Target fieldpoint connection failed due to version conflicts

I have set up a small network of fieldpoint (fp-2015) and laptop with Ethernet. Then, I have succesfully configured this fp with MAX and downloaded the iak file to it. Now, I want to target the labview RT of this fp. However, the the connection failed with following message "Version Conflicts between host labview and RT Engine". I'm using Labview 7.1 released in August.

It sounds like the FP-2015 that you have has an older version of software on it (probably LabVIEW 7.0). To upgrade the software on the FP-2015, first launch Measurement & Automation Explorer. Locate the FP-2015 under Remote Systems. Right click on the software item and select Install Software. This will allow you to install the new software image and upgrade the controller to LabVIEW 7.1. Note: You will need FieldPoint Explorer 4.1 which shipped with LabVIEW 7.1. If you have an older version of FieldPoint Explorer, it will not have the 7.1 image for the FieldPoint controller.

    COULD SOMEONE GIVE ME A SOLUTION TO OVERCOME THIS.
    YOUR SOLUTION AND GREATELY APPRITIATED.
    REGARDS,
    DHANANJAY

    Hi Dhanajay,
    Firstly check if R3trans -d is working fine.
    If so, please chek if the following parameters are set properly.
    DIR_LIBRARY=/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run
    TRANSDIR = ....\trans
    <SID>/DBHOST = <HOSTNAME>
    <SID>/DBNAME = <SID>
    <SID>/DBTYPE = ora
    Execute the below command and check the transport profile:
    tp check all pf=/usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_DOMAIN_<SID>.PFL
    Please confirm the permission of the /oracle/ directory
    The permission of the /oracle should be 755.
    Also check if the import queue is not locked.
    Also please ensure the Kernel is of latest version, if not, please update the DBSL shared library.Please look at the note 19466.
    Finally you can try once distributing and activating the transport routes once.
    When you executed command R3trans -d logfile trans.log will be created.
    Please check this file for exact error information.
    Paste the log file here.
    Let us know the outcome.
    Regards,
    Sujit.

  • Connect failed due to dbsl

    Hi gurus,
    We are upgrading the test server.we face a problem.the error message is "connect failed due to dbsl load lib failure".
    "cannot find the dll dboraslib.dll in path"
    But dboraslib.dll in the Dir_executable path.
    Please provide the solution.
    regards
    gunamoorthy d

    you must check the system path or user path, not dir_executable.
    try this:
    start -> Run
    CMD
    set
    you will see a list of parameters, check the values for PATH. you must have an entry equivalent to your dir_executable. if not, do this:
    right click on MY COMPUTER
    choose PROPERTIES
    click on ADVANCED tab
    click on button ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE
    change PATH to add the needed path.
    once this is completed, you will need to restart SAP services and close down all command prompts... then try again.

    Hi ,
    Thanks for all
    Issue is resolved by myself.
    Instead of update Kernel to 640 , I have downloaded latest 620 kernel patch on IA 64 .
    Since my production server is running on x86 and 620 kernel , i have downloaded 620 kernel for IA 64 .
    That resolved my issue.

    @Xi0N
    With spl{,-utils} and zfs{,-utils}, upgrading leads to circular dependencies.  This can be worked around by always building the packages in a chroot, but it is a bit more work than a normal module add on from the AUR.
    But while demizer's repo is super duper convenient, he is human and doesn't always get to updating the packages as soon as the new kernel drops to [core].  So from time to time, you will have to patiently wait for the unofficial repo to be updated before you can update the linux package.  That said, I am pretty sure he versions the dependency on the linux package, so I don't think that you can install the new linux package and then end up with a non-working filesystem.  Rather, the attempt to upgrade the linux package will fail due to unmet dependencies.
    Edit: As a disclaimer, it has been a while since I have played with zfs.  So while I think this information is accurate, things may or may not have changed.

    Thanks In Advance,

    This is basically not a RMAN problem,but a media management issue,which has to be addressed to the TSM staff:
    ANS1314E
    File data currently unavailable on server
    Explanation:
    The file data is currently unavailable on the server. A retrieve or restore operation was attempted. Possible causes are:
    Data was corrupted at the server
    Server found a read error
    File is temporarily involved in a reclaim operation at the server
    Server requested a tape volume that was marked unavailable.
    System action:
    Processing stopped.
    User response:
    Retry the operation. If the problem continues, see your system administrator to determine the problem from the server console or the activity log. Check whether any requests were made for a tape volume that was unavailable. A tape volume may be marked unavailable if prior read errors were encountered or the volume is checked out of the tape library.

