TAX Calculation as per child items for fininsh goods in sale bill.

hi team,
here i am implementing SAP business one in construction company :
SCENARIO:
TEMPLATE BOM= FG=ABC+D
steps:
1.sales order for FG item in which child items we are manually at row level for print layout issues.
2.Delivery challan document we are making by copy to functionality and then again selecting FG item so that
child items come again under FG at row level this we are doing so that we can decrease teh stock of chil items whihc ever is required.
3.A/R invoice we are creating in system only with FG item by deleting child item at row level due to print layout problems.
in sales invoice we are entering unit price of FG.
ISSUE ONLY ON VAT:
here in this company during creation of sales invoice WE HAVE to calculate the tax amount through system but the problem is that we have different taxt rates for different child items whihc is explained as below:
1.A(Material-aluminum)-vat@4%
2.B(material- hardware)- vat 12.5%
3.c(Material- Glass)- vat@4%
4.D(labour)-  VAT not applicable only service tax 10.3% is applicable
so now my question is as follows:
1.how to calcualte the vat tax amount on invoice if child items are not present on invoice or
how to calculate the sale price( exclusive of  tax) of the child item from the sale price of the FG(COMPANY is not able to bifurcate the sale price of finish goods at child items)
example:
after adding delivery we can come to know the COGS of the child items suppose
A=50
B=30
C=20
D=60
total=160
FG SALE PRICE =200 (exclusive of tax)SO Total margin is 40Rs(equivalent to 25%)
then A= 5012.5(MARGIN)=62.5 WITH VAT 4%= 62.52.5=65
B=307.5(MARGIN)=37.5 WITH VAT 12.5%= 37.54.69=42.19
C= 205(MARGIN)=25 WITH VAT 4%= 251=26
D=60+15(MARGIN)=75 with  NIL VAT
FG= 62.537.525+75=200
vat on above= 2.54.691= 8.19Rs.

Hi Amit,
Ur example is practicle example by PLD or query and QPLD this is not possible to solve.
I will suggest u , through help of crystal report and developer u can get desire output for print out of sales bill
with reference of its base documents.
Regards,
Mahesh.

2.added condition type R100 in the pricing procedure.with requirment 55 and base value 28.
3.Item category assignment for free goods(i am using standard)
4.free good condition record in VBN1 for inclusive and exclusive.
5.in sales order i am giving correct quantity.
But in sales order the second line item for free goods (TANN) is not determining.
Kindly suggest where it went wrong ?

  • MIRO: Field Status control per GL master for non-goods receipt invoices

When posting incoming invoices in FI using FB60, the combination of GL account and CO account assignment are validated and checked against Field Status Group (FSTAG).  Such controls are also in place in MM for purchase requisition (ME51N) and purchase order (ME21N), in addition to checking the account assignment category.
But there is problem in posting non-goods receipt (2-way match) invoices in MIRO u2013 system checks GL account and account assignment object according to account assignment category in PO, but not the field status based on GL account.  GL account and acct assignment object are proposed by purchase order.  However they can be overwritten by users with no validation, often resulting in incorrect posting.  Wonder how other manage this issues in their companies.
I would like and need help in implementing a validation or user exit in MIRO which will check GL account against its CO account assignment for cost centre, order or WBS, based on the field status group of the GL master.
Q1,  Where is the user-exit or validation maintained that checks the field status group in FB60 and ME21N (not in OB28 or GGB0)?
Q2.  If purchase requisition and purchase order  check field status group based on GL account, how can we make such controls available in MIRO?
Q3.  What is the transaction code for developing a validation for MIRO?  (MM MIRO not appeared in the application area of GGB0.)
    Appreciated any help

    Hi
Th evalidation should be at the source is the Purchase Order. I beleive it is standard SAP Config to put the validation there. So once the PO has been created with the correct account assignments the GR and IR will be correct.

  • Is Credit Check Per Line Item in Sales Order  Possible?

