Table SelectionModel with Forte

Is there a way to set the SelectionModel in Sun's Forte 4 ?
I use this code by interting it with Post-Init Option.
datesTable.getSelectionModel().setSelectionModeListSelectionModel.SINGLE_SELECTION);
The problem is, if you change the name of the table the code
will hold the old name. That happens when you use the
post code generation options.

I have updated the original post with the link to CONNECT. So feel free to upvote ;-). As you will see, it is definitively a bug in the generated deployment script. It's a pity because all the functionality around in SSDT to handle development databases
is splendid work.
The Workaround is also sketched as a little sample in the CONNECT post. Just to assisted the developers. Here is that sketch. To try it simple use a different CLR-UDT which user defined serialization.
Thanks for the pointer to open source samples. I'll give it a try.

I want to delete the row after the display of table control. I have created push button as delete row. If I click on this push button, the selected row should get deleted.
I have written this code,
module USER_COMMAND_9000 input.
DATA OK_CODE TYPE SY-UCOMM.
OK_CODE = SY-UCOMM.
CASE OK_CODE.
     WHEN 'DELETE'.
        LOOP AT lt_source INTO ls_source WHERE mark = 'X'.

But I'm unable to delete the selected rows, It is getting deleted the last rows eventhough I select the other row.
So I thought of doing with respect to the field.

Multi-table INSERT with PARALLEL hint on 2 node RAC

Multi-table INSERT statement with parallelism set to 5, works fine and spawns multiple parallel
servers to execute. Its just that it sticks on to only one instance of a 2 node RAC. The code I
used is what is given below.

create table t2 ( x int );
insert /*+ APPEND parallel(t1,5) parallel (t2,5) */
when (dummy='X') then into t1(x) values (y)
when (dummy='Y') then into t2(x) values (y)

I can see multiple sessions using the below query, but on only one instance only. This happens not
only for the above statement but also for a statement where real time table(as in table with more
than 20 million records) are used.

Move Table Column with AppleScript in Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word has a flaw (in my opinion) with tables in that it aligns the left and right text with the margins rather than aligning the table columns with the margins. This results in sloppy tables, because the left and right borderlines lie outside the margins.
I would like to fix the word tables by
calculating the left cell padding and right cell padding in points and setting them to variables {left_pad,right_pad} respectively
move left column by left_pad to the right
move right column by right_pad to the left
The script I was working on does not work, but I will post it to show my thought process as I hone in on my solution.

Hiding Table Columns with the Spry Element Selector

I am trying to set up a toggle button that will show/hide
rows >1 when clicked. I've used Adobe's
"Hiding
Table Columns with the Spry Element Selector" example and it
worked fine with an HTML list, until I linked to actual XML data.
Now it works in reverse. What gives?

What I understood from your coding is...
* navigate from <CONTEXT> to <NODE_FLIGHT> via lead selection
Node_Node_Flight = wd_Context->get_Child_Node( Name = IF_VIEW1=>wdctx_Node_Flight ).
You are reading values from the above node and binding the values to the same node.Am i right?
Did you take seperate context node for your input fields or binded the above context to the fields.If not then read the context attribute values which are binded to the carrid and connid then pass these values to select query.
One more thing is select cardinality 1..n for node NODE_FLIGHT since you are displaying more than one record.
Go through the some basic tutorials.Search in sdn you will it get.Already there is a tutorial in sdn which explains exactly what do you require.

BDC: How to enter data in Table control (With wizard) using scrolling?

Using BDC, I am trying to enter the data in the table control (with wizard).
I want to know what is the specific command to scroll down in table control (With Wizard).
While recording I am getting these steps:

When I use above command and run BDC, it does not scroll.

How to Populate a Dropdown field for a table control with different keys

I have Table control with abt eight columns (fields). Out of these eight field one field is with dropdown list. In table control Project ID is Primary key column. Depending upon this Project ID value, i have different values which is to be populated in dropdown boxes. In table control if there is only one project ID value say 'P000715' i can populate it but when i have more than one project ID (P000715, p000716, P000717.....) in display in rows of table control i want to have different values in my dropdown field corresponding to that row of project id. Experts please tell me how to achieve this functionality.

