Table containing Budget for a given project

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to fetch the ROOT LEVEL Budget FOR a given Project.
Can someone Throw some light on the tables involved and how they are linked.

I am supposed to fetch Current Budget field in the transaction CJ30 for a given Project.
I didnot find appropriate field in RPSCO for this.

What tables contain data for the CUP requests in 5.3?

What are all of the tables that contain the data that appears in the CUP requests? We are on version 5.3 SP13.
We are selling off one of the divisions of our company and one of the terms is that we have to provide all relevant data, including CUP requests. Since there are several hundreds of requests for this division (last count was over 600), it is not practical to just download the individual requests out of CUP. So plan B is to just give them the data.
I know there are several tables that contain this data, and I know some of them (such as VIRSA_AE_REQD_HDR and VIRSA_AE_RQD_WPHS), but I don't know all of them. (and I would rather not have go thru and to check every table)

I have never looked at the VT_AE tables to extract any information. Since your requirement is unique, I have a positive note that SAP would help you with it. Giving a try would worth it sometimes

Problems on creating table under schema for BPM Demo project

hi,
i have not enough experience in database concepts, but i can create ,insert and modify the tables and data by using SQL query in oracle database 10 g express edition
The reason behind send this qurery is i wanted to create the database tables under "Quote" schema., which is necessary to store and retrive data for my BPM demo project.
Two important . Sql scirpt file namely create_user.sql and quote.sql used to create the database tables under "quote" schema available on e:/bpm/sql
i could create "quote" schema by this command on commandline,
>cd e:/bpm/sql
>sqlplus sys/welcome as sysdba @create_user.sql quote quote
but when creating database tables under "quote" schema , i got "SP2-0734 - unknown command exception thrown
in commandline i was used like this to create table,
>sqlplus quote quote @quote.sql
Can anyone who familiar with database query concept help me to create tables on "quote " schema,

Still am not able to find out the FM/ table whom its pending for approval (shopping cart). Could you please help me on this?

Sorry Neil,
that was nonsense: I confused billing plan with installment plan: In telecom, media, utilities and other businesses with many (small) customers, you can use module contract accounting (in connection with SAP business partner). If people can't pay their bill, the company can agree on paying by installments. For this, contract accounting module uses the installment plan. This will split up the debt into slices due i.e. every month. Table fkk_instpln_head is used for this.

Can you set a Cost Rate Table to be used for an entire project

In earlier versions of project, the default cost rate table (A) is used unless changed by the user for each assignment. In 2010, is it possible to define which cost rate table to use for the entire project, not at the assignment level?

I assume you want project to have a default cost rate, so why not set the cost rate details into A to begin with, You could then set this as a template from which you initiate all your new projects see FAQ

Universal publish settings for a particular project?

i was wondering if it was possible to set up a universal publishing directory for a given project so that i do not have to go and manually change the publish settings for each individual .fla.
any help would be much appreciated.

Your end result should be DVD, which is 720 x 480 NTSC or 720 x 576 PAL.
Use a SD widescreen sequence setting and downrez your HDV or let the camera do that for you by capturing SD format. If you have captured HDV, you can either downrez by using Motion/Scale to fit your SD resolution or use Scale to frame. The latter has a small drawback in that it will result in small black bars left and right, that will normally not show up when played on a TV.

Finding the resource controls of a given project

Currently, one can use "*prctl*" to list resource control limits of a given project. However, to gather the statistics of the usage by all processes associated with a given project in relation to these resource control limits, we would need to execute multiple commands/utilities.
For some, information outputs can be direct, yet for others, outputs can be indirect. Even then it is not guaranteed that all statistics are collected.
I thought of developing a command/utility acting like "sar" or "vmstat" that gathers statistics on usage of all resource controls for a given project.
Could you please drop in your suggestions on the features such a command should have ?

Do you know how to find the minimum value of a collection? You will want to do the same here but search for the minimum difference instead of the minimum value. Math.abs() will help deal will negative differences.

