Templates not uploading all pages using same template.

Hey guys, I'm having difficulties with Dreamweaver at the moment.
Here's the problem:
I've created a template for my current website. This file has .dwt so it's the template.
I've created so far 3 different pages using html and the template.dwt file.
The template has a editable region for the content.
But, I was editing the non editable regions, like the naviagation links and names.
I changed some information on the template file, pressed Ctrl+S then this window popped up:

Yes, it works so far according to dream weaver template guides, but I have 2 other pages using the templates which are named index.html and staffinfo.html, which is not showing up there.
After I pressed update: It shows:

I'm wondering what might be the problem there. I had a look at the html code on my other 2 pages that wern't displayed, and at the top it was linked with the template file name which was the same as the "offguides".
Another question i want to ask is, is there a way to update a template without already having to open the files with the templates on? Because at the moment, I have to open all the files with the template on, then save them manually after I saved the template. Because if i have like 1000 different pages using the same templates it would be quite time consuming to keep pressing save and open 1000 different tabs for the pages. So is there like a auto update & save? The two other pages doesn't show up in the pop-up window, but if I open them the templates updates them, but i still have to save manually.

Why can I not print all pages in a multi-page document?

We are using Adobe Acrobat Reader, version 11.0. It's on a relatively new laptop (Windows 8) and accessing the internet through Mozilla. The printer is an HP Officejet. When I open a multi-page Adobe document and try to print all pages, I only get 1-2, have to then say print page 3, then say print page 4, etc. We use Adobe on our other laptop and it prints all pages of all Adobe documents and we have never had a problem and he accesses documents on the internet also through Mozilla.

Have you updated iTunes with the absolute latest software? If you have not in a long time, your iPad won't be recognized.

Report header section does not print all pages

Hi,
I have a custom report that consists of all 3 parts. it has a header section, main section, and a trailer section.
I have a problem in a header section that it does not print all pages. It only gives the output of the first page and the last page for the header section.
I open the .rdf file with oracle reports 6i .
what do i need to check please?

Preview App not displaying all pages

I am finding under Mavericks Preview App is not displaying all pages of some pdf's.
If you turn on thumbnails you can see and select all the pages but it's not possible to scroll down through all the pages. Weird and annoying...

First, before you do anything else at all, make a copy of your file as a backup. You said "Book" but I'm thinking you mean in one file, not a combined file InDesign Book (.indb) project.
Now you need to test to see if this is a program problem or a file problem.
Are the pages still there? Can you choose them from the navigation box in the lower left corner of the document window?
Is this happening with any other documents? If you export this file to .inx (Interchange format) then open that, do the pages display properly?

How to set all pages using template A to instead use template B?

I am using Dreamweaver Web CS4.
I have inherited a website that uses Dreamweaver templates. In the website, the previous webmaster used several different templates for different sections of the site.
I am trying to redesign the website to use PHP includes to decrease the bloat of the site. As such, I am trying to change the template for all pages on the site to the new one that I have designed. I have not found a way to do this. I can select pages individually and change their templates but I have not found a way to do a batch template update. Is there a way to do this? If not, can anyone think of a better way to standardize the website rather than updating templates individually?

You would definitely want to add the title editable region. Each page should have a page-specific title for optimal SE exposure. Without that editable region, you wouldn't be able to create page-specific titles.
So - add the title editable region. Now your two templates have the same number of editable regions, each with the same name.
Then all you have to do is to close *all* files in DW. Then do a find and replace like this -
FIND -
/Templates/template_A.dwt
REPLACE -
/Templates/template_B.dwt
Make a backup of the whole site first.
Finally, open template_B, make a trivial change and reverse it. Save template_B and update the whole site. That should do the trick.

Dreamweaver not uploading all files to business catalyst site

some files are uploading, most are not or are uploading blank pages. tried to update from build 12.0 to 12.0.3 but installation keeps throwing an error code. kind of desperate and no phone lines to adobe. so frustrated with products that should work together and don't and no support.

Blank page or one from the “home template” files put fine.
But when I use the “default template” nothing happens.
says it is putting and that transfer is complete… but nothing is there… see this page:

Make all pages the same width?