The only way you may be able to do this is using
MODULE PROCESS ON VALUE-REQUEST. User-programmer F4 help
in your PAI routine.
In this routine you would build the list and get the returned value to update the field.
Something like this.

each other.. To use Forte messaging the environments have to be connected,
identical Forte versions, probably identical versions of all objects
involved (rather than just correct IDL), etc. I've toyed with this as well
for a client with two major Forte application development efforts occurring
in completely different business units.

Applying table scroll bar for only table rows with table columns fixed.

hi oa gurus,
i had implemented table scroll bars using oarawtextbean , there is no problem in vertical and horizontal scroll bar working its working fine. but the requirement is i need to scroll only the table rows with table columns fixed. so , how to achieve the table scroll for only table datas neglecting table headers.
the code for vertical and horizontal bars scroll is like this,

Thnx a lot for the reply. This has almost solved my problem, however there's one thing left. when I'm trying to take a print out after exporting the info into an excel sheet, the information really looks scattered, i.e., is there a way where we can go ahead and get the info in a rather unscattered manner.
I've tried to take a print directly without actually transferring the info into an excel sheet, then each of the vendor is printed in a separate page, which again they feel is a problem.
So, if you have an idea pls suggest.

How to interface a windows DLL with Forte application?

I want to use crystal report engine for generating reports from Forte
application on NT client, which requires interfacing crpe32.dll(report
engine DLL) with Forte. Can somebody help me out with a sample c project
(Forte project) either for crpe32.dll or any other DLL.
What are the requirement for for interfacing a DLL library with Forte

You can make an empty server only with tpsvrinit that starts your client
listeners and a tpsrvdone that stops them. Be carefull with sharing ipcs

Another choice can be builting a custom WSL/WSH but I haven't done

Table Controller With 1:N Relationship

I'm looking at implementing a table controller with a 1:N relationship as per the following blog post: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/azuremobile/archive/2014/06/18/insert-update-related-data-with-1-n-relationship-using-net-backend-azure-mobile-services.aspx
However, when I run the sample solution given, an exception is thrown when I call the following controller method:
public SingleResult<TodoItemDTO> GetTodoItem(string id)
return Lookup(id);
The exception thrown:
The LINQ expression node type 'Invoke' is not supported in LINQ to Entities.

As per you requirement, it seems like a Field in main table is look up to Flat table which contains Two fields say Field A and Field B both as display fields. Field A has two values 100 and 200 only and Field B has six values P, Q, R, X, Y, Z.
You want whenever you select Field A as 100 then only P, Q, R comes.
I firmly believe that this is not achievable as per MDM capability using Fields. But you can run Validations to cross check that if it is 100 then correspondingly value of Field B should be from P, Q and R only. IIy, for 200 it should be from X, Y and Z.
Alternatively, I can suggest you to go for Taxonomy. Create 2 categories say category name Field100 and Field200.
Field100 category is linked with attribute 100 which has values P, Q and R.
Field200 category is linked with attribute 200 which has values X, Y and Z.
So whenever you select category Field100 associated linked attribute 100 will come and whose values can be populated using P, Q and R only.
lly, when you select category Field200 associated linked attribute 200 will come and can be populated using X,Y and Z only. Whenever for a record in main table you select this category field as Field100 and Field200 correspondingly linked Attribute comes with Predefined set of legal values.

Unique file name to be decoded and to be updated in a table along with data

I'm working on a File to Proxy scenario, where the file names(10 chars length) are unique. These files will be available for XI in a source directory. My requirement is -- file name need to be decoded into 3 values and to be updated into a r/3 database table along with the file data.

You cannot see the field which stores the file name. The file name comes from payload at runtime.
Secondly no need to create any input parametes in your UDF, just edit your udf and delete the input parameter (default input is 'a') so that you don't have to map any constant to this UDF just map this UDF to target field.
e.g. UDF ---> target Field.
I did the same but am not able to activate the mapping.
