Table for Cost Center Data

Hello Experts,
We are customizing a financial report and having a strange requirment, where we need to sum up the total value(Debit+credit) of a particular cost element from cost center report S_ALR_87013611.
For example, Cost element 600000 is having debit value 5000 and credit value 2000 in the report S_ALR_87013611, so we need to bring the value of 3000 (Sum of debit and credit value) in customize financial report for cost element 600000.
I have checked the table COSS with value type 4, but I am getting there 2000 debit and 2000 credit, 3000 debit is got missing.
Please can any one tell me which table should I check for getting the proper data?

COSS and COSP are not serving my purpose.
COSSA & COSPA are the structure table.
I am not able to find cost center field in COEP table.

Table for cost center plan/actual data

Hello gurus,
What are the tables to get for cost center wise plan/ actual data? The data which was entered through KP06 was sitting in whcih table?

Hello Ramachandra,
Actual and Plan Data can be found in COVP view.
1) For Actuals, you should use the values 04 and 11 to the field WRTTP;
2) For Plans, you should use the values 01 and 10 to the field WRTTP.
If you need to get the totals, you should use tables COSP and COSS.

For cost center, the value table is CSKS (Cost Center Master Data).
For PO data, which is related to Cost center data, you can refer to the tables EKBN

Report Writer Missing Data for Cost Center+Investment Internal Order

Hi Gurus,
I have met a problem on Report writer. T-code KSBB -> Report for Cost Center Group by Cost Elements in diff months.
The report can be drilled down to call KSB1 to give line items on the cost element by cost center/group.
The problem is the drill-down report missed the line items for investment orders. ( Compared with manually use KSB1)
The overhead internal order line items are fine.
For example, document 001-Apr:
Dr. Cost Element 1009                 $900 -- BA 90 Cost Center 90000 Investment order 9001
     Cr. Other cost elements.                  $900
Document 002-Apr
Dr. Cost Element 1009                 $800 -- BA90 Cost Center 90000 Overhead order 7001
     Cr. Other cost elements                      $800
In KSBB report, the cost center group for 90000 in cost element 1009 in Apr only has $800.
And the drilled down report which called KSB1 has the line item for docuemnt 002.
However, when I run KSB1 directly, the total amount for cost element 1009 in cost center 90000 is $1700.
Here is what I checked:
1. I have my ABAPer checked the KSBB program and KSB1 program to debug them in DEV ( DEV and PRD has the same problem). The different to get the data is that in KSB1, it has selected a value type 11 ( Googled: field name is WRTTP, Down payments as expenses. In program: WRTTP means Statistically Actual ) and 04 ( Googled: Actual True Posting. In program: 04 in WRTTP means Actual posting).
But in KSBB, it only select 04 when I clicked the drill down report to call KSB1.
2. I am thinking that the cause was on different types of internal order:
Overhead internal orders are statistical orders. Investment orders are actual orders.
Could you help to throw some light on the problem?

Binocular search for Cost Center is not returning any data

Hi Gurus,
When clicking on the SRM-Shooping Cart-Cost Assignment- Account Assignment Overview- Cost center Binocular search icon, it is not returning any data. However, when drilling down in the Account Assignment Overview, you will see another Binocular search icon for Cost Center which is working fine.
Any idea of how you troubleshoot it.

Not sure about the cost assignment drill down, but after we applied SP13 to SRM server 550 the binoculars for cost center stopped working. the following note corrected this.

If it has never worked, then probably need to setup a RFC dialog user for the F4 search help, Multiple threads on here around the dialog user for F4 with details on configuration and use.

Extracting cost center data from two tables

I'm trying to extract cost center data from two different tables in SAP and pull it into one InfoObject. I'm using 0costcenter and it's already extracting data from one of the tables I need. Could someone explain how to add the second table? Thank you.

You can create a Generic Extractor , Create a view on 2 tables with proper join condition n use this to load 0COSTCENTER.

The tables for storing groups in SAP are SETNODE and SETLEAF. The codes in the previous message posted by my fellow SAP consultant are transactions and not tables.
The classes are:
Cost centres - 0101
Cost elements - 0102
Profit centres - 0106

Why time-dependent not work for cost center and profit center hierarchy

Has anybody been able to successfully turn on time-dependent for cost center hierarchy? Looks like the R/3 datasource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER is defaulted to be NOT time-dependent, and I dont know how to change the R/3 configuration to enable time-dependent for this datasource.
Here is what I found. If you go to RSA2 in R/3 and enter datasource 0COSTCENTER_0101_HIER, and then select "Hierarchy Info", you will see that all the time-dependent properties are unchecked by default. By comparison, Cons Unit datasource 0CS_UNIT_CSCU_HIER has Version Dependent Hierarchy as selected, and we are able to load Cons Unit hierarchy as time-dependent, but have no luck so far with the Cost Center hierarchy.
Can any BI guru tell me how I can make time-dependent work for the cost center hierarchy?

Check SETLEAF and SETNODE.
Basically CO Master data groups dont have seperate tables. They will be available in above tables. Choose proper Set class to filter the results

but in this we we have to give the cost center name
but my requirement is sending data of all cost centers with a variant.

Hi,
Yes Controlling Area and Cost Centre Code are mandatory. Get a table dump of table CSKS for all cost centre code and enter in the selection screen using multiple selection feature. Do the same for controlling area from table TKA01 and run the report.

BAPI_GLX_GETDOCITEMS and no Cost Center Data

Hi,
i'm using the BAPI "BAPI_GLX_GETDOCITEMS" to extract all documents from General Ledger. This BAPI returs the structure "ITEMSLIST" which contains a field for the Cost Center. I took a look at several Documents via FB03 and there are many documents with a specified Cost Center.
When i use the BAPI to extract all documents for a specific Company Code, the Cost Center field is always empty.
Does anyone know what the problem might be and how i could fix this?
I am using Pentaho Data Integration (and it's SAP Plugin) to connect to a SAP R/3 System.

thanks for the answer. You were right, i am in New GL and I just checked the table "FAGLFLEXA" and there is really no Cost Center saved at any table entry.
Is there another possibility to get Cost Center Data without activating the Cost Center Scenario (FIN_CCA), perhaps extracting documents from SAP CO? I've heard, that New GL supports a real time integration of CO with FI.
