Please help with the table name from which we can extract the bank name and swift code of vendors with the key input as vendor numbers
Hello Subhadra, I'm sorry, I should've said join of LFBK and BNKA. The fields for the join will be the bank country(BANKS) and bank key (BANKL).

This is how your join should look in BASIS mode, your selection parameter should be vendor code LIFNR; output fields with be bank name BANKA and swift code SWIFT.

DELIVERY DATE will be maintain in the SALES DOCUMENT TYPES in VOV8 in the tab REQUESTED DELIVERY DATE/PRICING DAE/PURCHASE ORDER DATE.
The field is PROPOSE DELIVERY DATE .
If you check the field then the document created date will be the Requested date and will be carried from ORDER TO DELIVERY.
If you want the delivery date other thann the CURRENT date then you have to maintain the LEAD TIME in days in the same tab.
SHIP DATE: is the date on which you do the PGI in the delivery .

In Country Field Check, OY17, If I select the bank key (section key for bank directory) options 4, assigned externally; then in FI01 bank key data creation, my bank number (in control data section) can be freely defined.
If in OY17, my bank key option is 1, bank number. Then, during FI01 bank data creation, my bank number must be same with bank key.
My question is that: I would like, in OY17, selection option 4, but I would like to have some clarifications on FI01 bank creation as well as electronic bank statement ( section of: Assign bank account accounts to transactions types): In the section of Assign bank account accounts to transactions types, I need to fill in bank key+bank account and transaction type.
My Questions: during MT940, electronic bank statement (EBS), since I set bank key + bank account, what control data (in FI01 screen) that SAP will use for automatic EBS? Bank number or SWIFT code?
Besides that, I am not quite understand statement by SAPPress book, Quick Reference Guide Financial Accounting with SAP - Chapter 7 Banking, as follows:
If you use the SWIFT code as bank key in a specific country, we strongly recommend that you set the bank data flag on the further checks section in OY17. This ensures that the system automatically performs the formal control on the SWIFT code entered in the SWIFT code field (BNKA-SWIFT), and not on the SWIFT code entered in bank key.

Bank key is a country unique number in the US it is called the ABA routing number.
The account ID is a user definable field that allows you to "name" your bank accounts at your bank using any convention you prefer.
Bank master data means all the data related to a particular BANK .examole HDFC all the information related this particular bank.
House bank master data it is related all your bank master data.Example,Hdfc,ICICI,Axis ,BOB etc.
The S.W.I.F.T. code is used for identifying banks in international payment transactions.Uniquely identifies a bank throughout the world.
Bank number is a code given to a particular Bank.

The Tables for COPA Data are CE1xxxx, CE2xxxx,, CE3xxxx, and CE4xxxx,. These tables contain data at different levels.\
COPA tables are defined based on ur operating concern as below -
There is the table CE1xxxx for actual line items (where xxxx = operating concern), which contains all the data at the most detailed level.Holds the line items - Contains Profitablility Segment No, Period, Posting Date, Characteristics & Value fields.
Planned line items are stored in the table CE2xxxx.
The segment level CE3xxxx is set up between the segment table and the line items, thereby making a time-based classification possible. Alongside value fields, the segment level also contains the characteristics record type, planned/actual indicator, version, and period, as well as some additional technical details. Several lines from the segment level are attached to a particular profitability segment (that is, to a line in the segment table). These lines all have the same segment number but relate to different posting periods.
There is also the segment table CE4xxxx, which is located at a higher level. It is used to assign segment numbers to each combination of characteristic values. For the first summarization to be performed, at least the document number and the billing item are hidden.
Basically COPA Reports picks up data by default from Summarization level (if exist) .
The method suggested above may help you find exact table.

i am having an issue in my "save site as a template". i have created a subsite few weeks back with doc libs and splists, disc.forum and based on the template subsite I have created new subsites. now
as per my new requirement i need to add new doclibs and few columns in these doc lib. But I am unable to find which sub site was taken as a template.since i have many subsites with different names, I forgott
to make meaningful names, i gave some datetime for the templatesubsites,
like project_27_jul_2pm,project_20_jul_7pm, etc etc.
So would like to know, is it possible to find out from which subsite I have taken/prepared the template subsite.

