Hi sugumar,
Unless the standard task (you are trying to copy) exists, you should not get this problem.
It is possible to copy the standard task to a custom task using transaction PFTC_COP by entreing the task type as TS and task number.
To check the standard task existance, you can go to transavtion PFTC and enter the type as TS and task number and click on dipaly button.
Can you please provde the Standard task which you want to copy?

  • Problem - STD Task does not exist in ECC 6.0

    Hi All,
    While looking for SAP standard Workflows in ECC 6.0, I am able to go to
    Workflow --> Activiy --> Task, but after that I am not able to go inside the task and see the properties/ specifications of the task, its not giving any error msg, but its not navigating to the task screen.
    I have tried other way also, i have copied the task number and pasted it in task with task type as "standard task" in PFTC, n tried to display it , but it is throws the message as "task does not exist".
    Same thing happens if I copy any workflow number , paste it in task with task type as "Workflow Template" n try to display in PFTC.
    Because of this problem I am not able to use any standard task in my zworkflow.
    It will be great if someone can tell the possible cause and solution of this problem.
    Thanks
    Priya

    Hey Priya,
    Its standard Leave workflow's Standard Task, Then as Mark and others said, please check the authorization stuff. Also please remember not to give TS when you select the Standard Task.

  • Data acquisition: task specified does not exist

    I am trying to do an analog read.   Apparently in the original code (which I did not write), the data acquisiton is a multithreaded task. (I am not a real programmer, so know next to nothing about multithreading, and not a whole lot about programming)...
    When I tried to collect data (by pressing our "Data Collect" button on the GUI, I got an error along the lines of:
    "Task specified is invalid or does not exist. Status Code: -200088"
    I have figured out that the task the error refers to is called SetCollectData, for which I am not able to find a definition.
    It runs fine when I comment that line out, but of course, no data gets collected!
    Here is the actual data acquisition portion of the code:
    if(DAQInputTask && ) GetCollectData())
                    if((AiData = malloc(sampsPerChan*AiNumChannels*sizeof(float64))) == NULL )
                        MessagePopup("Error","Not enough memory");
                        goto Error;
                    DAQmxErrChk(DAQmxReadAnalogF64(DAQInputTask,-1,0,DAQmx_Val_GroupByScanNumber,AiData,sampsPerChan*AiNumChannels,&numRead,NULL));
                    fwrite (AiData, sizeof(float64), sampsPerChan*AiNumChannels, AiRawData);
           *AiData = NULL;
    Any ideas?
    I have switched to NIDAQmx drivers, and have had a host of problems since switching to DAQmx functions.  So, this new problem may still be related.
    Thanks!

    Tasks in CVI are the basic of data acquisition: every operation is run under a task which groups channel definition, triggers, acquisition rate and almost every other element which constitues an acquisition process.
    You should try to find informations about the tasks used in your project, possibly asking the original programmer; on the same time, you should learn some infos about how daqmx treats data acquisition process. Here you can find the help page related to tasks: I suggest you read that page and use it as a starting point for your search. Keep in mind that a task can be defined either inside the program or within MAX. One possible cause for not finding the task while running the program is that is has been defined in MAX on one machine and you have moved the project to another one without moving MAX informations too from the original PC, but this is only a guess.
    It's not clear from your words whether you are modifying an existing project developed in DAQMx from the beginning or you are moving an old NI-DAQ project to DAQMx. These are very different scenarios. In every case you should see the exact line where the error arises, look for the task handle used in that line (e.g. 'DAQInputTask' in the code you posted) and find the line where the task is loaded/created (ultimately try a search for that variable name in all your source files and examine each line where it si used).
    Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

  • Error in WF Customizing, Standard task TS00008267 does not exist

    Hi Experts,
    I need your help with the Workflow Customizing (SWU3). After doing the automatic customizing, I am getting an error "Workflow: No workflow definition found" when I try to start the Verification Workflow. So I decided to execute each component in SWU3 and I found out that when I execute "Classify Decision Task as General", (though it is checked/green), it says that "Object TS 00008267 does not exist".
    I checked in tcode PFTC that the task is really missing in our Development server, though they exist in QA and production.
    What should I do to get this fixed? I really don't have any idea. Should I apply a patch, install something, or create TS00008267? I can't find anything on the net that solves this problem.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    DN