Missing Functionality -where do I set a budget for a Project?

Budgeting for Projects is non - existent
Budget for Profit and Loss for a particular project , How is it done ?
Does not work , No facility to put in Budget for a project ?
The report I am trying to run is:
REPORTS>FINANCIAL>BUDGET REPORTS>Profit and Loss Statement Budget Report.Then go to Expanded and choose a PROJECT, say MailOrder.
The result is that it will show the MailOrder project for the ACTUAL but it will show the whole company Turnover against the BUDGET column.
This is because there is no place to set a budget for MailOrder Project in the first place. So the question is where do I set a budget for a Project?
1 Budget setup screen - this has no facility to setup a budget for a PROJECT
2.Budget Profit and Loss - this has the facility to run a PROJECT budget but the figures for the Budget cannot be right because they were not setup in the first place.
PS MailOrder project is just an example.

Please ignore my previous replies because I have now worked out why this idea will not work:
Kerstins' idea is based on setting up new Nominal Codes for every Project and for Every Nominal Code in the Profit and Loss structure. Apart from the fact that this will create a messy Nominal Structure with hundreds of Nominal Codes, the main issue here is the way the Cost Of Goods Sold is structured. The logic of our Nominal Structure for Sales and Cost of Goods is based on Item/Item Groups and the Nature of these Items. In our case we sell Skin Care products under 3 Brands. Say Brand A, B and C
So Brand A is summarised into one item Group and the ITEM GROUP is coded to Sales Nominal 20000 and the Cost of this group is coded to Nominal 30000. In Kertins suggestion, I would need to raise a Nominal Code 20001 for say Project Mail Order and 30001 for the Cost of Goods for Mail Order but this the Mail Order project is selling ALL our brands (A,B,C) - so you can see the problem here. You cannot use Nominal Codes for two different purposes and make it work. So the problem here is that my BRAND A summary will contain a Nominal with a Project Mail Order, that has SALES of Brand A,B,C. The Net effect will be that we will not be able to summarise anything in SALES and Cost of SALES in a logical way (Neither by Brand or By Project) and the Nominal Structure will be a mess.
My conclusion is that SAP b1 Sales and Cost of Goods section demands certain logic when building the Nominal Codes, and this is based on the NATURE OF THE STOCK ITEM and trying to superimpose the PROJECT issue into this, will never work. In my view, the PROJECT issue needs to be sorted without involving New Nominal codes and the starting point would be in sorting out the SALES and COST of SALES and the project Budget for this.
Please let me know if you need further illustration of the problem.

Work around for Budget allocated to Different Projects.

Hi All,
Is there any way i can work around to allocate the Budget based on Projects? Its a construction industry and each of the projects will have a budget for expenditure. At any point of time this budget should not be exceeded in a given project. All the projects have different budgets and is not standard across all projects.
Is there any work around to assign the budgets project wise in this case?

Table containing Partner Functions Data for a specific Vendor

I'm building an iView on our Supplier Portal, and part of our "Welcome iView", we want to show supplier (vendor) relevant information contained in the Vendor Master. One of them is to show their Quality Partners in Read mode, including their phone # and email address. However, I cannot find the tables linking a Vendor to all the "partners" listed in the Display Vendor : Partner Functions Screen. Do you happen to know where this data is? Also, all the details for a given partner is contained somewhere else, which table(s) would that be?

SQL Query to search all the tables for a given string

This is concerning a query to search each and every table/column for a given string.
I came across a similar post (Re: question about searching 600 tables and this query seems to be inline with my requirements:

Thanks so far. I am yet to make the crucial breakthrough as far my application goes. Are you talking about the EUL5_QPP_STATS table? I tried retrieving worksheets even from that table also with the following query

it is not giving correct date . is any functional module is available ? . i checked some table like mbew , mard . it is also not giving correct requirement . Please help

Goto transaction MC.9, Give your Material and,Plant and the date which you need to know the closing stock. Do make sure that in the high and low values you are giving the same date there.