    Dear All,
Hope you all are doing well !!!
Infact i am currently implementing OPM and SCM modules for a CSD (carbonated soft drinks) industry. They have a specific requirement on Credit Management. Please look at the Requirement Below.
Credit Management Per Line on SO
Client Charges Distributors for both Liquids (Finished Product) + [Return Glass Bottles and Shells) for the First Time.
Subsequently while returning RGB(Return Glass Bottles)'s and Shell's are being given Credit memos.
CBL gives credit only on Bottles & shells but not on Liquids.
For Liquids CBL takes the Prepayment & Its Compulsory.
So the Credit limit needs to be check on the bottles and shells only.
Oracle E-Business Suite Credit Management does not work per line item for a
Particular Sales Order. It works on total Sales Order. as this is not a standard Process in Oracle how we can achieve this without customization.
Please suggest me through any workaround we can achieve this and its a show stopper for us and business critical for my client. Please help me on this regard.
    Thanks & Regards,

I'd suggest writing your own might be easier. Oracle buckets the exposure as per the list below whereas you are probably only interested in seeing a total order exposure (by line item for bottles/shells) and total AR exposure summary.
Also the standard report will look at the unit sell * the ordered quantity in calculating transaction amounts on open orders which is your problem. If I've understood your requirement correctly, you only want to consider the shells and bottles in the credit check because you enforce prepayment for liquids so presumably your AR o/s balances are only for money owing on shells and bottles.
In that case, your only real issue is at the order entry stage (again because Oracle will be considering the total transaction value if you're using the standard automated credit check) which is why I suggested the manual workaround there.

  • Dynamic Table Two lines per data item

    Hi experts!!
In my form i have a table with two lines per data item for example the table i want the table to be:
    boldheader rowbold
    bold1,1 1,2bold
    bold1,3 1,4bold
I have also wrapped the table in a subform, and marked the checkbox "Repeat Row for each data item".
    Instead i get :
    1,1 1,2
    2,1 2,2
    1,3 1,4
    2,3 2,4
How can i display two rows per item ???
    Thank you in advance!!!

If there are two lines in a single row for a table (I.e if there are 14 columns, How to be adjusted).
There are two possible ways of doing.
    1) a) Create a SubForm
        b) Create a Table (If you create a table there will be Header Row and Body Row)
        c) Delete the Body Row and instead of it create a SubForm with name Body Row
        d) Now you have one Header Row and SubForm as BodyRow.
        e) SubForm BodyRow again create two SubForms with names Row1, Row2.
        f) Now make the SubFormBodyRow as Flow layout and repeat the SubForm(Since if you make this then the child nodes (Row1 & Row2) will inherit the properties of the parent node (SubForm-BodyRow).
       g) Now you can have two rows in one lineitem.
    2) The second possible way is showing it in a Dynamic ToolTip.
Lets say you have a table inside a table then you can show it in a Dynamic ToolTip when you place the cursor in a Student Id you will get Student Data.
    Hope it solves.

  • Duplication of Child Items in BOM

Add this to the SBO_SP_TransactionNotification stored Procedure to block duplicate items for the same parent
    <font color='Blue'>
    IF @transaction_type IN ('A','U') AND @object_type = '66'
    BEGIN

  • Tax calculation in VA01

    Hello,
While creating a sales order through VA01, we are passing additional fields to the pricing structures using the user exit<b> 'EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001'</b> . Here, we are setting the value of <b>'ch_user_changed_fields-accnt_no'</b> to the ship to party partner number. Now, we have a change in requirement, which says that we need to set the item level bill to party instead of ship to party. The problem we are facing is that this exit does not get hit when the bill to party is changed, but gets hit when the ship to party is changed.
Does this have anything to do with the config, or is there any other exit that can be used?
Please let me know if you have a solution or have done something similar..
    Thanks
    Deepa

    Hello,
subject is little bit surprize me becoz you want change partner functions of sales order why do call it as tax calculation any way partner functions can be changed in sales order <b>MV45AFFZZ and userexit_save_document_prepare</b> exit. partners storing in XVBPA internal table.
    loop at xvbpa.
    do your logic here.
    endloop.
Note : Header partner function can be identified by <b>posnr 000000</b> and <b>item is 000010,000020</b> and so on.
let me know if you want any clarifications.

  • Reg WBS Element in Sales Order Line Item For Sales Order BOM

    Hi ,
    Greetings!!!!
I have a requirement, in a Sales Order I am Exploding BOM. After that Projects will be Created.
Once Project will be created i need to Assign WBS element for All Items in Sales Order.
My requirement is When I assign WBS element for Header Material (Parent Item) system will auto assign WBS for Child Items.
for this what Configuration I have to do.
    Please do need full.
    Thanks,
    Regards,
    Prasad.

    Hi Dayananda
Check in transaction VTFL for given item category what copying routine are set. Check those copy routine and see if there is any data is being copied from table VBAP
Similar to above also check transaction VTFA for copying routine (if any)
As a standard SAP even we create an invoice with reference to the delivery document, still there are some data which is being copied from a sales order i.e. all pricing relevant information is copied from your sales order and not from delivery.

