Table RSBASIDOC shows idoc inactive

Hello
We are trying to test whether the RFC settings in the R3 and BW system are correct - however when we check the Table RSBASIDOC - the corresponding entry indicates the basic type for RSSEND to be inactive - INA
R31 BW1 INA ZSWD050 WD 3 46C ALEBATCH 20.050.708.182.631 30C 310
Also , if i would like to connect to a new system ( lets say R31 to BW2) how do i ensure that an appripriate entry is setup here.

Is any system refresh happened in ur R/3 system. some times because of system refresh RFC may get damage.
For that you have to delete the entries in RSBASIDOC table and restore the source system connection in RSA1 by making both the systems editable.
once you restore the source system connection, revoke the settings that you made in both the systems.

What table/fields show if a PO Item has a G/R Expected?

Hi experts,
I am coding a program in SRM, but not sure I'll find these answers there, so I'm likely going to do a RFC to ECC and get the values, but need to know how to identify.
In ECC:
(1) What table/field shows if a PO item has a G/R expected?
(2) Where can I find if the PO item has any open receipts?
(3) Where can I find the amount remaining to be invoiced on a PO item?

I think EKPO-WEPOS = 'X' mentions that it is expecting G/R..Please see the data element WEPOS documentation for details...

For 2) and 3) You can check the table EKBE...in that you can use the field VGABE to different between invoice receipt and goods receipt..

FBL5N t code and BSEG table is showing wrong contract number

Hi,
The proces flow is contract number>sales order>DMR-->Invoice
Now when I am checking the VBFA table it's showing correct contract number against invoices but FBL5N t code and BSEG table are showing wrong contract numbers.
Why FBL5N and BSEG table is showing wrong contract number?
Currently we are using one enhancement and user exit is used to incorporate one customized field as identifier for bill type.
1. During the billing document release to accounting VFX3, The user exit triggering and it is update the customized fields and Net settlement indicator.
2. Using the Invoice number, get the fields VGBEL(Document number of the reference document) and VGPOS (Item number of the reference item) from VBRP and read table VBAP with VBELN and POSNR, to get DMR number (Sales Document) that created for the Invoice.
3. Use fields VGBEL and VGPOS on table VBAP to get the sale order number.
4. By using the Sales order number, get the Distribution channel to update Net indicator field
In accounting table BSEG-UZAWE = JF must be updated on the customer line.
5. Retrieve the sale order number and item level to get customized field from table VBAP
Any pointers.

I am concercerned about BSEG table and using user exit EXIT_SAPLV60B_008 to post the document in FI.
Now in we have enhanced this user exit for contracts and included in this way.
SELECT SINGLE ZZ_CONTRACT FROM VBAK INTO (LC_CONTRACT) WHERE VBELN EQ cvbrp-vgbel.
Endloop.
*Moving the values to final accounting table
loop at xaccit.
xaccit-vertn = lc_contract.

MODIFY xaccit .

Clear: lc_contract,lc_vgbel,lc_vgpos,lc_vbel2.
But I am getting correct data when checked other clients( development and quality), this problem I am getting in production.
Do I need to ask the ABAP'er to debug this enhancement in production?

Error while trying to view the details table from Show/Hide icon

What we are having is two tables, Outer and Inner, having Outer VO and Inner VO,outer VO is linked with inner VO. Now when I am trying to view the inner table
through Show/Hide icon to see the details of the table ,I am getting an error like ...

We are not getting error while searching. As said earlier
While search for the first time > We could see proper results in out table and Even show/hide is working fine and display correct data in Inner table
When searching for the second time with different criteria > We could see proper results in outer table and on clicking show/hide (to view inner table data), we are getting error.
The record with primary key values {2280} could not be found in view object AM.ViewLinkVL_InnerTableVO
From the error message, we found that its trying to get the row (of inner table) pertaining to first search results and not for the outer table row in context to second search results.

How to count records from 2 tables and show in RDLC Report

How to pass the contents of an internal table to the IDoc FIDCC2?

Tables not showing as desired

Having a tables issue:
As one can see from the screen grabs, the table view shows the floral graphic coming right under the text....just over to the side. However, in the Live View, the floral is quite a bit further down the page.

As far as knowing how to do it, have coded all the tables Cells 'top'. Please enlighten me if you have any clues how to make the live view, and the view in all browsers, like the top view below, meaning floral is up further.

