Table component crashes Yahoo Widget Engine

Experts,
I've been diving into widgets recently, seem to have found a bug and was wondering if anyone else has encountered it or has found a solution. The steps to reproduce the error is as following:
- Generate a kitchen sink widget from eclipse.
- Run it.
- Open the Table component example in the menu, maybe even click a row.
- Right click the widget and close it.
- A crash report of yahoo widgets pops up.
This sometimes occures when using the sort button of the table and only occures when tables are used. I have tested this on an updated unclean and clean xp install of a Dell Latitude D830 and HP dv9064 pavilion. The main similarity is that both use an nVidia card.
The machines are using Java 1.6.0_13, Yahoo widget engine 4.5.2, eclipse 3.4.2, XP SP3 Pro and Mediacenter edition.
I'm assuming the problem lies with the code of Yahoo (widget framework) or Cairographics (gui framework) but was wondering nontheless whether I'm the only case of this issue.

I think that problem exist because MS SQL 2008 SP2 is used with MS DMP 2010.
But I can't create backup DPM databases - solutions described in article submited by you doesn't work.

Error while using a table component in a widget

hi friends, i am trying the example from the enterprise widget development guide (https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/c032ae0a-7d6b-2a10-14a1-cc6efb066dfc) to create a widget for the BAPI_EMPLOYEE_GETDATA using the RFC but the method showTableCMainTable does not get created in the view.js file.

My Yahoo widget for dashboard

The "My Yahoo" widget on my dashboard has stopped working. In the purple bar that used to show "my latest headlines" it now just stays on "now loading". Also, my new mail is not indicated. The "search" to yahoo works. Any advise? I did some searching and discovered the Yahoo Widget Engine, but understand that this runs on Konfabulator and not on Dashboard. I removed the My Yahoo widget/preferemces and downloaded it again from:

It still does no work. Any information would be appreciated.

Can you download the widget directly from the developer's website?

Challenge popup menu, css stylesheet and button in table component

Hello, in my last post i put the code of an example of popup menu but the only thing that need to run was a cdata tag. But in the example i only can open and close the popup menu in the top and left location that previously set in the css stylesheet .
1.- I need to create a popup menu that can be diplayed if i click on a button in a table component of creator
2.- The menu must waits and let me select the opcion I choose with a click otherrewise
3.- The menu must dissapear if i move the cursor mouse away of the menu,
I really need somebody helps me faster as u can, and i apreciate ur help, tnks!

The best thing to do would be to find an existing popup menu widget in a JavaScript library, like dojo (dojotoolkit.org). If you can't find an existing JavaScript widget that fulfills your needs, you can write your own. It won't be easy, but you can use Creator's Auto Complete Text Field's JavaScript as a model. If that is the case, look at both the JavaScript at http://sunapp2.whardy.com/AjaxSamples2/faces/static/META-INF/autocomplete/script.js and the HTML source of the page located at http://sunapp2.whardy.com/AjaxSamples2/faces/DemoAutoCompleteTextField.jsp which is a page that is part of the Creator AJAX component catalog (http://developers.sun.com/ajax/componentscatalog.jsp).

Yahoo Widgets Not Functioning

Several months ago Yahoo Widgets malfunctioned on my Macbook Pro. When I activate it, the "gears" icon in the Desktop menu bar appears for a brief moment or two, then disappears. The app does not appear to be running as no widgets are visible nor does the widget dock open. Clicking directly on a widget does nothing. I've tried to get Yahoo to look into this but their advice is to dump the pref files. Duh. I tried that and nothing changed. I've also deleted and re-installed both the app and the most recent Java update with no result. Could this be a result of a recent java upgrade? It appears as though Mac's widget engine has also had some recent failure– could the two be caused by the same problem? Advice, please!

apparently, they have added encryption to all their services, including messenger. I have also heard on another forum that they are no longer updating the program for macs and are recommending people use ichat....however, the older ichats don't support yahoo, only the newer OS does. Adium and Trillium also fail to log into yahoo chat as well.