  • Get delivery number for PO items for complaint display report

    Hi All,
I am working on Complaint Display report, While delivering the line items for a PO sometimes vendor may do mistake and then customer generates the complaint display report to let the vendor know the delivery mistakes. Delivery mistake can be done because of the following:
    1. Charging amount more than was it was mentioned on PO
    2. Not delivering complete quantities and etc.
Now I want to get the delivery items for each goods receipt item.
Information that I have is the invoice number and vendor number and the line item material number.
    Thanks,
    Mark

You can refer to Purchase Order History Table ( EKBE) for this. You can pass the Purchase Order or Invoice number to the EKBE-EBELN and EKBE-BELNR fields respectively. set EKBE-VGABE = '2' ( i.e invoice receipts). EKBE-BEWTP = 'IR' or 'IR-L' ( Po history category).
    Hope it solves ur problem.

Free Goods Determination in Sales Order
Free goods has the following limitations:
    - Free goods can only be supported on a 1:1 ratio. This means that an order item can lead to a free goods item. Agreements in the following form are not supported: ‘With material 1, material 2 and material 3 are free of charge‘ or ‘If material 1 and material 2 are ordered at the same time, then material 3 is free of charge‘.
    - Free goods are not supported in combinations with material structures (for example, product selection, BOM, variants with BOM explosion).
    - Free goods are only supported for sales orders with document category C (for example, not quotations).
    - Free goods are not supported for deliveries without reference to a sales order.
    - Free goods cannot be used in make-to-order production, third-party order processing and scheduling agreements.
    - If you defined a free goods for variants in a generic article (only SAP Retail), you can only process the variants in the purchase order and goods receipt individually (as single articles). In other words, you cannot process them using the generic article matrix.
    4.6x
Not all Sales Order can be used for free goods determination.  You have to check the SD document category if it does not work.  Only category 'C' are supported.  Check transaction VOV8.
Assume that you want to configure an inclusive FREE goods routine.  Customers must order a minumum quantity of 5 before any free goods can be assign.  For every quantity of 3, the customer will be given 1 free goods.
WC07 - Maintain Number Range Intervals
    e.g.
    No   From number       To number
    01    0000010000         0000099999
IMG -> Sales and Distribution -> Basic Functions -> Free Goods ->

    FREE           Free Goods
Select Procedure FREE then click Control data

    10       10      FREE
V/N6 - Activate Free Goods Determination
Assign Order Type OR with Document Procedure A with Procedure FREE
VBN1 - Create free goods determination
    e.g.  FREE inclusive
Material  Min qty   From   are free good   Calc Rule   Free Goods
                           5           3                1                      1                1
In this example, if you create a Sales Order for a quantity of 10, SAP will prompt you 7 as the customer order qty and 3 will be free.  Customer only pay for the 7 quantity.
    Free goods –
Free goods play a large role in price negotiations with your customers. As a result, free goods are determined to be placed in sales document automatically. In retail, chemical industry or consumer goods industry, it is common to provide discounts in the form of free goods.
Inclusive Bonus Quantities – Free goods can be part of order quantity not included in the invoice (billing). This is called inclusive bonus quantity. The ordered goods and the free goods both involve the same material. The quantity units of the free goods and the ordered goods must be the same.
Exclusive Bonus Quantities – Free goods that take the form of extra goods that are free of charge are called exclusive bonus quantities. In this case, the extra bonus quantities are not typically included in the invoice (billing). This can either be an additional quantity of the goods ordered or it can be another article. The exclusive free of goods appear in the SD document as an individual ‘free of charge’ item.
Both types of free goods are treated in the same way in the sales order. The material that has been ordered is entered as a main item (TAN) and the free item (TANN) is automatically displayed as a sub item. The item category determines how the item is controlled later in the business process.
The system re-reads the free goods master record in the sales order if the quantities in the main item change or if the pricing date changes. The system then deletes the sub items and re-creates them. Any manual changes to the free goods quantity are lost.
Note: If pricing is re-run in the sales order, it does not affect the free goods determination.
The condition technique is used for free goods. Free goods are generally regarded as a supplement to the pricing agreement for a material. You can define master records for free goods at any level such as material, customer/material, price list category/currency/material or customer hierarchy/material. The transaction code is VBN1 and condition type – NA00 which automatically gets converted into R100 during sales document processing.
You can restrict a free goods condition master record for one level in many ways –
    a. Validity period: the condition is only valid within this period
    b. Lowest quantity: the condition comes into affect when this quantity has been exceeded.
    c. Delivery control:
    d. Calculation type:
    e. Scales
You can process different master data with the same key for inclusive and exclusive bonus quantities at the same time. You only need to press a button to switch between two types of discount. When you enter an exclusive bonus quantity, an extra entry line appears where you can enter the free material if it is not the same as the ordered material.
When you specify a calculation rule, you decide how the system determines the free goods quantity in the sales order from the additional and document quantities.
    a. The free goods quantity is the quantity that is calculated from the discount quantity (not the minimum quantity)
    b. Additional quantity is the quantity delivered free of charge
    c. Document quantity is the quantity entered by the person creating the sales order.
Three calculation rules are provided by the system i.e.
Prorated – the system calculates the free goods in right proportion to document the quantity. For example – if 20 units are offered for free for 100 units in the condition record and the customer orders 162 units, then the system calculates 162 * 20/100 (rounded off) as free goods.
Related to units – 20 units are given for free for every 100 units ordered. In the above case the customer would only get 20 units free as he placed an order for 162 units.
Whole units – the customer would not get any free goods if he doesn’t match the exact quantity proposed. That is, in the above case, the customer doesn’t get any free goods as the ordered quantity did not match 100 units. Anything below or over the mark will not be qualified for a free good.
Calculation rules are stored in the system in the form of ABAP/4 code. You can also define your own rules by using transaction code VOFM (system modifications).
The free goods determination procedure contains a list of condition types for the free goods. One access sequence is assigned to each condition type and each access sequence contains one ore more accesses and each access contains exactly one table. This represents the search key that the system uses to search for valid condition records.
The free goods determination procedure is assigned to sales area + document pricing procedure + customer pricing procedure just as in the case of pricing procedure assignment as free goods are generally regarded as a supplement to the pricing agreement for a material.
If the search is successful, the system generates a sub item for free goods in the document. The item category is assigned with the item category usage FREE.
You can activate an analysis of the free goods determination in the sales document. The system then displays detailed information on how the free goods were determined.

