Table data retrival time

Dear all,
I have a table with 20 columns and with 3 rows totally in the table.. when querying the table, it takes 1 minute to give the 3 rows.. all other tables are working fine.. please give me a clue what I can check in this ?

Yes, This is oracle application...
We can move into other tablespace as well. But concern is how to improve the alter table move command performance.
Is there any specific parameter apart from the nologging and parallel server..
If it is taking 8 hours , can some have experience that nologging will save how much time. or is there any risk in doing in production.

I'm working in a MHP project and I need to access information about the current time and hour. I have been using Calendar class but it doesn't work in my ADB. So I think that I should access to the SI tables using an asinchronus listener. Can somebody help sending some code snnipets.

yes I have tried it and it works in a my ADB but not in the real test enviorment. I have been using this expression:

As you know this way shall be quite easier than accessing to the Tables but maybe I must access directly to the tables

hi all,
Am using win98 and Oracle 7.
I have splitted a table into two tables having 10 and 9 fields respectively and records of 2000.Now in form builder I have put both tables in same block and on same canvas.
Now when I execute a query I retrieve records of 1st table and can navigate through records of 1st table only .To retrive records of 2nd table I have to put curser in 2nd table and query again for data retrival from 2nd table.This is bothering me to match coulmn of both tables.
Is there any way to execute the records of both tables at a time, so that matching coulmns of both tables would become easy to reach.

That's not an error, you can see errors within log and bad files.

Thats not easy. If your transaction info still resides on active portion of the log you can use fn_dblog to read out the time at which the transactions occurs. This is useful only if you try it shortly after transaction.
the code would look like this

Retriving records with the date and time stamp

I need to get all the records that were update between 08:36:06 AM and 8:36:09 AM on the12/15/2009
I am using this query it is giving me the right numbers (I think) because this condition GURMAIL_CPLN_CODE = 'UGAP', I would like something more

Pls give us the information about the version of database and forms you are using.
it is possible to do so,provided you are aware of maximum no of columns(i.e no of tables which you use) and there datatypes before hand and also you have to use visible property extensively to show and hide the columns

Ned to insert current Date AND Time in a table

Hi:
This should be a simple one. I need to insert the current (system) date AND time in a columnof a table. From the documentation, it appears that the column datatype should be DATE (at least it claims to be able to support both date and time). It is also claimed that SYSDATE contains the current system date and time. But when I try to insert SYSDATE into a DATE column, all that gets logged is the date (without the time of day).

THere must be some way to instruct the insertion of the time as well. Also, the YY-MMM-DD format is undesirable. I'd prefer "YYYY-MM-DD HH:MI:SS". An attempt to insert TO_DATE(SYSDATE,'YYYY-MM-DD HH:MI:SS') fails as well.
Any suggestions?
P.S. I entered this question yesterday, Aug 6th, but it didn't seem to stick for some reason.

Your NLS_DATE_FORMAT is set to show only the DATE element. If you run this query:
SELECT to_char(curr_date,'HH:MI:SS')
FROM your_table
/You would see that the time element has been populated as well.

How to clear the table data at the time of leaving fromt the page

EABP table dats is missing in TDMS ERP time slice tranfer

Hi,
Is EABP table (Budget Billing Plan) is not part of TDMS ERP transfer? Recently we did some erp time slice transfer with 2 yrs of data but this table data was not selected in sender system. Our project team needs this table data for their testing. For temporary solution we transported table data from sender system to receiver system with sap transport tools.
Is anyone have any idea why this table data was not carried out with tdms?

It should get transferred by TDMS, there may be some customizing issue. Raise a OSS message to SAP support they will be able to solve it.

may be you can use this function module ME_READ_EKKO_MULTIPLE which can be used to pass the select options to retrieve the desired EKKO data.
OR the best way would be to do a SELECT Query which would retrieve the data faster and in an effective manner.
