TCP/IP portrange for local Debugging

How can I restrict the TCP/IP ports used to connect from the server to the client when locally debugging with JDeveloper 10g?
I'm talking about this command (executed by JDeveloper):
call dbms_debug_jdwp.connect_tcp(ip-address, port)
Thanks.

The implementation of the Blackfin target is partially located in "plug-in" VIs that you can access. Open "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.1 Embedded\resource\LabVIEW Targets\Embedded\vdk\vdk_LEP_TargetPlugin\LEP_vdk_ScriptCompiler.vi". You can see in the attached screenshot where this plugin VI determines the IP of the host PC and concatenates it in as a compiler flag. You can modify this LabVIEW code to hard-code that IP if you have multiple IP addresses, or even add functionality to programmatically get the correct IP address!

  • How to start listener in sql developer for remote debug

how to start listener in sql developer for remote debug ? Since the new version 1.1.0.23 is different with the old version for remote debug, I don't know how to start the listener on the new version for remote debug.
even follow the user guide below and not work . Experts on sql developer please help me with this.
    Remote Debugging
To debug a procedure or function for a connection where the database is on a different host than the one on which you are
running SQL Developer, you can perform remote debugging.
Remote debugging involves many of the steps as for local debugging; however, do the
following before you start the remote debugging: Use an Oracle client such as SQL*Plus to issue the debugger connection command. Whatever
client you use, make sure that the session which issues the debugger connection commands is the same session which executes your PL/SQL
    program containing the breakpoints.
For example, if the name of the remote system is remote1, use the following SQL*Plus command to open a
TCP/IP connection to that system and the port for the JDWP session:
EXEC DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP.CONNECT_TCP('remote1', '4000'); The first parameter
is the IP address or host name of the remote system, and the second parameter is the port number on that remote system on which the debugger
    is listening.
Right-click the connection for the remote database, select Remote Debug, and complete the information in the Debugger - Attach
to JPDA dialog box. Then, follow the steps that you would for local debugging (for example, see Debugging a PL/SQL Procedure).
Debugger - Attach to JPDA This dialog box is displayed when you right-click a database connection name and select Remote Debug.
    Use this
dialog box if you are using the Sun Microsystem's Java Platform Debugger Architecture (JPDA) and you would like the debugger to listen so
that a debuggee can attach to the debugger.
For more information about remote debugging, see Remote Debugging.
Host: Name or IP address of
the remote host on which SQL Developer should listen for the database to connect.
Port: Listening port number on the remote host. You can
choose any valid port number that is not in use by another process.
Timeout: The number of seconds that SQL Developer will wait for the
remote database to make a debugging connection. Don't Show Dialog Box Before Connecting: If this option is checked, this dialog box will not
be displayed before future connections for remote debugging

    You're not the only one:
Not able to start remote debug listener

  • SipServer - Message Debug: Check box for Local logging enabled is unchecked

I have configured a SipServer in my domain. The Administration Console for WebLogic Server shows an option for 'Local logging enabled' for logging sip-messages.
See SipServer > Configuration > Message Debug.
However, when I check this option, the option is ot stored in the config file sipserver.xml, so at a subsequent start up of the Console, the option is unchecked again.
When I run sip traffic, sip messages are logged in the log file (sip-messages.log), but I am not sure whether this includes the local logging or not.
    Version info:
The login screen sais: WebLogic Server 11g.
After login, at the bottom of each window, it sais: WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.3.0
Is this a bug? Is it solved in some newer version?
How can I see in my log file whether local logging is done or not?

    Manu,
Maybe it has something to do with it. But what shoudl I do exactly?
So Yes I am disabling all the items except one checkbox say X in TAB D initially in the when new form instance. Now checkbox X when I click it , it enables checkbox A, B and C and when I unclick it it sets all the values in A, B and C to unchecked and disables the A, B and C checkboxes.
It sounds simple concept so this works great if I don't issue a COMMIT_FORM which is in my save button but if in the middle say tab A I save the from and it has COMMIT_FORM I get record saved. Then I navigate to D TAB and there checkbox X I am still able to click it but when I try to check A, B or C I am not allowed to check or uncheck it....Should I code update_allowed property explicity for A, B and C there in the when checkbox changed of checkbox x? Why would I have to do this even though I am enabling those items ? I am confusued....