    In FF 37.0 getting secure connection failed connecting to a website. Works fine in previous version. Config parameter version.fallback-limit default setting is 3. In previous version the default setting was 1. Does the setting version.fallback-limit to 3 mean only TLS1.2 is supported. Any help is appreciated.

    The connection to xxxx.xxx.com was interrupted while the page was loading.
    The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
    Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.
    Thx,

    The website may try to fallback to TLS 1.0 in a way that is no longer allowed in current releases or may be using a deprecated cipher suite.
    You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location/address bar and use its search bar to locate this pref:
    *security.tls.insecure_fallback_hosts
    You can double-click the line to modify the pref and add the domain (full domain) to this pref.
    If there are already websites (domains) in this list then add a comma and the new domain (no spaces).
    You should only see domains separated by a comma in the value column.

  • FDQM Target Dimension - connection failed

    Hi, I am getting started to FDQM and I am trying to prepare the new environment so I started with the workbench and finished these steps:-
    1) Imported the Essbase adapter (ES11XG4-J) to the application then registered it successfully.
    2) Edited the two environment variables "ESSBASEPATH" and "PATH" with the right variables specified in oracle docs.
    3) Opened the configurations of the Adapter from the workbench and submitted this settings:-
          a) Source and Target Machines.
          b) Application name, Essbase DB Name
    The issue now is that when I view the mapped dimensions at the "Dimensions" tab, It always gives me a 'connection failed" error beside the "Target Dimension" label so I can't complete my work to map the dimensions.
    I checked the error log also, and found that the error existing now saying "Essbase AP Procedure: [EsbSetActive] Threw code: 1051032-1051032", I searched for this error in the forum here but the solutions offered not working with me!
    Your help is much appreciated , Thanks in advance

    we need to update, ARBORPATH and ESSBASEPATH first, then in the PATH add as shown in the below link(If it is 64 bit machine)
    Hyperion Installations and Implementations: FDM-Essbase Adapter Issue in Hyperion 11.1.2.x
    Make sure, you have installed Essbase Client in the FDM Machine.
    Once the Environmental Variables changes done, restart the Server then try again.
    Let me know if you face any issue....!

I have absolutely no idea whether this is a liability, to have this dir with that write permission, of if i should do something different. Also, i have no idea why i didn't have such a normal-sounding dir... Anyway, i'm posting it just in case anyone bumps into the same criptic ip-config-unavailable message...

  • Installing grub2 fails due to labels conflicts?

    I had a working arch setup on /dev/sda with the following setup:
    /dev/sda1 /boot
    /dev/sda4 /
    Then I bought a new disk and installed a new archlinux onto LUKS from the previous working system. The new setup is the following:
    /dev/sdb1 /boot
    /dev/sdb2 /dev/mapper/cryptroot /
    However I'm still booting from the old sda1 grub-legacy, I just edited the menu.lst to point to the new sdb1 /boot. Now I want to wipe the old disk because I want to encrypt it too. So I installed grub and issued the command:
    root@HomeC # grub-install /dev/sdb
    Installing for i386-pc platform.
    grub-install: warning: Attempting to install GRUB to a disk with multiple partition labels. This is not supported yet..
    grub-install: warning: Embedding is not possible. GRUB can only be installed in this setup by using blocklists. However, blocklists are UNRELIABLE and their use is discouraged..
    grub-install: error: will not proceed with blocklists.
    I don't know it there are multiple labels or not, and my google-fu didn't reveal anything useful (tried this for example: http://slopjong.de/2013/10/11/attemptin … n-labels/). My labels are like this:
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 2014-03-24 10:43 bakoboot -> ../../sdb1
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 2014-03-24 11:16 bakodisk -> ../../sdb
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 2014-03-24 10:43 sda1boot -> ../../sda1
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 2014-03-24 10:43 sda4ext4 -> ../../sda4
    Well there is a suspicious entry, because I don't know how I labelled sdb itself as bakodisk, I probably wanted to label sdb2. Could that be the issue? How do I solve this problem? Also I tried to remove the label with
    e2label /dev/sdb ""

