Table of Contents incorrect running times

I'm using Captivate 5 to create a module with slide video and lots of other video clips integrated into frames. The Table of Contents is providing inaccurate running time information about the slides. Much of the video seems not to be registering when it runs. Here's a link to an online preview version of the module.
http://www.paaap.org/headbumpsmatter/Headbumpsmatter.htm
Any way to correct this problem?
Dan
[email protected]

Yes, thanks for the clear description of my problem. Your description hints at the solution. I was able to get the Table of Contents to show the correct running times for the slide and the project by manually lengthening the slide running time to match the actual length of the slide. It didn't register correctly when I had a combination of slide audio (narration) and inserted video. The slide would play the audio and then the video as set up in the timeline for the slide but would only record the running time up until the video started. By adding up the the audio and video and them manually changing the length of the slide in the timeline, I got the TOC to show the correct times. Thanks for your help,

  • Business Content Activation - run time error

    Hi guys,
    We were at plugin 2002.1. We installed PI 2002.2 and PI 2003.1 on top of it.
    After the plug-in upgrade, we are at support pack 9 for SAP-BW and 13 for BI-Content. For aba and basis, we are at 620 and support pack 32.
    As part of the regression testing after the 2003.1 plugin upgrade, we found out that the business content activation abends with the following run time error.
    Runtime Errors         SAPSQL_ARRAY_INSERT_DUPREC
    Exception              CX_SY_OPEN_SQL_DB
    Looks like it is trying to insert into table RSOLTPSOURCEFIET and the row already is existing. I thought the activation process is supposed to update something if it is already out there.
    If we just select the 'only necessary', the activation goes through ok, but if we select 'before and after in the data flow', we get this abend.
    Any clues???
    Best regards,
    makaleem

    Hi Seow,
    This is how I resolved it. I looked at the ST22 closely and one of the messages indicated that the number range is missing in tran SNRO for an infoObject. I created an entry for that infoobject using SNRO and tried activation and it worked.
    When we created an OSS for SAP to look into it, they recommended the following two things. I tried these two but it did not work. I am mentioning them below just in case they may help you.
    1) Sometimes there is inconsistency in the content cache when trying to activate objects and we have to delete the repository cache. To delete the repository cache, go to RSA1 ---> Business Content -
    > Extras ---> Delete Rep Cache
    2) Execute SAP_DROP_TMPTABLES program for types 1,2,3 and 6.
    If this helps, don't forget to assign points.

  • How to change property file contents during run time?

    Hi everyone. First post so go easy on me please.
    I have a couple of properties that I want to read from a from a file. To achieve this I simply use:
    ResourceBundle.getBundle("my.package.MyItems").getString("MyProperty");
    This works like a wonder. The problem is, i want to change the property "MyProperty" during runtime. I've found the properties file (MyItems.properties) inside weblogic, but if a change its contents it does not reflect in the application.
    I can come up with a couple of justifications:
    * I'm not looking in the right folder/changing the wrong file in the server;
    * Weblogic caches the properties file, meaning that I have to redeploy the project (defeating the purpose of actually having a properties file).
    Can anyone help with this one?
    [EDIT] Forgot important info:
    * JDeveloper 11.1.1.4
    * Weblogic 11.3 (not 100% sure)
    * Both JDev and WebLogic running on Windows 7 64 bits
    Thank you in advance!

    JDeveloper 11.1.1.4, not 3

    I tried it all.
    Just an explanation of my context.
    I have 1 application with 2 projects in it. First project is called "CommonUI_ViewController" and the second one "FO_ViewController".
    The properties file I'm trying to change is located inside "CommonUI_ViewController", in package "PropertiesConfig" and the file is called "PhaseListener.properties".
    "FO_ViewController" is dependent on "CommonUI_ViewController". When I run "FO_ViewController" the integrated weblogic server log shows this (among other things):
    [10:25:55 AM] Wrote Web Application Module to D:\JDeveloper\dump\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23\o.j2ee\drs\SPV_BPM\FO_ViewControllerWebApp.war
    [10:25:57 AM] Wrote Web Application Module to D:\JDeveloper\dump\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23\o.j2ee\drs\SPV_BPM\CommonUI_ViewControllerWebApp.war
    Note: both lines above point to folders. "FO_ViewControllerWebApp.war" and "CommonUI_ViewControllerWebApp.war" are NOT war files, but folders that have that name.
    I tried changing the properties file in the following locations:
    * D:\JDeveloper\dump\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23\o.j2ee\drs\SPV_BPM\FO_ViewControllerWebApp.war\WEB-INF\lib\adflibSPVCommonUI.jar > PropertiesConfig\PhaseListener.properties;
    * D:\JDeveloper\dump\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23\o.j2ee\drs\SPV_BPM\CommonUI_ViewControllerWebApp.war\WEB-INF\lib\adflibSPVCommonUI.jar > PropertiesConfig\PhaseListener.properties;
    * D:\JDeveloper\dump\system11.1.1.4.37.59.23\o.j2ee\drs\SPV_BPM\CommonUI_ViewControllerWebApp.war\WEB-INF\classes\PropertiesConfig\PhaseListener.properties (no need to open any jar/war to get to this one).
    I changed all these files with different values but no change was shown in the application (using the method in the previous post).
    I believe that I'm still doing something wrong :/
    Thank you for your help so far vinod_t_krishnan!

