Table control on ITS need to design

Hi,
Can anybody let me know how to create Table Control on ITS Template ?
I need to create one Table control in ITS template in internet service .
With this i also need to transfer OK code in SAPGUI .
I have created Table contol in SAP gui and want to display on ITS Template .
I have internal table which i want to show on ITS .
any help will be appreciated .

Hi,
here a short example how to display a table control on a ITS template:

MY_TC is the name of the table control.

Table Control in ITS is getting wrongly displayed

Hi All,
I Have developed a program(say abc) and created a screen for that program(abc).
My issue is that,i have kept the table control in the box .
When i execute the screen in se80 under the program(abc) ,its displaying properly ( i mean table control is inside the box).
I have created an internet service program in se80 where i am passing the transaction code of that program(abc) in the parameters tab.
**problem is***
but when i execute the internet service program(xyz) after publishing then the
table control is coming out of the box in ESS ,
i mean the width of the table control is not getting reduced.
It(table control) has to get fit inside the box.
even though its working properly through screen.
please help me out of this issue.

Hi ,
I have set vertical scroll bar to 'X' but still when I scroll the scroll bar the counter is getting incremented and the last entered value is appended many times in the table control.
What can be done to overcome this issue?

How to increase the rows of a Table control on ITS

Hi,
I'm trying to increase the number of rows to 20 on ITS but it always shows 2 rows per navigation. Although in the backend module pool there are 8 rows and the GV_SOS_LIST_CONTROL-LINES contains the total no of rows of the internal table. yet there are always 2 rows getting printed. This screen is in different function group and being called from some other function group i.e BBP_SC_UI_ITS. Are there any parameters that we have missed out to pass from BBP_SC_UI_ITS to our function group. Reply needed urgently!!!!!!!!!!!

i tried increasing the rows on the browser by hard coding the counter and then the rows do increase but the records that are shown are still 2 per navigation. i doubt if it is a screen size constraint. the transaction in which i'm trying all this is bbpsc01.

Hi,
In your ABAP screen you have two statements:
- PBO - Process before output - in this statement you generate all information to table control
- PAI - Process after input - in this statement you catch all values from users imput
If you want to capture values you must program PAI statement for example:
process after input.
loop.
    chain.
      field:
            zbbps_bid_ui_item_first-guid,
            zbbps_bid_ui_item_first-contact_guid,
            zbbps_bid_ui_item_first-description,
            zbbps_bid_ui_item_first-quantity,
            zbbps_bid_ui_item_first-start_price.
       module gt_item_bidder_first_update on chain-request.
    endchain.
endloop.
in process after imput I capture 5 fields from table control: guid, contact_guid, description, quantity and start_price.
module gt_item_bidder_first_update updates my internal table in PAI.
or you can do like this:
process before output.
module prepare_personlist_tc.
loop at gt_personlist
          into gs_personlist
          with control tc_personarea
          cursor tc_personarea-current_line.
endloop.
module web_transport.
process after input.
loop at gt_personlist.
    module update_sel_person_from_tc.
endloop.
In this code I fill table with values (module prepate_personlist_tc).
Module web-transport is responsible to transfer values to the ITS.
in PAI I loop on all table control and update values in internal table.

Regarding Design of the Table Control

Hi Experts,
I am using Link to Action in one of the Column in the Table Control, Now i am using Designing type as Alternating,
The Column which is using the Link to Action appearing the White Background, and the rest of the Coloumns are appearing as Blue background, I need a uniformity for the Look and Feel, How can i achieve this ?
If i am using the Table control with Alternative Design without the Link to Action as the Column it is appearing the with Alternative Colors.But this Violates my functionality.
How can i achieve this Alternating Colors when we are using Link to Action .????

To differentiate the type of cell Varients, SAP has marked them with different colors. Unfortunately, we cannot work around this.

How to get all the index of "selected rows" in table control?

I have a table control, wherein I need to get selected row so that I can get its respective TABIX.
I know that the event for capturing selected row is in PAI.
I also ensure that the w/ selColumn name in my screenpainter is exactly the same as my declaration in ABAP.

BUG:
When I'm selecting multiple rows in table control, only the last row is always being read inside the loop of my table control.

Notice in the debug screenshot, even if it's just in the 1st loop of table control, it automatically gets the 4th table control index, instead of the 2nd one.

Hi,
Are you sure that you have selected multiple line for tablecontrol in the property window of the tablecontrol.
Flowlogic.
LOOP WITH CONTROL TC_01.
     Module Get_Marked.
ENDLOOP.
Module Pool
Module Get_Marked.
read the data from the internal table where mark = 'X'.
this should give you only selected records.
Endmodule.
Kindly check the tablecontrol property.

Table control as non editable

Hi experts,
                I need make my table control as noneditable for a specific transaction after fetching values.
i did till fetching part and displaying in table control. but its diplaying as editable field. i need to make that as non editable... plz help me in this....this screen is for only dispaly purpose...