  • Is there a way to force Local Debug

    Hi,
I can't debug on any oracle 9i server, having this issue :
Executing PL/SQL: ALTER SESSION SET PLSQL_DEBUG=TRUE
Executing PL/SQL: ALTER SESSION SET PLSQL_COMPILER_FLAGS=INTERPRETED
    Executing PL/SQL: CALL DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP.CONNECT_TCP( '127.0.0.1', '4000' )
ORA-30683: failure establishing connection to debugger
    ORA-12541: TNS:no listener
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_DEBUG_JDWP", line 68
    ORA-06512: at line 1
The reason is, I guess, because the Oracle server can't access my computer because there is a firewall between them that I can't remove ...
But, I also use some Oracle 8i db, behind the same firewall, and these work great !
It seems that SQL developper do some local debug on oracle 8i, and some remote debug on oracle 9i.
Is there a way to force local debug on Oracle 9i db from sql developper ? (it should be possible, because TOAD debug works perfectly, so I guess it's using local debug)
    Thanks !

    Thanks
    but I already tried that
It seems I need to provide my IP address, so that the server can access my computer.
But even if I provide it, it's impossible for the server to access my computer because there is a firewall between us that I can't remove ...
There's no way for me to do some remote debug ..
That's why I'd like to do some local debug ...

  • Error: Could not find compiled resource bundle 'components' for locale 'en_US'

We are porting a fairly large body of Flex3 code developed under FlexBuilder 3 to Flex4 under FlashBuilder 4.  Most of the conversion appears to be working fine, with one exception.  When I launch the Flex4 version, all my data interchanges with the server works.  Just as it is about to show the UI, the following error occurs:
Error: Could not find compiled resource bundle 'components' for locale 'en_US'
I am actually using a locale of fr_FR, but I assume it couldn't find that, reverted to en_US, failed again and then barfed.  If I look in
         ~Adobe Flash Builder 4\sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\locale\fr_FR
I see a lot of swc files, and of course no 'components.swc'.  I believe the problem is that our Flex3 code is using mx components, and the compatibility mode is not properly handling it for some reason.  I think this is mostly from our in-house UI library.  The properties for that library (and for my main app I am testing now) have:
         - Use default SDK (currently "Flex 4.0")
         - Use Flex 3 compability mode
         - Use minimum version (Flash Player) required by the Flex SDK
         - Enable strict type checking
         - Enable warnings
I also tried putting the compatibility flag in the mxmlc compile line, with no change in behavior.  This project is built by the following script:
    ruby scripts/concat_properties.rb -o resources.properties ^
         src/main/flex/locale/fr_common/res_myname_fr_common.properties ^
         src/main/flex/locale/fr_common/scout/res_myname_scout_fr_common.properties ^
         src/main/flex/locale/fr_fr/res_myname_fr_fr.properties ^
         ../../scout/common/src/locale/fr_common/mypals/resources.properties
    mxmlc -locale=fr_FR -source-path=. ^
         -compatibility-version=3.0.0. ^
         -static-rsls=true ^
         -include-resource-bundles=resources ^
         -output src/main/resources/bundles/mypals/fr_fr_resources.swf
    copy src\main\resources\bundles\mypals\fr_fr_resources.swf ^
         bin-debug\bundles\mypals
    What have I missed???

