Template view fine in test browser but not when a page is created from it

I'm trying to recreate a template page from my site using different code for the drop down menu at the top. The template behaves properly when i test it in Safari vs. 5.0.6 but when i test a page made from that template (using the File>New> Page from Template) it dosen't present with styles. Can anyone see anything wrong with the code? I checked both the code and the CSS using the validators.

It's possible your web server is not properly configured and sends a Content-Type HTTP header that says text/plain instead of text/css for your style sheet file.
If you're using Apache, have your server admin check the httpd.conf file for MIME type settings.

This is not a problem with your main site since the CSS is embedded, rather than remote.

Field avaialble in field catalog but not when I try to create the condition

Hi,
I wanted to add a new table to a delivery output. I need the fields delivery type/ship point and destination country. I could see that destination country (LAND1) is not available in the field catalog. I added it from the list of available fields (in KOMKBV2) and can see it in the field catalog but not when I try to create the condition table. What else do I need to get this field ?

Also add your new field to structure KOMBZ
If you want to use a new field in the field catalog, you must add the field to KOMP or KOMK in the following INCLUDES:
- header data in INCLUDE KOMKAZ in KOMK
- item data in INCLUDE KOMPAZ in KOMP
When you use INCLUDES, the field is automatically added to KOMG and the field catalog.
The routines for assigning values to the new fields in order processing are found in member MV45AFZZ. Use the following user exits:
- USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMK (header fields)
- USEREXIT_PRICING_PREPARE_TKOMP (item fields)

View any report by presing button not when the page rendered by default

hi all,
i am new in apex and i need in help to solve the below issue:
the reports in apex are shown when the page called by default,
i want that the report will show only when i press any button to show it not when the page requested.
hope i can get some solutions here.

Position the button ("Go", for example) in a region that always appear by default.
Your report should be in a different region, but conditionally renders only when button Go is pressed (aka, request triggered by the button is activated)... or only when some parameter is not blank, whatever the condition you want to create.

Title tag: shows up at top of browser, but not when adding to Favorites

On a site I created recently, all seems fine with the Title tag, both in the code and in the browser's Title tag bar. The search engines also seem to recognize it.
But when I do "add to favorites", instead of the Title tag, I get "http--www.realestatephotographerseattle.com-", including the funny dashes.
I also had this occur on another site I built recently. But most sites, it shows up as normal.

There really isn't much wrong with your code. Only 2 things jump out at me. One there is a </div> on line 156 after your web stats ends, but there is no open div to close. And second you are using the legacy Google Analytics code and not the newer code that now goes right before the </head> as opposed to the end of the document, so some features will not work because of that.

TS2771 why are we hearing only background sounds when using earbuds? works fine on ipod dock but not when earbud plug is pushed all the way in, it works when just barely pushed in. please someone tell me it is a "cheap" fix. :)

The headphones work with other devices it would appear the the headphone jack is bad and needs to be replaced.

Slit Scan looks fine in Motion preview but not when I Export to Movie

I have a project that I finally got to look exactly the way I wanted, but when I export it to a Quicktime Movie, it's all messed up. I used the Slit Scan filter on a PSD image for the background, and it looks great in the preview in Motion, but when I go to export it, the top half and the bottom half alternately drop out to black. I've tried every setting I can think of but nothing changes it. I've tried several different export options as well, but no luck. I'm up against a hard deadline and I just can't get it to work. Anyone have any ideas?

In the export settings, I typically just leave everything as current settings, and use canvas settings, but I've tried changing everything and nothing makes any difference. I posted it to YouTube if you'd like to see what the problem is. The link is:

You can see at about the 3 second mark that the Castle logo with drop shadow is on a black background. The background isn't ever supposed to be black, and isn't in the canvas window. It's supposed to vary from light gray, to yellow and white, but never black. There is also supposed to be a white horizontal glow that spans the width of the frame right about the center, and that has just dropped out completely. The top also drops to black and shouldn't. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated.

I'm seeing the same and I agree, it's very annoying. You can at least get around it in both situations by turning on Mirroring from the Airplay menu (after double-tapping the Home button). Hopefully the iPlayer app will be updated soon to fix this. I'm assuming it's an oversight at the moment.

1. I am getting correct termocouple readings when using the virtual channel test panel, but not when using labView software created by the DAQ wizards. why and how to solve it?
2. I am unable to switch on 6V relay using DAQ card's output voltage but able to do so using other voltage supply. How to solve this?