    Hello Dexter,
    I see you loked at the other tread which I just responded to. I have copied my reply below.
    If you find that all tasks are missing and not just TS00008267 then it is most likely an authorisation issue. Run transaction
    SU53 to see what authorisation objects your user is missing. It is related to Org Management authorisations.
    If you have to transport it try transaction SE01 (Transport Organiser) it is possible to transport from system to system. Just click on Create button and then select 'Transport of copies'. Then just enter you target system and save. You can then add the
    objects you wish to transport to your Target system.
    Example:=============================
    R3TR PDTS 00008267
    In SE01, click Create => Transport of copies
    => Name the request and save
    => Click 'Include Objects' button and choose 'Freely selected
    objects'.
    =>Enter the Development class SWD and click 'Selected
    Objects'. F4 at the bottom of the list (Under the DTEL
    entry) and select the entry "R3TR PDTS" and click OK.
    Now enter the task ID 00008267 in the dialog box
    opposite it and click the checkbox (See attached screen
    shot) and then click the Execute button.
    => Expland the list and goto the task
    => Select 00008267 and click the "Save In Request"
    button.
    You can do this with any standard tasks you want to transport to your system.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Eddie

  • Adding to a task list - User does not exist or is not unique

    We have SharePoint 2010 with a single web server front end and another server as the SQL server.  When trying to add a task to a list or an announcement to a page, users are getting the error, "The user does not exist or is not unique."
    I have searched diligently for an answer, but cannot find anything about this with regards to users getting the error.

    i have faced your problem few minutes ago. when i was trying to solve another problem
    --->> (Object Cache: The super user account utilized by the cache is not configured) --> my current problem
    i have found at search results the below PS command to configure super user and super reader.
    $w = Get-SPWebApplication http://webapplicationlink
    $w.Properties["portalsuperuseraccount"] = "domain account"
    $w.Properties["portalsuperreaderaccount"] = "domain account"
    $w.Update()
    but it caused me another problem which you are facing right now.
    ---> ( Error:  The user does not exist or is not unique)
    while adding any item to any list specially lists
    then i have tried to rollback by doing the below PS command and it worked and solved it.
    $w = Get-SPWebApplication http://webapplicationlink
    $w.Properties["portalsuperuseraccount"] = ""
    $w.Properties["portalsuperreaderaccount"] = ""
    $w.Update()
    after that check for the super user and super reader by
    Get-SPWebApplication | %{Write-Host "Web Application: " $_.url "`nSuper user: " $_.properties["portalsuperuseraccount"] "`nSuper reader: " $_.properties["portalsuperreaderaccount"] "`n"}
    This is the output for the above command should be like this.

  • WLST Ant Task Definiton does not exist for 8.1 ?

    Hi,
    I am trying to use Maven's ant plugin to run some WLST script to create some artifcats on my server. We are using platform 8.1 and so i downloaded the WLST 6.4 zip file from dev2dev and it contains wlst.jar and jython.jar but I cant find the following (which comes as std with 9.0):-
    weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLSTTask
    Its not with the WLST distribution so how can I use it with my 8.1 infra (I am using the maven ant:ant plug in here) so have added the taskdef to my build.xml but I cant find it in any of the weblogic or wlst jar files....or the 8.1 wls ant distribution. Am I missing something ? Or I am forced to use this in my build file:-
    <property name="propertiesFile" location="c:/eworld"/>
    <target name="createServers">
    <java classname="weblogic.WLST" fork="yes">
    <arg line="-loadProperties ${propertiesFile}/connect.properties antExample.py" />
    </java>
    </target>
    I wanted to (as in the 9.0 docs) use:-
    <taskdef name="wlst" classname="weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLSTTask" />
    <target name="runwlst">
    <wlst fileName="./myscript.py" executeScriptBeforeFile="true"
    debug="false" failOnError="false" />
    </target>
    Your help much appreciated !.
    TIA

    I have found out that the WSLTTask does not exist for 8.1 and only for 9.X.