Table component uses outdated attributes

The text editor's table plugin [The table component] uses outdated markup for centering items vertically in a table cell:
It renders: <td valign="middle">
instead of using the modern:
<td style="vertical-align:middle">
This breaks the layout. I need to find out how to update the table plugin for the text editor.
Anyone knows how to fix this?

I got a patch from Adobe support:
You can do this change in [1] around line 672. You can change it to [3].
Note that isIE is declared in [2] around line 67. You can remove the setAttribute all together if you want to use style attribute for all browsers.

Yahoo Widgets Won't Run

Hello, I posted this in another group and have had no responses so I thought I'd try here.
I downloaded the Yahoo Engine and several Yahoo widgets onto my MacBook but they won't run. The Engine installs but none of the widgets appear.
I downloaded the same Engine and widgets on my Mac Pro and they run just fine.
Does anyone know why my MacBook would not run them while my Mac Pro does?

Installed Leopard - Yahoo Widgets no longer work

After not being able to launch widgets once Leopard was installed, I uninstalled the Widget engine and widgets. Went to Yahoo site to download latest engine. Download shows as "happening". As soon as it's at 100%, it "disappears" (no desktop icon installer). What am I doing wrong?

Yahoo Widgets is not compatible with Leopard. The program runs, but none of the widgets will open.
Regarding your download, Apple changed the default location from the Desktop to the Downloads folder. You can change the preferences in Safari back to the Desktop. Once a download is complete, the Downloads folder in the Dock should change to show the file that was just downloaded. When you click on it, it opens the stack so you can access the newly downloaded file.

Clicking a tree node does not refresh the fields in the table component

hi all,
I am using a tree component along with a table component in my page.so whenever i am clicking on a node it should display the relevant information of that node in the table from the database.But whenever i am doing the page is not refreshing and the old values of the textfields in the table still exist.i have written the code to populate the table in a button click event.It is working fine but the same is not working when i am clicking any node in the tree component.Can anyone provide a solution to this problem.

Table component disturbing the order of rows while displaying

HI,
In jspx when ever data is displayed in table,when we select last page the table component
is displaying data which is not sorted.(values given to table are changed in output).
This is occuring only in last page.
EX:If i have 87 records with pagination,where 15 are displayed.
when i select to last page the output from my query is not matching the data viewed.
Using apache trinidad1.0.5

Problem with text direction in table component for text with two language!

Hi,
I want to display text in table component by binding to the one property,and also the language of this text is farsi that must be in the RTL direction.
so i defined a direction in style of staticText component in the table.
when the text is only in farsi language ,it works correct but when the text has one or more words in english language ,format of the text changed and the words moved in text.

All HTML elements are accesable via DOM in browsers.
Indeed to change an element attribute in html files (in browser without server interaction) we use scripts to access DOM tree and then we change the element attribute.
for example when you write
document.forms[1].submit()
you accessing the element using DOM tree.
About Farsi problem , I think there is no solution for this problem , as you may know , when we mix RTL and LTR languages in one element text attribute , we have no control over its appearance.
If i understand your post , you want to show both rtl and ltr in one static Text , which is not doable in simple manner.
At least i can not offer you a simple way to solve this.

Problem with checkbox on table component

Hello i am having a problem with checkbox in table component
i am developing something like a shopping cart app and i have a checkbox in my table component , i want users to select items from the checkbox to add to thier cart, They can select the items from cartegory combobox , my problem is when they select the items from the checkbox if they select another category the alread selected once do not display in my collection opbject please how can i maintain the state of the already selected items in my collection object

How to change font size, in a table component!

Hello,i im trying to change the font size of the text inside a table component and i want to disappear the borders of the table, i was trying to achieve this using style, but this dont work, can anybody can help me with this?

Table component - how to find out which cell is clicked

Hello!
I have a couple of questions regarding table component
1. Is there any way to find out which table cell is clicked on?
2. And is it possible to paint clicked cell programmatically?
Possible solution might be a Select Boolean Checkbox inside a cell, but anyway, i'd have to determine which cell contains this checkbox (some kind of cell coordinates, etc...)
