Templates interactive Forms or examples to deploy
Hello everybody,
Well I have a little question, very easy.
Is it possible to find template example for Interactive Form (DVD Netweaver or in a download folder) ?
It's just to deploy few examples to test.
Thanks a lot
Cheers
Aurelien
Hi Henry,
You can find one tutorial for sample Adobe application in help contents of Netweaver developer studio.
In neteaver developer studio goto help->Help contents.
there go to SAP Web as Java application->Development manual -> Developing Web applications -> Webdynpro-> The development process -> Data binding of User interface Eement properties -> data binding of BusinessGraphics UI element -> Code example of the Use of Interactive PDF form
It has given all steps required to build simple pdf form application.

Regarding dynamic tables in interactive forms
Hi All,
I have designed a webdynpro view which contains a table,i have to generate a pdf format file which also contains
a table as there in the webdynpro view.
I have designed a dynamic table in interactive form and binded the interactive form ui element with the datasource and pdfSource.
In the interactive form i am getting only one row data of webdynpro view table.In the Object palette, I selected Repeat Row For Each Data Item.
share with me if u have any idea or send any document regarding table binding(dynamic) in interactive form.

Hiding toolbars in Interactive form element
Hi all,
I am using interactive form element to embed a purely readonly pdf (but content is dynamic) since Iframes is deprecated (any other way?).
I wish to hide the toolbars, options of thumbnails etc. I added the code below to my view controller. However, it does not seem to work. All the toolbars are still showing. Did i do something wrong?
IWDPDFDocumentInteractiveFormHandler iFormHandler =
WDPDFDocumentFactory.getDocumentHandler(wdThis.wdGetAPI(),
"InteractiveForm");
IWDPDFDocumentAppearance appearance =
iFormHandler.getDocumentContext().getAppearance();
appearance.hideMenuBar(true);
appearance.hideToolBars(true);
appearance.hideWindowControl(true);
TIAHi,
As the error suggests that you do not have any certificate configured in your key store which is required to authenticate the client to the ADS. You would require to install a client certificate on your Web Dynpro/Portal server that will be used to authenticate the Web Service call to ADS.
But the question is whether you need "Https" for a server to server communication (from your portal server to ADS server) ? Normally, these two servers reside in the LAN. And i suppose you are not using any of the secured functionalities of interactive form (for example, digital signature, certification etc.). I assume that you need "https" call from browser to the portal server and then from portal server to the ADS should be on http. Please confirm on that. If that is the case, then you can follow the section below to change the "protocolSchemeForADSCall" to "http" always. This is what you would need to do in the Visual Administrator where your portal/web dynpro is installed:
In Visual Administrator. Go to ->
Server -> Services -> Configuration Adapter -> webdynpro -> sap.com ->
tcwddispwda -> Propertysheet default
Then goto property sap.protocolSchemeForADSCall
This property is available after you apply SAP note 849730.
Possible values are:
- request: same protocal scheme than the request to Web Dynpro has
- https: always use https
- http: always use http
SET the value as http. This will ensure that web Dynpro to ADS communication always happens on http, rather than on https.
Should you need to install SSL based communication between the two, you would need to follow the note:

Adobe Designer - Interactive form/template (visible but don't print messges
Hello,
I'm making a interactive form or template with Adobe Designer, in which I have one object field and a few text fields.
What I need to do is add messages on those fields so the person using the interactive form/template can know what to input in each field and were the fields are since they don't have border or background. For example I need to have a message like this: "click here to add your logo" in the object field, those messages can't be printed since they are just instrucctions for the person using the form/template.
I tried the Tooltip but since the fields can have border people won't know were the fields are and the Tooltip only works when you place the cursor on the field.
Any suggestions?The input parameters you are seeing in a 'Web Dynpro like' form are more than likely input parameters to the process. Process input parameters come from action input parameters in process blocks and actions that are not mapped. Given that, it sounds like you have not mapped all the input parameters for one or more of your actions in your process. By default, GP provides the process initiator the ability to specify the values of these inputs when a process is started. To avoid this you can either,
1. Map all the input parameters.
2. Specify the process to start automatically under the 'Instantiation' tab for the process template. By selecting this, input parameters are ignored and their default values used.
3. Don't expose these parameters if they are not required or applicable to your process. This can be done at the action or block level under the 'Parameters' tab.

Thanks for informing about the Web Service. So I have added to the path as follows:
Services -> Web Services Security -> Web Service Clients -> tcwdpdfobject -> com.sap.tc.webdynpro.adsproxy.AdsProxy*ConfigPort_Document
Here I have added in <b>Connection Settings</b>
URL = http://host:port/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=document
System ID = ECC
Client = 400
Language = EN
and in <b>Logon Data</b> added as follows
Authentication : Basic
User Name : ADSUser
Password : XXXXXX

Using a pdf-template for generating an interactive form
Hi guys,
I have got the following problem. I have got an pdf-Document, that can be printed out and filled out manually.
Instead of I just want to use this pdf-Document as an template for an online form, by adding some fields.
How can I use this pdf-Document as an template?
Thank you for your answers. Patrick.Hi Patrick,
Let me see if I understand your query properly first. Your requirement is that you have a PDF file which is pretty much fixed.
Now you want to use the Template present in the PDF file to be shown to the user, but this should be pre-filled with data that you receive from a Web Service & RFC.
Now firstly I will mention the easy way, which would require you extract the PDF Template statically, I am not sure if the API has now been released to do that programatically.
Now, lets say you store it is some location the template file, you would also need to tweak the DataBinding properties in the Template to match to that of the Context Node you will use in the application.
Now in the ModifyView method you should get a reference to the Interactive form element, use the setTemplateSource method to refer to your template.
Now based on the response from your RFC/WebService create the appropriate attributes into the node, and your form should work fine.

tiffnyHi Siva,
If you are developig your form using NWDS, make sure about the cardinality of the context parameter - data Source not 0..1 or 0..n.You may refer similar threads (of same kind of error) in this forum..
Hope this helps. Assuming you have successfully tested, ADS and the credential file at the ABAP stack, by rurnning the respective ABAP reports.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi Experts,
I need to submit the data in the adobe interactive form to the R/3 using abap webdynpro.
But I don't know how to complete the submit code in the R/3 or the adobe form?
Action:
1. create a adobe interactive form (a_interactive_form)in the view of the WDA for abap.
2. create a adobe form (b_form)in the R/3 using sfp with a inputfield and submit button.
3. bind the b_form to the a_interactive_form, and bind the context to the b_form so that the data can be transfered to the b_form.
4. type code in the WDA for abap for setting data to the context.
5. active the WDA and run the WDA.
6. Type the inputfield "ssssss" in the adobe form and click the submit button.
now, the step 1 to 5 is ok. But I don't know how to complete the submit code in the R/3 or the adobe form so that the WDA may get the data "ssssss"?
Do you give some example or some hint for this problem ?
Thanks & Regards,