I've seen several answers to this question but they all seem to involve using an external app such as PDF Creator, Distiller, or something like that.
I have a pdf with three pages with different widths. From within Acrobat X, what is the easiest way to make all three pages the same width, or is that even possible without using an external app? If it is possible, please describe how to do this step by step.
By the way, I know there are steps that can be taken to avoid ending up with pdf's that have pages of varying lengths, but this question is not about that. It is about existing pdf's. Thanks a lot
I am using Adobe Acrobat X version 10.0.0.396 on Windows XP Pro SP3

Good question - I would say make all the page be the same width as the widest one. In general, these pdf's will contain 8.5" x 11" pages, sometimes in combination with legal size pages. The actual size of each page will differ depending on such things as who they came from and how they produced the pdf's, what software was used, which scanner was used, etc.
Here would be an example pdf:
The first 3 pages approximately 8.5" x 11" format. The last 2 pages are legal size. As you page throgh the document, the widths change. My usual setting as I page through a pdf is Fit Width. But in this pdf, the first two pages look right, the third page is too narrow, the fourth page looks right, and the fifth page looks too narrow. So given that, How would I make all 5 pages the same width so that as I page through the pdf, the widths are all exactly the same, and not just appear the same? If I have to choose which width they should all be, I'd say go with the widest one.
If I need to run some javascript to accomplish this, that's ok - I'll strip it out before distributing the pdf. Thanks

Hi Vara,
By default there will be a value set by the administrator for the number of pages you can view in the spool. So to me it looks like this value is set to 33 in yoru case. You can go to setting from the same screen and change thsi setting to display all pages. But beware that this may take a long time some times and also give you a dump at times.

Acrobat 10 not Scanning all Pages from ADF (Automatic Document Feeder)

Acrobat 10 does not scan all of the pages from the Automatic Document Feeder from an attached scanner, and only scans some of the pages. The ADF works fine with the built-in Windows 7 Scan and Fax, as well as with HP's software, but it just won't work with Adobe Acrobat for whatever reason. The scanners that we are using are brand new, and the model is: LaserJet Pro 200 color MFP M276mw. The issue has been duplicated on four computers and two scanners, in a Windows 7 x64 Enterprise environment. Thank you for the suggestion! We wound up figuring out a way to make their "full feature" software (which does include the TWAIN drivers) install mostly silently, and install only if they've connected the device locally to their computer, as noted in the other post that was submitted a few minutes ago. I really appreciate all of the help that you’ve given us!
In order to duplicate the WIA driver issue, use only the “HP LaserJet Pro 200 Color M276 PCL6 Print Driver (no installer)” (LJ-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276-driver-only-13170.exe) driver package. This driver only package doesn’t appear to have any of the files you mentioned in your previous post in the Scan_App folder for the TWAIN functionality (but those files are available in the “full feature” setup). We copied the entire “driver-only” folder to our plug and play driver folder, and the drivers automatically install. Once they get installed, there isn’t a TWAIN option anywhere to be found in any scanning application, just the WIA driver as far as I can tell. Adobe Acrobat 10 when using the ADF then skips some pages when scanning.
However, now that you’ve found the install files for the TWAIN driver for the scanner, this should be a non-issue for people as they can just install those and use TWAIN instead, so thank you!
Also, I find it rather amusing that you were able to help us with what appears to be an HP issue far better and faster than HP did or could. We spoke with seven people at HP, and not a single one of them pointed us in any useful direction or provide us with any useful information on the matter; had we followed any of their advice we would have lost countless hours (one person suggested taking the scanners apart and thoroughly cleaning the rollers, even though it was clearly stated they work fine from a hardware perspective with the full feature software installed and that they are brand new). So anyway, thank you. If you require anything else from us, let me know.

Presence indicators not working on pages using custom master page

I have a SP 2013 publishing site. I crated a custom master page using Randy Drisgill's starter master page for SP2013. All good so far. Then I created a page to hold a people search (refinement, search box and search results web parts). The search results
show the staff info and photo but the colour to the left of the image is not there. They are all white. Also when you hover over the image you don't get the popup to send an email or start an IM.
I initially though it must have been an issue with some of the javascript that my custom master page has included such as jQuery. Swapping back to the Seattle OOTB master page the presence indicators appeared, but it took a long time after the swap - like
the JS was cached and when I swapped back to my custom master page the presence stuff worked for a little while before disappearing again.
Then in IE developer tools I noticed that if I set it to use 10 instead of Edge the presence indicators always work. As soon as swapping back to Edge they die.
So I'm confused as to whether it is a conflict with jQuery or some other JS on my master page or if it is that the IM presence indicators don't work in Edge.
Has anyone had a similar experience and found an answer?

No my master page does not have that in it. That is in Randy's 2010 starter master page but not in his 2013 one.
The issue appears to be this line in the master page which was forcing IE to use Edge rendering engine which the init.js code must not be compatible with.

MX922 not scanning all pages

Hello all, I'm getting a really strange error. I only started noticing this today. I have an 11 page document and when I load it in the tray, it scans all the pages, the status bar on my computer counts up to the 11 pages when it is scanning, but the pdf that it saves does not have all 11 pages. I've had different results: 1st try - 6 pages2nd try - 8 pages3rd try - 8 pages4th try - 8 pages All of the pages are in order (not skipping between scanned pages). It's even stranger that the software on my pc shows all 11 pages being scanned while the progress bar. I'm using: Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1Canaon MX922 firmware 3.001

Are you using the IJ Scan utility to initiate the scan? If so, are you selecting Auto-Scan or Document Scan?
