Task Creation

I am having problems using a feature of the worklist system.
(1) I want to create a task assigned to a group of users.
(2) I want a user from the defined group to be able to claim the task, then work
with it.
(3) I want a user which has claimed a task to be able to return the task.
I have attempted this by two approaches.
(1) createTaskByName(), setting the tags for owner, assignee info, can reassign
and return
on the task control.
with this approach I get the following exception.
java.lang.SecurityException: The caller must be in the role worklistAdmin or be
the owner of the task
The principle of the process is the user weblogic.
(2) createTask(TaskCreationDocument), with the document attributes set as above.
The task is successfully created.
Why do I get the different behaviour for the two create methods, in both cases
I believe
the principle is weblogic

Nisman,
If the task is meant to be a reminder, why not consider the alternative of a simple report which picks up the records needed (place the report on homepage of the required tab)?
If the task is necessary for audit as well --a 'new task' link can be included in the report for manual creation of a task.
Alternatively, you could try the JoinField function to get the record date into the task -not sure if it works in defaults, let us know from your trial.

       We are getting error while applying schedule task creation GPO (from Windows 2012) to system windows 2008 R2.
    Group Policy object did not apply because it failed with error code '0x80041316 The task XML contains an unexpected node.' This error was suppressed.
    As recommended in many threads, we have made the settings to run the schedule task with user which is "NT Authority\System" (selected user manully from Damain -> Building group -> System).  After changing, we observe that task is getting
    created but we keep on getting warning messages in event viewer. In GPO ->  schedule task -> setting is to "update" schedule task (not create or replace).
    Below is excerpt from traces file while applying GP.

  • TRM task creation not possible

    Hi All,
       I am trying to make configuration for TRM. I have made all assighment in TRM & wm assighnment  & checked for consitancy .
    I have made the contol data customisation,
    In this , I am not getting why in defining Manditory Rout the "Via Zone"  is required to mention.
    So for this i have made the putaway in 2 step.But even though Task is not getting created.
    But no task is getting creating after creation of TO & executing the Task creation i   TRM monitor.
    or
    Pls send me the link for the configuration of TRM.

    Its not showing TO in TRM Monitor. With every creation of new TO its adding following error,
    In T code LTRMS : I RIGHT CLICK ON SITE & selected Application Log,.
    No relevant requests for global scheduling were found

    Where to define this ?
    Is this things matters at  the time of Task creation?

    2) declare ODI_ADMIN_EMAIL variable
    3) declare LOGGER_CHECK_JOB variable
    3-5) set values to all variables
    6) call procedure:

  • CHARM - controlling task creation for CD in to be tested

    Hi people,
    I would like to share the following CHARM issue.
    Developers involved in my project are a lot.
    We use CDs (NC) for developing in an implementation project,
    According to ChaRM standard, when develops end CDs are set by developers in "to be tested" status for testing porpouse in QUA (and TofC are imported in QUA).
    Sometimes in the meantime it happens that an other developer logs in dirctly in DEV and open another task under the TRs that belong to the NC.
    So my question is: is there a way to avoid developer modify the TR adding a new task ?
    At list is there a best practice you can suggest to me?
    Force developer to log in dirctly in SM is a affordable solution?

    TofC are imported in QA and tested. But there's another error to correct.
    So when I now change the corresp. program a new task is created automatically to the TR, althoug I've mo authorization to create a task!

    ACTOR_TAB LIKE SWHACTOR
    AC_CONTAINER LIKE SWCONT with in the function module
    In the transaction PFAC i given the abbrname, name and category as  Agent Determination: Function to be executed and the function module name
    when i click on save im getting the error
    Function module ZBAPI_PLANT_ADDR does not meet the workflow convention

    Tables:
      ACTOR_TAB     LIKE     SWHACTOR
      AC_CONTAINER     LIKE     SWCONT
    Source:
    BREAK-POINT ID zwf.
      actor_tab-otype = 'US'.
      actor_tab-objid = 'SAMPLRL'.
      APPEND actor_tab.
    created a simple role in PFAC using this Y_TEST FM and same cat as you used.
    Works fine with bare min.
    Would need to know a little more of what you are doing in the FM to assist.

  • Tab missing on Tasks creation

    Hi masters! I', having a bizarre case:
    When creating tasks via "new" button on the Tasks search option, the tab "anexos" (frame GS_CM Main WIndow), does appear.
    But, when creating a task via Tasks -> new the same tab does not appear.
    The configuration is exactly the same in both cases.
    The view is BT125H_TASK -TASKOVVIEWSET- usage CUBT125HTASK. The frame GS_CM is configurated to be showed.

    Is anexos the tab of Attachment?
    This should still sounds like UI configuration problem.
    Please use a user id who has UI configuration authorization.
    And start the UI from different ways, and click on the configure page, in the popup, the used configuration will be highlighted.
    Check whether they are using different ones?

    We are planning for ECC with Dec. WMS & TRM
    When I do GR in ECC it will create a inbound delivery [IDOC] in Dec. WMS and T.O is created. If we have TRM then the T.O will be splitted ito various tasks.
    My Questions is:
    1. How are these tasks assigned to resources?? Automatic/Manual
    2. If the resource login into their RF device, will the tasks assigned to them automatically based upon queue??
    3. How is Mobile data entry in ECC differs from TRM??
    4. Also how does the system identify the exact location of a resource inside the site to perfrom task interleaving.

    1/ both are possible. Manual from the TRM monitor, automatic from the device if system guided
    2/ this is based on the task priority. Not really related to the task queue.
    3/ mobile does perform WM equivalent actions/transaction but from a mobile device. TRM mobile transaction process TRM actions on top of WM.
    4/ from the last known location of the resource

    I will explain you a scenario, where you will be able to understand the relation.
    Consider i am manufacturing a two wheeler, which has the material number but with various colours say Red and Blue.
    In this case during my SD process, in the sales order, i need to mention the material number also with the colour as Red in the batch field in order to make the process more specific.
    In order to cater this need, i need to activate batch managment for that material in the purchasing view and also opening the classification view in the Material master with the batch class as 001 _ Material Class.
    Now my work will not get completed without maintaining a batch master for the same. Ie i have to ensure a batchmaster for the material using tcode MSC1N, with batch as colour, Material code, Plant and storage location also if split valuation is activated, we need to mention the valuation type too.
    Hope i had thrown some lights over the topic enquired.

           2.      Change the Notification Service to: com.sap.workflow.es.notificator.JavaMailNotification
           3.      Save.
    If using the KMC Mail Notification, the Notification Service should be : com.sap.workflow.es.notificator.KMNotificationServiceProxy
           4.      Now navigate to System Administration  ®  System Configuration  ®  Universal Worklist and Workflow  ®  Workflow  ®  Mail
           5.      Configure the parameters.

    When I make a transfer order in our decentralized SAP-WM-system, the tasks for TRM are created automatically. Now I get an IDOC (messagetype WMTORD) in WM and the system creates a transfer order. But there are no task created. When I run the rapport RLTRQSCHEDULER the task are created after all. What is the solution to create this task also automatically?
