Hi All,
I am not an FI consultant. I have a doubt . I have maintained fixed price for a particular combination of cost center,acitivity type,version ,year and while saving it saved the document saying activity allocation document posted. I want to know if which table these values are stored. I would like to know the date also as to when the price is maintained..

If you want to know tables which are related to transaction.
Use recording through SHDB tcode.
go to shdb tcode
after enter name of your zname.
after for which transaction you are doing recording enter that tcode here migo.
after press start recording.
then enter data into fields after at last save and back.
then it goew to control recording session screen
after press program for create.
then enter attributes ,select source code after save your code.
Using this tables and which fieldsa you are using for perticular requirement.
this is an easy procedure to know tables and fields.
or
USE ST05 tcode by entering single filed into application.
These two approaches are usefull but go to first one if you knew which data you have to entered.
Otherwise go to st05.

- An EMPLOYEE is in one and only one DEPT
- a DEPT has several EMPLOYEEs
Suppose that:
- An EMPLOYEE come from one and only one SCHOOL which is in a SCHOOL table
- a SCHOOL have educated several EMPLOYEEs
Suppose that:
- A SCHOOL is part of one and only one SCHOOL_CATEGORY (Engineer school for example)
- A SCHOOL_CATEGORY concerns several SCHOOL
I would like to show a JSP page containing :
Employees for DEpt : 12456
table headers:
Employee ID | Employee Name | School Name | School Category Name
as you can see we have a master/detail between Master view DEPT and Detail view EMPLOYEE and EMPLOYEE is master for School which is detail view for employee and school category is detail view for school which is master for school category ! (do you follow me ? ;-))

I guess you are trying to achieve this using BC4J if so then you can modify your view object for employee so as to have School and category listed when you base your datatags on that view.
You would need to modify your view object query by using expert mode.

Very Important Scenario - Filling Tables with Data

For my current project, the custom (z) staged table will be filled every night with data, based on data and calculations on the previous day's material movements, for the company code selected on the selection screen (via a scheduled job that runs by using a variant.)
My question is this: Say the process is executed for one company code. Then an hour later , or at the same time, another process for a different company code is executed? What if the company code is entered twice?
What should i do in such situations? Where do the i fill the data for another company code? What if the company code is entered twice?
Points will be rewarded and all responses will be greatly appreciated.Do you want the duplicate company code to overwrite the first one? If you want to do that then just do a read on the table for the company code. If it exists (sy-subrc) then you can overwrite the data. If not then you could always use a timestamp and the company code as the key. That would allow for multiple records of the same company code.

Using Sequence with Data Warehouse Table
I am working on a Uni exercise on data warehousing and am trying to create and populate a table with a sequence on one database with data located on another database.
For this particular table, I have to reset the primary key (primary keys on operational table start from 4000). In my notes, I have been told to create a sequence first and use yoursequence.nextval in the sub query. I am not very experienced with using sequences and am not sure what a subquery is in relation to them.
I tried the following but it didn't work. Hopefully it will give you an idea as to what I am trying to achieve:
create table Region as select region_id_seq, Region_Name, Management_area, Country from dw_op.Sales_Region@q_link;

My instructions tell me to use the schema name along with the db link and it created the table correctly so I'll just have to keep my eye on it.
Do oyu know how I could use the function initcap to ensure all data is of the same format? I did a bit of research and found that I should be using column aliases which I duly tried but I received an error saying the following line needs a column alias:
initcap(s.region_name),

Then main pricing related tables are KONH header details, and KONP item details.
The other tables your have mentioned like A601,A609.............. all these are condition tables, which stored the values which you save for access sequence combination.
Eg : For condition type PR00, lets us assume one key combination customer/material, so these details will be saved in condition table which is initially generated with fields as a part of condition techinque.
So here the table would be A005 i guess or its A006.
So like wise there will be condition tables for each key combination.

