System- Link

I want to set up a link vf03 , I need to attach some file to the invoice document, so whenever user choose system->Link, user should open the document.
Any help is really appreciated.

I want to retrieve the documents stored in a storage system linked to SAP via the archivelink and show it in a webdynpro application(Adaptive RFC).I need to know the right approach to do so.I am searching for a funtional module which can fetch me the documents from the data storage.The stored documents are linked to business object type BUS2104.

I tried the solution suggested by you.Here's what i did :
I executed the ARCHIV_GET_CONNECTIONS with input field OBJECTTYPE values as BUS2104.It gives me some entries in the output connections table.From the results , i picked up the ARCHIV_ID and ARC_DOC_ID fields as suggested by you.
I went to execute SCMS_AO_TABLE_GET with above two values as import parameters and COMP_ID = "data".But it does not give me any output.It says "HTTP error: 404 Not Found". Any idea why is it so?
Then i went to try SCMS_DOC_URL_READ .I find here that there are two mandatory parameters viz . STOR_CAT , DOC_ID.I tried giving the ARCHIV_ID value above as value for STOR_CAT . But it does not recognize it.Then i went to the table SDOKSTCA to look for any valid values for STOR_CAT , but i am not sure which one applies to my scenario.How do i find this?

System links from blog overall view to blog item without css???

Hi there,
Can anyone help me with the following really strange problem?
I’m struggling many hours with the system links in overall blog view but are not able to resolve the problem. Once you click in the overall blog view to a specific blog item the system is generating a new page bit without the CSS??? I have set a template page to the blog and if I’m using the preview it looks fine. The overall blog view as well the single post view. It seems that the system is not using the CSS from the template??? Is this a bug?

Anything like this, this is not what you do for BC to find the path.
BC has a very simple know from root structure so the above will simply be:
<link href="/assets/css/bootstrap.css" rel="stylesheet">
So any CSS source, script and image in templates and layouts need to start / and nothing else to know to read from the root.
Do that and it will sort this issue and when you use web apps, eCommerce and sub folder pages in the future too.

CRM 5.2 UI - changing system links

Dear group,
we are struggling changing the URLs for the system links (personalize, help, system news, log off) provided on the header of the L-shape within the new web UI of CRM 5.2.
In standard, the 'Log off' system link will redirect to the SAP website. We would like to change this redirect to another page. A thorough search of UI customizing documention was not successful. Would anyone know how to change the destination for those system links, especially the 'Log Off' system link?

The logoff link is controlled by the technical profile of the business role. Go to the IMG activity:
CRM->UI Framework->Tech Role Definition->Define Technical Profile
Copy the existing DEFAULT to a Z-version and change the logoff URL. Then assign the tech profile to your business role.
For the other links:
Personalize is hardcoded to the system personalization screen
Help - is controlled through setting up the help documentation look at OSS note 1038204
System News is a provided service that displays messages created by sys admins through SM02 on the SAP GUI.

Two GRC systems linking to one SAP system

Hi,
I have a possible scenario where there are 2 GRC systems (for company 1 & company 2) connected to two seperate ECC6.0 systems.
Both companies are now looking to split out the HR element of their ECC6.0 systems and share a common HR system.
I am wondering what is the recommended approach to take for the GRC systems? I was thinking of creating a link from each GRC system to the new HR system.
However I am not sure how to deal with SPM- as this seems to have a one to one connection with the SAP system, meaning that only one GRC instance will be able to report against SPM usage.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

Niamh,
As long as you configure the connectors from the SPM Java side, you can report on multiple SPM backend instances from a single GRC Java System.
However, if you want to integrate SPM with RAR for the critical transactions / SOD analysis, I believe that you can only specify one RAR source.
If you split out the HR elements to a single shared system, you can also have both GRC systems connected to that HR system You would need to consider the rulset defined in each RAR instance and the users who report on it to ensure that you are getting the "correct" rules in the correct place.
I would recommend not reporting from both grc systems as it doubles the administrative overheads and adds further complexity to the implementation. I would pick one of the GRC systems and adjust the functions in that one to look at the new HR system for the relevant authorisation definitions.

CProjects - Project Systems Linking and other features

Dear All,
              I need inputs on how to integrate cProjects with Project Systems. Also i need information on the what are all the information we can integrate between these two.
              One more important thing is i am seeing the Services, Details Data and Controlling links in My cProjects system. Where as i found Account Assignment, Costing links in one screenshot of Documents. And both are for cProjects 4.0. Why this difference is showing up
              And one generic question is, what is the requirement for these kind of scenarios. And pros and Cons of both the systems.