You have two posts. I will try to answer each completely.  Second one first. You say I should change my build to include the framework resources.  I am afraid I am not sure which and what to do there.  We combine all our properties file into one large one, then use the following build line:
    mxmlc -locale=fr_FR,en_US -source-path=. ^
         -compatibility-version=3.0.0. ^
         -static-rsls=true ^
         -include-resource-bundles=resources ^
         -output src/main/resources/bundles/mypals/fr_fr_resources.swf
I am assuming you are telling me to change the "-include-resource-bundles" line, but what to add?  The "sdks\4.0.0\frameworks\locale\en_US" holds 13 swf files.  I tried adding that entire folder (along with the fr_FR folder) to the project library path (in the project properties dialog), but that made no change.  I also tried reverting the library path tab back to "MX Only" instead of "MX + Spark", but again no change.
    ====================
For your first message, I did a search for 'spark' in the entire project.  It only existed on 3 lines, each at the start of css files:
        @namespace s "library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark";
I had put those in based on reading needed changes to naming in CSS.  Since I was not actually using any spark ('s') components yet, I removed these lines.  The entire project now does not have the word 'spark' anywhere in it. No change in behavior (as I expected).
I did a search for "s:" throughout the project.  That does exist in probably 100 places, but all are legitimate. Things like (xmlns:mx="http://www.adobe.com/2006/mxml") or variable names ("var matches:Object").  No reference to any s: object.  (While on the topic, why does FlashBuilder still not have a "whole word" box to limit searches??).
Note that when I first reported this problem, the compiler was set to ONLY support fr_FR.  In fighting this, I changed it to "en_US,fr_FR" hoping that would tell the compiler to load whatever en_US items it was looking for.  We really do not want any English support in this version. (We do have another SWF created with only support for en_US, and another for en_UK, etc.  Each language is a separate node on our server, so there is no need to mix & match at runtime)
The console shows a lot of swf loads that I do not understand...
The console output shows (my comments after ==> indicator)

  • Lion Server DNS service not working for locally created zones. Caching working fine.

OS Lion Server DNS service not working for local zones. Was fine under Snow leopard server but Lion server upgrade has severely broken my DNS and web sites. Zones look fine under Server Admin but keep getting "query failed (SERVFAIL) for xxxx at /SourceCache/bind9/bind9-42/bind9/bin/named/query.c:3921" in the logs. BTW - Server Admin cant seem to see the log file either.
Surely someone actually tested that DNS still worked on Lion?

I upgraded from Snow Leopard Server to Lion Server on day 01.  I hit the same issue where, after the upgrade, my Lion Server stopped serving names for my private local domain.
I finally took a few minutes to figure out what was wrong.  After turning on debug logging and looking through the logs, I found my particular issue, now resolved.
The issue I had was, when the domain initially was setup when I installed Snow Leopard Server, for some reason it created a zone just for the server (in my case, something like zone "s-01.mydomain.priv"), and a separate zone for all the other machines (zone "mydomain.priv", containing all the private IPs for my local domain).  I never messed with it because it worked, but generally I would have put all of them in the same zone.
My zone "mydomain.priv" had a nameserver and mail exchanger entry for my server, s-01.mydomain.priv.  I could see this in the Server Admin app on the DNS bubble, Zones tab, mydomain.priv selected, and the General Info panel.  This was fine in Snow Leopard.  This was failing the zone load in the updated bind for Lion Server, though.  The issue was that the "mydomain.priv" zone was referencing the s-01.mydomain.priv server, which was not defined in the "mydomain.priv" zone but rather in the "s-01.mydomain.priv" zone.
    My fix:
    1. In Server Admin, add the server to the zone "mydomain.priv".  I put an A record (Add Machine) in the "mydomain.priv" zone for my server named s-01.mydomain.priv.
    2. shut down DNS on the OS X Lion Server (hit the Stop DNS button on Server Admin).
    3. edit /etc/named.conf by hand, removing the specialized zones that contianed just the server.  In this case, it would be the section titled 'zone "s-01.mydomain.priv"' and the section titled 'zone "3.10.1.10.in-addr.arpa"'.  Your in-addr.arpa zone name will change based on whatever your server IP address was.  My internal one happened to have s-01.mydomain.priv mapped to 10.1.10.3.
    4. Once the specialized zones for just the server were removed, I started the DNS up again.  Instead of serving four zones as it had in OS X Snow Leopard Server, it now servers two zones.  And, now, it is resolving my local machines for the mydomain.priv zone.
YMMV.  I did note that it wasn't totally necessary to do step 3, but I never really understood the need for the specialized domain, and keeping it around would have a copy of data that would just confuse things.
Hope that helps.  That's been the only hiccup I've noticed updating to OS X Lion Server thus far.