Based on your transaction identifier , and also give the Screen group1 for all the columns ex: AAA you can do some thing like this in the PBO

Problem with looping table control in PAI

Hi,
I have a table control which displays 10 records at a time. In PAI it is looping only these 10 records even though itab has more than 10. I need to do some validations on all the records. How to overcome this prob.

c if u want to do validationsdo it on the internal table before passing it to the table control..
Secondly in a table control if its size on the screen is for displaying 4 records only den it will display on 4 while running even though ur table has 10 records...
So in SE41 drag and increase the size for table control...den it will display all records..
And if u dont want dis..den write the code for vertical scroll in table control..
Get back to me in case u want 2 do dat..

To Disble the Field in Table Control after clicking Save button

I have a requirement as follows. i need to disable one field in the table control after clicking save button. i tried with SCREEN elements but it disabling whole the table control but i need to disable that particular one record only in the table control. i found Structure CXTAB_COLUMN in documentaion. it has the properties like invisible. can any body tell how can we disble that particular field in table control only for the one record. and how can we use CXTAB_COLUMN.

Is it possible to create Table Controls(in Dynpro) dynamically

HI All
I am not sure if we can create screen elements dynamically especially Table Controls. I need to create a Table control in a custom screen but the fields/columns in the table control are known at run time. Is it possible?? Appreciate any light on this subject.

Strange issue with table control in dialog programming! Please help!

Hello everyone:
I have a table control on screen painter and I have atleast 10 rows on display when user calls the screen. If I have 15 columns then ofcourse user has to scroll down to see extra rows. I have line selection set to "single" for table control so that user can select only one row at a time. This works fine when user does not have to scroll to see extra rows. It is tough for me to explain i.e., if the table control displays 10 rows when the screen opens up then they can only select single row at a time (rows 1 -10). For example user selected row 7 and now they scroll down to see extra rows (for example 13) then it lets them select row 13 also even though I set line selection to "single" in the properties for table control! They should be able to select only one row at a time. Is this some limitation with table control in SAP? Please give me any information you have.

Hi,
As you suspected, this is a limitation in the table control. You need to take care of the single-selection functionality yourself except for the rows that are actually being displayed. See [Note 588284|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/588284] for the official SAP explanation.

       How to Populate Internal table data to Table Control in a Report Program? It is a pure report program with out any Module pool coding involved, which is just used to display data. Till now it is being displayed in a report. Now the user wants the data to be displayed in a table control. Could someone tell me how to go about with this.

If you want to use a table control, you will need to create a screen.
In your report....
start-of-selection.
perform get_data. " Get all your data here
call screen 100. " Now present to the user.
Double click on the "100" in your call screen statement. This will forward navigate you to the screen. If you have not created it yet, it will ask you if you want to create it, say yes. Go into screen painter or layout of the screen. Use the table control wizard to help you along the process. It will write the code for you. Since it is an output only table control, it will be really easy with not a lot of code.
A better way to present the data to the user would be to give it in a ALV grid. If you want to go that way, it is a lot easier. Here is a sample of the ALV function module. You don't even have to create a screen.

How to transfer the contents of a line of a table control to second screen?

I have a table control and I have entered some contents in one line of a table control .
When i click on this line and then click on the detail button on the screen , it should take me to another screen and whatever I have entered in the table control should be transferred to the second screen .

U should considere the variable line has the value of the index of the line of table control, so u need to calculate the number of the corresponding line of internal table:
MODULE USER_COMMAND.

* Calculate the line of internal table:
       VN_LINE = <TABLE CONTROL>-TOP_LINE + VN_LINE - 1.
* Read the data
       READ TABLE ITAB INDEX VN_LINE.

I have an requirement to change table control column header text dynamically.
i.e. I have about 10 columns in table control, out that need to change 5 columns header text. These header texts are stored in an internal table.
I had looked into the below link but could not get exactly how to do it.

What you will need to do is this.....
1. First replace the column Header Text box by I/O Fields and name them accordingly.
Say for example we will consider the same example which i had explained in the link.
there in the column header we want the header to change when some dates and entered into two fields which are out of table control say
Start Date: 01.01.2010 to End Date: 06.01.2010
Now we want the header to look like this,
Column No.    -        1               2             3                  4               5               6
Header label   -    01/FRI       02/SAT     03/SUN       04/MON     05/TUE      06/WED
Header name -    SPOTS1   SPOTS2    SPOTS3      SPOTS4     SPOTS5    SPOTS6
then you go as per the instructions in the link......

Screen painter or table control problem

Hi All,
I have created two maintenance views for two custom tables , and two views has been created .
in one view when i excuting sm54 and display i could able to see all the fields in the table control ,
but in the other view i could see only one field very in the table control.
Is this the problem of screen painter with table control , shall i need to intall screen painter again
i am using 4,7 version os sap ,

the screen and include all the fields , actually the system proposes the screen when we are creating
the table maintenance generator.
i selected one step and screen proposed by sap in the overview screen as 1 and i have created table maintenance.