  • The name '' does not exist in the current context

    I have a recurring problem where all of a sudden I can no longer see the values of my variables when I debug my unit tests. I cannot find a pattern as to when this happens but I experience this across one of every 20 tests that I write. Occasionally this
    has also happened during normal debbuging of running code on my machine.
    I have included 2 screen shots. The first is when it is working. I have a break point set at the declaration of list of types. At this point all my variables are still reporting their values back to the debugger. Once I step over this to the next line (screen
    shot 2) I get the error message 'The name '[variable name]' does not exist in the current context'
    This problem is annoying me to no end. If anyone has any insight as to why this might be happening I would be very much appreciative.
    My Settings/Configuration
    Using Visual Studio 2013 Premium (Version 12.0.31101.00 Update 4)
    Projects are all set to Target Framework = .NET 4.5.1
    Resharper 9.1 is installed
    My active configuration is debug mode, Any CPU
    My PC is 64bit and so is the O/S windows 8.1
    All of my projects are also compiled and built in debug mode
    For all my projects configuration debug has the Optimize Code check box unchecked
    I am unit testing code in an outside project referenced by the unit testing project (standard unit test project setup)
    I make use of the latest version of NSubstitute in my tests although I do not think that would have any bearing on this issue
    I omitted the code following the error because it is not relevant. I had cut it out and replaced it with a Task.Delay(4) which resulted in the same issue.
    What I have tried so far
    I have tried debugging the unit test  from Visual Studio Test Explorer instead of from Resharper with the same result.
    If I remove 2 items at the end of the array it starts to work again (so 6 items initialized instead of 8)
    I clean solution with rebuild has no effect
    Removing properties of the array also seems to work, example remove all initialization of property Value

    Hi IWolbers,
    >>I have a recurring problem where all of a sudden I can no longer see the values of my variables when I debug my unit tests. I cannot find a pattern as to when this happens but I experience this across one of every 20 tests that I write. Occasionally
    this has also happened during normal debbuging of running code on my machine.
    So you mean that it worked well before, am I right?
    If you debug the same app in other VS machine, does it work well? So we could make sure that whether it is related to the VS IDE.
    Please disable all add-ins in your VS IDE, and then reset your VS settings, debug it again.
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms247075(v=vs.100).aspx
    Or you could run your VS in safe mode, debug it again, at least, we could know that whether it is the add-in's issue.
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms241278.aspx
    To make sure that it is not the project files' issue, create a new blank solution, copy the project files to the new solution, clean and rebuild the solution, check the result.
    >>Once I step over this to the next line (screen shot 2) I get the error message 'The name '[variable name]' does not exist in the current context'
    How about debugging it with "Step Into" instead of "Step Over"? Or you could add breakpoints between 234 line to 241 line, after the breakpoint is hit, check the watch window again. How about the result?
    In addition, do you check other debugger window like local or others?
    Best Regards,

  • APEX_APPLICATION_FILES: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

    Hello,
    As my first APEX task I am attempting the upload/download demo on http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B32472_01/doc/appdev.300/b32469/up_dn_files.htm
    The ultimate goal is to store PDF files in the database.
    In order to complete step 1: To create an application using the Create Application Wizard:
    - I first created a user from SYSTEM called 'myapp'
    - Next I logged into 'myapp' to continue the exercise. (I am wondering if that is where I am going wrong... If so, please clarify)
    - Knowing that I would want to save the upload to a table I created a table with a BLOB
    I did the steps for the upload and ran the application - no errors to there.
    Next I needed to "To create a report on APEX_APPLICATION_FILES:".
    I started the wizard as instructed. When I pasted the SELECT ... FROM APEX_APPLICATION_FILES, I got the table or view does not exist. A quick review of the TABLES tab shows only the tables that I created. Not any of the system tables or views.
    I logged back in as SYSTEM and reviewed the 'rights' given the user 'myapp'. All were checked.
    I knew nothing of Oracle when I installed XE, so I took defaults or whatever the install doc said to do. Is that part of the problem? It is clear that I do not have rights to see that table, but I also do not see the table when logged in as SYSTEM.
    Any insight appreciated,
    Rick

    l_blob BLOB;
    BEGIN
    INSERT INTO tab1 (col1)
    VALUES (empty_blob())
    RETURN col1 INTO l_blob;
    l_bfile := BFILENAME('IMAGES', 'MyImage.gif');
    DBMS_LOB.fileopen(l_bfile, Dbms_Lob.File_Readonly);
    DBMS_LOB.loadfromfile(l_blob, l_bfile, DBMS_LOB.getlength(l_bfile));
    DBMS_LOB.fileclose(l_bfile);
    COMMIT;
    END;
    Is the 'BFILENAME' function that causes the 'get a filename' dialog box of Windows to open for the user to find which file to upload?
    I'm going off to look for a newer version of APEX, thanks.

  • VMM 2012 R2 - Create or Update Run As Account Failure: The specified directory service attribute or value does not exist

    VMM 2012R2 UR4 - Version 3.2.7768.0
    Not sure when this started happening since I haven't had to update or create a new RunAs account in VMM in some time, but every time I do, either through the console or through PowerShell it throws an error about The specified directory service attribute
    or value does not exist.  The VMM Service account is the same as it always has been, and other than this issue everything with VMM is working fine.  The full text of the error message is below.
    I am hoping someone has some ideas because I don't have any more at this point.