The above code executes well with no problem at all!
As you can see the file to which i create and save and open my pdf report is
AssignedDialyzer.pdf.
The column headers of table in pdf report from c# windows forms using iTextSharp are
"Reprocessing Date","Patient Name","Dialyzer(Manufacturer,Size)","No.of Reuse","Verification" and
"DialyzerID".
However the problem i am facing is after execution and opening of document is my
column headers in table in pdf report from
c# and datas in it all appear in bold.
I have browsed through net regarding to solve this problem but with no success.
What i want is my pdf report from c# should be similar to following format which i was able to accomplish in vb6,adodb with MS access using iTextSharp.:

Can Not Remove "with" Data from Calendar Event Details
I currently have a Palm Tungsten|E2. For a short time I used to sync it with my work computer; this was before they replaced the computer (lease was up) with a new one where it was locked down and I could not reinstall the Palm desktop. Since then I have been syncing it with my home computer that runs MS Vista. Just recently I have noticed that when I create new Calendar events on my Palm, they all get a new "With:" data line (and a user from my old job) after sync'ing with my home computer. Selecting this "With:" entry brings me to a screen that allows me to select from a list of people I may "Done", "Reply", or "Reply All" to; although selecting either reply only causes a fatal error that requires a soft reset (button on back of machine). Looking at the event through the desktop software shows no data point so that it may be cleaned.
I would like to know why my desktop software is adding this person to a "With:" data point to all new entires I create on the Palm hardware, how do I turn it off and keep it from doing it in the future.

View Solution.Are you sync'ing the new device to the same username in Palm Desktop as an older device?
If you are, this will cause problems on the new device. When you sync the device, it saves the device settings, 3rd party apps, preferences, etc. in the backup folder in the username folder on the PC. When you sync the new device it copies the contents of the backup folder for the old device to the new device. This will cause corruption in the settings for the new device thus causing erratic behavior of the new device.
The best way to preserve your data is to export the data in each category in Palm Desktop to a seperate folder on your PC.
Create a new folder on your PC somewhere that is convenient. Name it something like Palm Desktop Data. Click on the link below and follow the instructions on that page for the export procedure.

Make sure you select all for the range in the export window.
With the data saved in the folder you created, make a copy of that folder and save to a flash drive, cd-rw or external hard drive.
Anytime you make a change in Palm Desktop, export the data that was changed to that folder and save again to the external media.
With this process you can always import the data back into Palm Desktop anytime you have a problem with the data in Palm Desktop or if your computer/hard drive/device crashes.
Looks like you may need to hard reset your device and rename your backup folder. Go to http://www.palm.com/cgi-bin/cso_kbURL.cgi?ID=887 and follow the directions to do a hard reset. Next before you hotsync your data back over you will need to rename your backup folder, to do that go here;

folder to backup.old
Then hotsync to your current hotsync name and all your contacts, calendar,

In my Oracle XE database this ran fine. But I am now running on an Oracle 9i Database, will this cause an issue with ADF?The error message you give has nothing to do with the database.. seems that something else has changed (assuming it used to work)

After making PGI we want to know the total sales price for that material. We want list of all details of price/value. Before making invoice we want to know the total price listing with sales order details.
We get this one by one with VF01 while making invoice only. But we want all list before Invoicing.

If you have table/index create commands (DDLs), you can create them in Developper and import data using one of methods below
Extract/ Load table
Insert location method : require IQ servers to be entered in interfaces file
Backup/Restore : copy entire database content
If you have not the DDLs, you can generate them using IQ cockpit or SCC.

How to create a table with data in it?
I need to have a temp table in a PL/SQL procedure for processing which can hold data values from two other tables and a sequence number.
Ex:
Existing tables:
table1 (col1 varchar2(100), col2 date, col3 number20) - Has more 1Lakh rows
table2 (col1 varchar2(100), col2 date) - Has more 900 rows
New table
temp_table (col1 PRY KEY(seq1.number), col2 varchar2(100), col3 date)
Currently i have created the temp_table and inserting all the data from both table1 & table2 (which is poor). Please suggest me a way to have the temp_table created with data(atleast from table1 which has more than 1Lakh rows). Please see i need a sequence number as well.

It is just necessary overhead. Please explain why you (apparently) believe that the suggestion of a view will not meet your requirements. -
Work with data from a table of another SAP R/3 system

I want to work with data from a table of another system. I know there's a function called 'RFC_READ_TABLE' but I don't know really how it works. What I want to do is to get data from that system and pass it to the one where I'm working in order I can continue working with this data in the report.
Besides, I'd like to select only the records that have some conditions.
I'd appreciate if someone could tell how to do it, whether with FM 'RFC_READ_TABLE' or in another way.

P.S: The systems are already connected in SM59Yes, you can use RFC_read_table .You can pass the number of columns but I recommend you to bring all results in your internal table after that you can filter the records. Most of the time I have notice when you make RFC call with this FM to another system it works but it may also happen that other system controlling authorization and then it might give you nothing. As I face this problem on my last Project.