  • Sophos Firewall blocking local debugging on VS 2013

Sophos Firewall is blocking local debugging on VS 2013. Unfortunately the firewall log isn't saying much about what is being blocked. The article below says uninstalling and reinstalling would work but that doesn't seem to be the right solution.
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/56ef23f8-5906-448e-b967-4da3bd2f981d/x64-unrecognized-error-occoured-in-the-windows-web-services-framework-vs-2013?forum=vsdebug

    Hi Questionqwe,
Thank you for posting in MSDN forum.
Based on your issue, could you please tell me what operation you do and then get the error message?
Whether you debug a project from VS2013 and then get the error message?
If yes, you get the error message for a specified project or all different type projects get same error message.
Generally, I know that when we debug a project in the VS2013, the firewall may be impact the VS debug. So the better way is that you disable the Sophos Firewall or un-install the Sophos Firewall and then check if you can debug your project successfully in
    this VS2013.
In addition, since this Sophos Firewall is third-party tool, we are not support it. So if possible, I suggest you can consult this issue directly to the Sophos Firewall official site:
http://www.firewalls.com/contacts/ , maybe you will get better support.
    Thanks for your understanding.

  • PL/SQL Local Debug restricting ports

Does anyone know how to restrict the ports used by the PL/SQL local debugger?

    Shay,
It's not working that way for me. When I open up the PL/SQL function in the editor and then right click within the editor and choose debug, I'm presented with a dialog window titled "Debugger Host for Database Debugging".
This box has only one input control (IP address) and the following text:
"If JDeveloper is running on a machine in a VPN, enter the IP address of the machine as it is known to the rest of the VPN."
I've tried the default, "127.0.0.1", my IP address and even the IP address of the machine running the Oracle DB.
All three of these choices yield the following results:
    =======================================================
    Connecting to the database QF.
Executing PL/SQL: ALTER SESSION SET PLSQL_DEBUG=TRUE
Executing PL/SQL: ALTER SESSION SET PLSQL_COMPILER_FLAGS=INTERPRETED

  • Bypass Proxy for Local Addresses - Office 365 connection/ Outlook 2010

This is a strange one.  Connectivity to Office 365 within our netwotk works fine although very slow for outlook 2010 client to initially connect. Once connected, it works ok.  I have done a netwotk trace using netmon to see if i can identify
the reason for the slow startup (2 mins minumum for profile to load and for outlook to connect to exchange). The trace tell me that my local pc tries to make a direct connection to the office365 external IPs first, then tries the TMG proxy. Once it hits the
proxy, it kicks into life and works.
So it looks to me like it thinks the external IP address of office 365 is an internal address and spends it time trying all the ip addresses until it trys the proxy.  At this point, the
Bypass Proxy Server for Local Addresses is ticked.
As soon as i untick this box, all traffic heads directly to the proxy and of course it connects like lighting.  The exchange settings proxy is set in outlook for "on fast networks, connect using HTTP first, then connect using TCP/IP" (tick
is on) and the same for slow networks.
I cant for the life of me work out why it tries to connect directly to the external IPs first and not connect via TMG until i untick the
Bypass Proxy Server for Local Addresses
Would love any ideas that may assist.

We have been in discussions with Microsoft over the last few days on this issue - which is seen with Outlook 2007 versions onwards.  Extract from resolution communication from Microsoft:
The issue you have raised is known as it has been reported and when you have a proxy set in Internet Explorer and “Bypass proxy settings for local addresses”, Outlook will attempt to connect to Office 365 directly – like the bypass rule would apply.
Because the direct connection is blocked in the Firewall, Outlook needs to have the connections going in Timeout before attempting to connect using the Proxy.
Your network trace proves the issue.
Microsoft have scheduled a fix for Outlook 2010 in February 2014 cumulative update. A fix for Outlook 2013 will also follow, but Outlook 2007 will not be addressed because it is in Extended Support.
There are two possible workarounds for this behaviour:
First, and I wouldn’t recommend it, is to allow Direct traffic through the Firewall to Office 365.
The advantage of this approach is that it will be done centralized and it will impact everyone immediately.
Information about the O365 IP addresses
There are two downsides to this behaviour:
    1.  First you need to maintain the Firewall exceptions as IP from O365 server can change without notice
    2.  Second, winhttp traffic may go through both proxy and direct and this can cause unforeseen behaviour.
The second approach is to use a proxy pac instead of manually setting in the proxy and the exceptions.
The advantage is that you will have centralized method to control how winhttp traffic goes and the issue will not be experienced anymore.
If a single pac does not be fit, you can configure proxy pac files for each site requirements and use an IIS server to store it.

