unspecified Error" - error. Once i run the page am not able to select the component to delete also.

Hi Veena,
Look at your log file to get complete stack trace to find the cause.
As a workaround, In crxde go to the page under par identify your component. Then delete that node & save the changes. An example to delete productlist from geometrixx product page is [1].
[1] /content/geometrixx/en/products/jcr:content/par/productlist

Error while deleting a row from the Entity Object

Hi OAF Guys,
i am unable to delete the newly created row from the entity object.
let me explain my scenario.
1. i have a table of which some of the columns are mandatory.
2. I am writing the code in the validateEntity to check wether the user really enter anything into the fields.
3. My problem is, when the user creates row and wanted to delete the row without entering any details, the validate entity of the EO gets fired which will not allows to delete the row.
Is there any workaround for this problem.

I am very sorry for not providing you the complete details of my scenario. Here i am explaining
1. what code you have placed while creating the row and in validation method on EOImpl.
while creating a new row i am initializing the primary key of the EO with the sequence value.
2.When you say, you are unable to delete the row, are you getting a error message ? if yes, custom message or fwk error ?
its not the fwk error, its the custom message which wrote in my validateEntity method of EO to check whether the user had entered all the necesary columns or not.
3.How are you trying to delete the row ?
while the user clicks on the delete switcher i am getting the primary key of the row and searching for the row in the vo and finally deleting it.
The problem arises when the user creates a row, and later doesnt want to enter the details and delete it. Here while deleting the row the validateEntity method of the EO gets fired and doesnt allow me to do so :(.

System exception while deleting the file from app server in background job

I am using the statement DELETE DATASET in my program to delete the file from app server.
I am able to delete the file from the app server when i run the program from app server.
When i run the same report from background job i am getting the message called System exception.
Is there any secuirity which i need to get the issue.

I get all the authorization sto delete the file from application serever.
Thing is i am able to run the program sucessfully in foreground but not in the background .
It i snot giving any short dump also just JOB is cancelled with the exception 'Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE'.

I am getting the ABAP Dumps when I am trying to delete the data from the DSO Objects in my Systems.
"    An entry was to be entered into the table

    However, there already existed a line with an identical key.
The insert-operation could have ocurred as a result of an INSERT- or

The statement "INSERT INITIAL LINE ..." cannot be used to insert several
     initial lines into a table with a unique key.     "
I have tried with multiple DSO's and Have the same issue. Please need your suggestions.

I think in the ODS setting Unique Data Records checkbox is ticked........if so.........The DataStore object can be used for loading unique data records...........If the loaded request does contain data that is already in the DataStore object, activation of the request will lead to an error.
Find the request in SE16>>RSICCONT table .........and try to delete there....it may work........

I have restored an analysis database backup to from server 1 (sql server 2008) to server 2(sql 2008) and its working fine
and now am trying to restore another database from analysis server server 3 (sql 2005) to server 2 (sql 2008 )but its giving error that

C7 General : System Error while deleting the photo...

It show me system error when i attempted to delete the photos. Even i had my photos deleted on mass storage mode and ovi suite, it's seem that the deleted photos is still in the memory when i open the photo app.

I have not used this field in any FM/ Report.
I have tried log off and then log on. but it make no difference.
Now the Other scenario is that i want to change the datatype of this field to TEXT25.
But it is also not allowing me to change because currently datatype is TEXT20.
So now how can i change the length from 20 to 25.
