Tax value calculation

Hi Experts,
We are transfering goods between two plants using stock transport order. Both these plants are relevant to Excise duty. So when posting a Goods receipt, the taxes value is getting updated. But there is miss in this tax value for some of the Stock transport orders created for these same plants. Its uncertain that, it is updating sometimes and other times not. Kindly let me know how the tax values are getting determined?

  • Conditions in Purchase Order - No scroll bar/Sales Tax value not in mmr

    Hello,
I am stuck in a weird problem where I have created a Condition Calculation Schema, assigned it to Schema group and assigned that schema to vendor, but when i open my condition in the PO, it does not give me scroll bar i.e. I have calculation Schema with around 10+ conditions, but when I try to put all the conditions in PO at one time, the scroll bar doesnot come up and without it, I cannot view all my conditions in the PO. Its saving the conditions though as seen in report, but cannot display it in PO without the scroll bar. Any ideas?
Another assignment is that sales tax value and % should not increase the mmr value at time of GR, but when I do GR its adding the sales tax value to mmr value, my requirement is just Gross price be added to mmr, not sales tax value/%. I tried the Statistical checks in Calculation Schema, but to no vail, at GR the sales tax value is being added to the mmr record. Any ideas?
Lots of points awarded for answer/answers.
    Any clue will help
    Thank you/Afshad

Q Another assignment is that sales tax value and % should not increase the mmr value at time of GR.
    Ans:
    Dear Afshad,
Reference to your question, you need to do few settings in your Condition Type and Pricing Schema, if you need Sales Tax value & % not to include in your Material value.
1 - In SPRO, Check that in your condition type, Control data 2 tab, Accruals check box should not be selected.
2 - In your Calculation Schema, against your condition types for Sales Tax % and Sales Tax Value, select the check box for Manual & Statistics.
3 - Also in your Calculation Schema, you should not select any account key in AccKey (Account Key) and in Accruals colomns.
If any one of these setting is not defined, the valuation price for your material will be increased due to the fact that your settings for Condition type and Calculation Schema is allowing the same to hit the value of your material directly.
    Hope it works for you.

  • Unable to get the tax value in Sales order

    Hi Forum,
I am preparing a sales order for a customer with a material.
When I go to the item conditions tab, I see that the correct tax value is being calculated but that tax value is not appearing in the TAX field.
Net value is appearing correctly in the NET field.
Please help me which are the areas of concerns i should look for to get the tax amount in the TAX field.
    Many thanks.
    Regards,
    Sheetal

    Dear Sheetal
Go to V/06, select the tax condition type and execute.  There check whether you have maintained "Condition Class" as D.   If not, maintain D and then retry.

  • Taxes not calculation in PO

    Hi,
    We have scenario like this
    Currently we are using 4 tax codes with different combination like V1- Excise + L-VAT 4%, V2- Nil Excise+4% L-VAT, V3 u2013 Excise + C-VAT 12.5% & V4 u2013 Nil Excise+ C-VAT 12.5% Here 4% VAT is local VAT within state & C u2013VAT other state.
We are using TAXINN procedure I know in this procedure values are not depending on tax code what we maintain in PO. But it will fetch taxes from condition what we maintain in FV11.My actual issue  popping here is when we had created another tax code and maintaining the condition in FV11 with key combination of Material/Plant/Vendor it is not populating in PO when if click tax tab, but when if I change tax code it is showing value with this calculation it is ok and entire cycle is completed successfully but my concern here, it is triggering same GL but we want it to hit different GL as per configuration in OB40 with relevant  account key and combination of tax code and GL  which is the reason we had created separate tax code. What would be reason?
    Regards

    HI,
Check whether you have maintained the rates for the new tax code in FV11 also whether you have assigned the tax code to the company code ?
Compare the tax code which is working in PO with the one which is not & find out if there is any difference.
If you want to post the tax values to the new G/L in OB40 then maintain the same settings for the tax code which is working in PO.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Config of Group assets - Tax Depreciation Calculation : India