  • Excise duty in the Pricing Procedure for Local Purchase / Importation

    Hi,
I'd like to know how to set up the pricing procedure for the purchase of an IS Oil Material; for local purchase and importation, especially with regards to the excise duty posting.
Local purchase:  the vendor will bill us inclusive of the ED tax he previously paid, so the tax is just passed on to us..  My receiving location has ED paid status. In the PO item, we need to see this price (inclusive of tax) in the net price field.
Importation:  the vendor only bills us the cost of the material.  When we received the fuel, we paid ED tax to local tax authorities.
I know that both in these scenarios, the system has to determine the excise duty.
My questions are (1) how do you set up the excise duty condition type  in the pricing procedure(or do they have to be maintained in the pricing procedure?) ?   and (2)  how do you set up this condition type in the config?
Thank you and hoping for your immediate feedback.

But this will work only if same  discount or freight value is in IV as that given in PO
if freing value changes in IV then its a problem
This is SAP bug, and SAP workes in that way only, freight value should be same in PO and IV
    other solution
in taxinn create tax code like v8 vat 4% for 003 tax clasification
in ftxp create tax code V8 desc vat 4%
in fv11 for jvrd put 4
and at the time of IV put this tax code for freight amount
and for regular material value V1 tax code
this will work only if u have used acess seq MWST instead of JTAX pr JST1
    hope this helps

  • Use airport for internet and ethernet for local?

Hi. Ive searched around and cant find an answer for this.
I have a 27" imac connected to my router and all works fine for accessing the internet.
I have several other devices close by that I want to connect via ethernet. If i connect the imac to another router via ethernet I can browse my local devices but loose internet connectivity. It is as if the imac will suspend the airport connection while the ethernet cable is connected. I don't want my second router to act as a bridge as it doesn't support N speeds.
Essentially, I want the imac to use airport for internet and the ethernet port for local files.... The only workaround I have is to unplug the ethernet cable from the back of the imac when i want to use the internet. I'm hoping it's just a DNS issue, but cant seem to resolve it.
I do not need internet connectivity for the other devices and don't see how i can do that without enabling the wireless side of my second router and then creating a bridge...
    Any suggestions?

It is as if the imac will suspend the airport connection while the ethernet cable is connected.
The Connection Order on your iMac is set so that if both AirPort and Ethernet are "on", the iMac will give priority to the Ethernet connection.
If you want to configure your iMac so that it gives priority to an AirPort connection if both AirPort and Ethernet are "on", give this a try:
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock) and open Network
Click on the small gear icon at the bottom of the connection list on the left
Click on Set Service Order and drag AirPort to the top of the connection order list
    Click OK, then click Apply
Now, if both AirPort and Ethernet are active, your iMac will give priority to the AirPort connection. If you want to connect using Ethernet, you will have to turn AirPort off by clicking the fan shaped AirPort icon at the top of your computer screen.

  • Remote Desktop "Bypass RD gateway server for local addresses" no longer working in Windows 8

    Hi,
After installing windows 8, it seems like the "Bypass RD gateway server for local addresses" is no longer working.
In Windows 7, when the option is checked, I could have the server name set always and the client will automatically detect whether to use the RD gateway or not. For example, from my house, if I am connecting to a computer at my work, which requires
the RD gateway, it will automatically pops up the dialog for authentication method. However, if I connect to a computer in my home network, it will just automatically connects without asking authentication for the RD gateway.
However, after installing windows 8, this does not seem to work as expected anymore. The option is checked but the Windows Security dialog pops up in both situations and so i have to either save the rdp file locally and pin it to the taskbar or switch between
disabling and enabling the RD gateway whenever I need to connect to different machines.
Is this a regression in Windows 8? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?
    Thanks

Another way to resolve this issue for me, beside of configuring RDP to connect directly to server also on unmanaged network, will be to turn the "wifi" subnet in a managed network, as the "wired" subnet is.
The differences between thoses to subnets, dynamically assigned by the same DHCP server, are:
The "wifi" is in a private IP range, the "wired" is in a public IP range
There's an ACL on the "wifi" subnet, not on the "wired"
The next step is to compare frames send/received when on the two networks. Something will likely tell for the network to be managed.
Beside, I'm still searching informations about NLA, which is responsible for setting a nework as managed or not.
    Here are some clues:

If anybody has official MS informations about NLA (A for Awareness and not Authentication), please share!