  • Good add-ons for retail, point of sale, wholesale and distrbution industry

    Hi,
Which are the good add-ons available in India for retail, point of sale billing, wholesale and distribution industry?
    Typical requirements are:
    1. Point of sale billing
    2. Barcoding - if same item is scanned twice, the qty of the item should increase, rather than creating a new item row.
    3. Combo Offers - Buy 1 Get 1 Free, etc.
    4. Repacking of items - buy in bulk and sell in loose
    5. Support for multiple MRP for same item, example an item with old MRP is in stock, and the same item with new MRP is also in stock
    6. Loyalty Point, Membership schemes
    7. Multiple Payment Modes in same Invoice: Coupons, Card, Cash, etc.
The add-on should work on B1 Starter Pack licenses.
The customer operates small sized departmental stores from 3 locations, with 1 or 2 billing counters in each location, and has limited budget due to which we are suggesting B1 starter pack to him.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
Please refer license guide for starter package: (page 10)

  • User exits for route determination in Sales order & Deliver creation

    Hi Gurus,
I need to do some change in the route determination for both sales order & Delivery creation.
Can anyone suggest me which user exit I have to use.
    Appropriate answers will be awarded.

    Hi,
You can use the following exit for route determination - EXIT_SAPL0VRF_001.
The FM documentation is below. Check the functionality:
"The customer exit can be used for customer-specific route determination or to modify the inbound data for the company's own route determination.
The following data is transferred to support customer-specific route determination:
I_VBAK current order header (for route determination in sales order)
I_VBKD order business data (for route determination in sales order)
I_VBAP current order item (for route determination in sales order)
    I_VBPA current sales partner
I_LIKP current delivery header (for route determination in delivery)
The following data can be modified and transferred back to the standard route determination or used for a specific route determination:
    C_ALAND Country of departure
    C_AZONE Departure zone
    C_LLAND Destination country
    C_LZONE Receiving zone
    C_VSBED Shipping condition
    C_TRAGR Transportation group
    C_GRULG Weight group
C_FLAG_GEN_VT Flag: Route determination with generic shipping
    requirements/transportation group.
C_FLAG_INCR_GRULG Flag: Increase weight group if no route
If you want to use a standard route determination with different parameters, trigger the exception 'CONTINUE_WITH_STANDARD'.
In the log table C_PROT, the log data from the customer-specific route determination can be transferred back. In this case, the log entries always refer to customer-specific messages. To add a message to the log table, the function module SD_ROUTE_DET_LOG can be used (see below).
If a route is determined in the customer-specific route-determination, it can be transferred back in the E_ROUTE field. If no route was found, the exception 'NO_ROUTE_FOUND' is to be triggered."
    Thanks.