    Dear Seniors,
can you please explain the configuration of the Group assets and how exactly the tax depreciation calculation in India happens for the individual assets with scheme of entries.
    Thanks and Regards
    Sathish

    Hi,
In India, depreciation on assets for the purpose of computation of net income as per the Income Tax (IT) Act 1961 is calculated over a block of assets instead of individual assets as allowed under the Companies Act 1956. Asset acquisitions and retirements are managed over the block level. The IT Act prescribes certain rates of depreciation to be used under the Written down Value (WDV) method over these asset blocks to compute depreciation.
The following are the customization settings that may be followed in the R/3 system in order to manage your assets in the income tax depreciation area.
    1. Copy the standard chart of depreciation 0IN as provided by SAP and create your own chart of depreciation.
    2. Use the depreciation area 15 for the purpose of management of assets under the IT Act. Make it statistical in nature. (Reference Transaction Code: OADB). Do not check the box negative net book value.
    3. Specify that the Income Tax depreciation area takes over the APC from the book but not make it identical (Reference Transaction Code: OABC).
    4. Create an asset class for the purpose of income tax blocks. This asset class will be used to create only group assets. (Reference Transaction Code:  OAOA)
    5. Specify that the depreciation area for income tax can be managed only for group assets. (Reference Transaction Code: OAYM). This would mean that depreciation for this depreciation area would be computed only at group asset level.
    6. Specify that the asset class defined in (b) above will be used for creating group assets only. (Reference Transaction Code: OAAX)
    7. Two period control methods (IT and NL) have been defined in the system for determination of start or the end of depreciation calculation at the time of a fixed asset acquisition or retirement. You may use these period control methods while creating the depreciation keys for the purpose of IT depreciation.
Calendar assignments have been made for the above mentioned period control methods in order to reflect valuation requirements as per the Income Tax Act (Transaction Code: OAVH). You may create your own period control methods depending on the fiscal year variant you use. The period control methods supplied are based on the fiscal year variant V3.
    8. Depreciation Keys: The following depreciation keys have been created in the system. They correspond to the income tax blocks that are prescribed under Indian tax laws. They are as below:
    Depreciation Keys:
    1. IN1 - Tax Depreciation - 5% -
I Hope it will give you some basic guidance.

  • Tax Data calculation using BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT_POST

    Hi,
We are creating invoices using BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT_POST. However Tax is not getting calculated for the line items even if we pass the tax data through the field u201CTAX_CODEu201D in the table u201CACCOUNTGLu201D. The Tax value is to be updated in table BSEG and BSET, which is not happening after the IDOC posting. Please advice whether we need to pass the parameter (table) u201CACCOUNTTAXu201D (with data filled) in order to calculate the tax for the line items.
We are passing the following parameters presently and IDOCS are getting posted successfully even though tax amounts are not getting calculated.

  • Tax not Calculated on Activity created through Service master

    Hi;
For different TAX values on Multiple line items in P.O, i am using Service Master to Create an Activity, and call that activity in my Service entry sheet.
Now When Service entry sheet (P.R) is adopted in P.O it doesn't calculate tax.
Any valuable information on this would be highly appreciated.
    Regards.

    Hi,
In the purchase order the taxes are calcuated at item level. In the
service entry sheet the taxes are calculated at service level.
The non-deductible input taxes both in the purchase order and on the
service entry sheet serve for the commitments structure and for
    information.
The tax actually paid with the invoice is later more precisely
redetermined by the invoice verification in the system.
You can set the Customizing alternatively that the
taxes are calculated at service level instead of at item level. This
setting is particularly useful if different services of an item are to
be taxed differently as it is the rule in countries with
jurisdiction-dependent taxes.  Please check your settings in transaction ML100.
In this connection, refer to Notes 498878, 495316 and 371595.

