Tcode to find about data targets

Hi all,
Do we have any tcode which lists the cubes, ods and info objects and tell us how frequently each of them gets loaded and what is the space occupied by each of the objects.

Use Tcode DB02->detail analysis >>type the infocube name or ods name..........To analyze the space occupied.......
Use program : SAP_INFOCUBE_DESIGNS............to count size in records for infocube you can use

Choose your infopackage which holds the data targets, in the Infopackage screen reach the Scheduler tab and you will find the where-Used list. This will let you know the particular process chain responsible.

InfoSpoke Data Target Name

Hello,
I searched the forums but I could not find the info I am looking for. Actually there is not much info about InfoSpokes. My questions is; how can I find the data target on which infospoke is running (if I have infospoke name how can I find the data target name?)? Or vice versa (if I have data target name how can I find the infospokes that are extracting data from that data target?). Is there any t-code for this?

InfoSpoke
The central object for the data export is the InfoSpoke.
The InfoSpoke defines the following:
●     The open hub data source from which the data is extracted
●     The extraction mode
●     The open hub destination into which the data is delivered.
In addition, you can select which selection of data is extracted from which InfoProvider. The selection ensures that a destination can be provided with data from the same InfoProvider at different times using a delta. As long as extraction has not yet taken place in delta mode, the selection set is freely configurable. Once it has, this no longer applies.
Open Hub Data Source
BI objects such as InfoCubes, DataStore objects, MultiProviders or InfoObjects (attributes or texts) can function as open hub data sources. If you use an InfoCube with non-cumulative key figures as a data source, refer to the note regarding the settings on the Selection tab page in Creating InfoSpokes.
Extraction Mode
An InfoSpoke can extract data in two ways: in full mode (F) and in delta mode (D). See InfoSpoke Extraction Mode.
Open Hub Destination
Database tables (from the database in the BI system) and flat files (CSV) can act as open hub destinations. See Database Tables As Destinations and Files As Destinations. You can extract the data from a database to a non-SAP system using APIs with a third-party tool. See Third-Party Tools As Destinations.
The open hub destination contains all the information about the target system for the InfoProvider data: type of destination, name of the flat file or database table. It also contains a logical target system. The logical target system is used to structure the individual open hub destinations in the open hub monitor. The open hub monitor groups the requests according to logical target system, open hub destination and InfoSpoke. By specifying a logical target system, you get a better overview of the individual open hub requests.

Debuging mapping - error : Could not find test data for target operators ?

Hello, Please help me.
I use Oracle Warehouse Builder 10gR2.
I created a cube with two dimensions.
I debugged the mappings of these two dimensions then viewed their data after deployment.
I tried to debug the mapping of the cube, and got the error: Could not find test data for all source and target operators.
For source objects exist test data but for the target operator (cube_out) logically we do not need test data !!!! .
But the error is here: Could not find test data for target operators. Why ??
How to configure or explain to owb that the target operator do not have test data ????

I explain you in detail : I work in ROLAP.
I have two dimensions : DIM_1 and DIM_2 linked with the cube (Fact_table).
I have three mappings : MAP_DIM1, MAP_DIM2, MAP_CUBE.
For the MAP_CUBE, I have source operator : VIEW_IN and Target operator : CUBE_OUT.
I could see the data dimensions : DIM_1 and DIM_2 after debugging and Deployment in the OLAP schema.
I tried debugged the mapping: MAP_CUBE so I got the error: Could not find test data for all source and target operators.*

in data mart staus cube, ods behaves like sources.means whenever u want to load data from one data target to oher, then v ll get dm staus.its my self bw system.
ODS:
whenever u create update rules on ods, ods technical name will be prefixed with 8,
means its ready to behave like source to other targets.
CUBE;
in case of cube its different, manually we have to make it as source, by right click on cube, click on export generate data source,now the update rules name ll be
8 followed by cube name.
u can check the data mart staus in manage data target screen, in request tab page..u ll find one column dm staus.

Activating DemoContent: Error when reading data target

I'm trying to activate the SAP Demo cube Purchasing Data (0D_PU_C01). The Grouping Mode is set to In Dataflow Before and Afterwards.
When I simulate installation, I get the error message Error when reading data target 0D_PU_C01 (Message no. RSAU126) in the logs (although in the Collection Area the Simulation Result column is marked with a green check).
I could find only 2 notes related to this error in the SAP Service Marketplace. SAP note nr. 540873 is about the BW indexing job. Note nr. 587796 (Error in after import of update rules) seams more appropriate, however not thoroughly right. In fact it refers to BW 3.1 Content or BW 3.0B.
My system version instead is:
BI_CONT 353
SAP_BW 350
The very same problem occurs when I try to activate the SAP Demo Sales and Distribution.
Any suggestion?

Ok, it worked! Now however I have some more doubts.
1. I can't find the InfoObjects (e.g. 0D_GR_QTY, 0D_PLANT, 0D_MATERIAL, etc.) anywhere in Modeling -> InfoObjects, even if:
a) I can find them under the InfoSource tree of the SAP Demo Application Component
b) they appear activated in Business Content
What's going on?
2. The newly activated Purchasing Data cube has been added to the Unassigned Nodes InfoArea, and not to a newly created SAP Demo Purchasing (0D_MMPUR) InfoArea, similarly to the structure I saw when collecting the InfoProvider in Business Content. Is this the normal behaviour?
3. No DataSource has been assigned to any of the InfoSources. I read at:

that the SAP Demo Source System will be used. What I can't understand is if I need to manually create and select this Source System. Error in infoobject used as a data target?.

hai all,
i created one characteristic and i used it as a data target.while i uploading the data in to this infoobject it is showing some error,it is showing that all records are transferred but the request is still in red color.the error message is shown below:

Hi,
I think you are facing an invalid character issue.
This issue can be resolved by correcting the error records in PSA and updating it into the target. For that the first step should be to identify if all the records are there in PSA. You can find out this from checking the Details tab in RSMO, Job log , PSA > sorting records based on status,etc. Once its confirmed force the request to red and delete the particular request from the target cube. Then go to PSA and edit the incorrect records (correcting or blanking out the invalid entries for particular field InfoObject for the incorrect record) and save it. Once all the incorrect records are edited go to RSA1>PSA find the particular request and update to target manually (right click on PSA request > Start update immediately).
I will add the step by step procedure to edit PSA data and update into target (request based).
Steps
1. Force the request to red in RSMO > Status tab.
2. Delete the request from target.
3. Come to RSMO > top right you can see PSA maintenace button > click and go to PSA .
4.Edit the record
5. Save PSA data.
6. Got to RSA15 > Search by request name > Right click > update the request from PSA to target.
This should solve your problem for now.
As a long term you can apply some user exit in source system side or change your update rules to ensure that this field is getting blanked out before getting loaded in BW or add that particular achr to permitted character list in BW (Run TCODE RSKC
Input the <character> and execute the program) This will add <character> to the allowed characters list.
OR
RSKC --> type ALL_CAPITAL --> F8 (Execute)
OR
Run the report RS_ERRORLOG_EXAMPLE,By this report you can display all incorrected records of the data & you can also find whether the error occured in PSA or in TRANSFER RULES.
OR
Go to SE38 and execute the program RSKC_ALLOWED_CHAR_MAINTAIN.
Changing in source system is an option but usually its not permitted.

Dml data target type forms property

Hi all
I have come accross a form that is causing our users many problems with locked records.
The form has about 15 blocks based on 15 tables.
One of which i managed to find out is causing the locking issues. I have notcied that this table is not needed in terms of update/insert merely used for querying.
at the moment the block settings that are used are
update/insert set to no.
query source type = TABLE
query source name = mytablename
dml data target type = TABLE
dml target name = null
If i amend the dml data target type to none will this make it in affect a query only table?
Does this affect anything else as we use this table as the top level in the relationship of other tables that will need to update/insert. But at no time will the table this blcok is based on ever update.

If there is no insert/update allowed in the block and you do no "programmatic" change of values, then there should happen no locking. You could check if a lock is applied by creating an ON-LOCK-trigger at that block and popping up a message from it.
If the ON-LOCK fires there is some cause in the code which forces the record to be marked as changed.
A first guess: Is there probably some POST-QUERY-trigger at the block or POST-CHANGE-trigger at some items which populate non-DB-Items?

APD, filename for file data target

Hello,
i am designing a APD process with a file as process target.
I can hardcode the file path and name in the data target properties, however i would rather set the filename by user input or by a abap routine (eg. include the date of APD execution in the file name). Is that possible?

Hi,
You can use the option 'Logical File Name' option to create a dyanmic file name.
You can define a Logical File Name in tcode 'FILE', where you can append system date, time, varaible to a static file name.

Can't find my data from Time Machine network backup

Migration assistant shows inconsistent sizes for applications, computer settings and other files/folders, about 30GB when I had 270 GB only in pictures.
I did a clean Mavericks install.
How do I find my data from the TimeMachine network backup?
The size of the TimeMachine backup is consistent with what I had before ( >300 GB)...so how do I recover it?.
I'm using a new user account name in the clean installation.

Read a few threads about this being a problem with account access, so I renamed the account in my new installation to the account name used to create the backup and found the old accounts....now when trying to proceed it told me there was a conflict with the account name and i had to use a different one!!.
Apple has stopped to be simple...
So how are we suppose to use the migration assistant if either way there is a problem? ( using same or different account name )...

Process Chain : Read PSA and Update Data Target in BI 7.0

Hello Experts,
In my Process Chain I have a variant Execute Infopackage to load the data only into PSA. then I have next variant as *Read PSA and Update Data Target*. my data target was a Master Data table Hierarchy
In the variant " Read PSA and Update Data Target". the selection Parameters were
PSA.Table : 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA1
Selection Object Type : same Infopackage in Varaint Execute Infopackage
the Error message was Variant doesnot contain a valid combination request/data target
I checked the PSA-Table using RSA1OLD Transaction then I find four PSA Tables:
0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA1
0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA2
0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA3
0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA4
All the requests are linked to PSA Table *0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA4*.
I can't understand why there exists four PSA Tables?
I try to link the PSA-table 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA4 in the variant *Read PSA and Update Data Target and try to save it it raises short dump.
If I select 0GLACCEXT_T011_HIER_BA1 in the varaint I shouldn't face any problems.?
but the process chain raises an Error message Variant doesnot contain a valid combination request/data target with this variant.
How shall I handle this issue?
Please carify me the issues as soon as possible.

Hello,
In the Variant Read PSA and Update Data Target I have to select the PSA Tabelle Name from the preselection list in the System it shows me all the four PSA Tables that I mentioned.
I can select any one of them. So I trieed with all the four PSA Tables in the list but I can selct only the XXXX......BA1 table then only I can save and include it in the PC. If I select the remaining tables BA2, BA3, BA4.........while I try to save the Variant it raises short dump.
I checked the PSA using the Transaction RSA1OLD under PSA...... I find 4 PSA Tables( I don't know whether they are PSA Tables or not but in the Variant it states that they are PSA Tables) in which all the requests are attached to BA4. only.
I observed that ony for Hierarchies I find four PSA tables for remaining one only one PSA table was available.
I totally confused how to handle this situation. any suggestions......... please help me to resolve this problem.
