Tablet previously rejected for TradeIn Offer

Hi Best Buy CS Team,
on the previous TradeIn Program I was wrongfully denied at Bust Buy Store 808 because my Tablet was not in the Best Buy Database when the language of the offer clearly stated "any working tablet". I tried to do the trade in on the last day of the offer which was on an Sunday so I didn't have any corporate recourse.  
Can you please inform the staff and Manager at

of the proper policy regarding this new trade in as I don't want to have another wasted and frustrating drive to that store.
Just so you know: that previous fiasco prevented me from spending $$$ to purchase the Surface Pro and Best Buy is losing out on many sales if they continue to not honor the terms of the promotions.

From my understanding, our Galaxy Tab A trade-in promotion is very similar to the offers we’ve provided in the past in that a tablet outside of our trade-in system may still be accepted as a viable device with the condition that it meets all other terms and conditions stipulated in the offer. If this was the only reason you were denied, it’s regrettable to hear our store associates were unaware of this possibility, and I’m sorry for any frustration this reported denial may have caused you.
In order for me to assess the situation at hand, I do require some additional information about your past store experience.
1)      What tablet did you attempt to turn in under this trade in offer?
2)      Does this tablet have any accidental damage (i.e.: cracked screen, water damage)?
3)      Do you recall the name of the associate or manager who was helping you in the store?
Once I have this information, I’ll be happy to reach out to our Boynton Beach store to provide them some clarifying information surrounding this particular offer to ensure we aren’t incorrectly denying our customers the promotion, along with contact some of our internal contacts for further assistance.

    I had exactly the same experence with the same BB store (498-Bellevue, WA).  On Monday 5/4/2015, I tried to trade in a fully working (no damage) Hisense Sero 7 LT tablet for the on-going Samsung Galaxy Tab A trade-in offer.  Was refused for the reason "this tablet cannot be found in BestBuy's database".  I pointed out the offer would apply to "any working tablet", but was given the answer "Not all products are eligible".
    Time and efforts wasted, I was deeply frustrated with the situation (i.e. random interpretation of the confusing terms and conditions for the offer).  Would you please kindly clarify whether working tablets NOT in BestBuy's database would qualify for this trade-in offer?  If the answer is yes, would you please be so kind to contact the manager of Best Buy store #498 to rectify the situation, as obviously the store has been repeatedly rejecting eligible trade-in tablets on the basis of "not found in database".  Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum! With such an exciting device being released, I can understand why you would want to participate in this trade-in offer. I'm sorry to  hear you had a very similar experience as another customer here on the forum, even at the same store!
    As it is my understanding that the Samsung Galaxy Tab A trade-in offer works similarly to our previous trade-in offers, we should have alternative methods of processing such a trade-in under this offer for tablets not found in our system. Please know that I've already reached out to the Bellevue, WA store regarding this offer to provide further clarification. I would encourage you return to the store with a qualifying tablet to participate in this offer, and request assistance from a manager.     Hi I have a proscan tablet model plt4311. Is it applicable for trade in or not. The store at best buy waterfront Pittsburgh says they cannot accept it. As far as I know the best buy policy says any working tablet will work. Please reply

  • Retrieve an App previously paid for

    Hello,
    I have 1 Iphone and an account with Apple. I have considered purchasing more software and hardware from you product range as I like what you offer. How ever since owning the Iphone and purchasing one software purchase as an experiment I do not feel like I would like to continue using your products. Why do I feel this way:
    1) Today I rang your Australian office 133 622, to ask how I could retrieve the previous paid game (ATC 4). Whilst on the phone waiting in the que I was disconnected without warning. i rerang the number and went through the menu again and waited about a minute before being disconnected again. You may tell me that the system is disconnecting me due to an overload in your system but from my perspective its about customer service. I am sure you understand!
    2) When I purchased the game (ATC 4) from apple store it functioned well and was enjoyable but unfortunately my iphone had to be reset due to some software update issues at the time (Which I also had to ring Apple about). After the iphone reset there was no facility that I was aware of at the time which allowed me to reinstall my paid version of the game. Today I see that there is a way to retrieve software from 18 months of purchase. My complaints also extend to the software being able to be retrieved at anytime during my account activation. I paid for it and it should be available otherwise why would I want to do it again?
    The reason for my complaint today is to let you know the above but also to tell you that because of this lack of service, and lack of paid software previously paid for, it gives me no confidence to purchase more software ie TomTom apps etc for the Iphone or any other hardware and software using this surrent system because if I have a further reset of my iphone etc there is no guarantee I can recover what I paid for.
    I would appreciate a reply when you are ready, thank you.

  • Updates for previously paid for apps that address stability issues, bug fixes, other improvements that a customer is entitled to

    Why is the policy of Apple to prohibit customers from downloading FREE updates for previously paid for apps that address stability issues, bug fixes and other improvements that a customer is entitled to because the customer does not currently have a credit card on file that they can verify has an available balance??? I can understand it even for free apps or apps on sale or because most of those apps depend on in-app purchases but COME ON. Where is the ethics in that policy? Where is the consumer protection? Especially considering the ONLY marketplace to receive these third party products is through apple. INSANE.
    Wasted another 3 or 4 hours today trying to find a solution. I am unable to provide alternative payment method and money is tight for next 2 weeks but this is temporary. It's not as if I will never be purchasing more apps and apple products in the future. I have been a loyal apple customer since the days when Power!ac 9500 retailed for $8,000.00. Another words for a very long time.
    Anyone else find this to be a legitimate issue?

