Templates at BC not showing up as templates in DW
Hi
Usually when I work on a new BC site, DWTs are created for templates when using the SITE MANGER > PAGE TEMPLATES > NEW TEMPLATES, at least they show up as DWT in Dreamweaver after downloading them. I have to edit one of the very first sites that I have built using BC and need to create new templates, but none of them are being recognized as templates in Dreamweaver afte download them.
Anythoughts?
Thanks, in advance, Teejay
If you just used ftp or set up the site manually in Dreamweaver that will happen.
Two things you can do:
1: Use the 'Import Business Catalyst Site' feature in Dreamweaver
2: Or add /dw to your user name in the ftp settings
This should convert the BC templates to Dreamweaver templates.
The template must also have {tag_pagecontent} in it.

Report parameter does not show up in rtf template
Hi all
I was able to produce an rtf file based on the XML bellow. I could create the header with the customer name and the invoice list with the totals. However, I already tried by any means to insert the AS_OF_DATE parameter in the rtf template but it never appears. Do I have to put it between a <?for-each?> <?end for-each?>. This must be a simple question but I’m very new to this.
Thanks in advance for any help.
Octavio

Hi All,
I am using SCOM 2007 R2 CU4 in my environment. I want to do a service monitoring on specific agents. When i try creating this service monitor which comes under the Management pack template when i select the service which i want to monitor it does not
show all the services in the drop down.
For example - I have Windows audio service which is present on the machine, But it is not showing in the service list.
So from the services stating from "W" i see only 5 in SCOM and in services.msc in the Agent i see more than 5.
Below is the screen shot.
Can any one please help.
Gautam.75801Hi Yan Li,
So based on your above suggestion, If the services are already managed / monitored by a specific
management pack those services will not appear here in the Wizard while creating this type of a Management pack object alert right ?
If that is the case why does not the same reflect here in the operations console in the Services monitor
TAB ?

Flash not showing up in DW Template
I have a DW template page that contains a flash element at
the top and when I apply it to my pages and upload the pages the
flash is missing. I thought it was a problem with where the swf
resided, but I've put the swf file in the images folder, I put it
in it's own swf directory and now it's in the same directory as the
temp. Still not showing up. I'm using CS3. Anyone have any
suggestions?
Here is one of the pages...

you do, make
the link to the Flash file ROOT RELATIVE.

Background Images not showing up in template-based pages
For some reason, whenever I make a custom .dwt template, with
background images for things such as buttons, on my newly created
page, the background images do not show up. Anyone know why? Thanks
for the help in advance.Best you start here:

Fix those and then see if the problem goes away. If not, post
back. At lease
with clean code we may be able to spot the problem.

Web Service in Document Template Designer not showing
Hi,
I'm trying to create a new document template but the dropdown list is not showing any results even though we have web services that are active and productive.
If I enter the name manually I am getting a "Please enter a valid Service definition name" error message.
Has anybody seen this issue before?
Thanks
GregorHi,
I was also getting same error once...However i was able to see my web service definition in F4. Selecting from F4 list was working fine but if i entered the name mannually, i was getting the same message as you got...may be its a Bug..
Just to assist you, Have to activated the webservice from SICF before going for deployment using template or Adobe ?
Just check if you have maintained the webservice in SICF.
Thanks & Regards,

Motion 5 Template Publishing Not Showing Up in FCPX
I did a clean install of Lion 10.7.1 and a clean install of FCPX and Motion 5. For some reason, when I publish a template/generator/effect from Motion 5, it does not show up FCPX unless I restart FCPX. When I first started using both Motion 5 and FCPX, as soon as I switched back to FCPX, the published template was there.
I've repaired permissions, restarted the computer, etc. Why won't this work any more? Any ideas?Mark Spencer answered this for me on another forum. This is a known Lion bug. Doesn't happen in Snow Leopard. Just an inconvenience, but hope it's fixed soon.

L9 does not show my MPC (and other) Groove Templates?!
hey all
When i open a project from L8 (that had all my groove quantizes on it) in L9, they do not show
any ideas?OK, open a new blank project in the arrange page, If you have a standard temple, pull this up. Go to the media browser and select one of the files to be converted, do this one at a time ( i.e. MPC then ASQ etc. )
Pull the file onto the arrange page on an instrument channel, select the whole thing, go to the top of the inspector window, at the top you'll see quantise, scroll down till you see "make groove template" and select it.
Now if you've done it right the grooves should appear in the quantise window at the top of the piano roll window.
Step 2: Select the midi part you've just converted to grooves, Right ( cntrl ) click/pack folder. On the channel it's sitting on, select it to be no output, lock the channel ( View/ configure track header... protect, when the padlock appears in the track thing at the side click the padlock, it'll turn green )
repeat as above till all the grooves appear in your quantize.
Step three, save as template, save as Autoload.logic ... overwrite.
This will now be permanent for all of your new projects.
Happy days. -

The templates are not showing up after I select them???
the templates on pages are not showing up after I select them....unless I highlight the entire page and select a particular colour. That leaves all the colours in the photo off. Any help would be so very helpful.

I think you have forgotten to do a Software update or it could also be a font problem but more info from you is needed! -
Orchestral Template NOT showing up in Logic - on start! Ideas? Help?
I have the Orchestral Jam pack installed (MBP) but not all of them.
Am I missing something? The jam pack is installed but does not show up in my LOGIC TEMPLATE.
Help, GREATLY x 100, appreciated.
Thanks
It does show up in loop browser but no templates, if missing a file can someone send? Is it on one of the discs?
Thanks (what would I look for (templates).Yup, just talked to Apple, will have to do the update again, or I could come in the Apple Store and copy the files from them, (which is why I asked) and will do if know one sends. The should be small, and on disc one, it doesn't list the templates, so would need to get Pacifist in which case from what I understand, if you don't know what you are doing you can make a real mess of things.

Last Data Update Info field not showing in Web Template
Last Data Update Info field does not show up in the Web Template. This Web Template is for a MultiProvider on top a single cube.
Greatly appreciate if anyone has any insight into this issue.Hi Suma,
if other queries work fine using exactly the same (customized) template the problem is most likely not the template. Does the appropriate query does display figures? Is your data binding done correctly within the template?
What happens if you execute the customized template which does not display Last Data Update Info field with another (i.e. a different) query? Does it display the Last Data field? What happens the other way round: you execute a different template with the appropriate query (which does not display Last Data Update). Does it show the Last Data Update?
Just give it a try, this sometimes help

Web template data is not showing
Hello All,
Can any one tell me what would be the reason that when i am executing the query separately it is showing the data but when I execute the web template it is not showing any data it shows as No applicable data. Please note I am using the same selection for the both execution.
Is there any setting in WAD for this kind of error?
Thanks in advance
NitinHi Nitin,
The report will show as "no applicable data found" only when the report doesn't contain the data which meet our req selections. If you have any variable selection screen before executing the web report, run with out giving any selctions. If that is a mandatory variable then make them as optional and run with out giving any selections. But , If you want selected data and the report is showing no data when you give that selections means, there is no data available for that selection combinations. So, check this once.
Thanks. -

Priyesh.Hi Priyesh,
Are you sure youhave the web template properties open and not those of any web item in this template? If you can;t find the option you can try coding it in HTML (look at the code in the Q system and copy - paste it into your template in Dev)
Hope this helps...
