  • Service tax condition types in Pricing Procedure in SD(Taxinn)

I need one more advice on Service tax.
I am configuring order type for services. In that in pricing I have to add the service tax conditions type for service tax & cess on that.We do not have any standard condition type in our pricing procedure for services.
Is there any standard SAP doc. to configure service tax condition types in pricing procedure or I have to copy from JLST & JLSR(surcharge). What about the account keys I will used for these condition types.
If you have any doc. related to this issue please send it to me....or suggest me what to do.
Please remeber I am using TaxINN tax procedure.
    Please help me
    Thanks & Regards

    PROCEDURE: Initial Steps
Create two new Tax conditions: JSE4, JES4. Steps for creation of Tax Condition is illustrated below
    Create new condition types
SAP Standard IMG -> Financial Accounting -> Financial Accounting Global Settings -> Tax on Sales/Purchases -> Basic Settings -> Check Calculation Procedure. (Transaction OBYZ)
    Select ‘Define Condition Types’
Select Condition Type JIN1 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Condition type as JSE4 and the Name as “Service Tax”.
Select Condition Type JIN5 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Condition type as JES4 and the Name as “ECS on Service Tax”.
Outcome: The two tax conditions, one for Service Tax and the second for Education Cess on Service Tax have now been created.
    1.     Create a new tax posting key VS9 and VS0.
    The path for this is:
SPRO  Financial Accounting  Financial Accounting Global Settings  Tax on Sales/Purchases  Basic Settings  Check and Change Settings for Tax Processing
Select the Processing Key MW1 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Key as VS9 and Name as ‘India Service Tax’.
Select the Processing Key MW1 and Click on Copy as (F6) and give the Key as VS0 and Name as ‘ECS on Service Tax’.
Note: If there are multiple service tax registration numbers, you need to have separate account posting to different GL accounts based on service registration number. This can be done provided a separate tax code is maintained for each service registration number.
To achieve this you need to define a set of 2 separate G/L accounts for service tax and Education CESS on service tax respectively, for every service registration number.
In such a case, please activate multiple accounts posting per tax code as follows:
Defining the GL accounts for the Service tax and ECS on Service Tax:
SPRO  Financial Accounting  Financial Accounting Global Settings  Tax on Sales/Purchases  Posting -> Define Tax accounts
Go to Details of the Transaction VS9 (Service Tax GL account)  and enter the Chart of accounts…
Select the Tax Code Check Box if you want to have Tax Code Specific GL accounts or Blank when the common GL accounts…

  • Identify TAX condition type from pricing procedure

    Hello,
I need to identify Tax condition type for various countries used in Old sales orders. We are moving to an external Tax engine and I need to identify what condition are being used to calculate tax in various countries. I know the pricing procedure but we have a lot of sales order and there is no documentation available. Is there any table where I can filter based on the sales org from existing sales order and find the Corresponding Tax condition type.
    Regards,
    Amanda

    One option is
you have to execute SE16, input table KONV where you maintain the tax condition type and execute.
System will populate all SD documents that are having that tax condition type.  There you have to copy the field "Doc. condition" and paste it in VBAK table in SE16 so that you will get all sale orders.
    The other option is
you need to identify what access sequence is maintained for that tax condition type which you can see in V/06.  Next go to V/07, select this access sequence and execute.  There check what tables are maintained.  For example, in your case, it could be table 110.  So you have to develop a query by table joining A110 and VBAK in SQVI where you can take sale orders based on sales organisation.

  • Tax code linked with Pricing procedure

    Hi,
How the tax code have been linked with the pricing procedure? Please explain the inter-releationship between TAXINJ and Pricing proceure ? Thanks in advance.
    BK

    Hi,
You have asked two questions in your response, I will answer these seperately.
<i>How the tax code has been linked for the CENVAT creditable items</i>
For Cenvat creditable items, you will have to define tax codes that have values  corresponding to condition types JIP5, JIP6, JIP7, JIP8, JIP8 (in FTXP). Respective G/L accounts will have to be assigned against the Accounting keys by the Finance team. These tax codes can then be used in PO.
<i>How these two pricing procedures have been incorporated in SAP and which one will take precedency</i>
Net price calculated from the pricing procedure you define (which starts with Gross price and includes Discounts and Surchages) is passed on as the Base Amount to TAXINJ. Applicable taxes are calculated on this and the calculated value is passed on to your pricing procedure through the condition types NAVS/NAVM. You should add NAVS / NAMV after the net is calculated. This when added to the delivery costs (freight, forwarding charges) will give you the effective value.
    Hope this answers your queries.