  • A dynamic table based on run-time created view object -- please help!

    Hello!
    I'm trying to create a dynamic table based on an run-time created view object. All go ok, but table binding component take the first view/iterator state and don't reflect changes they have. Please, take a look:
    1. At run-time the view is being replaced by new red-only one based on query in application module:
    getQueryView().remove();
    createViewObjectFromQueryStmt("QueryView", statement);
    2. Page definition file contains an iterator (using iterator or methodIterator - doesn't matter) binding and table, which binds to the iterator, like:
    <methodIterator id="distributeQuery1Iter" Binds="distributeQuery1.result"
    DataControl="QueryServiceDataControl" RangeSize="10"/>
    <table id="distributeQuery11" IterBinding="distributeQuery1Iter"/>
    3. The page code uses <af:table>. But, if I use table binding (it's right) like this:
    <af:table var="row" value="#{bindings.distributeQuery11.collectionModel}">
    <af:forEach items="#{bindings.distributeQuery11.attributeDefs}" var="def">
    the table will never changed (i.e. still show the first view instance).
    When I tried to use iterator binding directly (it's bad and cannot provide all needed features unlike CollectionModel from table binding) I saw that table works!
    (Code is somehing like:
    <af:table var="row" value="#{bindings.myIterator.allRowsInRange}">
    <af:forEach items="#{bindings.myIterator.attributeDefs}" var="def">
    Why the table binding do not reflect changes in iterator? Or should I use different approach?
    Thanks in advance!
    Ilya.

    I got it to work! I used a hybrid approach comprised of some of your code and some of Steve Muench's AcceessAppModuleInBackingBean example.
    In the setBindings method, I execute an app module method that redefines the query, then I used your code to delete and recreate bindings and iterator:
    public void setBindingContainer(DCBindingContainer bc) {
    this.bindingContainer = bc;
    rebuildVO();
    The rebuildVO() method looks like the code you provided in your example:
    private void rebuildVO() {
    DCDataControl dc;
    DispatchAppModule dApp;
    DCBindingContainer bc;
    DCIteratorBinding it;
    OperationBinding operationBinding;
    ViewObject vo;
    DCControlBinding cb;
    try {
    bc = getBindingContainer();
    dc = bc.findDataControl(DATACONTROL);
    dApp = (DispatchAppModule)dc.getDataProvider();
    // Execute App Module Method to rebuild VO based upon new SQL Statement.
    dApp.setDispatchViewSQL();
    vo = dApp.findViewObject(DYNAMIC_VIEW_NAME);
    it = bc.findIteratorBinding(DYNAMIC_VO_ITER_NAME);
    it.bindRowSetIterator(vo, true);
    // logger.info("Remove value binding...");
    cb = bc.findCtrlBinding(DYNAMIC_VIEW_NAME);
    cb.getDCIteratorBinding().removeValueBinding(cb);
    bc.removeControlBinding(cb);
    // logger.info("Creating new value binding...");
    FacesCtrlRangeBinding dynamicRangeBinding =
    new FacesCtrlRangeBinding(null,
    bc.findIteratorBinding(DYNAMIC_VO_ITER_NAME), null);
    // logger.info("Add control binding...");
    bc.addControlBinding(DYNAMIC_VIEW_NAME, dynamicRangeBinding);
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    And my App Module method that redefines the view object looks like this:
    public void setDispatchViewSQL() {
    String SQL =
    "begin ? := PK_BUsiNESS.F_GETDISPATCHVIEWSQL();end;";
    CallableStatement st = null;
    String ViewSQL = null;
    try {
    st = getDBTransaction().createCallableStatement(SQL,
    DBTransaction.DEFAULT);
    * Register the first bind parameter as our return value of type LONGVARCHAR
    st.registerOutParameter(1, OracleTypes.LONGVARCHAR);
    st.execute();
    ViewSQL = ((OracleCallableStatement) st).getString(1);
    findViewObject(DYNAMIC_VO_NAME).remove();
    ViewObject vo = createViewObjectFromQueryStmt(DYNAMIC_VO_NAME, ViewSQL);
    vo.executeQuery();
    } catch (SQLException s) {
    throw new JboException(s);
    } finally {
    try {
    st.close();
    } catch (SQLException s) {
    s.printStackTrace();
    When I run it I get my desired results. One thing I don't quite understand is why when the page is first rendered it shows the last set of records rather than the first. Now I have to figure out how to put navigation URLS in each of the table cells.
    Thanks for your help; I would not have gotten this far without it,
    Jeff