    I am all for any instance where I am asked to verify my account or Apple ID. The issue is that I am being denied delivery of a beneficial update of a premium, already paid for app... Because I am (at the moment) maxxed out with my credit card I have associated with my Apple ID.
    There are four different (full version) paid for apps that just all released major updates.  The third party developers offer the updates for free to customers who have purchased the full version of the app and the update includes stability improvements, iOS 7 comparability, bug fixes and expanded functionality.
    These are not apps that, in total, cost over $100... And that I use every day.
    Never had an issue with being required to verify my account or Apple ID.

    One of our iPad apps built using DPS Viewer Builder (Version 2.1.130) has been rejected for failing to purchase a subscription successfully. I've submitted a sprint 20 and sprint 21 viewer, and both have apparently exhibited this bug and been subsequently rejected. See Apple's reason (identical for r20 and r21 viewers):

    We found that your app exhibited one or more bugs, when reviewed on iPad (3rd Gen) running iOS 5.1.1, on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, which is not in compliance with the App Store Review Guidelines.
    When the user attempts to purchase a subscription, an activity indicator is displayed indefinitely and the subscription is not purchased. If the user quits the app and restarts, a blank screen is displayed in the storefront and the app freezes.
    So far I have not been able to reproduce this bug. On my developer and adhoc builds, subscriptions purchase successfully each time. Obviously storefront issue (we have a custom html store) is ours to debug but I need to reproduce this subscription error in order to do so.
    Has anyone else seen this issue? If so, do you have a more specific and reliable reproduction sequence to get it to happen?

    Do you have renditions in place for your folio? If so, please make sure the folio title, productID, and publication date are exactly the same. For the publication date, you need to set it manually to ensure that the timestamp is precisely the same as your other rendition files.

        I am giving reason for rejection for a line item where there is already sale order stock. Then I am getting a warning message like " there is sale order stock assigned". I want this message to be as error message. Any customisation (SPRO) is there for this?

    I think, there is no problem you can ignore the warning message and go ahead give reason of rejection and close the order
    There wont be any problem absolutely
    The reason  of warning message is, (it is sales order created with item category with special stock indicator as E )  that means the system tells you that it is extra special stock which you have created and now you are trying to reject hence it alerts you by giving a warning  message
    The item category of the items which you are trying to reject  is marked  or should have been marked with special stock indicator (you can check that in VOV7)
    By double clicking warning message if it is of V4 message class in t code OVAH you can make that as no message
    But i doubt that this is available in OVAH

But no amount of pasting, dragging, etc can get them to open up in Numbers. My "real" folder has almost 100 addresses so I can't do it one by one.

    You can place contacts in a table In Numbers by the following methods:
    Numbers 2.3:
    drag from contacts
    Numbers 3.2
    copy from contacts, then paste into Numbers
    In both cases you need to open System preferences, then select the "Security & Privacy panel and allow Numbers aaccess your contacts information.

    Now Generally what we are doing is Just changing the qnty in sales order change mode VA02 --100
    But some times they have so many open line items are there and not possible to change in all line items exact number
    So now i trying to give reason for rejection Line item For full 150 qnty Because Automatically 50 qnty Will be reduced in MD04
    But when i am Giving reason For rejection To line item system is giving error msg that subsequent document is being processed
    So any Enhancement shall we do To skip this

    I have a set up a single tenant in my Azure portal, and added three domains.   Although two verify okay, for one domain I get an error:
    Could not verify this domain because it was previously configured for your tenant or for another tenant.
    Research on this matter usually indicates a tenant clash with Office 365, but we don't use  that service, nor can we access it using our normal credentials.
    The only other place that this domain is utilised, in with Azure web site hosting.  In my portal I see our company web site and the domain is used there to host our site.
    Would this cause the clash?  If not, can anyone interrogate the back-end of Azure to tell me where the clash is occurring?
    I have also amended the MX/TXT records to no avail.

    I just wanted to close this thread off now that the issue is has been resolved offline. the domain was verified against another directory. you had access to that directory as an admin but this account was an MSA. You didn't have any ability to login to manage.windowsazure.com
    with that MSA because you had cancelled your subscriptions, which is why you were unable to access the directory. 
    We added your MSA to a Azure Subscription so that you could login to the management portal. and then you were able to remove the domain from the directory and proceed! :-)

    So how to make it in change mode so that i can put reasonf for rejcetion.

    Hi Ashis,
                      Why you want to set the reason for rejection for already rejected item. Is the Document still in Being processed sate even after billing and delivery? If it is then check the completion rule in the Item category deinition. If the Table has not got update then you can run the report "SDVBUK00" to make the document complete. Please not that this works only if the status in the data base is complete. Other wise If you want to set the reason for rejection for the items that have the completed status , you have to cancel the Inovice and reverse the goods Inssue(VL09) and then set the reason for rejection. Kindly please let me know If you need any more information on this.

    I dont think, with this selection, there is a report in standard.  However, go to SE16, input table VBAP and select the Field name ABGRU and input your reason and execute.
    However, if you are so particular about sales organization, then you have to run SQVI and table join VBAK and VBAP.

    According to the error message, please use performance monitor to diagnose if it is a memory-related bottleneck and you can use the counters of the memory part in the article below:

    In addition, it may be due to thousands of open connections to the server are in a TIME_WAIT state. You can run "netstat -an" command on the affected server and client. If you see mutiple connections in the TIME_WAIT state, you can follow the article