  • All tax condition in while billing document insted of Sales order

    Hi,
As per our present process for excise and non excise Sales order and any other type of sales order we have created different pricing procedure and sales order type and when we create sales order we can see the tax conditions with amount in sales order only,  is it possible to make only one sales order type but intial no tax condition should come in Sales order we want to common sales order type and the we will create different delivery types for different type of order conditions lik eexcise , non ecise etc. and after that when we create the billing document at that time tax condtion should come in the billing document condition with tax amount.
       How to configure above.
    regards,
    zafar

    Hi Zkarnalkar,
Have you tried setting pricing requirement #24 for all tax conditions in your pricing procedure?
This is a standard SAP requirement routine that will allow the condition to appear only for Invoices (other than Pro-Forma), Credit/Debit requests, and Returns.
If this is too much, then you can ask your development team to copy this code into a custom requirement routine and adjust as needed.
    Best Regards,

  • Tax Condition

    Hi,
I do not want to use Tax Procedure TAXINJ or TAXINN as in this implementation there is no Cenvat, no maintenance of any excise related data, registers etc, etc
Only requirement is in PO we are able to capture various taxes like excise duty, cess on duties, sale tax, LST, etc. what vendor charges to us.
Shall we create directly Tax conditions in PO pricing procedure without using any of TAXINJ or TAXINN? Is it feasible? Any impact?
Can I create conditions with the following
    Condition class D (Taxes)
    Calculation Type A (Percentage)
    Condition category D (Tax)
What shall be the access sequence if any in these conditions?
PO pricing procedure will have condition NAVS and NAVM as conditions or not?
    Regards

    Hi,
If your not going to use CIN module then not to worry about TAXINN or TAXINJ. This comes only under CIN module.
Standard Pricing procedure will take care of your conditions.
For Tax codes you can use FTXP to create. VAT Taxes amount you can get Set off. Regardsing set off you can check with your FI consultant.

  • Difference between tax determination procedure and pricing procedure....

    Hi,
What is the use of Tax determination procedure when we maintain tax condition types in pricing procedure.(and condition records will pick the correct tax rates).
My question is that, can we trigger an o/p tax without maintaining a tax procedure at document type level? If yes then what is the basic use of tax determination procedure in SAP?

Tax procedure is being used in the Country Version India Add-On and requires to maintain additional data in the Excise Rate Maintenance transaction, J1ID. Each of the excise duties in the tax Procedure Tax procedure has its own condition types, and each condition type is assigned to a formula in the standard SAP. This formula instructs the system to calculate the excise duty using the data that have been maintained in the Excise Rate Maintenance transaction.
FTXP for a country is determine from TAX procedure assign to the country.

  • Problem with tax condition in TAXINN

    Hi,
    This is related to India.
We are using TAXINN tax procedure. We maintained the following steps:
1.all conditions in the procedure – JMOP, JMX1, JECP,JEX1, JSEP, JHX1, JVRD assigned account keys for the required accordingly.
    2.made tax codes – V0 , V1
3.assigned accounting keys to G/L accounts in OB40
4.made condition record with Plant / vendor/ material combination for all above conditions.
When I am making PO by entering all values including tax codes  I could not able to see values flowing for JEX1 (Set off condition for Ecess), JHX1(Set off condition for Sec Ecess), JVRD (VAT RM Deductible condition). When I go to Analysis Pricing and check for these conditions values are appearing for those conditions & for those combinations. But I got message “ Condition record exists, but has not been reset” . Because of this value is not flowing.
Can any body throw light on this.

TAXINN .. JHX1.. AT1 set off condition Total
TAXINN... JEX1... Ecss set oof condition Total
TAXINN... JVRD .. A/P RM VAT Deductible
Then assign Tax codes to Compnay codes in

  • Pricing date for the tax condition type should be invoice creation date

    HI Folks,
As per the current design taxes conditions are determining based on the Service rendered date which is similar to the GI date and pricing type is G in copy control .
New requirement is taxes should calculate based on the Invoice creation date in the invoice.in order to acheive the solution i have customized the tax related condition type functionality "pricing date" as KOMP-ERDAT but still system calcualting the taxes based on the service rendered date and same also writing in the invoice also.
pLease help me out what need to be configured here to acheive the solution.
    Regards,
    Ram.