Get a font's file name from the font's postscript name (on Windows)
I am trying to obtain the the font file name when the only information I have is the font's 'postscript' name. (Emphasis: the font's name is postscript and not the font).
For example I have the following postscript name: TimesNewRomanPSMT.
The real name that is saved in the registry is: Times New Roman (TrueType).
Is there any way of obtaining that name from the given postscript name?
Currently I am coding this for Windows, but it should be compatible, or at least have alternative code for MacOSFunny. I'm having the same problem and was about to post the exact same question
In Photoshop, there is "app.fonts", which lets you get a font's postscript name from the font's name. This doesn't exist in After Effects.
My only hope is that there's a way to get a font's postscript name in Visual Basic. I'll let you know if I find anything useful. -
Extraction (0fi_gl_14) decision issues: what to be key fields / Errors

I am having extraction (0fi_gl_14) decision issues: to determine what will be the key fields / Errors in maintaining datasource in BI
1.
In rsa3, for 0FI_GL_14, how do I know what makes each of these records unique?
I was about to guess Document number but there were duplicates of Document number, so, if this is to be extracted to the BI into a DSO, how do you know what should be the key field for the for the DSO to ensure that those fields are extracted. Is this how it is determined?

Also, the datasource 0fi_gl_14 had too many fields and I wanted to maintain it in BI to transfer on a few fields for my extraction test. I unchecked most of the fields under the fields tab but after modification activation fails with several error messages.
i. Any reason why during the business content installation of 0fi_gl_14, I used Grouping: before and after in flow, and yet DSO (0FIGL_O14) and datasource were not linked and mapped correctly?
ii. Also when I tried to create the transformation, only about 3 fields mapped automatically. Is there a way to do it in such a way that when you create a transformation between business content objects such as this datasource to the DSO, the transformation will be automatically mapped?
iii. I just needed to test the extraction into the DSO and there are also many similar fields, and repetition in the datasource and I am not sure which ones to select in the datasource maintenance screen as relevant and which ones not to select to prevent the error messages. There appears to be some dependencies.
Can you show me a few of the most relevant fields, with specific technical names for me to use in my test? How are these decisions typically made in the real world?

2. It is not advisable to modify the datasource, deselecting fields, etc. If certain fields are not needed do not map the same in the rules.
i. Datasource exists only in ECC. What we find in BW is a replica of it. take the infoproviders rather and install the dataflow before.
ii. You can install the rules for this flow rather than creating the same. For rules to be proposed automatically (for custom created datasources in BW) enter the infoobject in the template field in fields tab of the datasource.Then proposals appear automatically. For std datasources we could install rules from content. -

Setting the layer name from a format plugin with CS2 and before
Hello,
I wrote a new format plugin and the name of the layer shown in PS , when I read a file, does not seem to be consistent on all computers for versions CS2 and before : some times I get "Background" and some times I get "Layer 0" .
When the layer is named is "Background", it is locked. If I double click on the layer, I get a panel to rename it and the name suggested is "Layer 0" (and not "Background").
Somehow, it seems that my plugin is not doing exactly the right thing or there is a setting in PS options (or in the registry) that controls/causes that behavior. My understanding is that we can't name layers from the plugin before version CS3 (setting the layerName field in the FormatRecord makes no difference for CS2 and before).
I do not care much about the actual layer name as long as that name is consistent for all installations. Does anybody know what is going on?

GilbertIf it has transparency, it has to be a layer ("Layer0").
If it doesn't have transparency, it is treated as a background.
And yes, changing the background to a layer does normally rename it to "layer X". -

There is a risk trying to migrate data directly into standard tables because this can generate database inconsistences or wrong inserted data according to what is customized in the target system. I do not recommend migrate like this.
With LSMW you use objects like direct input programs, idocs, bapis and recorded batch input. Try to create a project and use an standard object for your data. Also, check in SXDA transaction (Goto-->DX programs) if there is a standard program for your data.