I'm not a fan of table based layouts. CSS is so much more efficient. Tables are for displaying tabular data like spreadsheets & charts.
If you use CSS for layouts, you can position your background image with CSS.

WD ABAP: Reset Table To Show the First Record.

Hi WebDynpro ABAP Experts,
Settings of tables allow me to display set of 10 records at a time. If i want to select , say 18th record I use paginator to select & use it. i navigate to next view , do some processing here. When I come back to the previous view, i see that table is still showing the 18th Records. How can i make this TABLE to show the first 10 records again & we want to achieve this without going back to DB.
or in other words we want to call the "FIRST ROW" functionality of Paginator that JUMPS to display the first Ten Row.

If you used supply function for filling the data to the table means you can use the Invalidate method.
Before leaving the first view you can call the invalidate method. The invalidate method again calls the supply function and your node as well as table getting refreshed.
Code for Invalidation :
node_node1 = wd_context->get_child_node( name = 'NODE1' ).
elem_node1 = node_node1->get_element( ).
node_node1->invalidate( ).

Table Borders Showing?

My clients says the tables are showing blue borders. I don't
see them in my browser (Firefox).
All table elements are set to '0" (border, cell space, cell
pad) and to default color which is no color.

Condition is showing as "Inactive via formulae of incorrect"

Hi Friends,
There are 3 condition types with condition class B are existing in my PP. 1 cond typ is statical, another one is manual and the 3rd one is automatic through ALTCTYP formula.
during sales order all three condition types are showing as "Inactive via formulae of incorrect". can any one give a clue why they are inactive and not detetrmined in order.

- Have you went to Settings>Store and signed out and then signed back in?
- Did you by chance create a new account? Apps are locked to the account that purchased them and you have to sign into that account to update apps purchased with that account.

Database error changing table ADR2 - Inbound IDOC Create Order

Hi experts,
I have a backgroud job for program RBDAPP01 to process inbound IDOC message type OILLDD. It woked perfectly for years. Few days ago, the job got short dump and cancelled. In Error log, it shows error MESSAGE_TYPE_X Database error changing table ADR2 in function module ADDR_SAVE_INTERN.
I already try to activate trace log to see sql statement but still couldn't find anything suspicious. Have anyone been through this problem before? Please suggest.

Table not showing data after refresh

Hi gurus ,
A unique problem We have added a field in the custom table . once moved to quality system it is not showing up the data whwn when we do a select query on that table in se16 . say total entries are ten thousand four of them are checked and when display not checked i.e eq space we get just 100 entries on number of entries ..i asked to regenerate the table in quality system but it did not help .The Quality system was refresh 1 month ago and we see it not working after it ..please suggest the correct steps we need to perform to recover the data . Adjust database with keep data has already been done ...

If I understand well, your issue is that you have a SELECT in your program, saying newfield is your newfield, something like:
SELECT ... FROM ztable INTO ... WHERE newfield = space.
and it doesn't return the records that existed in quality before newfield was added.
It it because, by default, when you add a field to an existing database table, with records already present, they are assigned the NULL value, which is different from space.
They can be retrieved using WHERE newfield IS NULL.
Usually, to avoid this issue, when we add a new field, we tick the "no null value" checkbox for this new field, in SE11 transaction. That will initialize the field of existing records, to the initial value (space for characters, 0 for numeric fields, etc.) Note: maybe it can be counter performant for big tables...
Solution for your issue, run this code once:
UPDATE ztable SET newfield = space WHERE newfield IS NULL.

Can you help me if is possible to create a pivottable binding to a one ViewObject and in code show/hide or compose the layout of the pivottable ??
I search in google and OTN oracle and not find any code.
Only find the code of the samples that is very complex for me , the code of the samples create the PivotTableModel from one Array , and i want to binding from one ADB BC ViewObject.

The solution I presented for your use case an DOAG 2013 was to create a pivot table binding out of user defined attributes from the table. For the defined attributes a VO is dynamically created as well as the pivot binding. The pivot binding is then exchanged at runtime together with the activation of the dynamic VO needed to only get the data needed for the particularly pivot table.
Your solution using the CubicEditor is hard to implement due to the missing documentation. This was the reason I did not follow this approach, However it's not impossible (done it on a very small scale).
None of the solution are what I call simple. They are complicated, complex and in part not supported solution (exchanging the pivot table binding at runtime need to use internal classes, which is not supported).
I can't give you a working sample as it's too complex. I can make the slides available, however they are in German.