Thanks very much for the links. However, I've already gone through the standard documentation in SAP and they are a bit too high level/vague for me. I have considerable experience in xRPM, cProjects Suite and have good grasp of project management concepts, tool and techniques. My knowledge of PS is somewhat limited though.
What I am specifically looking for is what type integration options and scenarios are available. For example, cProjects can have phases and tasks defined. How would these integrate with for example WBS elements and networks in PS? What are the things you would do in cProjects and not PS and vice versa? Hope my question is clearer now.

Oracle Student System : Linking units to a program.

Hi,
can any one tell me if i need to link unit to a program where should i go in Oracle Student System(OSS)?
Also is this linking done using any process, because when i see the patter of study screen in OSS then
it is populating all the units against the program, to select the core and optional unit against a program.

What type of prompt is this? Is it a dialog box or are you supposed to press a key on the keyboard? For either method you need to make the window active which you can do with the Windows API and the lvwutil library you can find here. At that point what you do depends on whether you have a dialog or you need to press a key. For a dialog you need to simulate pressing a button which you can also do with the Windows API. For the keyboard same idea. You can also do this with AutoIt, which doesn't require Windows API programming and has a relatively simple ActiveX interface.

Hi experts!
Where does SAP store the link between hierarchy nodes, responsible persons and web layouts for STS? In the relevant tables for STS starting with UPS* you find only an orgvalue, which seems to be some kind of hash key, which is only used in tables which don't provide the necessary information (resp person and so on).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Linksys WRT160NL system link and Corsair Voyager 16GB USB Flash Drive

I want to connect my Corsair Voyager 16GB flash drive to WRT160NL system lin. It shows up in firmware, but claim button does nothing.
I've formated flash to FAT32 and upgraded router firmware to the latest, but Flash drive still doesn't work.
How could I fix this?
Switching to http://openwrt.org/ firmware would help? Is it worth to use openwrt firmware and which one would you recommend using with 160NL?

After firmware upgrade it doesn't show my Corsair 16Gb or Adata 2Gb at all... but I've found that 2GB Sandisk micro SD card with a USB adapter works just fine.
Though I would like to find a way to use 16GB corsair anyway, because it's faster and bigger.

No Business Systems refresh in Integration Directory

Hello,
I'm working with an installation of XI NW 7.0 SR3 ABAP+JAVA on Windows
MSSQLServer.
I've created many outbound and inbound interfaces and imported idocs
too in a specific software component.
I've imported the busines system linked to the software componed in
Integration Directory but it didn't contain the I/O interfaces nor
imported idocs.
Result of this is that when I try to use Condition in Interface
Determination this error occured:
Problem loading Schema Description.
Message interface does not exist in any software components installed
on this business system.
Can you help me?

Hi,
If you get the following msg while selecting the BS in Receiver Determination
"Message interface does not exist in any software components installed on this business system"
1) Open ID-----Double click on Business system that which u are using in the scenario
2) Check whether you are able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB
3) If it is not there means goto SLD----Open the Technical System of R/3 by choosing Web as ABAp type
4) Click on Installed Products TAB
5) Click on Add New product and add your Product of the SWC whcih you are using for developement and Save it
6) Then goto Business systems TAB in the same Technical systems window and click on the Business System appears in the window.
7) Click on Installed products and Check the check box of your Product and then finally save that.
Now you should be able to see the SWC in the Othere attributes TAB in ID

64 bit linking on linux ?

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 on two machines AMD64 and x86 architectures.
It appears that I have a 32 bit sun compiler:
$ sunCC -V
sunCC: Sun C++ 5.9 Linux_i386 Patch 124865-01 2007/07/30
It work fine on Ubuntu 7.10 x86, but there seems to be a linker problem on AMD64:
$ sunCC sunCCTFunc.cc
/usr/lib64/libm.so: file not recognized: File format not recognized
$ sunCC -m64 sunCCTFunc.cc
/usr/lib64/libm.so: file not recognized: File format not recognized
What am I doing wrong ?

The Linux system linker cannot (yet) handle comdat sections that are in object files created by the Sun C++ compiler. (The linker garbles the comdat sections.) Sun Studio on Linux comes with its own linker, which is a Linux linker with the comdat features fixed. The CC command runs the Sun Studio version of the linker.
Apparently you are using a newer version of Linux, whose libraries use an object file format not recognized by the older linker supplied with Sun Studio. This is one reason why Ubuntu is not on our current list of supported Linux distributions.
Quite a while ago we submitted the linker source code fixes to the Linux community for inclusion in the Linux source base. We hope that a future Linux linker will be able to link Sun C++ object code modules correctly. Providing our own linker is not a sustainable solution, for reasons such as you have discovered.
We are aware of the problem with newer object file formats, and are working on a solution. I can't predict when a solution will be available.