  • Dynamic run-time objects in a query

    Hi everybody,
    I came across some docs that say this Dynamic SQL fails:
    CREATE PROCEDURE drop_table (table_name IN VARCHAR2) AS
    BEGIN
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE ’DROP TABLE :tab’ USING table_name;
    END;
    Can someone explain why can't an object name be provided through a bind variable?
    And the workaround, according to the docs is:
    CREATE PROCEDURE drop_table (table_name IN VARCHAR2) AS
    BEGIN
    EXECUTE IMMEDIATE ’DROP TABLE ’ || table_name;
    END;
    Can you clarify on this?
    Thanks.
    -- Kishore.

    Kishore:
    It is not really the compilier that has the problem, it is just telling you that your code will not run when you try to execute it. When you use bind variables, as in Case 1, Oracle does not "see" the value of the bind variable until it actually executes the statement (we'll ignore peeking in 9.2). So, if you issue something like:
    SELECT col
    FROM t
    WHERE id = :bvWhen Oracle parses the query, it will check to see that t exists, you can select from it, col exists in t, etc. Then, the optimizer will look at the WHERE clause and say "I've got an equality predicate, is there an index on id? If so, it will most likely choose an index based access plan. At this point, the optimizer has no idea what the value of bv is. Now, it will bind the value passed into the query and executes it.
    This can lead to bad plans if you have skewed data and no histograms what if id has only 2 distinct values 1 row with id 1 and 99,999 with id 2. If you pass 1 for id, then id is the proper access plan. However, if you pass 2 then a full table scan is much more appropriate.
    Now, think about the sequence of events when you try to bind the object name into DDL. What the database will see at run time from the execute immediate statement is:
    DROP TABLE :bv;The same things happen in the parse phase as in the SELECT. Oracle will check whether the table exists, that you have the required permissions to drop it, etc. But, which table does it check? Remember, at this point Oracle does not know what value is in the bind variable.
    In case 2, what the database will see as the sql statement when the procedure executes is:
    DROP TABLE t;Now, at run time, Oracle can do all the required parse time checking and execute the sql statement. The compiler recognizes that the string passed to execute immediate will be at least parsable by the database and allows the compilation to succeed.

  • IBooks Author table of contents does recognize paragraph styles

    The video
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n2p08-NmqfQ
    shows that using iBooks Author  I should be able to have text that is formatted with specific Paragraph Styles show automatically in the Table of Contents. But for me that does not work.  My version of ibooksAuthor is version 2.1.1 ( the latest) , under OS 10.9.1 (the latest) on an iMac.
    The video shows the Inspector for TOC as a separate window and shows explicitly, under Sections, the items Copyright, Dedication, Foreword, Section and Section Text. It also has two Paragraph styles listed, Heading 1 and Heading 2.
    This set of TOC entries is  available for me with templates from Landscape with Portrait but NOT with templates of Portrait. The templates available for Portrait do not  list, in the TOC Inspector, Heading 1 or Heading 2.
    Furthermore, the Portrait templates do NOT allow me to add any Paragraph style to the list (the control for adding Paragraph Styles to the list is grayed out), although the Landscape templates DO allow me to add any Paragraph style.
    However, when, with a Landscape template (e.g. Basic) I format text as one of the paragraph styles Header 1, Header 2, Chapter, Section, it does NOT automatically show up in the TOC, though if I add a new section it does automatically show up. The TOC only lists Chapter and Section if these have been added from the menu bar.
    When I use a Portrait template  (e.g. Basic or any other) and format text as one of the Paragraph Styles Chapter or Section that  text does not show up in the TOC. And the control for adding Paragraph Styles to the list is grayed out: I cannot add Header 1 or Header 2. The TOC only lists Chapter and Section if these have been added from the menu bar.
    No matter what template I use, if I assign a paragraph style to some text, it does not show up in the TOC. And with Portrait templates, which is what I want to use,  I cannot adde any paragraph styles to the TOC Inspector in Portrait templates.