  • Accessing the tax value of a marketing document row before it is written to

I am creating sales invoices using the DI and I need to check the valu of the tax as calculated by the system so that I can compare it to the value supplied on the data provided and check for rounding errors.
My problem is that none of the fields in document lines that hold the value of tax e.g. priceaftervat, nettaxamount seem to be updated before the record is written. It looks like the value is calculated as the record is written.
Does anyone know if this is the case or am I missing something?
    Regards
    Gordon

Yes, this is the case. If you want to check it before adding, create invoice draft first, then with getbykey load it to document object, check the values you want and if is everything ok, create invoice from the draft.

  • PO tax value is not added in net price

    Hi
In PO tax value is not added in Net price .
In the pricing elements it is showing the total value .
But in the field of net value , it is not calculating the net value and so it is showing in the PO print out.
    Kindly advise.
    regards,

    Hi Sandeep,
In case u want to print the net value with the tax u have to make the value as print relevant in the pricing procedure .
And also u need to store this value in the field from  where the net price is printed and again this can be done in the pricing procedure.
Hope this will help you .
Please reward points for useful answer.

  • TAX value is not triggerring in JVCD, JVRN(VAT non deductible)

    Hi All,
Tax values are not triggering in JVCD, JVRN even though the non deductible key NVV assigned to it, and but in OB40 NVV key is not there, and calculation type 371 is assigned to it in taxinn procedure
kindly suggest me the possible reasons..
    regards,
    sanju

    Hi,
For VAT ,not required to have  calculation type 371 to assigned  in tax procedure for VAT condition types  JVCD, JVRN.
As VAT to be inventorised, then assignment of  "NVV" acounting key in tax procedure is correct. If  VAT treat as offsetting entry, then need to have an  accounting key (  accounting key can be created in  OBCN) & assigned to VAT condition types  JVCD, JVRN and then assign  G/L account to  accounting key  in OB40.
NOTE: But why you have two  condition types  JVCD, JVRN for VAT  inventorised,(non deductible)

  • Problems while saving the tax values in a Draft Document to AP Invoice

    Hi All
I have an interface .net where I use a DIAPI to enter values in B1 2007 B (8.60.039) PL 15.
    I have the following cases:
    First case
    - I create a document type oPurchaseInvoices, where I set the tax values for IRPF, INSS, ISSQN (Brazil).
When i execute the code that inserts this A/P Invoice in SAP, it works perfectly, including by setting the values of the taxes correctly.
    Second case
    - I create a document type oDrafts, and say that this draft is the type oPurchaseInvoices.
After that I follow the same steps to launch a note entry, laying the tax values(IRPF, INSS, ISSQN) and everything else.
When i execute the code that inserts this values in the draft, the tax values are not entered and that everything else works perfectly.
You can tell me whether the taxes really are not inserted when I issue a draft or I'm leaving to score some parameter.
I am in the look of your response

  • Tax value Zero in Sales order header

    Dear All
I am testing a scenario in my development server. I added a new discount condition in pricing procedure and created new sales order DO and invoice. System allowed me to create  all these documents but there was a problem when i tried to post to FI with VF02. System gave me error "Tax statement item missing for tax code Y4". I have checked all Tax conditions, condition records and condition type settings and everything was fine. For testing purpose I deleted the whole pricing procedure and copied it from PRD. Now there is another problem that when i create sale order system is not calculating the tax amount. All tax conditions and records are flowing but in line item header there is only Net value. Tax value is 00.
I know i am describing two problems but i think these are interlinked with each other.
Any suggestions why system is not calculating tax price and showing it in line item tax value?

  • Considering Stats. cond. type value in Net value calculation

    Hi All,
    In my pricing procedure
    Basic price = 100
Cash disc =10            Stastical(I dont want to post in any GL acc.)
Net value = 100 (Because system is not considreing 10 Rs when calculating net value because it is stats. con.)
Can any body tell me the provision by which the sytem consider stas cond. type when calculating Net value.
    help me
    Sunil

yes, i dont want to post into GL acc. but reduce in the net value.
    This is my client requirement.
Because the tax is calculated on the net value(reducing Cash dis.) but they dont want to maintain any recird for that cash discount.
    thanks
