System shows only "j" while booting

Hi,
I tried to create a bootable USB flash drive for the purpose of installing a Windows XP. When I tried to copy my XP osi files to USB using Flashtoboot tool my Laptop suddenly stopped working with some blue screen messages and struck up with black screen with the letter "J".
I restarted my laptop using the power button, but all the time I am getting a black screen with the letter “J”. When I tried Ctrl + Alt +Del the screen is blinking for some time and again I am getting the same black screen
By pressing F1 key, I have done Hard Drive memory and RAM memory test. Both testing passed successfully. I tried Boot from local drive still black screen.

I'm from germany so no 'best buy' but I think I will lock around sleeve/bag for a different product with same measures. Any tip?
The clear plastic case is not what I want. I would like to use the player without such protections. I just want a sleeve to protect the player while its in my jacket/pants.
Btw, i have bought this version: Creative Zen (maybe european version?). I also doesn't seem to have your mentioned sleeve. I also couldn't find it on the website.

2. An error has occured in the system while copying the document

How to set system time from Terminal while booted from 10.6.3 server install disk?

I'm installing from a 10.6.3 server install disc onto a Mac Mini. However, the battery on this Mac Mini is pretty much dead, forcing the system time back to 1/1/2001. Through some research, this has created a problem in that I cannot move beyond the Welcome screen during setup of OS X server. It looks like the binary has issues with the system time being older.
But I'm stuck in that I don't know how to adjust the system time from the Terminal Utility on the boot CD. Can anyone help?

Hey, i just run in to something similar, tonight while trying to fix a computer.
The user set the time and date on his computer to 1998 and computer locked everything including time and date in system preferences, and his user account basicly making him from administrator to guest. he could not almost any program properly that required administrator privilages.
to fix this we used this comand in terminal " sudo date 201703162014 " todays time and date

we tryed everything and this fixed in 2 seconds
ps: when you type sudo in terminal it whil give you a warning the improper use of this command is bad.... click continue.otherwhise you will not be able to execute the command.

E430 - System shows only 2.5GB RAM, I have 4GB installed.

I have an E430 with Core i5 Ivy Bridge, 4GB RAM, onboard graphics. OS is Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. No components have been installed or replaced since purchase.
The problem is, system only shows I have 2.5GB RAM total. In BIOS it correctly shows 4096GB RAM installed.
People suggested it might be the graphics allocating the rest of the RAM (which makes sense in a way, since I read at some other places that max. RAM for the graphics is set around ~1.5GB). And they suggested I should look in the BIOS for a setting which would influence this. I found none.
I got some info about the graphics using a command, and it shows:
Memory at f0000000 (64-bit, non-prefetchable) [size=4M]
Memory at e0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M]
That does not look like allocating 1.5GB RAM to me.
Also there is this:
Kernel driver in use: i915
Is that the right driver?
Does anyone know whether it is really the GPU allocating way too much RAM? How could I stop it or make the currently-unused RAM available to the system again? Or is there another problem, not linked to GPU?

Free ram isn't the on,y ram that's available to run programs http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1342
BUT.....2gb is the bare minimum for running Lion, you need at least 4gb in reality. Your computer will run better with 4gb.

Hi,
Are you loading from the Flat File or from ECC?
If you are loading from FlatFile then you have to specify the InfoObject names in the "Template InfoObjects" area in DataSource-->Fields Tab.
Then when you create the Transformation then the Rules will be created Automatically.

I would imagine your iPhone was hacked to make it work on your local carrier.
Updating the iOs to 5.xx will lock it back to the original carrier .The carrier holding the lock are the only
entity able to authorise the unlock .You will have to contact them and see if they unlock and the terms the apply

System Running Slow-Disk Utility Shows Only 4GB Free - Help!

what are some of the common things that can be deleted that newbies don't realize take up space? I am encountering the beach ball when I try to do things like go between web pages or launch applications, etc. It appears that I am showing only 4.3 GBs available.
Since I share this Mac with my whole family, (movies, music, etc,) I'm suspecting that we are holding things that need to be deleted or saved to CD/DVD. This really didn't start until I upgrade to Leopard and also am using Time Capsule.
I appreciate any help for a novice!

You can safely delete anything in your home account / caches folder
/Users/account/Library/Caches
Sort by size, and dump some of the larger ones, like MetaData, and also look for QuickTime cache folder and others.
Backup to a FireWire drive or get one...

You could store common media files on external drive, partition it so you have room for a full backup of your drive, and room for media files on 2nd partition.

Pulling and upgrading your internal drive, and put it in a FW case, would probably make sense too.

Hi,
since the update to 10.5.2 my usb drive is always mounted read only if it is connected while booting.
If I connect it after booting or unmount and remount it after booting everything works fine.
Any ideas?

As the T169P is A Parameters Invoice Verification, so you can check the values for T169P table in SE16 so that you will get Clear idea regarding company code BP01 in which the stochastic block is active with Threshold value for stochastic block...

For maintaining Entries please go to OMRG maintain Company code and Threshold value as per client requirement so that This will specifies the degree of probability that an invoice is stochastically blocked.

Thank you for the question. It sounds like you are only seeing the 2 most recent days of your web browsing history in Safari.
If you haven't tried this yet, I suggest going to History > Show All History when Safari is open to see if more sites come up. You can find this step and more information at the following link:

Come on gents and gentesses...... I'm really sweating on this one. Can't properly display my combined audio and pic when showing the Timeline contents of FCP in the MacPr's TV monitor Only the pic is appearing without any proper sound, as reported above. Just a mono row.
Does nobody have any idea on the problem or am I too far up to date with the MacPro and FCP 5.1.4 for even Apple to let me in on the way to rectilfy. Bloomin' upgrades...... !

When you look at Setting > General > About does it show 550 in Songs?
Can you add songs to your phone from iTunes on your computer?
I did an iOS update to one of the 6.X versions and it wiped out all my music and I had to add it back manually even though I has just done a backup to iTunes. Restoring from that backup didn't help. My music was all gone. But since then I have not had any problems with the updates erasing my music.