  • TP Connect failed

    Hi Experts,
    We have installed sql server 2005 sp3 and for some reason the sidadm user profile had some issue and I was not able to login.
    The admin guys deleted the profile because of which I could login to the system. But the env. variable was not visible.
    so added the standard variable.
    Imp: There was some issue while sap startup and the dev_w0 was giving some error related to db connect and mentioned some note and also set the MSSQL_FORCEOLEDB=1. and then SAP came up.
    When the env. variable dbms_set = mss was present in user variable of sidadm, and then tested the stms> system> communication --we got this error
    DB Connect            Link to database failed

    Did you ever try to find out the root cause why the user was not able to log in? Since the profile was deleted all environment settings are gone. The only clean way would be to do a system recovery since it's not only the environment but also permissions and local policies that got deleted - including registry permissions and ACLs.
    > The SAP is up but while upgrade the SPAM we are facing this issue. and tried all the thing
    The environment of user SAPService<SID> doesn't seem to be right.
    I suggest you open an OSS call and let the support have a look on your system. It's very difficult to help you without having system access.

  • Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

    Hello,
    I've installed XE 10.2 under Fedora Core 7 from the downloaded .rpm. The RPM installs fine, and I've run the config from the command line. I've edited my bash file to load the environment variables. Here's my hosts file:
    xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx hostname hostname.domain
    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    When I start the oracle-xe service from the services interface, I get this:

    with the HOST name filled in. None of the messages I've searched though on this forum relate to this error. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    ps. I'm running this on my local machine.

    Thanks! that got most of my listener up and running. I now get this:

  • ORA-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist

    Hey Guys,
    I know this particular query has been pinging around for ages now, but i cannot seem to get a good answer from anywhere :)
    Oracle 10g Database RAC installation- installed/ and running
    Oracle 10g Client on different box.
    Problem:
    [user@myserver ~]$ sqlplus

    I am not sure if the first 3 connection entries are even needed in here, are they?
    The last entry is the connect info for the live database.
    What buggs me is that this works:
    [user@myserver ~]$ sqlplus 'user/user@msrac'

    I have a funny feeling that the problem lies with either:
    PROTOCOL=beq
    and/or
    ARGV0=oracleMSRAC
    I have tried everything to remedy this, this is why i am now turning to you guys.
    Any and all help is always greatly appreciated.
    Robert

    Hi Guys,
    Thank you both for your responses, my findings are as follows:
    1. HOST=X.X.COM, ensure host is reachable : PING works and host(s) are reachable.
    2. In RAC Env, ensure TNS Name is correctly spelled, spelling fine, i can connect with the tns name (is TNS name same as SERVICE_NAME?) by: sqlplus 'user/user@racenv'; but my efforts still will not allow me to use:
    sqlplus 'user/user' it tells me that the host or object is does not exist, does this refer to the actual physical machine or the service name, or the instance name?
    All host entries in my tnsnames.ora file refer to the vip addresses of both servers holding the rac installation, and both are resolved just fine, testing with ping; any other way to test this?
    tnsnames file contains CONNECTION strings in the following order (does the listener entry need to be in the file? on the machine that i am trying to connect from?):
    LISTENER_ORCLTELE =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 172.16.3.9)(PORT = 1521))
    ORCLTELE =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 172.16.3.9)(PORT = 1521))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVICE_NAME = orcltele)
    EXTPROC_CONNECTION_DATA =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS_LIST =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = IPC)(KEY = EXTPROC2))
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SID = PLSExtProc)
    (PRESENTATION = RO)
    I tried removing all entries but the entry for MSRAC, but still no joy:
    MSRAC =
    (DESCRIPTION =
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 172.16.3.12)(PORT = 1521))
    (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 172.16.3.13)(PORT = 1521))
    (LOAD_BALANCE = yes)
    (CONNECT_DATA =
    (SERVER = DEDICATED)
    (SERVICE_NAME = MSRAC)
    (failover_mode =
    (type=select)
    (method=basic)
    (retries=180)
    (delay=5))
    Thanks again,
    Robert..
    In the sqlnet.log file the error is as follows:

    It mentions PROTOCOL=BEQ, this should be TCP, is there a way to enforce TCP or disable BEQ??