    Example Below:
    Dim customerOrders As DataSet = New DataSet("CustomerOrders")
    Dim ordersTable As DataTable = customerOrders.Tables.Add("Orders")
    Dim pkOrderID As DataColumn = ordersTable.Columns.Add( _

    What I need help with - PLEASE is
    I already have a dataset named MyLearningDBDataSet.xsd in my Project
    I have a Table that was created as copy of a table, but was given a Different Name at run time
    How do I add this table to the Existing MyLearningDBDataSet.xsd....
    I need to be able to delete rows out of the New table that was created (that is why I make a copy of it)
    So Again : Please How do I add an Exisiting Table to an Exisiting Dataset?  Please help!  I have
    searched and searched.

    Let me ask you this then Mr. Paul.  Can you please show me how to create the dataset at run time, add a table to it, then put a binding navigator on the form that will be bound to it.  If that is not possible, then can you show me how to have a
    have a record (row) displayed in text boxes and then how I can navigate forward a record or back a record.  Ultimately that is what I need.
    I have everything working as is except for when I delete a row from the Table, since it is not part of the dataset (.xsd) then the BindingNavigator does not get the update, because the update is done to the table with the sql code.  I will paste my
    other post in here so you can get the big picture.
    I have a dataset that was created at design time
    but - after I run the app, it randomly creates a table based on The Users name
    since I do not know the users name before had, the table is not part of my existing dataset
    (I actually used an insert into sql nonquery to just make this table a copy of the masterUserTable)
    Now - I have a binding navigator on my form, that is originally bound to masterUserTable, but my goal is to
    make it bound to the users table (let's say GabrielUserTable)
    I thought I did so with this code:
            'TODO: This line of code loads data into the 'MyLearningDBDataSet.masterUserTable'
    table. You can move, or remove it, as needed.
            Me.MyMainDBTableAdapter.Fill(Me.MyLearningDBDataSet.masterUserTable)
            Dim ThisNewVariable As String = MyUserNameIs & "UserTable"
            Dim ThisNewTableName As New DataTable
            Me.MyLearningDBDataSet.masterUserTable.TableName = ThisNewVariable
            Me.MyMainDBTableAdapter.Fill(Me.MyLearningDBDataSet.masterUserTable)
    that appeared to do the trick  (but if it is incorrect please advice on the proper way to add a table
    made at runtime to a users existing datset)
    Else where in my code  I successfully execute the following NonQuery :
            SqlString= "DELETE FROM " & MyUserNameIs & "UserTable"
    & vbCrLf &
                "WHERE vState='" & txtStateInfo.Text & "';"
    I check in Visual Studio 2013 that the row was deleted from the "GabrielUserTable"  (Gabriel
    is the current value of MyUserNameIs) by using the Server Explorer and right clicking
    on the table and choosing show talbe data
    But the MyMainDBBindingNavigator is still showing the item I deleted.
    So after searching for answers - I created a new button for testing and added the following code to test if
    it would work
            Me.Validate()
            Me.MyMainDBBindingSource.EndEdit()
            Me.TableAdapterManager.UpdateAll(Me.MyLearningDBDataSet)
    but the data is still showing after deleting it with my NonQuery
    Again - please help!
    I have purchased over 4 books and none of them explain this 2 me.

  • HOW TO create a temp table or a record group at run time

    i have a a tabular form and i dont want to allow the user entering duplicate
    records while he is in insert mode and the inserted records are new and not exsisting in the database.
    so i want to know how to create a temp table or a record group at run time to hold the inserted valuse and compare if they are exsiting in previous rows or no.
    please help!

    As was stated above, there are better ways to do it. But if you still wish to create a temporary block to hold the inserted records, then you can do this:
    Create a non-database block with items that have the same data types as the database table. When the user creates a new record, insert the record in the non-database block. Then, before the commit, compare the records in the non-database block with those in the database block, one at a time, item by item. If the record is not a duplicate, copy the record to the database block. Commit the records, and delete the records in the non-database block.