    Hello XYZ,
As you said the tax is calculated in Taxware system, i think taxware system is configured to calculate the taxes based on the "service rendered date". That is the reason why even you have changed the pricing date to be billing date for condition type XR1 taxware is not behaving as you expected.
      You have two options.
    1. Invocie creation date/ blling date is available in the structure "TAX_CAL_ITEM_IN00".If it is available in the structure ask the Taxware team to make changes in their system to consider that field value instead of the service rendered date.
    2. Alternatively you can over write the filed which contains the service rendered date value with the value of billing date. This way no changes required in Taxware system. You can do that in cusotmer exit  "EXIT_SAPLFYTX_USER_001" include ZXFYTU03 .
Based on my exeperince i think the consistant approach would be going with option 1 . Please revert if you need furhter information on the same

  • Tax condition value not getting posted with retroactive billing

    Hi All
Due to price reduction from previous date, I am processing retro billing for billing documents. For target credit memo to be created, i have maintained the pricing procedure with condition type PDIF. Now when i create the credit memo with tcode VFRB, it only considers pr00 condition value for posting the difference with PDIF. Tax condition value is not being considered here.
Are there any other changes required to make in pricing procedure?
Please let me know the method to fix the same.
    Thanks
    Deepak Mehmi

    Hello
For this I can think of one solution, where
    1. you have to create a new pricing pricing for retroactive billing.
    2. in that pricing procedure don't assign any account key to base price condition type, where as maintain a revenue account key for PDIF condition type.
    3. calculated tax condition types based on PDIF instead of base price condition type, do have relevant account keys for account determination of those tax condition types.
I hope this can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • How to Create MM Quotaion with Pricing Conditions against RFQ through ME47?

    Hi,
I got a requirement to Create MM Quotation against Request for Quotation with Pricing.
I got a Function Module BS01_MM_QUOTATION_CREATE to Create Quotaion but there is no Parameter to Pass Pricing Conditions.
Can anyone suggest me to Create MM Quotaion with Pricing Conditions.
    Thanks & Regards,
    SBLSV Ramana.

    Hi,
There is no standard T Code in SAP which allows you to automatically convert RFQs to PO. Using ME59n you can only create POs from PR. Even Document type would not suffice the purpose because although it will show you the list of all document types but the basic criteria of open PR still remains.
So I think we will not be able to do it by standard functionality.

  • Pricing on PO - Condition type with formula

    Dear friends,
I've one condition type with calculation type (KRECH) set as Formula.
For the calcutation of this condition I need to set this formula: Value = (Gross Price + Freight) * 0,0035
Can you please tell me how can I se this condition as required?
    Thanks in advance,
    Afonso Pereira

    Hi
I have never tried this calculation type - G formula,
But in the pricing procedure config, there is a field Caclulation type whcih is used as Alternate calculation type.
You can createa new routine ( nothing but a logic based formula) for caclutaion and assign that to the new condition type.
This will ensure that if your gross price condition and freight are present then this condition type gets automatically calculated and get populated in the PO conditions.
For routine creation you need to take help of Abaper.
Routines are craeted in transaction VOFM
    Thanks & Regards

  • Pricing condition type with print option

I have a special requirement.  Printing option "b" maintained for condition type in pricing procedure.  Example ZR00.  For some customers this should not print and should allow only for specific customers.
    Any clue will appreciated.
    Please don't send the links.
    Suddu

    hi,
is it that those conditons that are printed are only applicable to a particular customer.
    or
though a conditoin is applicable but still you dont want to show.
However my observation is, it requires some enhancement of Z table kind of thing. Reason is a discount which needs to be printed today may not be required tomorrow to be printed or the other way round. It depends on the customers business nature with your client. In such case it has to be part of master data where the enduser should have an option to make the necessary entries from time to time.
If we hard code in the print program initially it can work. It will check the customer and print only those discounts but tomorrow if there is a change we have move a request to the print program again which is not the right approach.
    regards

    Hi,
Solution for this is very simple. Don't make any changes to the sales order user exit. Use condition exclusion  for the condition type.
Do customization in the following path of IMG
Sales and distribution---- > Basic Functions--- > Pricing--
    > Condition exclusion -- > Condition exclusion for groups of conditions
First  In Define condition exclusion groups you have to define condition exclusion group (ZXXX)
Then  in Assign condition types to the exclusion groups you have to assign condition type to the exclusion group (ZXXX   ZPRO)
Then in Maintain Condition exclusion for pricing procedures select the pricing procedure where you have the problem and click Exclusion box present in Dialog structure box
You will be faced with Change view exclusion overview screen Click new entries
You will be faced with New entries overview of added entries screen.
Take serial no as 10 Condition exclusion procedure  as B (Best condition with in condition type) In the exclusion group1 add the exclusion group ZXXX.
    Save it and create order.
In the order pricing you will again observe that ZPRO appearing twice but only one will be active.
Changing user exit for this issue is not at all required and it must be only the last resort Try replicating the issue in your sand box system. As I had mentioned it will be picked twice but only one will be active.
    Hope this helps.