In answer to #2, the DAQ card's analog and digital outputs cannot drive
enough current to turn on a relay. What you need to do is use the output to
drive a MSOFET or transistor that will drive the relay. You can use the 5V
computer supply that is available on the DAQ card connector as the power
supply that the MOSFET or transistor use to turn the relay on.

Load swf works in Publish Preview but not when published

Hi Folks,
I having a problem where im trying to load two 1mb SWF movies into my Flash piece. It works fine in Publish Preview but not when I finally publish. I get this error in IE:
SecurityError: Error #2000: No active security context.
I have googled around and there is some talk online of a hack where by you get a timeout to overcome this. However im not so technical do I dont really know how to do this to my code in AS3. My code at the moment is below.

I think this is either a problem with my site preLoader or my external .swf Loader. I was checking out the bandwith profiler and saw something weird and I wondered if anyone could explain...I've added a picture. I have a blank frame on only my actions layer to export classes to and it seems that frame 2 is "bleeding" into frame 1. Could this be my problem? Why would this happen? Thanks

Javascript Navigator shows in Browser but not in DW Design View

I am trying to install a javascript navigator on a web page.
When I do this and view it in the design window, I get a message
that says "Your browser does not support script". When I try to
preview this with the IE browser, the navigation bar shows up. I am
new at this so what am I missing? It shows up in the browser but
not in the DW design page.

DW's design view does not interpret/execute javascript.

I don't think that a software update from Apple will solve the issues that you are having. You have a rogue installation. After you posted I have just done the following:
Disk Utility can verify my partitioned Volume (including my boot disk) AND REPAIR the non-boot disks on the same Volume without a glitch. It repairs the non-boot disks containing data smoothly.
I have used Mail to send some mails from some Yahoo and Hotmail accounts to my Thunderbird client containing GMail accounts - absolutely normal.
I have iLife '09 but my iMovie '09 and iPhoto '09 open in a jiffy and I see no issues here. I have 6GB RAM (Maximum) on an early 2008 Macbook Pro with a 750GB hard drive partitioned with 120GB reserved for the Boot Drive.
I am sorry that I cannot help further but I am sure there must be a way to reinstall the software without having to revert to restoring your ML backup. I have two clones and if you have such I would attempt to do that through that rather than through Time Machine - that is of course if you have a cloned drive.

PDF form submission problem - works in Acrobat and Reader, but not when embedded in browser

Hello everyone,
I am trying to submit a PDF form to an application server.
To do this, I added a "Submit" button to the PDF, configured the server's address and submit format, and tested the button.
I opened the PDF in Acrobat Pro, clicked the button, and my web application received the form in PDF format just as I wanted.
To make it work in Reader, I had to extend user rights via Acrobat Pro, and then the form worked inside Reader as well.
Up to here, everything went fine.
Then I embedded the PDF in a web page (which will be the final scenario) and it all stopped working.
The submit button doesn't do anything anymore, and no data is sent to the application server.
I even tried switching from the form's submit mechanism to calling event.target.submitForm(...) in Javascript directly, but nothing changed (meaning this too worked only when opening the form as an "offline" pdf, but not when embedding it in a web page).
Is there something I am missing? Something else that must be configured/activated in order to be able to submit the PDF when it is in the form of an embedded object?

I tested the submit button both in Reader 9.3 and Acrobat 8 (which is the same I used to RE the PDF).
Apparently I got it working too, but only by deploying my embedding web page to an application server.
The final environment the PDF will be embedded into will be inside a web application deployed to an application server, so I guess my problem is solved.
It didn't work only when embedded into a local test.html web page saved on my PC...

Look with firefox this page and with Intenet Explorer and see the differents. In Firefox the menu show nice, but into Intenet Explorer not!!
When i open the same page lokale the page ist good till I alow the script inside Internet Explorer....

Alvast hartelijk dank voor de tips, de voorgestelde wijzegingen staan nu online. Maandag kijk ik hier nog verder naar, nu heb ik nog wat weibg marge links en rechts en staat het submenu nog iets te ver weg.

Hi, I am using SQL Server 2008 R2 & deploying a report to reportserver with fixed headers while scrolling, this works fine in bids but not when deployed to reportserver. We are IE 9.

Since you have identified the 2 xml files are identical, according to my knowledge, there maybe a compatibility issue with IE 9 and SSRS 2008 R2, so I suggest that you could run the report in compatibility mode. Please make sure you have turned on Compatibility
View in Internet Explorer 9 by following steps:
When Internet Explorer recognizes that a webpage is not compatible, you will see the Compatibility View button on the Address bar. Try clicking it.
When Compatibility View is turned on, the button changes from an outline to a solid color when you view the page.
